Hello,I am working on a SPC560P Discovery Board.I have imported test application 'SPC560Pxx RLACAN Test Application for Discovery' for FlexCAN testing. In this FlexCAN0 is used in loop back mode and it is working. But after disabling loop back mode,I cant see any data on the CAN_TX pin with scope.I configured the:b[0] as CAN0TXD output and b[1] as CAN0RXD input in the pinmap wizardDisable loopback modeEnable FlexCAN0 Use External ClockSet: PressDive =3 , PropSeg=2 , PSEG1=4 , PSEG2=7After i start the application the program gets stuck in the transmit while loop:while (can_lld_transmit(&CAND1,txmailbox, &txmsg)==CAN_MSG_WAIT){ }??????Its seems like that thecan_lld_is_tx_empty function returns FALSE and it breaks the can_lld_transmit function. Is the mailbox needs any additional configuration or I configured the CAN clock incorrectly? Thanks for your help and sorry for the the lot questions but I am new to 32bit controller programmi

I am using the CORDIC on an STM32G4 for a project and was curious about the difference in performance based on the compiler optimization level. With no optimizations, LL_CORDIC_FUNCTION_PHASE completed in 113 cycles. With O1 optimizations, LL_CORDIC_FUNCTION_PHASE completed in 31 cycles.I'm a bit confused by the huge disparity in execution times with and without optimization. Since the trig calculations occur in the CORDIC hardware, I wouldn't think that optimizations would have any effect. Additionally, the LL CORDIC function calls are simply inlines that access the peripheral registers, I wouldn't think there would be much to optimize there either.I took a look at the generated assembly and while I don't fully understand it, it seems that the difference is primarily in additional debug features. This makes sense, but I would like some confirmation that this is the case. Thanks. g_start_time = SysTick->VAL;   LL_CORDIC_WriteData(hcordic.Instance, cordic_input[0]); LL_CORDIC_

I have a project using ThreadX, NetX, and FileX. The NetX and FileX code generation is initializing at least one instance but nothing in ThreadX. I can create it but it is a little concerning that in the init there is only:UINT App_ThreadX_Init(VOID *memory_ptr) { UINT ret = TX_SUCCESS; /* USER CODE BEGIN App_ThreadX_MEM_POOL */   /* USER CODE END App_ThreadX_MEM_POOL */   /* USER CODE BEGIN App_ThreadX_Init */   /* USER CODE END App_ThreadX_Init */   return ret; }where in the other filex and netx sections there is significant initialization. My fear is that I have not checked off something correctly in cubeMX, and later on it may decide to create code that duplicates my efforts.Did I miss something?Using:STM32CubeIDEVersion: 1.12.1Build: 16088_20230420_1057 (UTC)with embedded STM32CubeMX   6.8.1.202304191431OS: Linux (LMint 21 - Cinnamon)

Hi coomunity.. Very easy question this time.. Is this development board ok for testing a custom bootloader from usb for updating fw from a text file inside the usb ? https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/32f429idiscovery.html

Hi,Could someone plz point me example code on how to use Brown Out Reset or Voltage supervisor to monitor Vdd voltage, if it's less than some value, I can reset mcu.

the revision history shows they are now hidden from the user guide which seems a little pointless.the nucleo 32 user guide has them

I cant debug because I have some errors NO TARGET CONNECTİON AND DLL

Hi,We are working on STM32MP151, with custom linux, no PMIC.We have a reset button connect to NRST line, it works fine in Uboot or during linux boots. But right after the login prompt occurs, the reset button is nolonger work. When we hit the button, system seems crashed, no response from command prompt. We have to disconnect power and reconnect again.Does anyone have experience with it?many thanks.

When I build the D:\Desktop\stm32Cube\en.x-cube-aws-v1-4-2\STM32CubeExpansion_Cloud_AWS_V1.4.2\Projects\B-L475E-IOT01A , it show me the error:d:\app\stm32cube\stm32cubeide_1.12.1\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.10.3-2021.10.win32_1.0.200.202301161003\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: cannot use executable file '../../../../../BootLoader_OSC/2_Images_SBSFU/SW4STM32/B-L475E-IOT01_2_Images_SBSFU/Debug\se_interface_app.o' as input to a link.Though I add the .o into to PATH, it still error. How to deal with it?And the demo package is download from st.

i don't speak englishI use google translator.But I have a question.I am a student.I want to make a car cluster.I'm thinking stm32f1170-evk.Can I test with stm32f1170-evk?Please recommend another evk board.thank you

Hi, I want to debug OP-TEE on STM32 MPU board.Using 'st_stm32mp157f_dk2_demo_defconfig' configuration of STM32MP1 Buildroot external tree(buildroot-external-st), We indirectly confirmed that OP-TEE is built and ran normally on the board with Buildroot.I would like to customize the code in optee-os using the APIs provided by OP-TEE. Before I do that, I'd like to try to print out whether the code works at a certain point in time and the results of the modified code using the OP-TEE API and track the function calls.I followed the OP-TEE official document, but the debug log is not captured. In addition, the document only guides you on how to track function calls. Then, while reading the [How to debug OP-TEE] page on the STM32MP1 Wiki(wiki/How_to_debug_OP-TEE), I realized that the debug log is printed on the OP-TEE console(Marked by the cursor in the attached picture). So what I'm curious about are two things.1) Where do the OP-TEE debug results go? (What is an OP-TEE console?)2) Is the

Hello,I made a special card design that includes LSM6DSO32. I want to use this sensor in motion classification project. I want to ask a question about a subject that is said by everyone but I do not know. Everyone has mentioned that it is necessary to perform a calibration process to get the correct data from an IMU. However, the LSM6DSO32 sensor's user manual states that it comes calibrated from the factory. Do I need to calibrate this sensor extra? If yes, how should I do this for accelometer and gyro?I read an article about the need to subtract the gyro values from the new gyro values by averaging at the stationary position, is this a correct way to calibrate?I do not know how to calibrate the accelometer. I need help on how to calibrate both gyro and accelometer values.Without doing any calibration, I set, the gyro is 1000 dps and accel is 8G and the sampling frequency of both to 104 Hz. The values I measured under these conditions are as in the picture. The IMU sensor's&n

why this mismatch in this or did i get confused? please help me with this. i want to connect user led port to external led

The documentation for the I2C interfaces on the STM32H747_CM7 board says:<name>SADD0</name> <description>Slave address bit 0 (master mode) In 7-bit addressing mode (ADD10 = 0): This bit is dont care In 10-bit addressing mode (ADD10 = 1): This bit should be written with bit 0 of the slave address to be sent Note: Changing these bits when the START bit is set is not allowed.</description> <bitOffset>0</bitOffset>This documentation is also appears in RM0399 rev 3 page 2182. (I'd like, but it says new members can't link). The ProblemThe problem is that documentation suggests that for 7-bit addressing, bit 0 is "don't care", and that the 7-bit slave address should be written to bits 1:7. However, in my experience this does not work. To make the code work I need to write the 7-bit slave address to bits 0:6 (which seems more natural anyway, I mean, why skip the first bit?). Writing to bits 0:6 is also what the STM32CubeIDE does as is shown by its `I2C_CR2_SA

I have an analog circuit that is read by an ADC input. I would like to have a self-diagnostic function where I inject a known signal to the input of that circuit with the DAC for a self test, then disconnect the DAC from the pin and leave the pin in analog mode for normal operation. I would like the pin to be in a high impedance state so as not to affect the circuit during normal use. What would be the best way to do this?My thought is to switch from:sConfig.DAC_ConnectOnChipPeripheral = DAC_CHIPCONNECT_EXTERNAL;tosConfig.DAC_ConnectOnChipPeripheral = DAC_CHIPCONNECT_INTERNAL;with a HAL_DAC_ConfigChannel call after my diagnostic completes.

The approach described on the official XCUBE-AI documentation is not working for my case.

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone here has worked with the ISM330DLC IMU and was able to get positional displacement from it? I am trying to do this for one of my projects, but have run into drift issue. Any help is most appreciated! Thanks!Thank you,Imran

Hi,I am using the LSM6DSOX and ISM330DHCX in FIFO mode at 52 Hz or 208 Hz. For 52 Hz the real frequency turns out to be about 48.57 Hz, and proportionally so for 208 Hz. I am confirming this through the number of samples collected between GPS fixes and when comparing a signal against another type of sensor. The observed frequency is stable at this rate.Could this be real or is there something wrong in my application? The FIFO is checked using an RTC and is never allowed to run full (the overflow, full, overflow_latched) bits are checked. I drain (pop) the number of samples available at the RTC interrupt, but do not reset it. Does operating the FIFO or draining it halt the FIFO or reduce the number of samples?I observe the same both with the LSM6DSOX and the ISM330DHCX.IMU configuration: github.com/gauteh/sfy/blob/main/sfy-buoy/src/waves/mod.rs#L231FIFO drain function: github.com/gauteh/sfy/blob/main/sfy-buoy/src/waves/mod.rs#L395Best regards, Gaute

Every project generated from TouchGFX Designer is based on C++ (file .cpp). Is there a possibility to have project generated from TouchGFX Designer based on C only (file .c)?Also are there any examples from TouchGFX Designer where the codes are in C?
