Hello I want support for STSPIN32G4 EMI Issue I took tests for Farfield EMI Report at STSPIN32G4 Standby conditionReport shows QP are over than Limit at 190.547MHz, 253.803MHz and I also get similar result by using Near-field prove(Proved Noise Peaks : 185.91, 123.94, 247.88, 309.84MHz) this result are same at evspin32g4-dual(also Flash Erase conditions results) I guess 62 MHz harmonic noise occurs between STM32G431 and STSPIN32G4 Internal Control logic Because I observe noise when Voltage input to VM and REGIN for the (in 3.3V externally supplied circuit) I want to know how could i solve this problem(Resolving EMI noise)

Hi,When using this, single-character text isn't perfectly centered on the button,the letter appears slightly higher.Also, characters like .,_ appear higher than they should.Is it possible to adjust the text position horizontally when using these?

Hi Forum! Previous experiments, but it still could not work, I have no idea how to fix this problem:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-embedded-software/hmd-application-stm32f1-with-bno055-via-vcp/td-p/876235 Therefore, I revisited the literature review. I found this paper from meta oculus, they using the HID to transfer the IMU data, so I want to imitate their steps. (using notebookLm to learn it )https://msl.cs.illinois.edu/~lavalle/papers/LavYerKatAnt14.pdf HID read/write tool(software)https://github.com/benbaker76/SimpleHIDWrite  Problem: Custom HID could be detected by host, the IMU could send the data at 100Hz, host could send the data to STM32 MCU, but only the first time was successful, the second time will let the HID read/write tool(software) crash, STM32 could send data after receiving the data first time. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On a custom STM32H523-based board connected via STLink 2.0 (swd, p2p in CubeMonitor), all selected variables are plotted as 0, including those whose initial value is not 0. I used the Basic_Flow template, where I set acq_out, acq_in, and loaded variable addresses from an ELF following this guide. The executable is proven to update values under GDB. I have tried rebuilding with -O0 and reconnecting and changing sampling frequency between sequential loop and 10 Hz. The code does not contain any standby instructions and the port looks fine since GDB works. I would appreciate any help or advice.

When configuring the LEDs for the STM32H573I-DK using the STM32CubeMX it generated code which initializes the LED pins as PushPull (rather than OpenDrain).Lookign at the schematics of the STM32H573I-DK it seems to be not "the best option".Would you agree that OpenDrain (GPIO_MODE_OUTPUT_OD) is the better option here, rather than PushPull (GPIO_MODE_OUTPUT_PP)? /** * @brief Configures LED on GPIO. * @PAram Led LED to be configured. * This parameter can be one of the following values: * @arg LED1 * @arg LED2 * @arg LED3 * @arg LED4 * @retval BSP status */ int32_t BSP_LED_Init(Led_TypeDef Led) { int32_t ret = BSP_ERROR_NONE; GPIO_InitTypeDef gpio_init_structure; if ((Led != LED1) && (Led != LED2) && (Led != LED3) && (Led != LED4)) { ret = BSP_ERROR_WRONG_PARAM; } else { switch (Led) { case LED2: /* Enable the LED2 GPIO clock */ LED2_GPIO_CLK_ENABLE(); break; case LED3: /* Enable the LED3 GPIO clock */ LED3_GPIO_CLK_ENABLE()

I have been programming my STM32H743 custom board for over a year.  Suddenly I'm getting the error message Error: No STM32 target found... I have tried changing the ST-Link itself but get the same error message.

Hello,I am working with an STM32F103RB Nucleo board. I am able to successfully connect and program the device using ST-LINK, but I am facing an issue during debugging.The code is downloaded successfully and verified, but when the debugger tries to run (after the 'cont' command), it fails with the following error:Error in executing 'cont' commandTarget is not respondingFailed to read all registers from targetSetup details:- Board: NUCLEO-F103RB- ST-LINK Firmware: V2J47M34- STM32CubeProgrammer: v2.20.0- Debug Interface: SWD- Connection Mode: Under Reset- Reset Mode: Hardware reset- SWD Frequency: 125 kHzObservations:- Programming completes successfully- Verification is successful- Issue occurs only when starting execution/debuggingThings I would like help with:1. Using https://stm32ai-cs.st.com , starting with my .tflite model. My goal is to incorporate the new model into the STM32N6-GettingStarted-ObjectDetection example.  I am having some issues with versions.The ST Edge AI Developer Cloud produces a version of the model which differs from the version used by the support files in the example code. Case in Point - the function LL_ATON_LIB_Concat: the example has 6 parameters and code generated from the ST Edge AI requires 7 parameters.  Dr Google, suggests there is another option when I "Download C Code" from the AI Developer Cloud that I should also have an option to change the Target Output to "STM32CubeIDE Project", "System Performance Project", or "C-Project".I don't see that option. can you help.

 I am using STM32N6570-DK board . I am trying to build edge AI code in application mode with the help of generated STM32 cube AI studio generate project for IDE. I am following this article https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-build-an-ai-application-from-scratch-on-the-stm32n6570-dk/ta-p/825591 . @Julian E. This article includes AI using X-Cube AI , I just wanted to ask if I am using the project/ AI files generated by STM32 Cube AI studio, Will the configuration of external memory manager and addresses we are using in XSPI2 , RAMCFG , RCC settings all will remain exactly same ? I am asking this as I am getting some memory issues while debugging the application code.Also my code includes ADC+USART also, will this add to additional memory changes?

Hi,After reading HSO current and voltage sampling in three-shunt topology, I beleve it is possible to run two BLDC moters using the ST-G473 microprocessor using 2 ADC's per motor. However, there does not seem to be support for that in the MC Workbanch. Will this be available in the future?Regards, Kevin

hello ST Community, I need your support. So far, I've been able to flash my bootloader software into the unprotected memory area 0x08000000 when Boot0 = 0 for the NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q series, both with the STM32CubeProgrammer and with my bootloader software via UART. However, I'd like to flash the same bootloader software into the memory area 0x1ff00000 when Boot0 = 1. I know it's protected. Is it possible to change the security level or flash it to another memory to run my software when Boot0 = 1? Thank you for your support.

@Ulysses HERNIOSUS Dear Ulysses,Sorry to bother you again. code : err = rfalTransceiveBlockingTxRx(tx_buf, sizeof(tx_buf), rx_buf, sizeof(rx_buf), &actlen, RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_CRC_TX_MANUAL|RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_PAR_TX_NONE|RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_CRC_RX_KEEP|RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_PAR_RX_REMV|RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_CRC_RX_MANUAL, 71680U); I want to send 4 bytes data and 4 bits parity, how do i combine those 36 bits data to 5 bytes data and send with function rfalTransceiveBlockingTxRx. for example:data_enc: 03, de, 59, bdparity_enc: 00, 00, 00, 00tx_buf: 03, bc, 65, e9, 05is it correct? can rfalTransceiveBlockingTxRx send 4bit data? Thanks

  I have tried using STM32CubeMX 6.17.0 to generate an STM32F429 DISC1 project.The generated project opened in STM32CubeIDE could not be compiled unless I add <root folder> in Project -> Properties -> C/C++ General -> Path and Symbols, the source location tab.I don't know how this happen. It's disturbing to modify project settings each time after modifying the CubeMX and generating the project.It's probably that should happened after I add some source folders to the projects.

Is it possible to connect 8 PDM microphones to the STM32N6 via MDF?

Is Cosmic license delivery service still working ?I submit the request, but I didn't get any answer!

Hello, I have a STM32 NUCLEO-N657X0-Q development board. I wanted to interface with 8 digital PDM MEMs microphones.  In section 68.2 of the STM32N6 reference manual, it states that the N6 supports a "PDM interface, supporting up to 4 microphone pairs". Also in section 2.2.3 of AN5027, it states that if 8 microphone want to be used, the recommended data IO lines are SAI_D1, SAI_D2, SAI_D3, and SAI_D4. Using CubeMX, I see no option for microphone pair 7-8. In addition to this, SAI_D4 doesn't exist when I search for the pin.  So how do I interface (if possible), the last microphone pair?  Thanks, Christopher

Hi everyone, I am currently developing an image capture project using the STM32N657 (Cortex-M55) and have encountered an extremely bizarre DMA2D write issue (a silent failure). Goal: Use DMA2D (M2M_PFC) to convert an RGB565 buffer to RGB888 and write it to CPUAXI_RAM1 (0x34080000). [Problem Description] I wrote a "minimal isolation test" to bypass all camera/GPDMA variables. I forced the CPU to fill the source buffer with pure white (0xFFFFFFFF), and then manually triggered the DMA2D to transfer it to the destination buffer. The Result: The DMA2D finishes successfully. The DMA2D->ISR register reads 0x00000002 (the TCIF Transfer Complete Interrupt Flag is set, and there are NO Transfer Errors). However, the destination buffer remains completely filled with 0x00000000. [Troubleshooting Done] To isolate the issue, I have verified the following, but the problem persists: CPU Read/Write Test (Pass): Before triggering the DMA2D, I forced the CPU to write 0xDEADBEEF to the destinatio

I get this error when I press the 'Kudos' button: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/stm32g411-availability/m-p/885372/highlight/true#M293512 Also happens on other posts in that thread, and in other threads. Looks like a recurrence of Kudos button gives error (12 Dec 2025)

Hello, I am working with the following setup: Board: B-L4S5I-IOT-01A MCU: STM32L4S5VIT6 BLE Module: BlueNRG-M0+ (in built in the Kit) I am currently facing an issue related to the BLE MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) size. By default, the payload length is limited to 20 bytes, which is insufficient for my application, as my data length exceeds 180 bytes. I would like to know: Is there a way to increase the MTU size on the BlueNRG-M0+? Can this be achieved without modifying my existing data transmission mechanism (i.e., without manually fragmenting the data into smaller packets)? My goal is to transmit larger data packets in a single operation, if supported. Any guidance or recommended approach would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Title edited to clarify this is about CMSIS-RTOSHello, everybody!I don't know where to look for information on which CMSIS versions are supported by specific STM32 microcontrollers. I asked one of the ST employees and STM32 Sidekick about this, and I got no definitive answers.STM software tools confuse me further. For example, STM32CubeMX (6.17.0) allows me to choose CMSISv2 the interface for FreeRTOS in my STM32F769I‑DISCO board project, but LwIP in the same project does not see the operating system used unless I change the CMSIS version to v1 (you can find more details about this specific issue in this thread). I couldn't find any document that would say which interfaces are supported by LwIP either.That's why I would like to ask You, where should I look for information about which CMSIS versions are supported by specific STM MCUs and, ideally, middlewares and software packages?

Hello Team, We are using STM32N657X0H3Q for one of our application, while looking for the voltage level information for pins, we did not get any information for PA0 pin for the controller, specifically i am referring the notes column in pin description section. I hope you are getting my question.  RegardsHarsh Bhavsar

Hey. I have recently received STEVAL-MKI109D + STEVAL-MKI238A for evaluating LIS2DUX12 accelerometer.I have opened MEMS Studio, chose my evaluation board and performed FW upgrade as prompted by the MEMS Studio.  I have then proceeded to Sensor Evaluation -> Save to File to capture my own data for further processing. Each sample was taken using 5 seconds timeout. So I just click "Start" and proceed with moving the board for 5 seconds. I did the following:1. Capture 3 "flip_down" samples of me flipping down the evaluation board.2. Capture 4 "flip_up" samples of me flipping up the evaluation board.3. Capture 4 "shaking" samples of me shaking the evaluation board.4. Capture 3 "stationary" samples where the device was just sitting on the table. After collecting all samples in .csv format, I have then proceeded to Advanced Features -> MLC and uploaded all collected .CSV data using different class names. See the below:  I noticed that STATIONARY and SHAKING samp

So apparently in 2026, creating a basic embedded C project now requires… a login.Tried spinning up a project in STM32CubeIDE and got a nice “half-built” result:Project created ✔Code generation :cross_mark:Explanation :cross_mark:Turns out the IDE now needs to quietly download the HAL/CMSIS packages, which in turn requires a myST account login… but:It doesn’t tell you thatIt doesn’t prompt you (on Linux at least)It just silently fails and leaves you debugging yourselfSo you end up thinking:“Did I misconfigure the clock? The linker script? The .ioc?”Nope. You just weren’t logged into a website.Nothing says robust embedded tooling like a hidden cloud dependency for generating main.c.Bonus points for the UX where the “login” option is buried under:Help → STM32Cube Updates → Connection to mySTBecause obviously that’s the first place you look when your GPIO project won’t build.Anyway—manual firmware download and local install fixes it. Once you discover the secret handshake.Progress :thumbs_

Hi @Ghofrane GSOURI. I just noticed new STM32CubeMX2. It's for STM32C series currently but I downloaded it to check it out. It looks very nice, that's for sure. Yet this topic is about file format. MX2 re-uses .ioc file extension but it's format is strange. It is made of JSON/Python?? multiline strings containing JSON and YAML. I don't understand what format is it exactly. The data inside it is also hard to understand and there is a lot of clutter, like IDs, URIs, URLs, descriptions, etc. Why on earth would somebody put field description text beside field name and value?If I may express may opinion - this is awful. It's even worse than old format. It won't be easy to merge changes in such file. It looks like it's a mash-up of multiple tools/libraries serialized states. CubeMX developers are going to have backward and forward compatibility problems and end users are going to suffer if bugs emerge.I would like to suggest one more file format: TOMLEdit: Moved from New IOC file f
