Hi @Cchen.1 ,

Maybe the problem is due to the accuracy of the measurement instrument you used to measure the dimension. For that, I advise you to refer to this post.

Hello @Cchen.1 ,

You can fin the STM32F746IEK6 MCU dimension in the datasheet and precisely in 6.7 UFBGA 176+25, 10 x 10 x 0.65 mm ultra thin-pitch ball grid array package information Section.

Also, you can refer to table Table 120. in the datasheet to find the tolerance value for the different dimensions.

Thanks Kaouthar, According to table 120, The maximum thickness of A should be 0.6mm while we measured several pieces all excess 0.6mm. is that normal?

Hi @Cchen.1 ,

The A value should be between 0.460mm and 0.600mm.

To check this issue, can you please share the chip photo of your STM32F746IEK6 MCU.

hi Kaouthar

here's the picture. btw just curious A1 is 0.05-0.11 , A2 is 0.4-0.5 ,A = A1+A2 , then A=(0.05+0.4-0.11+0.5)=0.45 -0.61 which is against 0.46mm-0.6mm,
