The ADC counts returned by the internal temperature sensor appear to depend on the sampling frequency.  In other words, it looks like the temperature sensor can be read too fast (with or without oversampling) to give incorrect temperature readings.   Is there a specification somewhere on the maximum sampling frequency you can use with the internal temperature sensor?   I'm having trouble finding it.Thank you,--b

I'm looking at using the MX25L3233F for flash storage.  This is a serial NOR device.  It appears to support QuadSPI, but it also appears to support regular SPI:"MX25L3233F features a serial peripheral interface and software protocol allowing operation on a simple 3-wirebus while it is in single I/O mode. The three bus signals are a clock input (SCLK), a serial data input (SI), and aserial data output (SO). Serial access to the device is enabled by CS# input"I'm planning on using this with an STM32G03 series, which does not support QuadSPI, but does support SPI.Am I being too naïve to think I can use this as a regular SPI device and just use it for storage?

Hi,I have been able to use the option bytes to configure the Nucleo-G0B1RE to jump straight into the ROM bootloader on powerup and I can see the DFU on Cube Programmer, however on our target board with a G0B0 using the same user option bytes settings I have not been able to get it to come up on the computer. I have been able to use a simple virtual com port project to verify that USB is working on the target board. What could be causing the bootloader DFU to fail to enumerate, or cause the bootloader to not run in the first place?

Hello Community,We are using MEMS OScillator for the clock source for STM32G474 MCU. And are unsure if we can use the OSC_OUT pin as a GPIO pin when using the MCU in Clock Source BYPASS mode. The datasheet mentions we can, I, however, would like to confirm once if this pin needs to be left unconnected, grounded or can be used as GPIO without any issues. The function set for the GPIO on this pin shall be for RESET and similar infrequent signals.Looking forward for valuable insights.

Hello, As I am testing the code, I don't require -fcyclomatic-complexity option that is mentioned in Properties->C/C++ Build->Settings->MCU GCC Compiler->All options.  But I could not edit this column how can I remove this  -fcyclomatic-complexity. I have attached the screenshot of the same below. Thanks & Regards,Monika

Hello Team ST,I would like to have your guidance on setting a FSM for wrist tilt application. At the moment, we use following FSM settings as per the code here.Link: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Standard_C_drivers/blob/v2.00/lsm6dso_STdC/examples/lsm6dso_fsm.cNow, we would like to use Accelerometer only version of the FSM as provided here:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Finite_State_Machine/blob/master/application_examples/lsm6dso/Wrist-Tilt%20detection%20(accelerometer%20only)/lsm6dso_wrist_tilt_xl.ucfI tested this .UCF file in UNICO application and it works fine. Then, I tried to translate the provided array in the similar fashion as shown below. But, this is not working. Can you tell me how to implement Accelerometer-based wrist tilt .UCF file to my code?Kind regards,Aakash Soni.

HI all i have been working in stm32L072CBT6 controller i have the code to read the adc multiple channel and i can read the values for different channels individually by using separate code for each channel but if im reading all the four channels altogether the the value in one channel is reflecting in all the channels. And i have also checked whether the voltage in each channel is same and found that all the values are different though im getting the same values for example channel1 values reflecting in channel 0 any thought on this issue kindly share me. I have attached the code below.static void MX_ADC1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 0 */   ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 1 */ /** Configure the global features of the ADC (Clock, Resolution, Data Alignment and number of conversion) */ hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.ClockPres

I am using stm32 g071 and what I have done in the code is to toggle pin and send the value through adc and finally output through dac. Theoretically, the GPIO output and DAC output should be simultaneous but due to processing time and all, there will be delay, however, in this case, this is inverted. Could anyone help me explain this behavior?In the picture, the blue signal is from GPIO pin from MCU and red signal is the adc signal converted to dac.  void TIM2_IRQHandler(void) { if (TIM2->SR & TIM_SR_UIF) { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_6); adc = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1); DAC1->DHR12R1 = adc; TIM2->SR = ~TIM_SR_UIF; /* Clear all interrupts */ } }

I am developing a new project for the STM32G474 processor using the STM32G474E-EVAL1 board but am having a problem with FDCAN. I have two issues:1. I configure FDCAN and use the function HAL_FDCAN_AddMessageToTxFifoQ but the queue quickly fills up and no CAN transmission takes place. I have verified the physical connection and cable termination.2. I set up a receive filter to accept all incoming messages and send them to RX FIFO 0, and I activate notifications with HAL_FDCAN_ActivateNotification using the argument FDCAN_IT_RX_FIFO0_NEW_MESSAGE, but I never get a CAN interrupt when messages are sent from the host. I am using a CAN analyzer to verify that the messages are sent.I am using Normal mode CAN at 125Kbps.Here is the STM32CubeMX generated code and the filter I set up:/*** @brief FDCAN1 Initialization Function* @PAram None* @retval None*/static void MX_FDCAN1_Init(void){/* USER CODE BEGIN FDCAN1_Init 0 *//* USER CODE END FDCAN1_Init 0 *//* USER CODE BEGIN FDCAN1_Init 1 *//*

After enable ADC in Cubemx, it is better if HAL_PWREx_EnableVddA() added automatically.

I'm looking into using the VL53L7CX on a board designed for the VL53L5CX. I expected it to be a drop-in replacement on the hardware side with only a change in software needed (using the L7CX API instead of the L5CX API), but when I compared the two APIs (current versions L5CX 1.3.9 and L7CX 1.2.8), ignoring all the instances of "VL53L5CX" changing to "VL53L7CX", I can find no substantial differences at all, and in fact the L7CX seems to work just fine with the L5CX API. Can an ST engineer confirm that the two APIs are functionally identical and interchangeable at this point? Also, is there a way to tell the two sensors apart via I2C? As far as I can tell, they share the same I2C address and the contents of their identification registers are the same; is there something else that can be used to distinguish them other than visual inspection of the IC?

Hello,I am currently using the SDK for this evaluation board to read the RSSI for my single tag withing a frequency bandwidth. my problem is that this process with my C# code takes like a minute and is not real time.in further details here is my code for each frequency:{demo_SetupGen2Config( true, false, STUHFL_D_USED_ANTENNA.ANTENNA_1, STUHFL_D_TUNING_ALGO.FAST)for (int cnt = 0; cnt < number_of_mean_rounds; cnt++) { inventory.execute();STUHFL_T_InventoryTag tag = inventory.tagList[0];rssilinI_cnt = (int)tag.rssilinI;rssilinQ_cnt = (int)tag.rssilinq;}}// end of codeNow can you help how to improve speed of my code? for example can I use frequency hopping mode for reading RSSI ?or is there anything I can do just for setting frequency instead of calling the SetupGen2Config function for each frequency?or is there other option for reading tags other than inventory.execute() that can do 10 times reading (for averagig) faster and allow me to read the RSSI from it?warm regard

used STUHFL (ST25RU3993) to scan for RFID tags, and attempted to calculate reflect phase using real-time values of 'rssiLinI' and 'rssiLinQ' with the 'inventory' function, which was time-consuming.I utilized the CS demo of STUHFL to work with the ST25RU3993. To scan for all RFID tags, I executed the 'inventory.execute()' command. My objective was to choose a single tag and compute the reflect phase using the real-time values of 'rssiLinI' and 'rssiLinQ'. Currently, I'm employing the 'inventory' function to measure 'rssiLinI' and 'rssiLinQ', but this function is time-consuming and the final outcome is not immediately available.I would appreciate it if you could provide me with any code snippets, examples, or comprehensive documentation related to the ST SDK, as I'm not well-versed with this particular SDK.

I'm trying to to generate a PWM signal on a GPIO without PWM capability on a STM32F47. To achieve this, I want to have a timer triggered DMA transfer to the GPIO BSRR register.Looking at the bus matrix, it seems that I need to use the DMA2 controller to transfer memory to the GPIO registers, because the GPIOs are on the AHB1 bus. Is this correct? If I want to use the DMA2 controller, I guess I need to look at the streams in the DMA2 request mapping. From there it seems that I can only use TIM1 and TIM8 to trigger DMA transfers to the GPIO peripherals. Is this correct - or do I have more flexibility?

I am using the RTC of the STM32L4 Discovery board and have noticed that the sub-seconds are counting down. Is there anyone with an idea on how to resolve this issue?

Hi,I successfully configured the transceiver RX mode with RX always ON.Now I'm trying to use Sniff mode. Basically I copied the example from S2LP DK.   // Below the code relevant for sniff mode. Initial radio, packet and address // configuration is done the same for RX and TX S2LPGpioIrqDeInit(NULL); S2LPGpioIrqConfig(RX_DATA_READY, S_ENABLE); // this line is not from the example. // but without additional IRQs the S2LP ends up in the SLEEP_NO_FIFO S2LPGpioIrqConfig(RX_SNIFF_TIMEOUT, S_ENABLE); SRssiInit xSRssiInit = { .cRssiFlt = 14, .xRssiMode = RSSI_STATIC_MODE, .cRssiThreshdBm = -70, }; S2LPRadioRssiInit(&xSRssiInit); S2LPGpioIrqClearStatus(); S2LPCmdStrobeFlushRxFifo(); /* set the LDC mode wkup */ S2LPTimerSetWakeUpTimerUs(1000*MIN_PERIOD_WAKEUP); /* set the rx timeout */ S2LPTimerSetRxTimerUs(30000); /* use SLEEP_A mode (default) */ S2LPTimerSleepB(S_DISABLE); /* enable LDC mode, FAST RX TERM and start Rx */ S2LPTimerLdcrMode(S_ENA

Can anyone tell me how to understand the following parameter out of the AIS2DW12 datasheet.Zero-g level offset accuracy, long term: ± 700mgWhen i use the sensor with a resolution of ± 2g, then I hope there ist not the possibility that the offset will drift this far.

Hello everyone! I am working on a small prototype based on the STM32MP157F-DK2 development board. For convenience, I want to use a GPIO Connector compatible with the Raspberry Pi to power the board (CN2) instead of the USB Type-C (CN6). I have an expansion module that successfully powers the Raspberry Pi through the GPIO connector (pin 2, 4), but it cannot provide power to the STM32MP157F-DK2 board. The kernel doesn't start up, and an error message appears, indicating the lack of proper power and suggesting the use of power supplies with a 3A current. My module can provide up to 3 amps, which is equivalent to the output of my power adapter that I use to supply power to the board via USB Type-C. I even conducted an experiment and routed the power from the expansion module to the USB Type-C connector (CN6), successfully powering the board, which indicates that the power source is working correctly. Is it possible to power the STM32MP157F-DK2 board through the GPIO connector? If yes, what

hiI do the ENTDAA protocol use this codeif (HAL_I3C_Ctrl_DynAddrAssign_IT(&hi3c1, 0) != HAL_OK){/* Error_Handler() function is called when error occurs. */Error_Handler();} In below picture , I get the ENTDAA Protocol, but After protocol there should be repect start and do End DAA procedure waveform. It always keep  ,pull up high after a few seconds.(ref three pic.How can I do it?End DAA procedure waveformBelow picture is all protocol , no End DAA procedure waveform

I used the NUCLEO‑H503Rb and X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 boards to do the I3C protocol sample to get the sensor data on X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 boards.I use the I3C sample program in STM32CubeIDE 1.13.0When I press the USER button on the board, and I get the following waveform ,I want ask why nack?I alreadly check the X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 boards voltage and sensor voltage is 3.3V and 1.8V,or have any other must chek?Has any engineer encountered this problem? or some one can help me ,thanks

IT IS WORKING WELL , I NEED INSIGHT ON HOW I COULD RESET THE STEP VALUE TO ZERO ON THE BUTTON INTERRUPT

Hello! I would like to check if the SPI read and write protocols in mode 1 are the same as those in mode 3 (as suggested on the datasheet). If they're different, may I know what the differences are?Thank you!
