Solved

Greetings. I ran into a problem, I can’t figure out how to become a polynomial if I use not 32 binary mode but in 8 bit mode. MCU STM32F072x8/xBif I use a 32-bit setting, I get the correct data and can process it on a PC, but with 8 bits it doesn’t work..  uint32_t crc32(uint8_t *data, uint16_t size){ uint32_t crc = 0; SET_BIT(CRC->CR, CRC_CR_RESET); // RESET bit for (int i = 0; i < size; i ++){ CRC->DR = * (data + i); } crc = CRC->DR; return crc; }

Hello,U-Boot has an stboard command that writes a board ID into OTP (word 59 on STM32MP15x lines, word 60 on 13x lines).TF-A displays this board ID if a device tree label "board_id" is present in the bsec node.Could you please explain the purpose of the board ID field and how it should be used when developing a custom product/board with a STM32MP1 CPU? Is it intended that we give our products a board ID in the structure as evaluated/printed in the TF-A code?Or is this just a field for ST eval boards and irrelevant for custom product developments? Thanks.

How and where I should I edit stm32mp135f-dk.dts in yocto?? I need to edit pinmux files of kernel, I want that if I make final image files using yocto then those edited images should get include in final image using bitbake?  Or the second method is to take out developer package and edit pinmux and dtsi, dts files of linux kernel then generate uImage and dtbs then copy them in /boot folder in board. Please clear my doubts!!!

Good morning,I want to use the ILPS28QSW to measure pressure and detect water.I use the development board (STEVAL-MKI223V1K) to test the ILPS28QSW.Measuring the pressure works perfectly.I am currently working with Qvar, but i do not yet fully understand what result i should expect. When I connect the STEVAL-MKE001A I get the following Qvar data:LSB mV °C-4423186 -10.38 21.55-4480098 -10.52 21.55-4587456 -10.77 21.56-4570778 -10.73 21.56-4558559 -10.70 21.55What kind of data do I expect? Is the Qvar data correct? In addition, water can be detected using Qvar if the sensor is assembled in a plastic housing??

Hi everyone,I just picked up a STM32F746G discovery board to practice on, but I can't for the life of me get the built-in STLink to show in windows. By this I mean, I'm unable to power via mini-B and LD7 just flashes red. Once I change the jumper on JP1 to power via USB HS I can power the board on. But even then I can't detect the STLink connection. I've tried updating, downgrading, removing, reinstalling the stlink drivers (link004, link007 and link009) to no avail. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi all,I´posted a shutdown issue with the L4981A controller and unknowingly the profile page had broken content and didn´t provide all the details. As such I got a reply with a case number from an St employee requesting my company info (which was already given) in the profile site, but have heard nothing since. Has this "dried up" ? I tried to access the profile site but the page didn´t open. All I get now from mySt is more login details on top of the one already given ! and a blank page getting no where.  It has taken me 1/2hr to get to this forum. Browser firefox, otherwise a relatively new notebook. All very disappointing. Time for customers to be better looked after.rJ

I am trying to store .bin file into eeprom(24LC256) which is required for me to flash the LCM GUI. I am trying to open the binary file in main.c as follows: #define Filepath "C:\\Users\\sushma\\STM32CubeIDE\\workspace_1.12.1\\filesizetest\\Core\\Src\\button.bin" // Open the binary file in read modeFILE *file = fopen(Filepath, "rb");if (file == NULL) {// Handle file opening errorwhile(1);} The .bin file is present in given Filepath. The file pointer is still returning NULL. I tried to use .txt format, That was also not opened in program and File pointer is returning NULL. I changed workspace and tried but I am getting the same error.I have checked the file persmissions , They are accessible and readable. Even I checked if binary file is corrupted but I can open binary file and it has contents.Could anyone please help me to resolve the issue ? or please let me know how I can store .bin file into EEPROM ?

Hello! I have noticed that the version of freertos generated by cubemx is always 10.3.1no matter which cubemx version or repository i use. is this correct? is the freertos version constant?is there a way to change this?

How to configure stv6111? Do you have any datasheet

Hello everyone, when I try to analyze my model (mynetwork.onnx) clicking on Analyze in the target selection window an error message occurs without any details. After the selection of the target in the configuration area, if I analyze the same model I receive this error: "NOT IMPLEMENTED: Convolution with multiple inputs not supported".The model mynetwork.onnx is obtained by converting a pytorch model obtained by running an algorithm downloaded from github. I use Windows 10 Home 64 bit (10.0, build 19045), STM32CubeIDE 1.13.1 and X-Cube-AI 8.1.0 (I've also tried 8.0.1).Could anyone please help me?

I've browsing around, and I could not find any documentation on how to code using the AI sub-module. I've see the- dm00570145-getting-started-with-x-cube-ai-expansion-package-for-artificial-intelligence-ai-stmicroelectronics.pdf- um2312-development-checklist-for-stm32cube-expansion-packages-stmicroelectronics.pdf- um2388-development-guidelines-for-stm32cube-firmware-packs-stmicroelectronics.pdf; and- um2526-getting-started-with-xcubeai-expansion-package-for-artificial-intelligence-ai-stmicroelectronics.pdfI could find any detailed explanation of how to use the C code.My current resources are https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=middlewares+folder+stm32+not+being+created and just browsing the generated code, but I am lacking a more structured documentation.Am I missing some document out there?

I'm designing a automatic fan switch using a BTA26-800CWRG triac.  I'm planning on a RCD snubber.  All I've seen so far show a single diode across the resistor of the snubber.  But it seems if the snubber is snubbing an AC source there should be two parallel back to back diodes to handle both the positive and negative sources.  Can anyone confirm or shed some light on the subject?  Thanks.

Hello, I set one of GPIO to Analog mode and I want to read its value, by using HAL library. Should I just use HAL_GPIO_ReadPin to read the value?Thank you.

Hello, Is it possible to configure PA10 on STM32H735 as GPIO Analog and use it to read ADC Value ? The AN4899, 4.3.4 Analog Configuration says : Few STM32 GPIO pins can be configured in analog mode which allows the use of ADC, DAC, OPAMP, and COMP internal peripherals. To use a GPIO pin in analog mode, the following register are considered: - GPIOx_MODER to select the mode (Input, Output, Alternate, Analog) - GPIOx_ASCR to select the required function ADC, DAC, OPAMP, or COMPHowever, I don't think there is the register GPIOx_ASCR in H7 and the reference manual, Figure 77 is not using PA10.

Hi,I'm searching for UHF RFID reader IC (860-960 MHz). I found the one and only solution as "ST25RU3993". But it is NRND. So, what can I use for my new design. And is there any cheaper solution? This IC is very costly. If I ignore the cost as of now, please suggest me any other solution which is active.Thanks....

Here is the machine translation:In the current project, ST25R3911B has been implemented as the host and ST25R3916B as the slave, using transparent mode to send and receive data.I hope to use load modulation in transparent mode to achieve custom protocol, I tried to use load modulation in transparent mode with ST25R3916B, but failed, the phenomenon is that the MISO of ST25R3916B did not receive any data from the host after targ=1. And there is no way to send any data using MOSI.How does the ST25R3916B use load modulation in transparent mode? How do I configure a bit targ? Best regards

On STM32F401 or any STM32,how can I read back the status of IWDG, ensuring that's it's running, as a safety measure? As I know direct counter value is not accessible, that would be ideal to see that it's not stuck. How to detect if LSI (thus IWDG) stopped running? As I found HAL/registers are mostly write only, not intended to be read back. Do I need to write this firstIWDG_KEY_ENABLE                 0x0000CCCCubeforeIWDG_KEY_WRITE_ACCESS_ENABLE    0x00005555u? // the allowed labels on this website are not really useful/specific enough.

Hello everyone, I m trying to create my own NFC-Reader Board with a ST25R3916B. With the help of the x-Nucleo NFC08A1I designed my own shematic. After ordering my custome curcit board and assembling all parts I tried to get it running but it does not work. I checked every connection betwen the pcb and the parts, the voltage and compared my shematic with the shematic from the datasheet from the x_Nucleo-NFC08A1. For comparison, I have a NFC08A1 board which works very well. It can't be the code, because I use the same code on boath boards. My problem is with the SPI communication because it doesn't even start. Do I have to pay attention to something or did I make a mistake ?I had the idea that I have a universal reading board with which I can connect different matching networks. That's why I'm using another connector. In addition, I also made sure that the capacitors and quartz were as close to the chip as possible. Can the capacitors be the reason for the proble

Hello,       I have to use SPI1, SPI2 and SPI3 to communicate with 3 ATmega32 boards(11MHz / 16MHz). I'm testing with STM32F407G-DISC1. My configuration and functions are as given below. void SPI3_Config(void) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct; SPI_InitTypeDef SPI_InitStruct; RCC_APB1PeriphClockCmd(RCC_APB1Periph_SPI3, ENABLE); RCC_AHB1PeriphClockCmd(RCC_AHB1Periph_GPIOC, ENABLE); GPIO_InitStruct.GPIO_Pin = GPIO_Pin_10 | GPIO_Pin_11 | GPIO_Pin_12; GPIO_InitStruct.GPIO_Mode = GPIO_Mode_AF; GPIO_InitStruct.GPIO_OType = GPIO_OType_PP; GPIO_InitStruct.GPIO_Speed = GPIO_Speed_25MHz; GPIO_InitStruct.GPIO_PuPd = GPIO_PuPd_NOPULL; GPIO_Init(GPIOC, &GPIO_InitStruct); GPIO_PinAFConfig(GPIOC, GPIO_PinSource10, GPIO_AF_SPI3); GPIO_PinAFConfig(GPIOC, GPIO_PinSource11, GPIO_AF_SPI3); GPIO_PinAFConfig(GPIOC, GPIO_PinSource12, GPIO_AF_SPI3); SPI_InitStruct.SPI_Direction = SPI_Direction_2Lines_FullDuplex; SPI_Ini

Hi.Regarding the VL53L7CX, I downloaded STSW-IMG036 (API Source) from the product page and tried running the Nucleo board and sensor using the example project included there. However, the default sensor operation setting in the code is 16(4×4) zones, but I don’t know exactly how to change it to 64(8×8) zones. In the user manualThey say it can be changed in vl53l7cx_set_resolution(), but there is no detailed explanation, so it is currently not possible to modify it. It may be because I don't know C language well, but please help me with a detailed explanation.STSW-IMG036https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-img036.html

I'm using mcsdk and want to create an inverter file based on STM32G070CBTx, but when generating the project, it tells me that my selected hardware is not compatible with the algorithm

Hello, I have a problem with debugger connection. The first time I had no problems in connecting and debugging my application, but the next times the debugger connects and exit immediately.I have already tried to close/relaunch STM32CubeIDE, disconnect/reconnect the debug probe, clean any entry in Expressions and Live Expression tabs.Below I have reported the output console text.Thank you.STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. HiI need this set up to debug harder issue I encountered. I tried to search through available post but can't find anything similar enough. In the past I used SWV on STM32F411 and it worked well so I have a bit experience.Anyway:-debug setup in CubeMX looks little bit different, I have chosen this:-clock is set up to 480MHz:- firmware of ST Link V3 is (I seen some posts on other problems suggesitng to downgrade, I don't know if it is a case here, moreover, I don't know how to dongrade to selected version):-debug config seems to be recognizing proper clock:-I try to set up SWV to see just uwTick, nothing happens in SWV data window when running the SW:- surprisingly sometimes, when playing with sampling setting, I see sometimes few values displayed in trace window but it hangs up anyway and is randomly working = completely useless Does anyone know if I am doing anything wrong or does any workaround exist? GreetingsWojt
