Hello,I am trying to optimize a TouchGFX project to see if I can fit it all in a 1 MB internal flash (stm32h725agi6).The design our graphic designers have come up with are requiring the same image, but two different sizes. This leaves two options:1) Store two static images in the flash2) Store one scalable image in the flashI'm having a hard time deciding because I cannot find information on the memory allocation for the Scalable Image feature in TouchGFX. Can someone please explain how this is done?

HiI try to implement the read protection on my STM32F44 board based on this example:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-change-the-read-out-protection-on-stm32f4/ta-p/49410In principle, it works, but I have some strange behavior. My code:if (level == 0x00 || level == 0x01) { FLASH_OBProgramInitTypeDef pOBInit = { 0 }; HAL_FLASHEx_OBGetConfig(&pOBInit); pOBInit.Banks = FLASH_BANK_1; pOBInit.OptionType = OPTIONBYTE_RDP; if (level == 0x00) { new_level = OB_RDP_LEVEL_0; } else { new_level = OB_RDP_LEVEL_1; } if (new_level != pOBInit.RDPLevel) { do { //Unlock flash status = HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); //Unlock flash option sections status = HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock(); pOBInit.RDPLevel = new_level; status = HAL_FLASHEx_OBProgram(&pOBInit); //Triggers a reset status = HAL_FLASH_OB_Launch(); HAL_FLASH_OB_Lock(); HAL_FLASH_Lock(); printLogWarning(halToCANxError(status), "Writing flash read protection failed"); return 0; } while (0); //Something failed,

On STM32F4 has this and it is very easy to use. Does STM32MP15 -M4 MCU have same one?

Hello, i'm currently working on the stm32mp135f-dk with the kirkstone yocto version for layers provided by st. I am using hrtim to trigger the adc, but if the regular channel is not triggered with hrtim, it doesn't go into the interrupt of the ADC properly, I checked a lot of information and didn't find a solution, here is my code and cubemx configuration: NVIC_SetPriority(HRTIM1_TIMC_IRQn, NVIC_EncodePriority(NVIC_GetPriorityGrouping(),0, 0)); NVIC_EnableIRQ(HRTIM1_TIMC_IRQn); NVIC_SetPriority(HRTIM1_FLT_IRQn, NVIC_EncodePriority(NVIC_GetPriorityGrouping(),4, 0)); NVIC_EnableIRQ(HRTIM1_FLT_IRQn); LL_HRTIM_SetSyncInSrc(HRTIM1, LL_HRTIM_SYNCIN_SRC_TIM_EVENT); LL_HRTIM_ConfigDLLCalibration(HRTIM1, LL_HRTIM_DLLCALIBRATION_MODE_CONTINUOUS, LL_HRTIM_DLLCALIBRATION_RATE_3); LL_HRTIM_ConfigADCTrig(HRTIM1, LL_HRTIM_ADCTRIG_2, LL_HRTIM_ADCTRIG_UPDATE_TIMER_D, LL_HRTIM_ADCTRIG_SRC24_TIMDCMP2|LL_HRTIM_ADCTRIG_SRC24_TIMDRST); LL_HRTIM_SetADCPostScaler(HRTIM1, LL_HRTIM_ADCTRIG_2, 0x0); LL_HRTIM_ConfigADCTrig(HRTIM1, LL_HRTIM_ADCTRIG_3, LL_HRTIM_ADCTRIG_UPDATE_TIMER_D, LL_HRTIM_ADCTRIG_SRC13_TIMDCMP3

Hello. I apologize in advance for any mistakes, as English is not my native language. I've encountered a problem: I have a custom container named ContainerAddTab, which contains a ScrollableContainer element, named scrollableContainer1. Into this element, I insert ProgramTab tabs named programTab. A problem occurs when adding more than 5 tabs. The spacing between the tabs begins to increase and reaches the width of the screen. This behavior is always the same and does not change. What could be the problem? ProgramTab::ParamsTab& params = ProgramTab::getStruct(); tab.setWidth(params.tabWidth); tab.setHeight(params.tabHeight); if (programTabs.size() - 1 > 0) { tab.setCoords(__TAB_START_X + params.tabWidth * (programTabs.size() - 1) + params.spacing * (programTabs.size() - 1), __TAB_START_Y); } else { tab.setCoords(__TAB_START_X, __TAB_START_Y); } tab.setTabClickedCallback(tabClickedCallback); tab.setActive(true); screen->loadProgram(tab.getId()); scrollableContainer1.a

Hi, i have a issue when trying to synchronize 2 and more stepper motors.Issue:The issue is that when software send RUN command with the same argument (speed value), after several revolutions motors tend to spin with some offset which is growing really slowly but is visible.Context:There are 2 devices with custom PCB, L6470 (1 per device) and stepper motor. I send some UDP packet in order to engage sending command to L6470, therefore all motors start on the same time. All electronic parts on devices are the same (including MCUs), software is also the same, even stepper motors are the same. I use 128 microstepping, other config values are on default. Command are sent successfully, so SPI communication is fine.Question:Where could be the problem? Is this voltage varation on L6470, stepper motor imperfection or any other factor i am not aware of?Thank you in advanceTomek

Hi All,I am using an Nucleo-144 STM32H723ZG.Here I try to use ADC3 to sample data, and save it to a buffer (SRC_Buf) using DMA, which works fine. Then I want to move the data from the SRC_Buf to A bigger buffer using MDMA. I have some callback functions for the MDMA and DMA to see when they  finish transfers. However it seems like the DMA always fills half the buffer before the MDMA have managed to transfer the other half, and I would potentially loose data. If I increase the MDMA interrupt priority, I get the callback function triggered, but not otherwise. Is there some settings or methods I can configure to make those processes happen faster? Maybe a hardware trigger etc. Better data transfer speeds, memory management...?Thanks for all answers! This is the code:

I would like to change my account password, but I can't find how to do it...Under my account and my settings I can't find any option/command for this purpose.

I built a small project using TouchGFX (v4.22.1) and it compiles, simulates, and can be loaded onto an EDT EVK043013B kit. The MCU is STM32F750. When I bring the TouchGFX project into STM32CubeIDE (v1.13.1) and do a build, it gets 1 build error. It is from the TouchGFX generated code:no matching function for call to 'touchgfx::ConstFont::ConstFont(int, int, int, int, int, int, int, int, int, int, int, int)' GeneratedFont.hpp /EVK043013B/Application/User/TouchGFX/generated/fonts/include/fonts line 34Again, it build fine in TouchGFX, but has this error in STM32CubeIDE. Any idea what could be the issue?

Hi,I made some temperature measures on STSPIN32G4 using a thermal camera.I saw that the central part 3x3mm of the STSPIN reaches about 70°C, while the sorrounding part does not go beyond 50°C.My question is the following: if I use the internal temperature sensor I will read the temperature of the central part or the sorrounding part? Thank youFederico

how we can change the speed of motor in STEVAL -SPIN3201 using external Potentionmeter?/or inbuilt Potentionmeter (Variable resistor )?

Hi, I'm trying to get the FP-AUD-AEC1 v1.2.0 acoustic echo cancellation demo application to work.I have a NUCLEO-F446RE board, an X-NUCLEO-CCA02M2 expansion board and an X-NUCLEO-CCA01M1 expansion board.I programmed the NUCLEO-F446RE board with the STM32F446-Nucleo_AEC.bin binary from the STM32Cube v2.1.0 software.I made the modifications to the extension boards as described in the "getting started manual".When I connect the X-NUCLEO-CCA02M2 card to the NUCLEO-F446RE card and the 2 usb cables to my Windows 10 PC, my PC detects a new sound input/output called "STM32 MIC + LOUDSPEAKER".But when I try to record this input with audacity it doesn't work (recording never starts). And if I add the X-NUCLEO-CCA01M1 expansion card (as shown in the photo in the "Quick start guide"), the sound input/output is no longer detected by my PC and the STM32CubeProgrammer can no longer connect to the card.Do you have any idea why I can't get the demo application to work? Thanks in advance, Pascal

Hi,I cannot download the latest packeges for the H5 MCU-s. From cube IDE I got the error as the attached picture. I got error also from browser from here: https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stm32cubeh5.html

Hi,I am a beginner and I want to generate a 50Hz square wave on STM32F407 on Keil UVision4Please mention libraries etc that are being used and if you can how to add them to Keil UVision so it doesn't give an error.

Hi,I tried to make an easy test of this board. when the button sw3 is pushed, LED 2 shall start blinking. Sadly it looks like my if statement equals always 0. Measuring the voltage on the testpin it looks like my MCU is sinking the complete voltage, no matter if the button is pressed or not. How do i configure the GPIO in a way that I could read from it without it to sink all the current? And where do I find this SIUL Documentation I should read before dealing with the advanced settings?  if(pal_lld_readpad(PORT_F, sw3) == 1){pal_lld_togglepad(PORT_F,led2);osalThreadDelayMilliseconds(50);};sw3 = PF13 = Pin84

Does current Lorawan library implementation fully support Class B? In changelog for lorawan libraries inside CubeWL in latest version 4.6.0 we found new functionalities being added. Are there any functionalities still missing in Class B?

Hey,I am looking for Gerber files of the STM32H743I-EVALhttps://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stm32h743i-eval.html#cad-resourcesIn the CAD resources folder I find Gerber files from the LCD display (MB1063 REV.B) and not from the controller board. The picture shows the converted art files, it shows the LCD display pcb gerber file. I would be happy to receive Gerber files and layer stackup of STM32H743I-EVAL (MB1246-H743-E03) if you can provide them.best regards

we're using STM32L412RB microcontroller and it has 2*12 bit ADC and our project requires 8 bit resolution, in this controller can we configure the resolution from 12 to 8 bits?

Hi Madam/Sir,We recently developed a custom board using STM32H747. The designs and schematic were based on Portenta H7 and the disco board. We received the board from PCBWay and confirmed that hardware-wise, it's okay and was proven electrically correct. However, upon loading even a simple LED toggle program on M7, the board suddenly was inaccessible, so I had to power cycle it by pulling the Boot0 to VDD. I was able to do that and erase the chip's program. However, the next time I try to load it again, it becomes corrupted again I found out that the Loading on M7 alone is ok but gets weird on M4 core. I scoured the tutorials regarding proper debugging and also tried to uncheck/check the HALT of all Cores on debugging but to no avail. I attached the screenshots of relevant info that may help me fish out where I went wrong. Please help me, I desperately need this board to work. Im willing to share my schematic design on this. Thanks,Ian [Updates], I debugged by step my pro

I have a custom setup which contains a microcontroller STM32L412RB and a ICM-42688 P.I tried to communicate with the ICM-42688 P via SPI (4-wire, tried both 1MHz and 100kHz) using the command 0x75 to READ the WHO_AM_I register (thanks for implementing that!). Yet, I get back a 0x0 and not a 0x47. I then observed the signals in oscilloscope, transmission is happening properly but I'm not receiving any data from the IMU sensor.I also need to get the data from Accelerometer and Gyroscope registers. Can anyone help me through this..?

Hello,Using the X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 module and ST25DV02K-W1R8S3 or M24SR64-YMN6T/2' IC. I want to do block reading and block writing. Is there a middleware and software package that supports X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 like x-cube-nfc4, x-cube-nfc6 and x-cube-nfc7 middleware and software packages in STM32CubemxIDE, if there is, how can I add it to STM32CubemxIDE? I have it here. "https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-st25r-lib.html" how can I add this to STM32CubemxIDE?Best regardsKU

Hi, I wish to produce a single pulse; lo-Hi delay Hi to Low. I am using Timer 1 PB15 which is the complementary output timer Channel 3I am using the timer in the following sequenceTimer initialisationSet the ARR and CCR3 with the followingARR = 2241  (CCR4 + 1)CCR4 = 2240 I execute   => HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_IT(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_3);Interrupt handler stops the timer => HAL_TIM_PWM_Stop_IT(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_3);The correct width pulse is produced. However if I don't use the interrupt to stop the timer the timer does not set the output to reset state when the interrupt is initiated. Thus the duration of the pulse produced is contingent upon the interrupt "clearing" the timer output PB15. I do not want to use interrupts to produce the pulse as I want the pulse width to be accurate with very little jitter. I have tried a heap of different configs to solve the problem and have been on stack exchange and this forum, but I can't figure o

Hi, may i know how do i declare the debug pins (PA13, PA14) as input pins after programming?

Hi：Now, I am using STM32C031. When debugging UART, it works normally when the optimization setting is set to -O2 or -O3, but fails to work when set to -O0 or -O1. Finally, it was found through checking the registers that the UART baud rate was not set effectively when optimization was set to -O0 or -O1, and the UART baud rate setting used an inline function. Can it be explained whether there is any correlation between optimization and inline, and why setting optimization would cause UART initialization to fail? The code as follow:__STATIC_INLINE void LL_USART_SetBaudRate(USART_TypeDef *USARTx, uint32_t PeriphClk, uint32_t PrescalerValue,uint32_t OverSampling,uint32_t BaudRate){uint32_t usartdiv;uint32_t brrtemp;if (PrescalerValue > LL_USART_PRESCALER_DIV256){/* Do not overstep the size of USART_PRESCALER_TAB */}else if (BaudRate == 0U){/* Can Not divide per 0 */}else if (OverSampling == LL_USART_OVERSAMPLING_8){usartdiv = (uint16_t)(__LL_USART_DIV_SAMPLING8(PeriphClk, (uin
