Hi,I'm currently attempting to make my first Starter Package flash on STM32MP157D-EV1 by following this guide:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP15_Evaluation_boards_-_Starter_Package However, it seems that the TSV "trusted" folder is missing in en.flash-stm32mp1-openstlinux-6.1-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23.06.21.tar.gz package. Thus, the following command gives an error: STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port=usb1 -w flashlayout_st-image-weston/trusted/FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157c-ev1-trusted.tsvError: The file FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157c-ev1-trusted.tsv does not exist, please check the file's pathError: TSV flashing service failedI also see that the file exist in the previous package v5.15.Is their an issue with the 6.1 package or I missed something? How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.

Hey,I am developing a project in which the M7 core has CAN and USART communication which constantly communicates with components, the M4 core has Ethernet communication.I was interested in checking what the rate of the main loop is, so I defined two variables of type double that perform the following operation in every main loop:I display b7 in STM32CubeMonitor, and that's how I see how long it takes for 100K main loops, or how many main loops are performed per second.Clock Configuration:I did the test for the Core-M7 and the Core-M4, and these are the results:Core-M7:About 1.666M loops per second. Core-M4:About 60K loops per second. The results are so far from each other (I expected a 2x ratio between them).I started from the assumption that the Ethernet communication is the one that causes the slowing down, therefore I lowered the Ethernet communication and still got almost identical results.I opened a new project (No code except the test) and ran the same test for eac

Board name : stm32f746bgt6Sdram : AS4C4M32SA-7TCNMy display size is 800*480, interfacing sdram & display with mcu successfully. But my display having flickering issue, Frame buffer stored in sdram..!How to solve this error?

I'm trying to maintain a directory structure in my CubeIDE project that contains an import of a third party repository, however the directory is erased when I regenerate the drivers after saving changes to the .ioc file.  I'm using Azure RTOS which conveniently creates a 'Middlewares' directory inside which I added a new directory called 'Third_Party'.  Sometimes the ioc build leaves it alone, but most times it does not.  Is there a way to prevent erasure of the directory?

Hi,I've been following along with the "Getting started" on the wiki, but I cannot set up the developer package for my STM32MP157x-DK2. Downloading the file and trying to extract the archives, I get the following:```adriaan@ZOBLZO21X5GY3:~$ cd STM32MPU_workspace/tmp/adriaan@ZOBLZO21X5GY3:~/STM32MPU_workspace/tmp$ lltotal 667536drwxr-xr-x 2 adriaan adriaan 4096 Jan 6 16:49 ./drwxr-xr-x 4 adriaan adriaan 4096 Jan 5 16:23 ../-rw-r--r-- 1 adriaan adriaan 262113357 Jan 6 16:45 en.SDK-x86_64-stm32mp1-openstlinux-6.1-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23.06.21.tar.gz-rw-r--r-- 1 adriaan adriaan 50 Jan 6 16:45 en.SDK-x86_64-stm32mp1-openstlinux-6.1-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23.06.21.tar.gz:Zone.Identifier-rw-r--r-- 1 adriaan adriaan 421422061 Jan 6 16:46 en.flash-stm32mp1-openstlinux-6-1-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23-06-21.tar.gz-rw-r--r-- 1 adriaan adriaan 50 Jan 6 16:46 en.flash-stm32mp1-openstlinux-6-1-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23-06-21.tar.gz:Zone.Identifieradriaan@ZOBLZO21X5GY3:~/STM32MPU_workspace/tmp$ tar xvf en.

Hello, I'm using an STM32H750 and I need to implement a single small dynamic bitmap, but I have only ITCM RAM available. I read and made all the code from the articlehttps://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/touchgfx-engine-features/dynamic-bitmapsbut the funcion Bitmap::dynamicBitmapCreate return INVALID.The question is: is it possible to use ITCM for this purpose? I'm using IAR 8.32 Thank you

Hi I've been searching for some info about these two MCUs and I need some clarifications.1. What is the difference between STM32U585RIT6 and STM32U585RIT6Q?2. On page 150 of DS13086, STM32U585xx datasheet, regarding power supply scheme, I can see the presence of VDDIO2 like below, But on LQFP64 pinout for STM32U585RIT6 doesn't have any VDDIO2 but three VDD pins.Does this mean some of the I/O pins are supplied with voltage from some of these VDD pins, instead of VDDIO2 cuz there is no such pin on LQFP64 package? Thanks,

Currently i am using USB peripheral for communication (CDC) with STM32F070CBT6 microcontroller. For generating 48MHz clock, i am using internal oscillator as a source for internal PLL circuit. I have to send certain data to STM32 (for save it to external EEPROM (on same PCB card on which STM32 is installed). The STM32 will then acknowledge it. Similarly, STM32 will send the data to PC when requested. So, data transfer is only request based. Practically, I have tested it several times and it is working. But, now i have read the line from STM32F070CBT6 datasheet regarding USB as "It requires a precise 48 MHz clock which can be generated from the internal main PLL (theclock source must use an HSE crystal oscillator)."My Question is:- What consequences can occur if i continue with the internal source?

Hi there, we are trying to operate a STWBC86 on a rebuild of STDES-WBC86WTX.Eval boards are not yet available so we needed to build them with the given data on our own. when powering it up nothing happens so i assumed i need to program the supplied Firmware onto it via WPSTUDIO. When i try to connect to the board i get a Error message:   Wrong config ID and Patch Id for TX. I even cannot use the programming section of the tool as the buttons are greyed out: Documentation is very thin and doesnt`give information how to program the device on another way. How do i proceed ? can anybody help me on that issue? Best regards Stefan   P.S: Hi there, i was able to solve the issue by myself. You need to set the device to WBC86 and then Type to Empty to be able to program the device. afterwards everything works as intended.

Hi, I am trying to use DMA in my project for SPI and noticed there are 2 type definitions as below:-  SPI_HandleTypeDef hspi1; DMA_HandleTypeDef hdma_spi1_tx;  Which one do I need to use for SPI transmission as I am having problems using 'hspi1' as below:-  HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA(&hspi1, "Test",sizeof"Test"); HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA(&hdma_spi1_tx, "Test",sizeof"Test");   I just wasn't sure which handle was the correct to use...

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1r9MhSFT5c7hjDf6kfRWHOomkzLH9iJMF/view?usp=drivesdk Hi Everyone I made a custom board keeping stm32f429 disc1 board as a reference. When I connect the the board through usb mini it's showing USB not recognised. Below is my stlink schematic.

Hi, where can I get these two EVK? Since I searched these EVK model for 3 hours, and I can't find any.I searched all the sites including..(Mouser, Element14(Farnell) Digikey Avnet Arrow Newark OneChipStore, etc.)Can you help?

I use the ST25R/NTA5332 pair as an NFC Reader/Tag and ST25R391x firmware in my project. Why rfalNfcvPollerWriteMultipleBlocks method return the error? Is supported RFAL_NFCV_CMD_WRITE_MULTIPLE_BLOCKS command? I need to use rfalNfcvPollerWriteSingleBlock instead and it extremely slows down the exchange.

Hiwhen the STM32F103 enter the standby mode, it has the lowest power consumption. And it said the voltage regulator is switched off. And all of the data in the RAM will be lost except the backup ram and register of the RTC.But I tested it, the data will still keep the value (the standby mode could be entered successfully that the consumption will be reduced to several micro-amperes). the different thing is that all the supplies are still supply to the MCU (not only the VBAT).So that means the LDO is not actually switched off as it doesn't detect VDD to be lost or lower than the threshold. Is it right?

Wireless Power Requirements:-Require 5W on Receive side-Active Part Number and industrial temp rated-Air Gap: 20 to 30mm but ideally up to 40mm-Coil Size: 50mm or smaller is ideal, room to adjust size as needed-Don’t need to be compliant with any other standards but product will need to get FCC/CE certified, ideally don’t want to be able to charge anything else but priority is ease of design-Not very concerned about efficiency-Chip cost is a big consideration Questions:-Looking to run a device directly off power from the RX coil (no battery in device), are there any potential issues with this?-Transfer distance depends on many things including the coils used but how reasonable power transmission over this air gap distance? What are the many factors contributing to wireless power transmission distance?-Can I use a higher power transmitter such as 15W to get longer distance even if I only need 5W?-Is the STWBC86 the best choice for this application or can you suggest other options?&

Hı everyone, ı was trying to design basic timer project in register level about toggling on related led pin every 1 second. However, the led is on a few seconds after that it is off and never becoming on. When ı do the same project in HAL library, it worked well. By the way, I use APB1 as 84 MHz. Is there anything i missed out ?  /* Includes */ #include "stm32f4xx.h" #include "stm32f4_discovery.h" void RCC_Config() { RCC->CR |= 0x00030000; // HSEON and HSEONRDY enable while(!(RCC->CR & 0x00020000)); // HSEON Ready Flag wait RCC->CR |= 0x00080000; // CSS Enable RCC->CR |= 0x01000000; // PLL ON RCC->PLLCFGR |= 0x00400000; // PLL e HSE seçtik RCC->PLLCFGR |= 0x00000004; // PLL M = 4 RCC->PLLCFGR |= 0x00005A00; // Pll N = 168 RCC->PLLCFGR |= 0x00000000; // PLL p = 2 RCC->CFGR |= 0x00000000; // AHB Prescaler = 1 RCC->CFGR |= 0x00080000; // APB2 Prescaler =

Hi,I am working on a new product. For this I use the STM32H723 µC and the LAN8742Ai PHY from Microchip. Our schematics looks like this:We have a 25 MHz crystal connected to the STM32H723 (HSE). The MCO is configured to HSE. The crystal matches the clock requirements of the LAN8742Ai. The LAN8742Ai has a PLL that generates 50 MHz. This frequency is used as the reference clock for RMII communication. Now I have the following problem. When we run the product in a climatic chamber, sometimes the RMII communication does not work. The TCP/IP connection is broken, because messages sent from the STM32H723 to the PHY are not recognized by the PHY.So my question is, waht is the frequency for MCO? Is this constelation generally allowed? Where can I make improvements. We used this PHY because it is the same one used on the NUCLEO-H723.The PHY can be used for industrial applications down to -40 °C. It is not the PHY for consumer applications Best regards,sada1400

Hello!I would like to get information on the wireless charger receiver Part no: STWLC38.I am looking for a wireless power receiver that supports:10.5V-11V voltage output0.65A current outputSTWLC38 - per the datasheet it appears to support the above requirement. I would like to confirm on the same.Max power 15W receiver side; Vout_max - upto 20V; Vout can be set Firmware configurable VOUT_SET; Vout output current - 2A (rms)Can you suggest the recommended evaluation kit and transmitter for the receiver to achieve the above requirement.Currently, I do not see a stock available for the eval kit. Is there a sales contact to check for availability and lead time on samples?Let me know your input!Regards and ThanksMadhu

What is DTS used for?And can I configure the following set of registers on through I2C to send and receive data in-between 2 STWLC38s through the main coil ? Does this Qi IC have a detailed user maual?

I am looking at using this chip in a wireless power system, but I need to be able to send and recieve data. I see that this chip has registers for DTS, but I want to make sure that I can write data to the chip using my MCU as an I2C master, and that it will transmit it over the powering field to the other chip, where it can be read by an MCU on that side using I2C.

Hello ST Community,I am encountering a clock configuration issue that I need assistance with.I initially began with a blank template using an internal clock, and the code ran without any problems. However, when I attempted to configure a 24MHz external oscillator, I encountered an error loop during debugging. Here's the sequence of events:Started with a blank template using an internal clock - Code ran as expected without any issues.Configured the clock tree to use a 24MHz external oscillator, set the main clock rate to 170MHz, and allowed the clock tree to resolve the rest.Compiled and uploaded the code again, but it failed to progress beyond the SystemClock_Config stage.Upon investigating further, I discovered that the HSE ready bit is not set in time for some reason during the clock configuration. As a result, HAL_RCC_OscConfig() returned HAL_TIMEOUT, leading the program into an error loop. I tried Increasing the timeout value from 100 to 1000 but it didn't help.   /* Wait

I want to use the newer version of the CMSIS DSP library in my project with an stm32f767zi, but I can't get the code to compile without errors relating all the functions found under CMSIS/DSP/Source. With older versions of CMSIS DSP I've followed the guide: 'Configuring DSP libraries on STM32CubeIDE' (I cannot post links as a new user)But this is now out of date since CMSIS updated their file structures...I've tried to include the library manually, which works for 'arm_math.h', but not for all of the functions. I would like to be able to use all of the filtering functions which are also present in CMSIS 5.9.0, but this does not work at all it seems since I get errors while installing it through the 'manage software packs' section.Has anyone managed to use version 5.8.0 with CubeIDE?Many thanks in advance!

Hi,I am making a project using stm32cubeide for BLDC motor with Hall sensor.First project generated using timer2 made for Hall sensor reading with Combined Channel XOR ON / Hall Sensor Mode option, motor is working correctly, interrupting reading Hall sensor position and setting correct commutation for the motor. This option works fine. While making next project using XOR activation (in CubeIDE) also reading Hall sensors interrupt, motor won't work correctly, it uses much more power, the work is not stable. Why while using XOR activation the motor will not work when in fact it is made for reading Hall sensors? Please give me some short explanation for the difference between those options?

Hi It stated in PM0059 page 16:  The value of an option is automatically modified by first erasing the user configuration sector and then programming all the option bytes with the values contained in the FLASH_OPTCR register.I want to  know : What's the user configuration sector? Can you help to point to the right ones in the following table?
