Hi, I'm trying to set up the I2S of STM32F303CBT6. Everything was fine until I checked the box "Master Clock Output", it said "With this I2S Clock (8.0 MHz), the divider value (0) is too low to obtain the desired Audio Frequency(44.0 KHz). The I2S Clock must be higher than (39.424 MHz)", although I had turned on the HSE with PLL, which is 72MHz of system clock. Am I missing something or it's a problem with STM32CubeIDE itself?Edit: Added IOC file.

File created on SD Card shows incorrect creation time.shown in above fig in red all files which gets created on SD card carry same creation time.Wondering if missing something in CubeMX settings

I have been trying to drive a 24V motor with sensorless FOC by using a NUCLEO-F303RE (as the MCU) and the BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS (as the gate driver with MOSFETs on board). For doing that, I'm trying to use ST's MC Workbench to generate code for the NUCLEO.I have tried many different parameters on the Workbench, specially for the start-up parameters, however, after programming the NUCLEO with the generated code, I'm always getting a Undervoltage Fault when I click on "Start Motor" and the motor just gives me a quick small rotation. What happens is that the motor draws a huge current which is then limited by the power supply which lowers its voltage (to maintain the current lower than the limit). The current limit is at around 5-10A which should be enough. I have tried increase the limit, and although the motor rotated more than usual, it quickly started to smell like burning.Additionally, I'm using all the default values of the DRV8323RS registers.I have attached some parameters of my MC Wo

Due to engineering requirements, the code is divided into two parts: USB DFU, including encrypted signature verification, and the APP code with header signature file. Currently, there is an attempt to rewrite the flash in the USB DFU orange section from the APP code, but it has not been successful. The reason has not been identified yet. Are there any other directions to test, considering that writing Flash data at the end of the APP code is working fine? The MCU in use is STM32F401RET6.code as belowint pending_len = writing_len;//writing_len=374int wr_idx = 0;ret = HAL_FLASH_Unlock();if (ret != 0) {uart_printf("flash unlock failed\n");goto failed;}for (; wr_idx < writing_len - 4; wr_idx+=4) {uint32_t *src32 = &cached_data[wr_idx];ret = HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_WORD, 0x800F7FF + wr_idx, *src32);if (ret != 0) {uart_printf("flash program 32 failed\n");goto failed;} pending_len -= 4;}if (pending_len > 0) {// writing by 8 bitsfor (; wr_idx < writing_len; wr

I have VREFBUF configured for output to comparator on my board. I see this on MCU Vref+ pin...Is 1.2MHz waveform typical? Are capacitors on Vref+ expected to smooth? I looked for avg closer to 2.5v (VREFBUF_VOLTAGE_SCALE0). How close to 2.5v should this be?VREFBUF_CSR = 0x09.

Hello, I am a high school student and also a fan of STM32. I encountered the problem in the title, and the following texts are how things happened.I bought this NUCLEO-144  board, and suddenly found the clock speed generated by the STLINK is too slow. So, I put a 24MHz crystal oscillator on the board, correctly soldered the crystal with its compatible load capacitors, and all the SBs are correctly mounted or removed according to the datasheet of this board. After that, I used CubeMX to generate proper code lines that initialize the crystal, RCC and GPIO. The code just worked fine as intended, and I get a perfect 24MHz sinusoidal wave from the oscilloscope after putting the probe on the HSE pins of the chip. But after I disconnected the power supply and reconnected it the second day, I found that the board is dead. The code I uploaded yesterday malfunctioned; LD4 on the board, which shows how the STLINK is working, is always red; I could detect the STLINK device from Windows Device M

I am looking for an HF reader board to which I can connect an external antenna.  I own the STEVAL-253916B and it might be possible to modify it to accomplish this but I can't locate the Gerber files on the ST website to make sure I'm doing it correctly.Any suggestions? Thanks,Ted

Hello,I'm trying to update the STM32WB15CC application with the ST BLE ToolBox.On the STM32WB15CC, the BLE_ota application is running (from STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.17.0\Projects\NUCLEO-WB15CC\Applications\BLE\BLE_Ota).Connection with the STM32WB15CC is ok.But when I want to select an "Application binary" file to send, for example BLE_p2pServer_ota_reference.bin, I have the error "Wrong file extension !". I have also tried with BLE_HeartRate_reference.hex, but same error.Where is the mistake? How to build application file that I can send to the device? Thanks for help.

Hi All,I'd like to create a PCB for my school project that captures energy from a small solar panel using SP1040. The harvested energy will then be used to charge a LiFePO4 battery (3.6~3.7V) through the LD6924 battery charger. Additionally, the voltage will be regulated to supply power to the MCU VDD. My ultimate goal is to construct a completely autonomous outdoor wireless module powered by solar energy. I've consulted various reference designs and product datasheets to develop the following schematics. I would greatly appreciate it if you could review it and provide feedback on potential improvements or identify any mistakes in the implementation.Best regards,Levan

This is the model i use(through X cube ai 8.1.0)By annalyze it ,the output should be float as belowBut the auto generated code declare it as ai_i8,why?and I can`t get result in the following way,I don`t konw the reason Because of the limits ,I can only provide three files here.I`d appreciate it if someone could answer my questions!!!

I am currently working with the LSM6DSOX IMU sensor from ST and I am unable to write to registers of the sensor.I am addressing the sensor via 4 Wire SPI.For example if I try to set the output data rate which is located in the register CTRL1_XL (0x10) setting the register to 0x40 and read back the register afterwards it is still at 0x00Here is the data sent as seen by my logic analyzer (Chip Select is not pictured in this screenshot but it is low for the entire 16bit transfer)First 8 bits is the address 0x10 (+write bit which is 0) and the next 8 is the data I want to write to it but if I read back this exact register after a short delay the register still shows 0x00.(this is the same address, the first bit indicates read or !write so it looks different)Reading registers seems to work fine. (registers like the who am I register return the correct data)Does anyone know what the issue could be

HelloWe are currently using ST25DV64KC nfc-v tags in our products, and found a possible bug during production. We set the NFC password in the last production step, using a self-developed android app (as, to my uderstanding, it cannot be done via i2C), via the 0xB1 command. transceive( 0x02,0xB1,0x02, password_slot,8_bytes_password )Most of the time everything works, but there have been some occurences where the java transceive command failed, launching an exception. When this happens, upon inspection, the tag behaves as like badly programmed with an unknown password!!!To my understanding, this should not be possible, as your protocol tranfers the password twice to avoid exactly this... and when this happens, the device is bricked as the RF pwd cannot be reset via I2C Details from testing:This happens alot more with some phones. During testing,  A Pixel 6a needed hundred of password writes before the password broke, while a Samsung A54 can almost surefire break it in

Hello everyone, When configuring the timers via the MxGenerator, I noticed the following strange behavior. If you use the LL, the code for the prescaler is generated strangely. When setting Prescaler = 2-1, the correct code is generated when using the HAL. When using the LL, however, a substration is performed between two enums, which makes no sense. This behavior is shown in the following screenshot. However, if you set the prescaler to 1 directly in CubeMx and not to 2-1, the code is generated correctly. I suspect a bug in the code generation. The following versions are used. STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.13.1 MCU Reference: STM32H563ZITx Firmware Package: STM32Cube FW_H5 V1.1.1    I hope for a confirmation of the bug and an adjustment in a next release. Many thanks in advance!

Hi all,I am working with TouchGFX Version 4.22.1 Designer. When copying some items and paste them in another screen, the arrangement is inverted. Then e.g. a background rectangle covers a text element and therefore is not seen any longer.I have to manually rearrange all items after copy/paste.Is there a possibility to disable rearranging the pasted items? This is a very nasty action as I often have to reuse a designed screen with a lot of overlayed items. Then I only have to change some items only. Rearranging then 20+ items is not a nice job...Would be perfect to change this behavior so that rearranging is not necessary after the paste.Thank you.BR GS.

I am bitbaking the core-image-minimal image, for a plain yocto poky distribution (Kirkstone), using stm32mp1 as my machine, and I am trying to figure out how the various st partition images are included in the build process. That is, how and where are the st-image-bootfs.bb, st-image-userfs.bb  and st-image-vendorfs.bb included in the core-image-minimal build? Everything is build as intended, but I cannot figure out how.I cannot find anywhere, where the recipes are added to any of the environment variables I usually use to include recipes, (IMAGE_INSTALL, PACKAGE_INSTALL, etc.).The only place I can find a reference to, for instance the bootfs recipe, is in meta-st-stm32mp/conf/machine/include/st-machine-common-stm32mp.incSTM32MP_BOOTFS_IMAGE ?= "st-image-bootfs" But I cannot trace that to how the recipe is included in the build. Please help.

I am using Zigbee wireless communication using STM32WB55RG. I would like to reduce the current consumption to 1μA after it has finished its role, but the current does not go down. What should I do now

Hi, I am a beginner in STM32L4. I set DBANK unchecked accidentally in STM32CubeProgrammer on STM32L4S7ZIT6. Now I want DBANK to be checked, but I don't know how to do. I try check DBANK and apply, but fall. It give me 2 errors. (after read, the DBANK still unchecked)Some other reference:I try to use Full chip erase, it success. But show the address I haven't see before.when I download SBSFU in this board, it fall.I want DBANK to be checked and become normal (when DBANK is checked, I can download SBSFU).It will be very helpful if any one tell me something. Thank you.

Hello,There are 8 optical front-ends on the board ... the front-ends based on TSV771 (or TSV772, TSV782, TSV791, TSV792).Is it important to use one LDO per front-end or powering all 8 frontends by a single LDO will be also Ok ?Thanks.

I'm looking for an example code with STM32G071 device using RTC interrupt to wakeup device from sleep mode based on HAL libraries. Thank you

I want to use STM32 PD-PHY to enable Debug Access Mode (DAM), so I need to connect both CC1 and CC2 and set different Rp values. For example apply Rp - 3A on CC1 and Rp - 1.5A on CC2. Is it possible to do that with STM32? If so, what family of STM32 can do that?   Thanks!

Dear Sir and Madam,I started a new project with STM32H745 from scratch. After implementation of all pin function and names, I worked on the clock tree. During this, I saw, one UART must be changed to the FDCAN interface. While doing this, CubeMX was getting frozen. Killing CubeMX and open the same file again show me the error Spoiler (Highlight to read)Cannot read field "defaultValue" because of "rparam" is null.Cannot read field "defaultValue" because of "rparam" is null.Doing the same on a PC from a colleague runs in the same trouble. The projectfile and the message is atteched. If someone able to reconstruct my file?I use CubeMX Version 6.9.2 under Windows 11 Thanks,Jan

Hi Everyone,                   i'm using two boards for my hobby purpose(stm32f108cxx bluepill board and stm32f407g discovery board). i tried the controller area network loopback mode in bluepill is working fine but in the stm32f407 discovery board controller area network is not working. For CAN transceiver i'm  using sn65hvd230 IC. when absorb in the debugging mode transmitter is working fine but when pointer comes to receiver its not working. i pasted the code belowstatic void MX_CAN1_CONFIG(void){CAN_FilterTypeDef can_filter; can_filter.FilterActivation = CAN_FILTER_ENABLE;can_filter.FilterBank = 0;can_filter.FilterFIFOAssignment = CAN_FILTER_FIFO0;can_filter.FilterIdHigh = 0x0000;can_filter.FilterIdLow = 0x0000;can_filter.FilterMaskIdLow = 0x0000;can_filter.FilterMaskIdLow = 0x0000;can_filter.FilterMode = CAN_FILTERMODE_IDMASK;can_filter.FilterScale = CAN_FILTERSCALE_32BIT;can_filter.SlaveStartFilterBank = 14; if

What shell is used to execute pre- and post-build steps in CubeIDE? It seems to be different to my system shell.I have a pre-build (bash) script that I want to run automatically before each build. I've added the line to execute it to the projects Properties/C/C++ Build/Settings/Build steps. The script is only one line, namely:awk -i inplace 'BEGIN{FS=OFS=" "} /SW_REV_BUILD/{match($NF, /^[0-9]+/); $NF=($NF+1) substr($NF, RLENGTH+1)}1' ${BASEDIR}/../Core/Inc/version.hwhich increases the integer number in the file "version.h" after the string SW_REV_BUILD. When I execute this file from cmd or powershell, it does exactly that. When STM32CubeIDE calls the script however, I get the following error:This error basically says that the awk version does not support the -i inplace option, so the version is older. If I remove the option, the file isn't edited in place but printed to the terminal, and the command works as expected (also in CubeIDE). When I launch a command shell console from CubeIDE
