Hi,I am using the the SecureBoot on a STM32L4 with the KMS, I have some questions related to the protections:As I use the KMS, I read in the UM2262: "With KMS middleware integration, SBSFU keys are no more stored in a section under PCROP protection but inside the KMS code running in the secure enclave". So what is the effect of activating the SFU_PCROP_PROTECT_ENABLE in app_sfu.h ?If I don't activate SFU_FWALL_PROTECT_ENABLE, can a malicious user application read the keys from the KMS code running in the secure enclave? If yes, does activating the firewall protection make the secrets from the KMS code running in the secure enclave un-readable by the User App ?I read in UM2262 that using RDP L1 is not recommended because WRP can be reprogrammed. So if I understood correctly, a malicious attacker with physical access to the hardware could disable WRP and use a malicious User App to overwrite the keys in the flash. However how could that malicious app be installed as it won't be signed wi

Hi,We want to design an antenna for the ST25DV64K NFC chip. According to the characteristics that the chip has, it needs an antenna with an inductance of 4,83 uH. Our question is if we can design an antenna with higher inductance and add a series capacitor to the chip to compensate. For example: if we create a 12.69 uH antenna, the capacitance of the chip should be 10.85 pF (ST25DV64K chip internal capacitance is 28,5 pF). Can we add a 17.52 pF series capacitor to the chip to achieve the desired capacitance? Or is it only possible to add capacitors in parallel? Thank you for the help.Best regards,IF

Hi all,I have been trying to build a custom machine based on STM32MP157C MPU. Right now I am facing a weird issue.Defconfig file is attached. However upon giving build , i cannot see the stm32-crc module , built added and loaded. Is there something which i am missing? TIA

Dear ST   As a follow up to my previous question (https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001Tgf47SAB/high-power-consumption-in-low-power-examples:(   I'm using a custom board based on the STM32WB55CE6U MCU, design using the various application notes and Nucleo-WB datasheet/user manual. The board does work, as I'm able to run my core BLE application with ADC/DMA and other functionality.   I've now started to implement Low Power (FreeRTOS tickless idle) using STOP2 mode. The current consumption has dropped significantly (from 10mA --> 630uA during idle), but that is nowhere near the 3-6uA the BLE_HeartRate_FreeRTOS example uses on the Nucleo development board.   Digging in to the issue I've played around with the simple PWR_STOP2_RTC example, which uses ~3uA on the Nucleo. Running the same (basically) software on my board, the consumption is never below ~80uA. I've literally soldered off all components but the basics - see pictures.   Are there some custom

Using an stm32f105RBt6 : i have a working project with canbus and USBdevice.i have another working project with canbus and FAtFS(SPI-sd card)None of them work once i include FATfs+USBCDCdevicei dont know what to make up from this, last time i had a similar error i had messed up my include logic.stm32f105RBt6 custom board.SD Card trough SPI2, sandisk ultra 16GB.CubeMx version 6.4.0, STM32Cube_FW_F1_V1.8.4 package which uses FatFs version R0.10c, Nov 09, 2014.CubeIDE Version: 1.8.0

Hi I want to ask that In SBSFU example for STM32G474 in user app application Firmware update is done using ymodem protocol i.e. UART can we used SPI protocol instead of this is this possible to use SPI or there is any limitation????? Please suggest

If changed char length 450 to 140 now every thing will be fine. but when i put char length 450 or more than 140. It will return 0x48 error value.The paramerters i was passed, these are ret = aci_gatt_add_char(chatServHandle, UUID_TYPE_128, (Char_UUID_t *)&uuid, /*(char length)/* 450, CHAR_PROP_READ, ATTR_PERMISSION_NONE, GATT_DONT_NOTIFY_EVENTS,       /* encription key*/ 0, 1, &TestRXTXcharHandle);

Greetings,I've been using M24LR64E-R and CR95HF card on Windows for some time. Using the demo card, I'm able to achieve consistent interrupts but on my Android app the tag seems to miss the interrupts while the writing is happening. No particular difference in the algorithm I'm following. The only considerable difference is; CR95HF.dll has a function called CR95HFDll_select where Android doesn't offer a protocol selection as such. How can I achieve the selection that CR95HFDll_select adds on Android? Or is there something I'm missing from the datasheets that'd help me adjust my Android app better so that I can generate consistent interrupts after writing blocks?Best regards.

I am using STM32CubeIDE V 1.9.0, with an Nucleo board with STM32F401, and STLink integrated. Debugger just stopped working. I have spent hours trying to change debugging configurations, upgrading STLink firmware, but nothing. When I press Debug I see a progress bar down in the right in the IDE, it launches debug perspective, but never starts, programs, runs, or enables debug buttons such as Step-into, step over, pause, etc.I am missing something or It must be a known issue. Did someone experiment this issue recently? Thanks.

Hello,When trying to access this page: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Bring-up_troubleshooting_grid I get a permission error. This page is found by the search function. Is this page not available to everyone ?Thansk in advance for your reply

Hello, i'm trying to execute a delay code from CCM memory but the MCU is frezing when enter to 'delay_ms' function. It is the first time that i try this and i don´t know if the linker file, and the startup file modifications are good implemented so i post there the modifications:LD File:/* Used by the startup to initialize ccm data */ _siccmdata = LOADADDR(.ccmdata); ... /* Initialized data section into "CCM" Ram type memory */ .ccmdata : { . = ALIGN(4); _sccmdata = .; /* create a global symbol at data start */ *(.ccmdata) /* .ccmdata sections */ *(.ccmdata*) /* .ccmdata* sections */ *(.ccmFunc) /* .ccmFunc sections */ *(.ccmFunc*) /* .ccmFunc* sections */   . = ALIGN(4); _eccmdata = .; /* define a global symbol at data end */ } >CCMRAM AT> FLASH /* Uninitialized data section into "CCM" Ram type memory */ . = ALIGN(4); .ccmbss : { _sccmbss = .; /* create a global symbol at ccmram start */ *(.ccmbss) *(.ccmbss*) . = ALIGN(4); _eccmbss = .; /* create

I created a project with STM32MXCube for the STM32G030F6P6. No changes to the settings. Generate code, run it in STM32CubeIDE in the debugger (STLINK). No changes to the generated code. It stops at main. If I single step it gets to the while(1) loop. If I hit run, and then pause, but PC is somewhere there is no source code. Call stack displays Thread #1 [main] 1 [core:0 ] (Suspended : Signal : SIGINT:Interrupt)then lists0x1fff12c60x1fff1176I have no clue how the CPU gets there. I am just trying to start with something that works before I add one line of code. Any suggestions? I wish there was a WORKING example for this value line CPU.

Dear experts,Still not sure after reading the fine manuals. On CM7 (STM32H7, F7) if I and D caches have never been enabled after reset, can speculative data fetch and instruction fetch still occur? Is speculative access independent from caching?

I have a new project on an STM32H7A3 processor with a  microSDHC Card. We want to read/write files with FatFS. In another project with STM32H7A3 we have SDHC Cards working perfectly. Code is created with the latest release of CubeMX 6.5.0 and HAL V: 1.10.0.In the new project we had to use microSD card for reduced space reasons. With the microSD the call to fmount returns "FR_NO_FILESYSTEM". But on the PC the card is readable and has one folder installed.I stepped through the source code and fount that the "find_volume" routine returns FR_NO_FILESYSTEM due to "fmt=3" .Currently we have no idea for a possible solution. The pins are working and pin connection is checked, data is sent/received on the MISO/MOSI lines.Clockspeed was 25 MHz, reducing to 20 and 16.6 MHz did not solve the problem.USE_SD_TRANSCEIVER = 0.Has anybody an idea where to look at further? Is there any futher switch necessary to specify "micro"SDHC cards instead of SDHC?Thank you for any comments.BR G

If the Data cache is disabled to solve dma data coherency, it reduce performance a lot?  I know functions SCB_ClearDCache(), SCB_InvalidateDCache() to solve that issue. But there is a risk that an error message will not occur even if omitted by mistake. And another method using MPU is too difficult in freeRTOS. So I want to disable the data cache as long as it doesn't degrade performance much. Does this cause any other problems?I don't know which flash interface to use, AXI or TCM. Are there any restrictions on having to choose between the two? If not, does it matter which one I use?

Hello,Today, I'm using the MX25LM51245GXDI00 external flash memory on the demoboard B-U585I-IOT02A to store some data and to retrieve them using STM32CubeProgrammer. In order to do it, after erasing a sector (4K bytes), I configure OCTOSPI2 (dedicated to the flash memory) to memory mapped mode and write a page (256 bytes). Then I have to switch off memory mapped mode and turn it on again after in order to be able to write another page (even if it is in the same sector than previous). So it's quite weird for me, especially that when I'm using cubeProgrammer, I only have to configure the flash memory to memory mapped mode only once to be able to read all external flash memory. Moreover, I've implemented OCTOSPI1 to use with external PSRAM memory APS6408L‑3OB‑BA and for this memory, I can switch octospi1 to memory mapped mode only once in order to be able to write and read all addresses in SRAM.So my question is the following : Is it mandatory to turn on and off the memory mapped for each

Hello,I would like to put many pins on my UFBGA STM32 to ground, and configure in software as input or even better output( must be done correctly first time )But now I am wondering, if I am planning to BOOT processor with BOOT pin high, and use UART as bootloader, does STM32 will initiate any other protocol and try to drive pins that could be connected to ground ? And second question :If I am using UART1 as bootloader, and STM32 has many position to that PIN, how does it know what pin should I bootloader use ? Is there correct single pin for bootloader operation or any USART1 pin would work ?

I recently go the 32F413HDISCOVERY board and downloaded the projects and examples to a local folder and imported it all of it into STM32CubeIDE.In the STM32CubeIDE I was able to open and modify the Test_001 project and blink LED2 and LED3. Next, I wanted to send and receive some text from HyperTerminal on the PC, but it turns out the STM32F4xx_HAL_Driver does not include anything UART related in the Test_001 project. The attached screen shot (Test_001 Drivers.jpg) shows everything in Test_001 \Drivers\STM32F4xx_HAL_Driver\Inc...stm32f4xx_hal_uart.h is missing. How can I enable (bring in) stm32f4xx_hal_uart.h in the Test_001 project?

hey there I have a question: can a micro, say stm32f407 detect low power? for example is there a HAL function to indicate VDD lower that 3.3v?(this way any time that power is going, I can for example save everything before power off)

When generate code via stm32cubeIDE from .ioc ,It Randomly generate line MX_DMA_Init(); Before / After other Module .Problem is, When other module have some DMA config inside , for me ,it ADC , But MX_DMA_Init(); generate after MX_ADC1_Init(); , That mean __HAL_RCC_DMA2_CLK_ENABLE(); and __HAL_RCC_DMA1_CLK_ENABLE(); inside MX_DMA_Init(); not ativate when ADC config DMA inside HAL_ADC_MspInit , Clock for DMA is not enable when ADC DMA config happen, So that configs are void and don't have effect. For me it appear randomly I temperaly fix by add __HAL_RCC_DMA2_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_DMA1_CLK_ENABLE(); in /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */Did we have some way to fixed the other of mx init sequence?Sorry for my english

When we program the any stm32 mcu, we can choice between erase the memory or no in STM32CubeProgrammer. Why in code time we can't write in flash without erasing the memory?

Hello,I'm doing some development work with an STEVAL-IDB011V1 dev board. I'm targeting very low power and so I would like to verify the numbers listed in the datasheet. In DEEPSTOP mode at room temperature, I am expecting something around1 μA of supply current, per table 24 of the BlueNRG-LP datasheet. However, I'm currently measuring about 5.7 μA at 1.8 V.I'd like to make sure my methodology in measuring this is correct. My procedure is as follows:I flash the board with code that runs SystemInit(), configures all GPIOs to have a pulldown resistor and to output low, and then enter DEEPSTOP. I then unplug the board and remove all jumpers (JP1 - JP5). I connect the positive terminal of my 1.8 V power supply to pin 2 of JP1 (named "VBLUE" in the STEVAL-IDB011V1 data brief) and the negative terminal to ground.I get a somewhat steady 5.7 μA of supply current from my power supply. I also tried connecting VBRD to ground, which changes my supply current to 13.8 μA. I'm not running any timers, s

I have two peripherals on my board that I need to communicate with using 3-wire, half-duplex SPI. I have tried every combination of settings I can think of, but I am unable to communicate with either chip.Here is my SPI1 init function:static void MX_SPI1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN SPI1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END SPI1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE BEGIN SPI1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END SPI1_Init 1 */ /* SPI1 parameter configuration*/ hspi1.Instance = SPI1; hspi1.Init.Mode = SPI_MODE_MASTER; hspi1.Init.Direction = SPI_DIRECTION_1LINE; hspi1.Init.DataSize = SPI_DATASIZE_8BIT; hspi1.Init.CLKPolarity = SPI_POLARITY_LOW; hspi1.Init.CLKPhase = SPI_PHASE_1EDGE; hspi1.Init.NSS = SPI_NSS_SOFT; hspi1.Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_64; hspi1.Init.FirstBit = SPI_FIRSTBIT_MSB; hspi1.Init.TIMode = SPI_TIMODE_DISABLE; hspi1.Init.CRCCalculation = SPI_CRCCALCULATION_DISABLE; hspi1.Init.CRCPolynomial = 0x0; hspi1.Init.NSSPMode = SPI_NSS_PULSE_DIS
