Hello all,I am programming on the NUCLEO-C031C6 and have some errors debugging the project. I have connected the board with micro-usb as it must. However i get following error message:Thank you in advance.

As far as I know, dToF has two illumination modes. One is spot dToF (iPhone) and the other is flood illumination. Which one is VL53L8CH? Thanks.

Hello,I am developing on a custom STM32MP151AAC board, the software is openstlinux-5.15-yocto-kirkstone-mp1-v22.11.23. The board successfully booted, and most of the part works fine. The problem is I cannot make USBOTG run. My board use FUSB302 instead STUSB1600.Now, the problem is I cannot make a usable device tree for usbotg_hs and fusb302, the kernel always complains  OF: graph: no port node found in /soc/i2c@5c002000/typec-portc@22  I had try my best to find where the problem is but without success. The device tree file and dmesg are attached in the thread.  Could anyone give me some suggestions? Thanks.

Hello everyone,I am using FreeRTOS but i am confuse about seting priority, Should I give same priority to every task or different priority to all task. And also what is different between them.

Hi there, We want to stream video at a reasonable quality (HD) using the STM32WL, we were thinking on implementing this feature using LoRa, but looks like Sub-GHZ system isn't no capable for transmitting video. What other methods can we use that can transmit video for around 6km (it's for a drone)? Thanks in advance and sorry for our unexpertise.

I'm reading the interesting posts in the Knowledge base, and wonder, why every article title has to be repeated as the first paragraph? I know this is no paper and internet is cheap. My neurons aren't! Doesn't bother anyone this *** redundancy?! :dizzy_face:The maintainers of this otherwise great site, don't need to do much: just delete some line of code somewhere... I hope it's not done on purpose, just to alienate the readers. :|

Hello.  I am currently using USART6 by setting RX as interrupt, and TX as DMA in STM32F4.The ST board mostly worked well, however, after some hours (maybe 10 hour), the RX interrupt wasn't called. I suppose that this problem is not related to hardware or IC because it worked well after software reset, I captured the huart information at the moment, and posted it and my code related to RX.void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { if(huart->Instance == USART2){ // Nersys q_in = (q_in + 1) % UART_BUF_MAX; // For ring buffer HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart2, &q_buf[q_in], 1); } } //// void USART2_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN USART2_IRQn 0 */ /* USER CODE END USART2_IRQn 0 */ HAL_UART_IRQHandler(&huart2); /* USER CODE BEGIN USART2_IRQn 1 */ /* USER CODE END USART2_IRQn 1 */ } I have read an article about USART and I find out that IDLEIE in USART CR1 have to be set as 1 to be interrupted. But in my case,&nbsp

I'm using PWM with level shifter(BSS138, 74HCT14D, TXB0104) for developing IC embedded LED (such as WS2812) However, when I captured this siganl using scope, I found that the signal was not clear.Below are the pictures that I captured. 1. Before addition of level shifter     2.  After additon FET level Shifter    3. 74HCT14 Level shifter4. IC Level shifter (TXB0104) Q1One thing I curious about is that why IDEL signal is in High instead of LOW when using FET level Shifter? When I tested FET level shifter using non-STM32(ESP32), the Idle signal was LOW, not Hi.  It is a very weired situtation! Q2And also, according to BSS138 datasheet, T_rising is 18ns. However, in my case, It was longer than specification.   PS. I'm using PA0 Pin for PWM control with DMA

For a project im working on i need to be able to  record sound with a battery powered microcontroller and send it to an RPi. I saw that the STM32WB was capable of this but can anyone tell me if i will be able to receive and process the audio file on the RPi since it only has BLE 5.0 and not 5.4 like the microcontroller.thanks in advance

Hi,I am facing a strange issue with the configurations of the SPI. I have an external module which I am communicating with that with SPI2. In order to read its ID I am driving the CS pin low send the command to the device receive the data and CS pin goes high again. If I use only this function to my main program the result is as expected, but if I try to send another command like reading the status of the external module then It does not work. However if I use only the read status function (CS goes low, ......send command......receive....data....., CS goes high) it works correctly. It seems like I am unable to do SPI transmits and receives. I use the debug view and I checked that the CS pin is working correctly while I have multiple module definitions in the main function and also the SPI registers are the same as I had configured them. Furthermore, the GPIO pins are correct. Did you face such problem before? Could be this an issue because I haven't enable FPU?This is how I am configur

Hi, I have two NUCLEO-WL55JC1 boards with me. I want to make one board as a end device and one board as a gateway. I found end node example with in firmware package of STM32WL but not found any example for gateway. Is there any gateway example available for NUCLEO-WL55JC1?Is this board(NUCLEO-WL55JC1) capable to run gateway example on it?Please help me to resolve above questions.  Thanks,Meimurugan

Hello All, We have designed our own custom PCB using SPC582Bxxx, and we have assembled the controller and other circuit board. Now we would like to flash the our sample into custom device and test the same. For flashing the code we followed the UDESTK debugger connected to custom board JTAG debugger (Connected Custom JTAG and UDESTK JTAG). Using UDE software tool try to load the firmware on custom hardware, We could able to load firmware to board but the custom board after reset is not booting up.  Can any one help us how to load the firmware and bring up the custom hardware step by step.  Urgently need solution to this!!  Please get to us with your help Thank and RegardsRohit R

Hello,I've been trying to write my own HAL to replace the STM32 HAL and recently I have been trying to write an LwIP interface, with guidance from this forum and the examples provided by ST and other users. My Individual files compile fine, including my ethernetif.c and lwip.c files. The included LwIP library files however are throwing errors during compilation (see screenshots). Can anyone advise? When I compare to a Cube generated project, my IAR is including extra header files, such as bpstruct.h as shown below. I'm wondering if this is a project configuration error, as opposed to a source code error?Grateful for any comments.

Hi Good day,       Trying to understand the CRYPTO module for MAC generation, particularly AES CBS MAC. Which algorithm mode i have to choose?, found AES CBC not AES CBC MAC.

For the Nucleo-H755ZI, I use the 'PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY' choice in 'HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply', like: HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply(PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY); With this setting, the board works fine and keeps working after flashing. If you choose for example 'PWR_LDO_SUPPLY', you would next un-brick your board, using STM32CubeProgrammer, selecting Mode 'Power Down' and erasing the chip. That way you can flash it again within STM32CubeIDE, after correcting the power setting. Since I can't find the 'PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY' option in STM32CubeMX, I always need to modify it manually.In STM32CubeMX I only find these settings:- PWR_LDO_SUPPLY- PWR_EXTERNAL_SOURCE_SUPPLY- PWR_SMPS_1V8_SUPPLIES_LDO- PWR_SMPS_2V5_SUPPLIES_LDO- PWR_SMPS_1V8_SUPPLIES_EXT_AND_LDO- PWR_SMPS_2V5_SUPPLIES_EXT_AND_LDO- PWR_SMPS_1V8_SUPPLIES_EXT- PWR_SMPS_2V5_SUPPLIES_EXTIt seems I'm missing- PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLYDo I overlook some other setting?

Hi,I´m trying to implement a simple ECDH test by implementing the functions from the Cryptographic Library V4.2.0.There are two persons A and B generating a pair of private and public keys. The keys are generated by the cmox_ecdsa_keyGen(...) function. The curve is BrainpoolP256R1.When trying to calculate the shared secret with cmox_ecdh(...) the function returns with CMOX_ECC_ERR_INVALID_PUBKEY. I´m assuming that the generated public Key is not valid (it´s not placed in the elliptic curve). What could be the cause?Thank you! Here´s my code: void ECDH_test(void) { //Prepare Time Measurement #define CYCCNTENA 0x00000001 CoreDebug->DEMCR |= CoreDebug_DEMCR_TRCENA_Msk; DWT->CTRL |= CYCCNTENA; /***********************************************************************************************************/ //Variables cmox_ecc_handle_t Ecc_Ctx; uint8_t Working_Buffer[2048]; cmox_ecc_retval_t retval; size_t computed_size; //Choose Random 32 Byte Value for Person

Hi Team,I am reaching out to inquire about the availability of the reference design for the STM32U5A5QJI6Q microcontroller We are currently in the process of designing a project that could greatly benefit from utilizing this specific microcontroller and having access to its reference design would be immensely helpful in our development process.Could you please provide information on how we can obtain the reference design for the STM32U5A5QJI6Q? Additionally, any accompanying documentation or resources related to the design would be greatly appreciated. RegardsSathiya

I cant use touchgfx well ,not familiar with c++.will stemwin add gpu2d support ?

Hi,I am reading mifare desfire tag which is iso14443-4 compliant using cr95hf.Most of the time, communication is completed successfully but sometime, i am getting 0x90 result code when using SendRecv command.0x90 EUnintByte Residual bits in last byte. Useful for ACK/NAK reception of ISO/IEC 14443 Type A.I do not know how to handle this error and i could not find any information in the iso14443a specifications.Could help me to find resources for this topic? Is it recoverable error or should i stop the communication after getting this error?Regards.

Is there a C program routine for the SPC560B series? I want to see SPI sending data and LIN sending data routines!

We have a STM32F7 with LAN9354 3-port switch on our board.  I created a custom PHY driver for the LAN device based off a similar LAN chip.  In general, networking works.  We can setup static IP, ping both to and from the board, also UDP connection is good.   We're using ThreadX and NetX Duo from https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/x-cube-azrtos-f7When I add a second IP instance using nx_ip_create, only the second IP address is accessible.  If I swap the code around (create ip1 before ip0), then the second IP address is only available.   When I say 'available', I mean through ping.  If I use arp command on my Raspberry PI, I can see both IP addresses with the same MAC address.  This is not the exact code, just a portion.  The remainder of the code properly sets up pointer allocated from byte pool, enabled icmp for both instances, arp, etc. without errors. ret = nx_ip_create(&IpInstance0, "NetX IP Instance 0", IP_ADDR

Hi ,We have an AEK-MCU-C4ML1T1 Discovery board. We want to simulate AI road state monitoring with AEK-CON-SENSOR1+MEMS SENSOR BOARD and AEK-LCD-DT028V1. Where do we get the complete firmware to build an application with all the features as shown in the STMicroelectronics website video(NORMAL, PARKING, BUMPY SKID)? What are the tools required to build a complete application? How can we get CPU power used while AI algorithm is running? ThanksSuvo

Can you tell me what these parameter settings mean? Is there any formula for calculating something? Does this 250000 represent 250KB/S! Is it SPI's SCK clock signal line?

Hello Experts,I have AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK debugger and want to flash .hex/.out file directly into controller SPC582B.how can I do this. please share necessary step guide. I don't want to use any IDE like using debug mode to dump the code.   Waiting for reply!!   Thanks, Mohit

Hello! I would like to ask what each of the three modes in the picture below represents? Also, what does it mean if the GPIO parameter is set to PORT_1? I did not see that the GPIO bit 0 for this PORT_1 port is in use in the pin configuration editor! So I would like to ask if this parameter has been configured and used on this image? Also, what does this PCS Line mean by choosing PCS1?Is there a user manual for the parameter settings of DSPI for SPC582B! Because I want to know what the configuration parameters in the routine mean!
