I am trying to develop an audio application of my own using stm32f746g disco board.Can somebody share relevant documents which would be helpful for me to start from zero as i am a beginner?

From version 2.11 to 2.12 a change was introduced that results in the programmer reporting that the external loader "cannot be loaded" while loading via stlink v2 via the command line tool.----------------------------------------------------------- STM32CubeProgrammer v2.12.0 -----------------------------------------------------------   Error: External loader <file_name>.stldr cannot be loaded. Press any key to continue . . .The loader has not changed through many versions of the programmer and has been functioning as expected until now. Are there known updates to the loader api or other modifications documented somewhere?The issue came to light after updating to 2.13 from 2.9, after which I was able to narrow down at which release the issue showed up, between 2.11 and 2.12.DeviceSTM32H743IIT6 with and external QSPI flash memory

Hello!After somet tests on Nucleo and Discovery I wan't to make some more complicated and practice project. I'm trying to make WAV file player from microSD card file.Hardware is based on STM32F103RCT6 connected with microSD card socket and DAC (PCM1780).Firstly - using FatFs I'm reading WAV file from microSD card to buffer, Secondly - I'm sending buffer to DAC using DMA in circular mode. When half of buffer is sended I load it from microSD (while second part of buffer is palyed). When second part of buffer is palayed I load first part, etc.Sound is deformed and too slow.When I connect oscilloscope I can see that audio signal is generated only in 1/3 time.When I checked LRCK i SDATA signals - reason is clear.Below you can see the most important code:main.c/* Private variables ---------------------------------------------------------*/ I2S_HandleTypeDef hi2s2; DMA_HandleTypeDef hdma_spi2_tx;   SPI_HandleTypeDef hspi1;   /* Private function prototypes ---------------------------

Hello,Currently I am working on a End Of Line firmware file that runs in RAM that need to be able to test that the antenna in functioning as expected.In other project with BLE we used aci_hal_tone_start() for this is there a similar function for the ZigBee stack. We are using stack version 1.15.0 stm32wb5x_Zigbee_FFD_fw.bin on a STM32WB50We would like to not have to change the stack because that would require flashing the stack again after flashing.With kind regards,Nick Assink

We are writing an Android program to read an ST25TV02KC tag (an ISO 15693 tag), and we cannot use the ST or NXP library. Instead, we need to send protocol commands directly, but the datasheet specifies that CRC check should use CRC_B. As far as we know, CRC_B is mostly used for ISO14443 tags, not ISO15693. Therefore, we want to confirm whether the ST25TV02KC datasheet refers to the CRC_B described in the ISO14443-3 document appendix.

I was able to program two Nucleo-WBA52CG using STM32CubeIDE and the on board ST-Link. I programmed them with the BLE_HeartRateThreadX example application. When I power them I can see the BLE_HeartRateThreadX BLE traffic on my phone. However, I can not reprogram them again using the same setup. I suspect the problem is simple but I really have no idea what is wrong. Any help is appreciated. I get the error below when I try to program them.   ------ Switching to STM32CubeProgrammer ----- [36m[01m     ------------------------------------------------------------------- [39;49m[36m[01m                       STM32CubeProgrammer v2.13.0                  [39;49m[36m[01m     ------------------------------------------------------------------- &n

No GPIOx registers are present in System Viewer for STM32G051 or STM32G061 microcontrollers during debug session. There are 12 different .sfr files for each different variant of STM32G0 microcontroller, but only the above two lack GPIO registers in System Viewer window. Why? What is the magic reason for it, is it just a mistake by ST vendor to not include them or is there another reason? I tested what would happened if I loaded a custom file i.e. STM32G050.sfr instead and I can clearly see the GPIO config and its state being toggled that way. So than the question really is - why is it not included in STM32G051.sfr??? I know that all GPIO registers are memory mapped, but that is not a convenient way to debug whatsoever. I would really appreciate if someone reached out regarding this issue.

For example, I wish to use ADC1 (14 bits max) of STM32U575 at 12 bits, single ended. The datasheet guarantees a minimum of 68 dB for the SINAD, does this figure get reduced from 14 bits to 12 bits? If so, by how much?Thanks,Joel

I have an STM32H7 on a custom board. We do not have VBAT connected to anything. We do have a battery always connected to VDD. When I reset the MCU using the NRST pin it seems like the backup domain (registers and RAM) are not maintained. Is this expected? If I connect my power source to both VDD and VBAT will that correct the problem?The manual does say " If no external battery is used in the application, it is recommended to connect VBAT externally to VDD through a 100 nF external ceramic capacitor.". I plan to do that, but I want to know if the problem I'm experiencing is due to this and will be solved.Thanks,Dan

I am using nucleo STM32WB55RG to build an BLE application. I am having a very weird issue.At first I create an BLE application using CubeMX.I used server profile with custom template enabled (You can refer to attached cubemx file .ioc)The application will start advertising after all setup and init.I used an android phone with nRF Connect installed on it to scan advertising node.When I build and debug bare project (project generated from cubeMX without any modification), android phone can successfully see the device (nucleo stm32wb board) advertising.---> HOWEVER, WHEN I UNPLUGED THE BOARD AND PLUG IT AGAIN (DISCONNECT FROM POWER SOURCE AND CONNECT AGAIN), THE BOARD SENDS ALL DEBUG INFO WITH SUCCESS VIA UART (DEBUG MODE IS ENABLED)BUT THE PHONE CAN NOT SCAN THE BOARD SUCCESSFULLY.--> Additional info: when I program the board with BLE_p2pServer example, the above issue did NOT occur@@Please help me with this problem!!!Thank you very much

Hi all,I am new to motor control, and I am currently working with the BLDC motor driver board STEVAL-SPIN3201 (based on the STSPIN32F0). I am trying to generate the corresponding PWM signals to drive a BLDC motor. Although the low side of the bridge is working, whenever I try to drive the high-side MOSFETs I get a voltage of around 40 mV in the midpoint between the high and low side of the bridge (e.g., OUTU). When looking at the signal through a oscilloscope I get the attached outcome. Does anybody know what the issue could be? Am I missing something in the control logic driver to enable the OPAMPS?Also, when I disable both output compare signals (OC1E, OC1NE), I get a voltage in OUTU of around 11 V (supply is 24 Vdc). Is this correct?Hope that everything is clear.

Hi there!I'm using an STM32F746 disco with an OV9655 camera module. I have already configured all necessary peripherals: LTDC, FMC and DCMI.What I want to do exactly is tell the camera in which buffer I want it to save the image. In the meantime, process the previous image using the CPU. When I finished processing the image, I want to tell the LCD to display it. Maybe it will better br understood if you see this: while (1) { // HAL_Delay(500);  //DCMI->CR |= (1U << 0);  switch (sequence) { case SEQ_1: /* 1- Capture -> Buff_1 */ Take_a_frame( buff_address[0] ); sequence = SEQ_2; break; case SEQ_2: /* 1- Capture -> Buff_2 2- Pocess Buff_1 */ Take_a_frame( buff_address[1] ); processar( ); sequence = SEQ_3; break; case SEQ_3: /* 1- Capture -> Buff_3 2- Process Buff_2 3- Buff_1 -> LCD */ Take_a_frame( buff_address[2] ); processar( ); Show_frame( buff_address[0] ); sequence = SEQ_4; break; case SEQ_4:

According to the user manual (st (dot) com/resource/en/user_manual/um2115-discovery-kit-for-lorawan-sigfox-and-lpwan-protocols-with-stm32l0-stmicroelectronics.pdf), you can optionally close SB13 to get a 32MHz clock signal to the MCU instead of attaching your own external clock. However, when selecting the clock configuration for the STM32L072CZYx the HSE crystal freq is only allowed up to 25MHz and I see similar information in the datasheet for STM32L072xZ (st (dot) com/resource/en/datasheet/stm32l072cz.pdf). Maybe I am just misunderstanding but it sure seems like the intent is for the TXCO to be routed to the PHY_OSC_IN pin on the MCU in some applications, but the MCU is only rated for 25MHz

I build SBSFU using X-CUBE extension for STM32F769I-DISCO. Flashed the "SBSFU_UserApp.bin" file using STM32CubeProgrammer. Now I need to send UserApp.sfb file via YMODEM without using Tera TermI used,stty -F /dev/ttyACM0 115200 sb UserApp.sfb >/dev/ttyACM0 </dev/ttyACM0Is there any extra parameters to be mentioned or is there any other way without using tera term?

Hello,we want to read VREFINT to make our ADC measurements more accurate.But the EOC bit is never set when selecting the ADC_CHANNEL_VREFINT channel.PCLK2 is at 108MHz but ADC prescaler and sampling cycles are at max. so we assume there is no problem with the min. 10us sampling time.The code below works for normal channels.void MX_ADC1_Init(void) { hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV8; hadc1.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc1.Init.ScanConvMode = ADC_SCAN_DISABLE; hadc1.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SINGLE_CONV; hadc1.Init.ContinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.NbrOfConversion = 1; hadc1.Init.DiscontinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConv = ADC_SOFTWARE_START; hadc1.Init.ExternalTrigConvEdge = ADC_EXTERNALTRIGCONVEDGE_NONE; hadc1.Init.DMAContinuousRequests = DISABLE; if (HAL_ADC_Init(&hadc1) != HAL_OK) Error_Handler(); }   uint8_t MX_ADC_Read(ADC_HandleTypeDef *hadc, uint32_t channel, uint32_t *val) { A
