STM32U585RIT6 and STM32U585RIT6Q

Hi I've been searching for some info about these two MCUs and I need some clarifications.

1. What is the difference between STM32U585RIT6 and STM32U585RIT6Q?

2. On page 150 of DS13086, STM32U585xx datasheet, regarding power supply scheme, I can see the presence of VDDIO2 like below,

But on LQFP64 pinout for STM32U585RIT6 doesn't have any VDDIO2 but three VDD pins.

Does this mean some of the I/O pins are supplied with voltage from some of these VDD pins, instead of VDDIO2 cuz there is no such pin on LQFP64 package?

Hello @el659 ,

"Q" means, in "STM32U585RIT6Q", that dedicated pinout supporting SMPS step-down converter.

Please refer to the datasheet section 7 Ordering information.

According to table 27, VDDIO2 pin is not available in LQFP64 package.

Some pins are supplied by VDDUSB or by VDDA, please refer to table 26.
