i check in the disassembly where it showed cannot acces memory address at 0x8020000 and some other address when redebugging using stm32f103c8t6 mcu is flash memory being corrupted or something else?

I read in reference manual and web tutorials of stm32f103c8, there were "AHB", "AHB1" and "AHB2", what's the difference between them, I know "APB1" and "APB2" are 2 APBs, the "1" and "2" are sequential numbers, how about "AHB1" and "AHB2" are they also sequential numbers, or mode type code for different level hardware standards?

HI All,I have created a project to integrate sd card with STM32G474RE nucleo board while using SPI interface. After running the project I am able to initialize the sd card properly but while mounting the sd card, I am getting one error like: "FR_DISK_ERR".I am usung STMCubeide to do the configuration and followed some tutorial to setup my fatfs library.I am attatching my project here for the reference. Please have a look on it and help me rectify the issue.

Hi,I am working in STM32F4 Discovery, in my project I want more GPIO pins but with Same registers so that  I can straight away copy  the  old programs and do programming, Is there any suggestion Please do let me know. Thanks,Mohan

Hi     I am working on a custom board based on STM32MP157A . For USBH_EHCI while checking the register (USBH_EHCI_INSNREG05) mentioned in the reference manual (RM0436) it was mentioned to refer to UTMI specification. could you please suggest / share me the vendor specific UTMI specific document for the below attached image   Thanks&RegardsSrikanth

Hi all,I'm using a Timer in Encoder Mode on STM32F103, using the HAL framework on STM32CubeIDE.I would like to change encoder filter feature (IC1F[3:0]: Input capture 1 filter) depending on the behaviour selected in my MCU operation mode (so IC1Filter and IC2Filter) after the initialization of the timer has been made, so after HAL_TIM_Encoder_Init is called. Can I do this with no problemDo I have to Call HAL_TIM_Encoder_DeInit, set the values, then call HAL_TIM_Encoder_Init again if changing one of the valuesDo I have to restart the MCU after changing the values, and set it before the first timer initialization (so HAL_TIM_Encoder_Init)I'm thinking on something like this: if there's no need to reinitialize the timer.void TIM_Encoder_SetFilters(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim, uint32_t IC1Filter, uint32_t IC2Filter){  assert_param(IS_TIM_IC_FILTER(IC1Filter));  assert_param(IS_TIM_IC_FILTER(IC2Filter));  uint32_t ccmr1 = htim->Instance->CCMR1;  ccmr1

We are currently using STM32G0B1VE. But we are having NUCLEO-G070RB evaluation board. Can we use the NUCLEO-G070RB board for developing the code before the actual board arrives?

Hi,I am working with STM32G4 and I have problem reading/writing the I2C data with in the  timer callback.I have Timer1 calling my interrupt callback every 50 microseconds which is working well.I have I2C read/write functions which are working well.I2C is not Interrupt based. The problem occur while reading/writing the I2C data within the timer callbackI am unable to read/write  the I2C data in the timer interrupt callbackBelow is the timer callback     void HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim) { if (htim == &htim1) { if(dcheck.flagon_2sec1){ dcount.s_2_sec1++; if(dcount.s_2_sec1==40000){ delay.flag_2sec1 = 1; expander_read(&hmcp,REGISTER_INPUT,data); dcount.s_2_sec1=0; dcheck.flagon_2sec1=0; } } } }     Normal I2C read/write working but with in the timer callback its not working. Can anyone suggest. Thanks

Somehow this is not right, or i got it wrong?

Hi Folks,Managed to get the source compiled and loaded for the inverted pendulum project.  Rather impressive. In the source code there's sprintf statements to inform the user on what's going on.My question is: How can I view these messages?I'm a bit rusty with STF401 code, just forgotten how to do things. Can someone please help me?Thanks,John.

Hi folks,I would like to use the I2C serial communication protocol to write/read from the Flash Memory using the STM32G474 microcontroller. I am using the B-G474E-DPOW1 board which does not have an EEPROM. Is it possible to achieve this goal or do I have to use the I2C serial communication protocol to write/read to an external EEPROM. I would appreciate any pointers on this matter. Thanks. Best Regards,Gautam

Does Secure Manager actually use USART1 when it comes up or is the initial serial output from the default app installed when I provision Secure Manager (SM)?This output, I mean================= General Infos ==========================Flash Layout configuration index: <0x0>Secure Manager Version: <1.0.0>STuRoT Version: <1.0.0>==========================================================I saw in ROT_Provisioning/SM/Config/SM_Config_General.xml that had elements to change USART and associated GPIOs.If so, is changing SM_Config_General.xml and re-create the obk enough to change it?Or, is the SM hardcoded to USART1?Also does the SM, release or stop using the USART, to allow the non-secure app to use the USART?We have engineering H573-based boards, in which USART1 was already allocated to another function. So, would like SM to not use USART1, and if needed, use another USART allocated (temporarily)  to a serial console

Whenever I plug my Nucleo WB55 into my PC via USB, a Drive opens with some basic info about the Board. While this may be helpful at the beginning I don't want that this opens up everytime I plug it in. Is there a way to disable this behaviour in the firmware?

Is there a possibility to create folders in which to place projects in order to better visually organize all those in the workspace? For example in the picture below there is only a small part of the long list of my projects in "Project Explorer" ... can I create folders visible in the "Project Explorer" in which to place/categorize projects?I kindly ask is there anyone can guide me step by step because in the past I made some mistakes that cost me the loss of some projects I don't know in what remote parts of the computer

I am using two NUCLEO-F103RB boards for implementing and testing single-wire, half-duplex UART communication in polling mode. First I implemented and tested code based on the ‘UART_TwoBoards_ComPolling' example, which is included in the STM32F1 HAL library. Next I modified the code with the STM32CubeMX tool and set UART to Single-Wire (Half-Duplex), then re-created the code. See the screenshot. The idea is to only change what is required for switching from full-duplex to half-duplex, and leave the remaining code unchanged.Note that STM32CubeMX configures full-duplex UART config with a Push-Pull output. The half-duplex output is Open Drain and requires a pull-up resistor.Test setup:* Two NUCLEO-F103RB boards.* STM32CubeIDE Version 1.12.1.* STM32CubeMX Version 6.8.1.Known required changes from full-duplex to half-duplex (here UART1):* One wire from UART1 PA9 on both NUCLEOs.* Call in main(): HAL_UART_MspInit() changes pin PA9 to Open drain.* CubeMX adds HAL_HalfDuplex_Init() to MX_USART1

Hello,I am running into an issue where I can only receive on UART5 of an STM32H7A3LI if I have been debugging since a power cycle. The code runs normally otherwise after a power cycle, but UART5 cannot receive unless it is debugging.Using a JLink Pro, VSCode, arm-none-eabi-gdb-py, STM32H7A3LI on a custom PCBI have confirmed data is sent and received regardless of debug state using a logic analzyer, the problem is definitely on the MCUI have tried attaching the debugger to an existing session using SEGGER's ozone, the DMA counter gets incremented on the first byte received but the data is just a 0, it is not the actual byte receivedThis does not happen on other UARTs or USARTs, I am able to receive normally from other devices connected to other UARTs regardless of whether or not I am debuggingThe Instruction and Data caching has been disabled for the send buffer. It was not needed for any other RX buffer, only the TX buffers had issues with caching. I did try receiving on an RX buffer w

In my application I have TIM1 configured to output a configurable frequency - which works well. Now I want to add support for pausing the timer and the outputs should then go to inactive state( = low). But whatever I try with MOE, OSSI, CC2E, CC2NE bits, both outputs on channel 2 remain high.Am I misinterpreting table 116 on page 604 of the ref.manual?

I am in the  process of designing a custom PCB board that uses the CN4 ST-link pins to flash to the processor (rather than the standard USB Micro-B connector). Through testing with a multimeter, I have confirmed that the CN4 line is connected to the processor, and the CN2 jumpers are linked to the embedded st-link processor. Where I am hazy on is how the jumper effects me using the CN4 pins. If I were to not include the embedded st-link and CN2 jumpers (for all I know currently, it is just used to flash other devices), would I still be able to properly flash my STM32L476 processor?

Hello everyone. I started developing a zigbee zigbee application on a custom PCB, and since I don't need that much space I used the STM32WB55CC MCU. Everything went great until I had all components planted and wanted to update the zigbee stack when I realized that in the release notes there is no address for updating the Zigbee stack in the 256k MCUs. Does this mean the 256k devices don't support zigbee? Or is there a way I can update the stack on it.Thanks! :)

I'm trying to perform a headless build for our gitlab's pipeline. However, I encountered some problems with it.Firstly, I want to mention that the build process went smoothly before, but then as I need to change the name of the project, problem arises with the pipeline. So far, I have managed to change all the required changed in the .cproject, .project and other references to the old project name. Hence, when I tried to perform a build and even a debug session from my PC, it went perfectly fine, without any problems. The same goes with building the project via a headless build process manually from a linux machine (the docker image of my pipeline). However, when I tried to run it automatically from Gitlab's runner, it failed saying:  URI: file:/builds/6tyu7Drk/0/path/projName is not valid in the workspace!   The steps for my successful manual headless build:  git clone http://address_of_repo/projName.git /builds/6tyu7Drk/0/path/projName cd

Hey,I am starting to write a new project on STM32H745ZI.Core M7 is responsible for control and core M4 is responsible for communication with a computer. There is a lot of data that I want to share between the two cores, there is data that the access speed is critical only for the M7 core and there is data that the access speed is critical for both cores.my question:Is there a connection between which part of SRAM I save the data and the data access speed for each core?If so, where should I save data in different cases of needing access speed? Thanks for the helpers!!

Hi. I am luisI have question about STM32F413CGU6 FW upgrade using USBQ1. how can I setting Stm32CubeIDE usb parameters?? FW upgrade is only use "OTG"??I can use USB mode only "host" or "device".Q2. Is there another setting for standalone USB setting?? If it exist, please tell me. Q3. I have tried to use standalone FW upgrade code(stm32 github).but I found some files is missing. where can I find these files??? ref: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeF4/blob/master/Projects/STM32469I-Discovery/Applications/USB_Host/FWupgrade_Standalone/below box files is missing upper git url...

During the debugging, I noticed HAL_GetTick() freezes, I mean uwTick does not update anymore and holds the same value. This issue is happening while the TIM15_IRQHandler is called and executes a function responsible for reading from an SPI communication, it is shown below:  uint8_t canSpi_readAdresss(spi_SlaveInterface* spi, uint8_t adress, uint8_t* rxData, uint8_t rxBytes) { uint8_t rxArray[2 + rxBytes]; uint64_t timeout = HAL_GetTick() + 5; while (timeout > HAL_GetTick()) { if (spi->master->activSlave == NULL) { uint8_t msgData[2]; msgData[0] = 0b00000011; // read msgData[1] = adress; if (spi_TransmitReceive_(spi, msgData, 2, rxArray, rxBytes) == 0) { for (uint8_t i = 0; i < rxBytes; ++i) { rxData[i] = rxArray[2 + i]; } return 0; } else { //rxData = 0; } } } return 0xff; }  The HAL_GetTick()  holds the same value, therefore the execution gets stuck in the while-loop. It can happe

Hey everyone. First time user and absolute newbie on ESC's and e-skates.Bought a FLIPSKY mini ESC 4.20 and I am not able to connect it to my PC. Nothing happens when I plug the USB cable and nothing changes on my Device Manager too. Tried to install the Virtual COM ports driver but, again, nothing changed. Tried to manually add the drivers to the COM / LPT ports and it did accept this install but with an error message. Not sure where to go from here and also not sure this is the best place to look for troubleshooting but, in all honesty, I am lost........... :( Thanks guysMiguel R.
