This is my complaint about the st.com website. This site is a usability nightmare. It is completely spammend with trackers and analytics, loading tons javascript from almost everywhere, it became practically unusable.e.g.: I needed almost 30 minutes to find a deep link to the current version of the CubeIDE windows installer. The CubeIDE landing page is bloated by such an extent with tracker and analytics javascript, blocking each other, if one is blocked by my brower, i was litteraly not able to click on the download button, because it vanished after logging in.Pardon my french, but this sucks completely. I understand you want to do analytics, but if the user blocks those trackers, because of trust issues, then the site should work without them.Thank you for your attention</rant>

Hello everyone,I am trying to apply the hello world example from stm32MP1 workshop. everything works fine for me. However, when I try to run the application inside stm32mp1 it shows me this message. version `GLIBC_2.34' not found.I tried to install newer version of GLIBC but without any suncess.could you please tell what to do here.

Hi When transferring a Type-v signal at 26kbps and at 53kbps, what is the frequency bandwidth/spectrum of these 2 signals? This helps me to set the bandwidth of the baseband amplifier in the reader correctly. Thank you.

Stats:STM32CubeIDEVersion: 1.13.2Build: 18220_20230914_1601 (UTC) Windows 10 Enterprise I have a project using STM32H743 and Azure RTOS, ThreadX, NetX, and FileX.In the NetX portion during initialization of the netx thread, the code performs initiation of the LAN8742 device. Here is the call stack tree in the debugger:The hard fault occurs on line 131 in the lan8742.c code which is :if(pObj->IO.WriteReg(pObj->DevAddr, LAN8742_BCR, LAN8742_BCR_SOFT_RESET) >= 0)The Status registers show:The fault is 100% repeatable. The fault appeared after adding some code to a completely unrelated sectionand the fault happens prior to any of the added code being executed. As far as I can tellThe only difference is that the added code has pushed the LAN8742.c code alittle farther down in the flash. I also noticed that some of the printf()'s for debug alsocause issues like mem faults and have to be commented out. I am not finished experimentationwith what causes the hard fault in the Lan

Our board is using STM32MP15 and doesn't use PMIC, when we try poweroff command, it seems to work but after around 30 seconds, the board reset automatically.During this time, I see power consumption just goes down a little bit.Does anyone have same issue or something like this?

I'm a big fan of STMicro and have used several of their Dev and Eval boards with no issues.A couple of weeks ago I got an email from ST about the new module. I looked at the videos and ordered one right away because I wanted to get it in time for the Webinar. The webinar was a disaster; way too much information with no time to take any notes. I figured I'd just watch it at my leisure later on but it was taken down in a couple of hours. So I started again with the Entry Mode video. The website said to download the ST BLE Sensor App which I did. The dice demo worked perfectly. At 1:10 into the video it said "Switch the box on and open the ST BLE Sensor Classic App on your phone" So I downloaded that and was able to follow the video then at 2:42 in the video it says to "Click on the Play button", I had to wait for a bit to scan for my board and then I clicked play. At 2:55 On the Overwrite board warning display I clicked OK. And then got "Error Board scanning has timed out. Exit the App a

Hello,I have a Riverdi screen with an embedded stm32H7. When I am trying to flash with the st-link the code to the screen I am getting this error. I need to mention that I didn't got this error before and the Makefile is auto generated. Could anyone help me to solve this problem? make[3]: *** No rule to make target 'CM7/TouchGFX/build/Riverdi_70STM32H7/Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32h7xx_hal_adc.o', needed by 'CM7/TouchGFX/build/bin/target.elf'. Stop.Thank you in advance

Hi, I have been using PWM with DMA in one project with register-level programming, there i could find the RAM usage was around 28% and the ROM usage was hardly 0.5%. The similar application project when i tried with using HAL API's, I found the RAM usage was 6% and ROM usage was 3%. So i don't understand how there is so much difference when i use HAL over register level programming. At the same time using more of RAM is better or utilization of ROM is better?

We have a design with a menu implementation that uses texts in multiple places with potentially different typographies (the translated text is used for menu entries, headings or keyboard edit screens). Example: We have a parameter "Modbus Address" which has a menu entry with "Typography 1". When entering the menu, the keyboard pops up with the title "Modbus Address" with "Typography 1 bold". The issue is that the TouchGFX generator only generates the glyphs for the selected typography of the text resource but not for other typographies the text can be potentially used with. Now with the use of wildcard ranges this is easy for latin and other character sets with a relatively small number of character. But with chinese or similar languages, I would need to include >20k chars in the wildcard ranges in order to have all characters at hand which bloats the image to 10x the actual required size.Is there a possibility to solve the issue other than having a translation text multiple ti

Hi,   I have been using STM-STUDIO-STM32 for moitoring the real time variable while motor running without disturbing the program.  MCU used - Stm32F103c8t6 Debugger used - st-link v2 Software used - Stm-stdio  - The stm-stdio is get stopped while debugging and ended up with  showing the following error code: ''Acquisition stopped after 10 consecutive communications error'' @while motor is on loaded condition. - @Motor no loaded condition stm-studio seems fine. - Does any other software or debugging tool (for stm32) is available to monitor the real time variable for motor control.

Hello everyone. I need help with single pulse mode stepper motor control. I am using motor control driver tb6600 and nema 17 stepper motor. Can you help with this?

Hi All,I am trying to get my Nucleo-U575ZI-Q to receive low level USART data using DMA. I have set it up to be a circular buffer in the IOC file but everytime I receive 1024 bytes for example after that it won't receive anything. When I call LL_DMA_GetBlkDataLength it gives me the space in the DMA buffer left and once it hits 0 it stays at 0. Instead of rolling around back to 1024. Attached is the settings for my USART1 Rx using DMA channel 0.Any other info required please ask.Thanks.

Is there any way to store SVG images in external flash, similiar to how PNGs can be stored there?

I'm working on an audio-processing application with the STM32MP157F-DK2 discovery board. While evaluating the hardware, I built and installed the system using the distribution package. I used the following command to record sound via the 3.5mm audio jack:arecord -D record_codec -f S16_LE -d 10 /tmp/rec.wavAfter examining the resulting file, it seems like the board was unable to capture any sound from the 3.5mm audio jack input (which I connected to an AKG headphone that has a microphone). The only thing I can hear is some background noise (and it is still the case even if I use SSH to transfer the recorded file to my computer and play it back there, so it can't be the output issue).Any insight for recording audio on this board? Thanks a lot.

Hi All,I wanted to move from STM32F401 to a ECC enabled MCU and came across the STM32U575/585 series. Is it possible to in place use the QFN48 package for stm32u575 in place of stm32f401?. The pinouts/ports/power pins all look to be the same. are there any red flags? Please help with your expert advice!Regards,Nilav

HelloI want to build an In-Ear Monitor system for performing music live. This system gets an audio signal from a sound card. Transmits it wirelessly (around 865MHz) to a bodypack receiver and plays the audio with virtually no delay.I stumbled upon the NUCLEO-WL55JC1 Development board, which I thought may can do what I need on the RF and DSP part.I was however curious if anyone can tell me if I can connect two units, make a digital modulation, transmit from one unit to the other, demodulate the signal and play it from an audio unit with virtually no delay. I'm hesitant about ordering a couple of units as I think their intended purpose is less critical about small delays. :)Thanks in advance!- Kenney

hello?I am trying to perform BLDC position control using STSPIN830(X-NUCLEO-IHM16M1)+ NUCLEO-F072RB and MotorControl Workbench 6.1.2.Position control is MC_ProgramPositionCommandMotor1(). It can be controlled with a function, but how should the go_home() function be implemented to set the origin? This function is essential for project progress.help me !!!Thank you in advance.

I’m working on a project that uses an STM32H745IIK6. Occasionally, 32-bit SPI read data was invalid. This happened in about one out of every two hundred reads. To track down the cause, I added a few lines of code to toggle a GPIO pin as a scope trigger. What I found was unexpected. Trace 1 is the invalid data detect toggle. Trace 2 is the SPI chip select. (firmware controlled GPIO pin) Trace 3 is the SPI clock. Trace 4 is the chip select for a second SPI device that uses the same port. Trace 2 shows that the misread was caused by a delayed chip select. And trace 4 shows that the chip select disable for the second device was also delayed. An interrupt routine handles the chip select and starts the SPI send/receive.void SPI2_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN SPI2_IRQn 0 */ LL_GPIO_SetOutputPin(GPIOB, LL_GPIO_PIN_11); // SPI2 CS2_N high, disable ReadData = LL_SPI_ReceiveData32(SPI2); // read LL_SPI_DisableIT_RXP(SPI2); // disable SPI2 interrupts LL_GPIO_ResetOutputPin(GPIOB, LL_GPI

Hello, I am trying to find reliability data (specifically MTBF and FIT) for the FERD20H100S. If anyone knows where to find it or could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.Thank you,-M

Hi,On a STM32 F7, I would like to lock access to the FLASH_CR by writing a wrong key to the FLASH_KEYR register. Writing a wrong key results in a bus fault (disabling the bus fault raises it to a hard fault).Could someone help me with a way to write a wrong key to FLASH_KEYR and mask the bus fault? I do not want to mask all bus faults (just this once when writing the wrong key).__set_FAULTMASK(1);FLASH->KEYR = 0;SCB->SHCSR &= ~SCB_SHCSR_BUSFAULTPENDED_Msk;__set_FAULTMASK(0);This only works when stepping through a debugger but not in the regular cases.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Hello,I am developing a USB PD sink application on custom board with STM32G0B1VETI am using periphery UCPD2. I followed AN5418 to set up eveyrthing in CubeMX and add the specified pieces of code.Hovewer, ithe USBPD stack doesn't seem to send or recieve anything on the CC1 or CC2 lines. I have confirmed with oscilloscope, data is flowing to the MCU CC2 pin, but nothing seem to happen inside the USB stack. This is as far as it gets:With a sniffer device, I can see the power supply sending source capabilities, but these packets are nowhere to be seen when logging the application. This leads me to believe, the USB PD stack isn't getting the data.Any ideas where to look for the problem? I have followed the instrucions and I can't see how this could be a electricall issue. Firmware package is STM32Cube FW_G0 V1.6.1Thank you for any help

I was just told that I've reached a limit of 1000 uploaded images.Now what?JW
