Hi,I need help configuring a USART connection between a STM32L452RE Nucleo Board and a ESP8266-01 wifi chip. My goal is to send AT Commands from the STM32 to the ESP8266.I currently have my USART TX and RX connected to the RX and TX respectively of my ESP8266 board, and I've noticed that the LED is flashing on the ESP8266 when debugging through these commands, indicating that a signal is indeed being sent via my USART. However, i've noticed that the data has been scrambled on send and receive, as if i change the password to my wifi hotspot, I am unable to connect to it. By piping the USART1 RX directly to my serial monitor, I noticed a significant amount of scrambling.I have proved that this sequence of commands works as intended, and have been able to connect my ESP8266 to an arduino uno, as well as an STM32 bluepill using RX and TX in default mode, but my attempts to get my project to work on the STM32L452RE have failed. The way that I am piping the commands is shown above, and the ou

According to the STM32H7's datasheet, the M4 core shouldn't be able to boot from an SDRAM memory address (because it's outside of the range 0x00000000 to 0x3FFF0000):However, I found out that I can actually boot the M4 core from SDRAM, if I used the alias address at 0x70000000 (which is also outside of the range) instead of 0xC0000000. So I'm wondering if this is a documentation error, or an undocumented feature/bug that we shouldn't count on ? Thanks!

Hello everyone,I have a question about the STM32C011J4M6 in S08N package.I am developping a PCB with this MCU and want to use an LSE like in the picture below. Then I also want to program and debug my MCU with an stlinkv3 and will use the SWD debug so the 2 wire SWCLK and SWDIO will be connected to PA13 and PA14.The problem is that in the pinout view below, PA14 and OSCX_OUT are on the same pin.So can I connect to pin 8 at the same time a quartz and a trace for SWCLK ?

Hello everyone, I need help .I noticed a very interesting problem, which is this.I use STM32F429I-DISCO1 when I activated I2S_2 in the master mode PORTB_13 pin = CLK , but in reality it was always = HIGH level , after that I deactivated I2S_2 and configured it as an output pin , speed= very_high . Also no reaction, when checked with a tester that pin again everything is fine, the pin is brought out , then I looked at the board schematic, it turns out that this pin is connected to the USB OTG as VBUS_FS, I also disabled the USB_OTG function, it didn’t help either. On the other hand, I think if it’s not possible to use this pin, why in CubeMX is this pin not disabled? Thanks in advance.

Hi,I am switching PB12 on/off with 1 second delay on STM32F030C8T6. Measuring with the multimeter, the HIGH state is only 0.2 volts, even though Vdd is 3.3V. I have turned off all things that could be drawing too much power from the MCU. Other pins output a voltage very near 3.3V. There are no external connections with PB12, only a 10k pull-up resistor. What could be causing this?

I am developing a custom bootloader for a client on an STM32 system. I am using STM32CubeProgrammer to exercise the new bootloader and the built-in system bootloader to investigate the protocol being used over UART. In addition, I am referring to AN 3155, which describes the protocol. The issue/confusion I am facing is that when using the system bootloader and STM32CubeProgrammer and capturing the UART traffic for erasure of a single page, I see a different message sent from the programmer than that described in AN 3155, unless I am missing some important detail in the app note. For example, erasing the first page of an STM32F103 I capture the following output from STM32CubeProgrammer.:[43h] [BCh] [01h] [00h] [2Bh] [2Ah] The first difference to the app note is in byte #3, the number of pages to erase. According to AN 3155 this should be N-1, so I would expect this to be "00h."Secondly, byte #5 appears to be undocumented, the list of pages, in this case just page zero, should be foll

Hey all,It is a very basic question and I would appreciate some help on this. I am working with M24LR-Discovery Tool kit  and I want to detect my own tag with the RF Transceiver. I downloaded the  Software source code STSW-95HF002. and understood whats happening in it. Now, I edited the code as per my requirements and want to build it. I imported the Files in STM32CUME IDE (the downloaded source code does  not come with ".project"  file) and want to build the project and again program the controller. How can I do it? I am not able to find the appropriate build configuration for the project. I imported the project as File -> Import -> General -> Projects from Folder and ArchiveHow can I do the same for TrueStudio? Just some small backgrounfd: The tool kit comes with a MB1054B-CR95HF Transceiver which has a STM32F103C8T6 controller onboard and I just have to program that. Thanks in advance :)

Is there a way to use __HAL_TIM_SetCompare() for negated signals while generating complementary PWM signals?Any help would be appreciated

Hello,I want to build a simple application (like a UART message, GPIO bit-bang etc.) targeting SR6G7 and running on a custom board. To support that I want to use the latest SDK 3.3.0 and flash the code via StellarLINK.Is there any guide how to add the SDK resource to the StellarStudio? Thanks in advance!

Hi,I have doubt with the spi communication setup in this configuration. I'm using two sensors where one of the sensor only support 3 wire spi and another  is 4 wire .I have a single spi in mcu. The hardware setup is followed by mapping four wire spi to mcu(mcu is configured in full duplex mode) and put a resistor between miso and mosi and given to three wire spi slave. >Is it possible to make proper communication in this setup?>If this is okay how the master mcu will differentiate betweeen them?

Hi, I'm trying to design hifi amplifier using TDA7292 refering its datasheet.I read the datasheet of TDA7292, and I have some following questions :How can I use differential audio input at TDA7292? Is it okay to connect amplifier's IN1- and IN2- pin to differential audio source's L- and R- pin instead of connecting those amp pins to GND?With a single supply circuit, is it okay to supply single +48V 2A power to TDA7292? In TDA7292's electrical absolute maximum ratings, it the maximum DC supply voltage of TDA7292 is +-35V. But what I'm trying to design is single supply circuit. I wonder if it would be overloaded. Is there are any disadvantage using 'For Single supply' circuit instead of using 'For Dual rail supply' circuit?I found what I assume to be an error in the Figure22 diagram on page 17 in the datasheet. Pin 2 of the TDA7292 is OUT1 and pin 10 is IN1-, but in Figure 22 they are reversed. It seems to me that this is an error, am I right?I'm newbie in circuit design, so please unde

Hi,I'm using a STM32WB55RG Nucleo and STM32WB55 USB Dongle. I programmed the nucleo as FTD and write 2 sources and programmed the usb as MTD and write 2 sources that exactly the same with FTD. I'm trying to send coap messages from FTD to MTD so this is my message flow Nucleo(as leader)  --> USB (as end device). As I said I write my sources properly and test my code as both of them(Nucleo and USB) are FTD. It works but when I programmed the USB dongle as MTD, the usb dongle does not get the coap messages. I'm sending my messages as Multicast from FTD. How can I solve this problem?Best regards.

Hi all, I'm trying to get some accurate orientation data from the accelerometer and gyroscopic capabilities of the LSM6DSV16X, but am getting some different data from different GUI software. The Unicleo-GUI paired with the STEVAL-MKBOXPRO (SensorTile.box PRO) when programmed through the Algo-Builder will give a gravity vector reading and Euler Angle readings which are susceptible to linear acceleration (something independent of 3D orientation). The Sensor Fusion display would also move in response to linear acceleration on a plane even though there was no change in orientation. The Unico-GUI on the other hand, when paired with the STEVAL-MK1109V3 board mounted with the STEVAL-MKI227KA (carrying the LSM6DSV16X), did not present the same unwanted response to linear acceleration and provided a clear and clean independent representation with little irregularities in the Sensor Fusion visualization either. What might be the cause of the difference between the two GUIs since it appears

I am developing a device using stm32f429zit6. I want to know the usage rate of all software functions in the project, how to use the SWV statistical profiling menu in stm32cubeide? After setting Debug (Trace Asynchronous Sw), debugger menu, and serial wire view in the System Core settings menu, I pressed F8 in SWV statistical profiling to operate the device, but no function profiling output occurred.

Hey guys,Recently I was reading code from X-CUBE-MCSDK and was amazed at the well organised style. So I was just wondering if there is a full code specification or document for me, which would be of great importance.Apologies for my poor English and thanks for helping!

I have image of an IC and I am not able to identify what is the component and part number  Please support.

As shematic below the pin7 is connected to GND so there will be a 60uA leakage .so how to disable the internal pull up by config the register.

I'm using a STM32F105 and can program the firmware with an ST-Link to get firmware with USB DFU device driver on the device. The device gets recognised if I connect it with USB and I can connect and read the memory without issues. If I try to program a new firmware over USB it all looks good but after the verify step I get an error: Download verification failed. When I check the firmware is not updated at all. It's weird because in the log I see that the sectors get ereased and download is complete but it seems nothing is written to the flash.See print screen below.

Evaluating the STM32F070RBT6 for a project, and using STM32CubeMX V6.10 I am unable to connect the PLL to the HSI RC. It all works ok if I use HSE.I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong.

I opened a ticket in the ST online support system and was pointed to this forum for support.I have a device that uses the ST25DV64K and I'm talking to it using the ST25R3911B-DISCO board and the corresponding Discovery GUI from ST. The documentation for the tag chip says that any addressed request will not be executed if the UID does not match the tag's UID. When I send an addressed GPO interrupt request (looks like 22A902[uid]80), all tags that receive the request - not just the matching UID - send an interrupt. I have confirmed that the GPO configuration registers are set correctly (0x84, RF_INTERRUPT_EN and GPO_EN enabled, all other bits disabled), so - as far as I'm able to determine - this appears to be an issue with the chip, as I can't see any indication that the DISCO board could be causing this behavior. This misbehavior is causing failures in our testing, so if anyone from ST could advise on how to correct the issue, we would appreciate any available information.

Hi,          I am MURALI SELVAM I need one solution for STM32F103RCT6TR. Which is CAN pins in STM32F103RCT6TR IC. Kindly tell me. Thank you.

Hello,We are designing a PCB based on the Nucleo-H723ZG board. We need the complete project files (schematic, fab, assembly, and PCB layout with Gerber) in Altium if available.RegardsHai

Hello, everytime I try to download a file (in STM32CubeProgrammer) that was generated using STM32CubeIDE I get a data mismatch error at address 0x08000004.  Interestingly, if I write a simple blink sketch using the arduino IDE and upload that it works fine (And arduino is set to use STM32CubeProgrammer to upload - when in boot mode of course).  So I can take either the .elf or .bin that the Arduino IDE generates and upload just fine with STM32CubeProgrammer but NOT a .elf file that I create using STM32CubeIDE.I'm completely new to STM32 so any ideas on where I should look would be appreciated.

I want  to run MCU with VDD 1.8V (in order to have all I/O-signals as 1.8V). I changed to use a LQFP64 package which provides a dedicated pin for VDDUSB.I power VDDUSB with 3.3V (for sure not below 2.7V) but all other VDDs on MCU are 1.8V:USB function (FS PHY) FAILS if VDD drops below 1.8VMCU seems to run with VDD a bit below 1.8V, e.g. 1.794V. But USB is not working anymore! For USB I need at least 1.804V: then boot is OK, USB comes up and later VDD can drop to 1.793V and still working (but not booting up properly with USB on 1.793V: no USB enumeration anymore). All my 1.8V ordered and soldered LDOs do not work - because they provide just 1.79xV: USB does not come up.And the debugger (external ST-Link) becomes flaky with VDD a bit below 1.8V (50% of the tries it does not find the target). So,with "off-the-shelf" LDOs (ordered) for 1.8V, even USBVDD is 3.3V - it does not work (with USB, but MCU seems to be running still).BTW:With a VDD a bit below 1.8V and VDDUSB 3.3V - I can shortcu

if I configure the USART and use HAL_UART_Transmit. The UART to USB bridge is taken care of by the ST-Link chip.Could i use the VCP on the board is on PA9/PA10(pin D14 and pin D15 to rx and tx to arduino) and use digital.read on arduino to get the information of char[] like tipo "%s %.0f%%"?
