Hello The STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.15.0 doesn't create the code for me because I can't login in the software persistently can't connect to the internet. I followed some advice found on this community thread https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/myst-login-issue-in-stm32cubeide/td-p/575447 but to no avail. What can I do ?

Description: I'm facing an issue with the HAL_UART_Receive function in an STM32 microcontroller application when used within the netxduo.c thread. Below are the details of the problem:Overview: I'm using an STM32 microcontroller along with a SIM modem for communication purposes.Issue: The HAL_UART_Receive function works correctly in the main thread, allowing me to receive responses from the SIM modem. However, when calling the same function from the netxduo.c thread, I'm not receiving any responses.Application Hanging at HAL_UART_Receive

Hello,I am currently trying to implement an ASPEC Controller in C# to communicate with a motor control dev board over the UART (essentially, creating motor pilot with the ability to modify as needed).  So far, I have implemented Beacon and ping packets.  Beacon packets work perfect.  When I do a ping packet, the return data seems garbled. The code is designed to not process any packet that doesn't have a valid header CRC. I tested this by manually corrupting the header, and I no longer saw output from my packet detection, which suggest to me that I am receiving what the devkit is trying to send.I programmed my code to output debugging information every time a valid packet is sent or received.  I have attached the output of my code.  It starts with 2 pairs of beacon packets to negotiate buffer sizes.  I then start sending 4 ping packets per second with consecutive packet numbers. For the ping packets, I am expecting to get back the same packet, except f

Hello,I'm encountering an issue with STM32CubeMX while configuring the STM32U585QII6Q microcontroller. Specifically, when attempting to configure PD11 to ADC4_IN15, I find that the ADC4 channels are grayed out or inactive. While using STM32CubeMX, I can assign PD11 as ADC4_IN15 in the pinout view, but it remains orange (not configured). However, in the "ADC4 Mode and Configuration" pane, I am unable to configure it.For the STM32U585QII6 variant, I can configure ADC4_IN15 without any issues. However, in the case of STM32U585QII6Q, I encounter this problem.I have reviewed the datasheet, but I couldn't find any reference to different ADC settings between these variants.Could it be that the Q variant does not support ADC4 channel 15, or is this possibly an issue with STM32CubeMX?Thank you.Ari

We have recently bought the STGAP2SMTR from DIGIKEY. The pictures of the same is attached to this. I am unable to figure out which pin is pin number 1 (there is no DOT in the IC). Please can you look at the pictures and let me know which is the pin number 1 in the Gate driver IC (STGAP2SMTR). Thank you

Hello community,Are there any QSPI external flashes that are directly supported by ST in the form of drivers and external loaders that we can use for our project ?

I have this code, in where the interrupt works without issues in debug mode: void EXTI2_IRQHandler(){ SET_BIT(EXTI->PR1, EXTI_PR1_PIF2); // Clear interrupt flag } /* USER CODE END 0 */ /** * @brief The application entry point. * @retval int */ int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */ /* USER CODE END SysInit */ /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ __HAL_RCC_GPIOD_CLK_ENABLE(); GPIO_InitTypeDef my_GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; // enable nFault (PD2) my_GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_2; my_GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_IT_FALLING; my_GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_PULLUP; HAL_GP

Hi,I am trying to add HAL_I2C_Mem_Read into my application. However, when I write the API in the region below, it is not auto filled, I can not use the API. On the other hand, when I add the API inside the above function it works. How can I fix this ?I have already added #include "stm32f4xx_hal_i2c.h" as header file.Thanks.

Hello to everyone. I'm working on a display interface, changing from M3 -> M4 -> H5 CPUs. The issue appeared on all type(it's a HW issue?) At the beginning I can connect, debug, program and so on. Bt after some operation, I can't continue. I still have a "No STM target found" error, from CubeIDE and Programmer. What I can see is that the CPU voltage is not 3.3V, but less:   This happen with different STLINK-V2 or V3. Obviously I check the volts on SWD pin 1 and it's always ~3.3V When this happen I usually pas to another board/JTAG. But afer a while I connect the old JTAG-Board and it work again. I enclose the schematics, because I presume it's a HW problem. Can someone gimme a tip? Thanks.

Hi everyone,Designing the BLE (bluetooth low energy) part of my software, I have to use BlueNRG-1, BlueNRG-2 DK SW package.First of all, I included by hands the library file (.a).But there is a lot of source-code that is not provided in the library (but in others files), I then decided to include manually headers file and others source code files (.c). Dont know if its a good practice. Are their others options instead of manually including .a, .h and .c files ?I recently realized that new versions of source code was available, and manually do migration every-time is error-prone and long to do.Thanks for advice !

Hi,I am using the nucleo-H503RB I3C (Controller mode) with this example to connect to an I3C standard chip. The sensor transmits IBI with 5 bits of payload but I noticed that the STM32 receives only 4 bits, and then it stops receiving the fifth bit.Is there any method I can define the receive IBI payload size on the controller side? Any kind of help is appreciated. :)

Hi,I want to creater a telnet server but can't even get the board to respond to a ping. I followed the following sequence:Crearted a new projectselected my Nucleo-F439ZI boardselected to initialize the peripherals to their default modeGot the following clock config (note I changed the HSE to 25MHz):Enabled FreeRTOS CMSIS_VChanged Timebase Source to TIM14 (in SYS config)Enabled USE_NEWLIB_REENTRANT (In FREERTOS config)Confirmed that ETH is enabled with RMII & confirmed all the pins are routed correctly (no changes needed)Enabled LWIPChanged the Driver_PHY to LAN8742Disabled DHCP Set IP to 192.168.000.123 with 255.255.255.0 as subnetCtrl+s to create the sources!compiled & loaded the application & tried to ping the above IP (.123) from my laptop (set to 192.168.0.111) but do not get any response.I realized that it appears to get stuck in MX_LWIP_Init(). Why is this and how can I fix it?

Hi I'm trying to run SPI_FullDuplex_ComIT_Master and Slave examples that use SPI1 on NUCLEO-H563ZI boards. The pin connections in the read me seems to be inaccurate i.e1. There is no PA5 on 10th pin of CN6 on the Nucleo but it is there on CN7.2. There is no PA7 on pin 15 of CN5 but it is there on CN12.Layout Reference: hereSo, I referred to NUCLEO-H743ZI and used the SPI1 pins and tried to use these connections on my NUCLEO-H563ZI and the example started working. So, is the example not updated or is the layout inaccurate? Can anyone provide a pin diagram like NUCLEO-H743ZI for NUCLEO-H563ZI too?

Hi ST Support Team,I am reaching out regarding an issue I have encountered while attempting to utilize USB CCID functionality on the STM32WB55 MCU. Recently, I integrated the CCID driver from the following link into my project.https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32_mw_usb_device/tree/master/Class/CCIDFollowing the integration, I successfully configured the USB device, and my system(windows PC) can now detect the STM32WB MCU as a smart card reader. However, upon further testing, I encountered an unexpected behavior: when attempting to communicate with the smart card reader using a Python script, the STM32WB USB port is detected as a Virtual COM port rather than a smart card reader. As a result, I am unable to establish communication with the MCU via script.I am reaching out to kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue. Could you please provide guidance or solutions to ensure that the STM32WB MCU is correctly detected as a smart card reader and able to communicate w

Hi,We are currently working with the STM32G0B1VET6 Microcontroller and have been designing connections for the SWD interface. However, upon verifying the datasheets, we couldn't find any mention of a JTAG interface for debugging purposes.Could you please confirm whether the JTAG interface is available for debugging on this microcontroller? Thanks.

Hello-Working with the STM32F411 on the ST F411 Discovery board, we have set the speed to 72MHz using the HSI as the PLL source.  The register values are as follows:RCC->CR = 0x03005C83RCC->PLLCFGR = 0x23001208According to Cube, this configuration is invalid:In fact, there seems to be NO clock speed we can find that won't flag the configuration as invalid if HSI is the PLL source.  Although the code appears to run correctly and there haven't been any timing issues experienced we want to check if there is some additional clock setting someplace that needs to be used to stop Cube from flagging this as an error.  Current version of cube is:STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.15.0Build: 20695_20240315_1429 (UTC)But this issue is not new, it has happened on older versions as well.

Hi,is it possibile to decide what area of microcontroller to program (the range) while debugging?I would like to remove QSPI memory update (via loader) because it take too much time.

Hello, I am developing a device using STM32WL chipset.I'm currently taking the FCC certification test, but it failed in R.S.E (Radio spurious emmision), so I've been reviewing it for 3 weeks. There was an FCC certification logo on the STM32WL Ev-kit, so I searched for the FCC ID and found a test report like the attached file.If you look at page 23, it says "Final measurement detector: CISPR Average". Is the AVG value measured by CISPR correct? The device we are developing is in a situation where Peak passes in the FCC R.S.E section, but fails in AVG.Since our device only had a difference between Peak and AVG of 3 to 4 dBuV/m, we asked the certification company to measure it using CISPR.However, I received a reply from the certification company that they only measure CISPR below 1GHz.Please help.thank you

Hello,I have tried multiple times to connect a Nucleo-G4R31B to the motor profiler. The software fails to recognise the boards at any of the preset baud rates. The board is recognised by the computer and is visible on the device manager. It is also programmable through STM32CubeIDE and STM32CubeProgrammer. I have tried changing USB ports but haven't had any sucess. The version of the motor pilot is V1.2.5 and the motor workbench is 6.2.1.My aim is to profile a BLDC motor and then test out control algorithms. Please let me know what I'm overlooking.  I have attached the terminal messages and the related screenshots.

STM32F7 Series

I'm using ST workbench 6.2.0 and motor Pilot V1.2.4. NUCLEO+ IHM08M1, three shunt sensor and brushless motor with encoder. When the motor is blocked, using TORQUE control-->Torque Ramp in Motor Pilot, the actual drive current I_Q_MEAS is almost zero, although the Torque_Reference and I_Q_REF is shown to reach the expected value.Once the motor is unblocked, everything seems to be fine.It seems to me that since the actual Iq is almost zero, the drive isn't capable of delivering maximum starting torque. What am I missing here?

I am using STM32H735G-DKCubeIDE 1.15.0touchGFX 1.23.1I am trying to get a relatively simple program to run on this DK. Runs fine in the touchGFX simulator. Will not run when downloaded to the board in  touchGFX, nor from cubeIDE. Just get blank white screen. Using debug mode, as soon as I executeosKernelStart();in main.c, it jumps straight tovoid HardFault_Handler(void)Wasted too many hours. What am I doing wrong?
