Hello, As far as I known, ST released two kinds of AVAS EVK which one is based on AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1(https://www.st.com/en/solutions-reference-designs/sl-ssasf011101v1.html ) and another is based on AEK-AUD-C1D9031(https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/aekd-stereoavas.html#overview ).I have both EVKs now but I have a issue on #2 case below.AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1 with PLS Programmer/debugger tool + UDE StarterKit SWAs you know well, AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1 board includes PLS Programmer/debugger tool inside itself. So, Under this environment(PLS Programmer/debugger tool + UDE StarterKit SW), I can write/erase specific NVM part to change WAV file(.hex format) and the way is explained very well on UM2719 like below.    AEK-AUD-C1D9031 with StellaLink Programming/Debugging tool + autodevkitspc5studio SWAEK-AUD-C1D9031 board doesn't include PLS Programmer/debugger tool inside itself. So, I bought a stellalink(AEK-AUD-D1D9031 can support this). But U

Hello,I have developed my own evaluation Board for the STWLC98 Chip. When connecting the power suplly, the DC-Mode, which is on the IC when it is delivered, works in a correct way. But when I want to program the IC with the following firmware from the ST Website: STEVAL-WLC98RX_config_2C00.memhSTEVAL-WLC98RX_nvmpatch_1454.memhI get the following errors, when the programming status bar reaches 100%: Config Id Mismatch! file/chip: 0x2C00/0x1000Wrong config id 0x1000 and patch id 0x0000 for RX Where can I find the right Firmware or do you have any solutions for me?Thank YouSimon

Hello,We have a device that runs an stm32g0. I have a bootloader at the beginning of the flash and then 2 pages for config and the rest of the flash for the firmware. The bootloader basically checks if the two config pages are OK and then starts the firmware. I have now 3 decives that suddenly stopped working and all have the same issue:The device starts in bootloader, prints some messages (UART) and then freezes and restarts when the watchdog times out. Based on the messages I see at the output, I know that the only thing the bootloader does before freezing is reading the two config flash pages (copying the content to a buffer with memcpy).I see two possibilities:1) the bootloader (code in flash) is somehow corrupt, however I've write protected the flash where the bootloader rests...2) reading the internal flash (config pages) creates an interrupt (hard fault maybe?) and the bootloader is stuck in the busy loop of the interrupt handler (I have no output there unfortunately). The device

Hi,       I would like to check whether it is possible to perform internal SPI full duplex loop back tests on the STM32H563ZIT6 board, but I don't know how to do it.any one please help me.

Hi I have added the required details in the MC workbench and clicked on "Generate the project" After that, the below window pops up.  in that under Firmware Package Version it is providing the three option to select 1. STM32 FW V1.11.52.STM32 FW V1.11.4 (Recommended , not installed)3. Latestfrom that I have selected the STM32 FWV1.11.5 option and clicked on the <Generate> button  , but it completing the project generation with error.I need you inputs on the below points1. why project is generating with error , how I can resolve this error2. the second option STM32 FW V1.11.4 , where I will get this and what is the process to added this in the project , so that it will detect in the dropdown list in MC workbench. In advance thankyou for your support.

Hi there, this is my first post here. So be gentle with me ;)I been working on a project with STM32H757XIH6 for some time now, but without any success. This is already my 2nd prototype and costed me quite some $$ since it had to be a 8 layer PCB. The soldering I have performed my self with a heat gun and heating platform...This worked fine in the past.I checked everything already several times, but since I am doing this one alone, I most have missed something. The issue has to be from the MCU connection/Layout since this one gets super hot when I power the board. If I desolder the MCU out, I can control the other devices(power supplies I2C devices, SPI, etc ). The power input looks like this: From the System supply configurations I intend to use this one (in red). Being SMPS off and Vreg on. Am I missing something ?The 3.3V  are stable when I desolder the MCU.I would appreciate any help since I am quite stuck on this issue alone .Much appreciated in advance.

Hello,I'm a hobbyist and I'm working on a USB to 4xI2S (8 channels using the SAIs) using a stm32H7 MCU. I have a proof of concept working on a stm32F7 discovery board. I'm starting to look at the dedicated board.I understand that the USB peripheral needs a precise clock, which can't be achieved alone by the internal HSI oscillator, as it is not precise enough. The stm32H7 has a clock recovery system, CRS, to calibrate the HSI with the SOF signal.Would you have experience with using the HSI+CRS?Are there tricks in the implementation if the Return of Experience was positive?Safer to go with a 8Mhz HSE?Best regards,JMF

Hello,I use ST's STDRIVE101 in a design to drive a three-phase BLDC motor and used the reference design EVALSTDRIVE101 as a design guideline. My design has a MOSFET switching frequency of 20 kHz and a MOSFET drain-source voltage between 36 and 42 V.I have some questions about the design’s power stage (see screenshot from the design’s documentation below) and would be very grateful for an answer.  All designators mentioned are taken from the screenshot.  My questions are:Gate resistor R11: Is there a strong reason for choosing 33 Ohm? My thinking is that when using a smaller resistor, the MOSFET’s switching on process could be sped up as my design uses a MOSFET capable of turning on faster. Is this possible with STDRIVE101 and to what extent could the gate resistor be reduced?Gate driver diode D1: This is used for faster switching off the gate by bypassing R11 if I get the design correctly?Resistor R14: I assume this is a pull-down resistor to drain the gate from unw

I am trying to program the STM8S001J3 microcontroller, on a custom board. I am using ST Visual Programmer tool for flashing the program but I’m running into the following error continuously.I have tried using both ST-Link/V2(A) and ST-Link/V2(A) ISOL but it gives the same error. Since Reset pin is not available in this controller, connections I made are as follows:ST-Link/V2(A)Target MCUVDDPin 4GNDPin 2DataPin 8And I believe the configurations I made in STVP are correct:So, I have these questions:1. Are the connections with ST-Link correct? Should we be using another version of debugger/programmer? If yes, could you direct us to which device we should be using?2. Is there any other way to simulate the reset condition other than Power-On Reset?

When I try to generate code I am getting "eclipsec" error pop=up referring me to a log file. The file content is attached below. Hello,I'm using the nucleo-h743zi2 board.I am trying to use the USB OTG FS function. The .IOC file settings are as follows:USB_OTG_FS enabledMODE: DEVICE_ONLYVBUS: disableuncheck SOFI provided power through an external source and also swapped the D+ and D- lines of the USB.The USB connection LED on the board turns on, but a USB device recognition error occurs in the Device Manager of my computer. Is there a way to resolve this situation?

What should I do if nobody is answering my question?

AN2606 does a very good job of describing communication peripheral usage by the bootloader, but not so much GPIO pins. Can I get a description of how each of the GPIO pins on the ST32U545REI6Q is configured by the bootloader? This could be important in determining behavior when new chips arrive from the factory and are placed on our custom circuit boards.Thank you!

Hi Folks, I am using a STM32F070F6P6 microcontroller for a very basic/simple project to help learn the STM32 platform, etc.I am getting an error when I attempt to build my project that my code overflows FLASH memory by quite a bit.  I did a test on a new project, and even without any personal code of my own, if I try to compile the exact same build, the USB middleware overflows my FLASH memory by a ton.  I am only using I2C and USB peripheral in my project.Does this seem abnormal? Am I doing something wrong?  It doesn't seem right to me that these add-ins themselves should be enough to overflow the FLASH memory size when I haven't even written a single line of code.  Are there any steps you usually take to optimize the code?

STM32H753 UART Baud is 15% low. I set it to 115200, but it's running at 98400. Is this a misconfigured clock?

Hi, To emulate the behavior of cell added in AEK-POW-BMS63EN board, we used voltage divider circuit (36 V, 10 5ohm resistor)and used the voltage drop of each resistor as input to C0......C14. For some days comm. timeout led was being turn on for 60 seconds whenever power on the supply, and work correctly to get voltage, current, temperature measurement and also balancing was working. But once balancing was turn on (due to voltage divider circuit voltage and current will increase for every i/p c0...c14) after that whenevr we power on supply, comm. timeout led was only glowing for very short duration, and now now no voltage or current measurement is possible as it just timeout before any communication. Is there any way to make its timout time for 60 seconds as it was.or Is the IC got damaged due to cell emulated ciruit. ? Thanks and regards, bitBuddy

Colleagues,What should be done in firmware for VBUS detection through a GPIO pin?  My device is self-powered, so I have to do VBUS detection. The device is built around STM32G474, and it doesn’t have a dedicated pin for VBUS detection, so I have to do it through a GPIO pin and firmware.  VBUS is connected to the GPIO pin PA10 through a 2x 100kΩ divider.I checked the code examples for STM32G4, but I couldn’t find examples for USB.  If somebody could point me to a code example, that would be great.I’ve read this FAQ on VBUS detection which is a collection of excerpts from AN4879 (and I’ve read the app note too). [without dedicated hardware VBUS detection pin] Any 5V tolerant pin with external interrupt functionality [...]Does the VBUS detection have to be done in an interrupt? Or can it be done in the main loop? If it can be done in the main loop, then are there timing constraints? "However, the disadvantage of this solution is that the software handling of VBUS

Hi friends,I have to configure Sleep mode  and Wakeup mode in  STM32F103C8T6 and STM32F407VET6 using RTC .But i  did not know how to configure this process .I need your guidance how to configure this by using datasheet and one important point is i have to use only internal clock for my configure. Thank you for advance for yours response

I was wondering if it is okey or expected behaviour in ethernet connections or it shouldnt be disconnecting at the first place.

Hi,I'm using Nucleo-STM32WL55JC1. I used a coin cell to give power to Vbat and remove the sb21 link. Now I tried the LSE as an RTC source and time works as expected even after I remove power from Vdd, I have used HAL_PWR_EnableBkUpAccess();But when I tried to USE LSI crystal time is resuming from the last power removed but not the actual time.for example, if I removed the power at 15:51:21 and resumed power after 5 minutes it shows 15:51:22 instead of 15:56:21.I want to use LSI only because I don't want to have an external RTC with my board when I'm designing the customer board.my doubt is if LSE works, even LSI also should work. as we can see in the diagram both LSE and LSI are in the same Backup domain. Please let me know if anything missing. Thank you in advance!!!
