STM32CubeIDE 1.13.2 is showing a warning about SMPS for STM32U5 chips every time the code is generated (see attached). This is done even for chips which do not have the SMPS pinout, e.g. STM32U595VJT (non Q), which is completely invalid. But even when a chip does have SMPS, a designer may choose not to use it - why does this warning have to be shown every time the code is generated? For reference CubeMX used in this version of IDE is:Version: 6.9.2-RC4Build: 20230910-1412 (UTC)

Hi everyone,I am trying to use an STM32WB55 to detect iBeacons and have found that if an iBeacon does not have it's GeneralDiscoverable flag set then it is not detected by the system. I believe that the iBeacon is being filtered by the coprocessor on the STM32WB before it gets to the application code.Has anyone else encountered this or can confirm that iBeacons that do not have the GeneralDiscoverable flag set are being filtered out by the coprocessor before getting to the application code on the Cortex-M4.

I'm having trouble in bringing up my custom board. I've made a custom device tree using CubeMX and adding the sections as described in "Lab-MP15_FromPartNumber_To_BasicDeviceTree_with_CubeMx". I can program fsbl-boot and fip-boot, but i'm not able to boot:E/TC:0 tzc_it_handler:79 TZC permission failureE/TC:0 dump_fail_filter:417 Overrun violation on filter 0E/TC:0 dump_fail_filter:420 Permission violation on filter 0E/TC:0 dump_fail_filter:425 Violation @0xfff09000, non-secure privileged write, AXI ID 480Also earlier in the log:E/TC:0 0 print_probe_list:366 |- Driver stm32mp1-cpu-opp on node cpu0-opp-table failedI've seen earlier topics on this error (@debugging), the solution was to add a 'reserved memory' section in the u-boot device tree.I have this in my device tree, tried both 0xce000000 and 0xde000000, but I still get the error, any ideas?Attached is the full log and de decompiled .dtb from u-boot.

Hi!I am using a STM32U599VJT6 device without SMPS but getting this message when generating code:    What is supposed to be configured? Thanks in advance

HelloI'm trying to setup i2c communication from our microcontroller atxmega128a1u to the st25dv64kc.I've been trying to set it up via a twi interface of the microcontroller and no matter what command I send to the s25dv I always get a NoAcK response. There is no device in the RF field. What could be the cause of this and how could it be fixed? Thanks,Alex

I want to debug my custom board based on BLUENRG-355MC using PE micro debugger on WiSE-Studio IDE by ST.1) Does WiSE-Studio IDE supports PE-micro debugger?2) In case it supports, how to choose PE-micro debugger in WISE-Studio IDE?3) In case it doesn't, which debugger to use for debugging BLUENRG-355MC based custom board on WISE-Studio IDE?Thanks.Dalip Sharma.

Hello,I am using a sTM32L430 with a JTAG access throgh ST LINK V2 and STM32CubeIDE. The project has a few GPIO to debug and an USART to generate interrupts: To try to undersand my problem I build a small project with STM32CubeMX to have code genrated by STM and not by me.I added a few code to remove data from the USART BX buffer and to toggle debug pins.  void USART3_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN USART3_IRQn 0 */ int val; /* USER CODE END USART3_IRQn 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN USART3_IRQn 1 */ LL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOH, LL_GPIO_PIN_0); val = LL_USART_ReceiveData8(USART3); //read byte to clear RXNE flag val++; /* USER CODE END USART3_IRQn 1 */ }int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ LL_APB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB2_GRP1_PERIPH_SYSCFG); LL_APB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB1_GR

Hi, @Denise SANFILIPPO , I checked this post and was wondering how to check whether my IMU has sensor fusion functionality? It seems that my adapter is also MKI239AA, looking exactly the same as what was shown in the post... I believe I purchased my adapter from this website where it was not clear whether the corresponding IMU is LSM6DSV or LSM6DSV16X...For your convenience, please find attached a photo of my motherboard and adapter. Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

I meet that when follow func is in its second  loop And I find the value of var 'batch' is not 1 in the second loop,Why?

Hello,I am currently writing a program that will delete the bootloader, which is stored in 24 flash pages (Bootloader begins at 0x08000000, the program itself begins at 0x800C000).Pages 1-11 & 13-23 can be easily erased. Now the problem is, the page 0 and 12 cannot be erased without error. Code goes like this (same for page 12):flash_erase(0,1);from flash_erase() into --> HAL_FLASH_Unlock();HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&erase_param, &err) //erase_param contains the right page and bankfrom HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&erase_param, &err) into -->     FLASH_PageErase(page_index, pEraseInit->Banks);     /* Wait for last operation to be completed */    status = FLASH_WaitForLastOperation((uint32_t)FLASH_TIMEOUT_VALUE); //That's where the program gets stuck. The page erase still worked, I can see it in the device memory. But there's this error that I can't track down any further. This is the debug call stack:Thread #1 [main]

I've been trying to cross compile pyzmq for my stm32mp135f-dk and I'm facing issues with it. I've ran the script to setup my environment for the SDK. And made the required changes in the setup file. Here's my stackoverflow post with the logs as well. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/77420874/cross-compiling-pyzmq-fails-because-the-setup-picks-up-the-x86-compiler-automati?noredirect=1#comment136505142_77420874Any help is much appreciated. The goal is to have a IPC mechanism between a C and Python application that is quick to implement.

Hi,i want to use the I2C Communication between the X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 and the NUCLEO F401RE.My Problem is that i don´t know what i have to change on the X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1, because there is default SPI communication.Should i only add the resistors for the I2C or must i also remove the resistors for SPI communication. Please help me how to use the I2C connection on the NFC08A1 board.

I am trying to connect 2 NUCLEO-G0B1RET6 boards, using CAN FD. I previously did it using CAN, But now i am trying to connect these boards using CAN FD. So far no success,I want to know if it is possible to do it using CANFD.Kindly help me in this regard.

Hi!I have a custom board built around an STM32WLE5CCU7.My problem is that it consumes way to much power (100 times expected).110uA in Shutdown and Standby190uA in STOP2 WFI.CubeMX power tool estimates these two modes to at most 0.640uA and 1.3uA respectively.I have created a completely blank project (see attached files) which does nothing but enter various sleep-modes. It is using this project I measure the figures mentioned. It is of course possible that I have leakage currents on my custom board, but I have de-soldered everything I can think of that can consume power on the board (and all stm32 pins as default i.e. analog input). It doesn't explain the 80uA difference between shutdown and STOP2The board has a SMPS for generating 3v3 but I measure the current on the 3v3 after the SMPS so I dont think it should matter...The current-diference between stop2 and shutdown is very puzzling to me, and indicates that I have (atleast one) software issues.I'm at a complete loss here and very grat

Hi,I want to learn ZigBee and for this, I want to see what´s going on in the On/Off Router example and build up an environment to test my own implementations by using ZigBee2MQTT and a CC2531 dongle. I flashed the example onto my STM32WB55 Nucleo and the board can connect with the STM32WB55 Nucleo USB stick, but not with my ZigBee2MQTT setup.I´ve activated pairing as a coordinator in the web UI and started the application on my Nucleo board. I got this output but no successful connection:[M4 APPLICATION] APP_ZIGBEE_Init[M4 APPLICATION] **********************************************************[M4 APPLICATION] WIRELESS COPROCESSOR FW:[M4 APPLICATION] VERSION ID = 1.17.0[M4 APPLICATION] FW Type : FFD Zigbee stack[M4 APPLICATION] Application flashed: OnOff_Client_Router[M4 APPLICATION] Channel used: 13[M4 APPLICATION] Link Key: ZigBeeAlliance09[M4 APPLICATION] Link Key value: 5a 69 67 42 65 65 41 6c 6c 69 61 6e 63 65 30 39[M4 APPLICATION] Clusters allocated are:[M4 APPLICATION] onOff Clie

Hi! Hope everyone are doing well! I currently encounter a problem and can't solve it. I want to write some pieces of data into a file in a usb-disk and now the Appli_state is constantly idle even I connect the USB-Disk already. This is a test demo code from main.c and set up for USB related port. Thanks so much for  your support!

Hi, Can anyone help please to identify what is this chip that hold the ST logo ? Here is the picture shows the chip.i searched a lot even on the digikey  but i couldn't find anything.thanks

Hi, I am a beginner in SBSFU.STM32L4S7ZIT6STM32CUBEIDE Version: 1.12.0STM32CUBEProgrammer v 2.13.0 (for download SBSFU and full chip erase)Tera Term v 4.106When run SBSFU, I can get EXECUTE USER FIRMWARE at end, but cannot run UserAPP.if reset SBSFU, still cannot run UserAPP.I have done some debug:1. never use RDP2 level 22. boot is set to GND3. modify linker_common and STM32L4S7ZITX_FLASH.ld by STM32CubeExpansion_SBSFU_V2.6.2 (B-L4S5I-IOT01A)4. modify system_stm32l4xx.c and STM32L4S7ZITX_FLASH.ld in UserAPP for SBSFU( if don't change, i mean that UserAPP can run normally without SBSFU)5. disable SECBOOT_DISABLE_SECURITY_IPS at app_sfu.hreference:1. if i run UserAPP alone, it show error Break at address "0x1fff51da" with no debug information available, or outside of program code. then it can run to main.2. if i run SBSFU alone, it show error Break at address "0x1fff51da" with no debug information available, or outside of program code.&n

I am using a STM32L471 MCU in a design that may be flashed with new firmware in situ. I'm using SWD as the interface, so the two unneeded JTAG pins (JTDI and JTDO) are used for other purposes. According to the reference manual, JTAG is activated by default, then switched to SWD by the debugger:"By default, the JTAG-Debug Port is active. If the debugger host wants to switch to the SW-DP, it must provide a dedicated JTAGsequence on TMS/TCK (respectively mapped to SWDIO and SWCLK) which disables theJTAG-DP and enables the SW-DP. This way it is possible to activate the SWDP using onlythe SWCLK and SWDIO pins." - STM32L4 Reference Manual section 48.3.1Also according to the manual (and verified on the prototype), the JTDI pin is internally pulled high during programming/reset. Even if switching over to SWD, I verified that the JTDI pin is pulled high for ~6 seconds. My question: if this pin (JTDI) is externally pulled down by whatever it is connected to (in my design it is conn

I realized that I would need continuously switching the GPIO pin for external MUX.So, I want to know how to program continuously switching a GPIO pin (with a specific frequency and start timing for synchronizing with other GPIO pins)However, If I on/off the GPIO pin with a delay, the timing doesn't match well. So, is there any way to generate a frequency in a GPIO pin without any extra order such as DMA (it means that the GPIO pin just generates some signal without extra on/off control from the processor). Is it possible? then what code should I use?

we just buy  STD3PK50Z  dc2016 but package look different is their any change ins pakage please share are this original please reply thanks

ILI9341 display  connected to STM32F407VGT6The USB drive is connected to the STM32F407VGT6, this USB drive contains images, I need to send these images to the display. I already know how to send to the display an array that is located on a USB drive.I convert the image into an array, for example with the program Image2Lcd Ver3.2 And I send this array to the display with the following code: char line[100]; uint32_t Num; while(f_gets(line, 2, &USBHFile)) { if(line[0] == 'x' || line[0] == 'X') { char hex[10]={"0x"}; f_gets(line, 3, &USBHFile); strcat(hex, line); Num=strtol(hex, NULL, 16); while(!(SPI1->SR & SPI_SR_TXE)); SPI1->DR = Num; while(!(SPI1->SR & SPI_SR_TXE)); } } I don't understand now how to send images to the display without conversion.I need at least an algorithm of actions. I don’t understand what needs to be done in order to send an image to the display without converting the image to an array.

Hi, I am using a STEVAL-MKI109V3 mother board to evaluate 2 accelerometers :LSM6DSOX (STEVAL-MKI197V1)LIS2DUXS12I want to use the GUI software UNICO v9.14.6.0 but when I want to connect my device, an error popup appear : "ERROR : The adapter board has not been recognized. The WHO_AM_I register value does not match the device selected".I have updated the motherboard firmware with the v3.48.3 but I still have the problem with my 2 MEMS boards ...Can someone help me ?

Hi, I am trying to set 4 ADC in single-ended modes with a minimum of 26 GPIOs which will be used in inputs or outputs, the thing is I have a lot of conflict with the ADC. I have the yellow warning sign even if there are all green is that an issue even if I selected the ADCy_INx pin which are not in red or yellow in the configuration menu? For me it seems like it wont be a problem except that I'll be limited in the ADC pins i want to use.Am I right ?

Hello, I'd like to better understand some settings in CubeMX to be sure default settings are OK for my application.Starting with USART2 Configuration for example:- in "DMA Settings" tab, what behavior is modified by the Priority dropdown (Low, Medium, High, Very High)?- in "Parameter Settings", what exactly mean "Overrun" (Disable/Enable) and "DMA on RX Error" (Disable/Enable)- etc.Thank you for pointing me the existing (hopefully) documentation :) Thomas
