Hello, I have a SPI TX DMA, and I need to do the followingStep 1:start the TX DMA ,Step 2:stop the DMA,Step 3: store the NDTR register,Step 4: modify the size of the DMA SPIStep 5: restart the DMA with the new sizeStep 6: and restore the position of the NDTR register to continue (restart) at the same position as previouslyI guess the last step (6) is not possible ? right ? or is there a way to change the current positionI tried to change it using the __HAL_SET_COUNTER but it is not workingDo I miss something ? Vincent

Hi, I want to operate reader board in CE mode. I posted the question before and I got the resolution from STSW-ST25R016 library. I have more questions about ndef_type_wifi.h file.Looking at the header file, you support it as below, but I would like to check the value of the macro again. Is it correct value? And is the type after the written version not supported? (ex. wpa3, sae, etc.)#define NDEF_WIFI_AUTHENTICATION_NONE 0U /*!< WPS No Authentication (Should be 1, but set to 0 for Android native support) */ #define NDEF_WIFI_AUTHENTICATION_WPAPSK 2U /*!< WPS Authentication based on WPAPSK */ #define NDEF_WIFI_AUTHENTICATION_SHARED 3U /*!< WPS Authentication */ #define NDEF_WIFI_AUTHENTICATION_WPA 4U /*!< WPS Authentication based on WPA */ #define NDEF_WIFI_AUTHENTICATION_WPA2 5U /*!< WPS Authentication based on WPA2 */ #define NDEF_WIFI_AUTHENTICATION_WPA2PSK 6U /*!< WPS Authentication based on WPA2PSK */ #define NDEF_WIFI_ENCRYPTION_NON

Hello, I have a problem with unaligned access, which generates a hard fault when the software is started without bootloader.When running the same software from mcuboot bootloader, there is no hard fault on unaligned access.The MPU and TrustZone configuration is the same in both cases.So I know that CM33 in STM32U5 supports unaligned memory access, since it is working when started from the bootloader. Now the question is, what is the difference? What do I need to do to enable unaligned memory access?SCB->CCR is already set to not trigger faults on unaligned access.The access should go to address 0x30000d8dSCB settings:CPUID = 0x410fd214,ICSR = 0x456803,VTOR = 0xc000000,AIRCR = 0xfa050300,SCR = 0x0,CCR = 0x201,SHPR = {0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0xf0, 0x0},SHCSR = 0x80004,CFSR = 0x1000000,HFSR = 0x40000000,DFSR = 0x1,MMFAR = 0x30018e1c,BFAR = 0x30018e1c,AFSR = 0x0,ID_PFR = {0x30, 0x210},ID_DFR = 0x200000,ID_AFR = 0x0,ID_MMFR = {0x101f40, 0x0, 0x1000000, 0x0}

My question today is kind of simple: I am using the SMPS to supply power to the MCU. Can I also use the SMPS to supply power to a NOR flash chip (W25 by Winbond, the exact chip doesn't matter, but it would be 1.8V with at least 64 Mbit size), and the XSPI I/O to communicate with the chip? Or would this use too much power? I cannot find any info on this.

we have assigned a while condition below the given code, even if the condition is false, or the while condition gets 0, the code also does not execute, it stucked at program counter on while only, if I entered a delay of 1 ms, using Hal_delay after While, then only while condition gets execute, I don't know why after hal delay after while condition it working ok, int I2C_ReadRegForCC3Current(uint8_t reg_addr, uint8_t *reg_data, uint8_t count) { //unsigned int RX_CRC_FailForCC3Current = 0; // reset to 0. Hello there!I'm reading the STM32H5 documentation on how to setup the ETH descriptors correctly. At the same time I'm following the HAL for the same H5 series. When the RX descriptors are initialized, I can see the HAL assumes there are 4 descriptors.  /* Set Receive Descriptor Ring Length */ WRITE_REG(heth->Instance->DMACRDRLR, ((uint32_t)(ETH_RX_DESC_CNT - 1U))); /* Set Receive Descriptor List Address */ WRITE_REG(heth->Instance->DMACRDLAR, (uint32_t) heth->Init.RxDesc); /* Set Receive Descriptor Tail pointer Address */ WRITE_REG(heth->Instance->DMACRDTPR, ((uint32_t) &heth->Init.RxDesc[ETH_RX_DESC_CNT - 1])); ETH_RX_DESC_CNT is 4 and so, the ring length is 3. Correct. The DMACRDLAR is also pointing to the correct start. I've created 4 ETH_DMADescTypeDef: static ETH_DMADescTypeDef dma_rx_dscr_tab[ETH_RX_DESC_CNT]; Which I then point it to the respective ETH handle: /* Provides the address of the first DMA Rx descriptor in the

Hi i am using STM32H753z, now i am trying to access SD card  but i getting  some error in stm32h7xx_hal_sd.c file of static uint32_t SD_PowerON(SD_HandleTypeDef *hsd)  API,s  in this /* SEND CMD55 APP_CMD with RCA as 0 */ errorstate = SDMMC_CmdAppCommand(hsd->Instance, 0); (errorstate is 4(return)) if (errorstate != HAL_SD_ERROR_NONE) { return HAL_SD_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_FEATURE; } it return in HAL_SD_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_FEATURE is any region to this, if i need to use old SD card is process?

I am testing DL model on different MCU platform. Is it possible to get the power consumption information? And is there any option to change the clock frequency of MCU? Ritesh

Dear ST technical support. Please can you advise the pin configuration and bus timing (period between active devices) to allow me to connect three of your LPS22HB pressure sensors in parallel on the same SPI bus?The CS pin is used to enable the SPI function on one device but it is not clear if the other SPI pins can be common with other devices. Thanks and regardsDuncan

Hello everyone, I want to measure the current consumption in low power modes on a STM32WB5MMDK discovery board, I would have two questions  :)1) I have clock issues when I want to use MSI clock to have a 2MHz SysClk to put my STM32 board in Low run power Mode, I don't know how to do it then 2) I also wanted to know how to enable and disable the flash memory, because in the datasheet the current consumption in Sleep mode and Low power sleep mode is given when it is On and when it is Off, so I wanted to compare it with the datasheet but I don't know how ? Thank you for any help you can provide! Best regards

Hi! I am developing a project which uses the satel-Vl53l8cx. I found many examples in I2C but none in SPI.The only one would be in VL53L8CX_ULD_driver_2.0.0 but this one was coded for the X-nucleo-Vl53l8A1.   A wiring is shown in AN5945 in SPI but in the CUSTOM->simpleranging folder the example is in I2C. Could this be a mistake? I can't find any example for my satel-vl53l8cx in SPI.ThanksAntonin

Hi st frends:  Yestarday I fuse the OTP PKHTH as followBut today I found  the key I fuse is not the correct one. So I want to re-fuse the OTP ，it seems that can't no fuse again.  is there any way to fuse the OTP this situation?

I'm using STM32H733VGT6, STM32F030CCT6 and LTE module. As show as attached picture, it is conneted via UART. I want to recieve data through LTE and connect STM32H733VGT or STM32F030CCT to DFU to download firmware. Is it possible with UART? STM32H733VGT have USB DFU, but I want to use UART. Are there any circuits or materials that might be helpful?

Hi Team, Do you have any MCU/MPU that supports UHF RFID reader/writer?I see the ST25RU3993 was into this category, but becomes EoL. Do you have any replacement for the same? Regards,Jenitt

Hi,I have used TouchGFX on an F4 without any problems so far, except that the animations were a bit slow. Now I bought this H7A3ZIQ and when I add TouchGFX to the project, I get 230 'undefined reference' errors. Any ideas on how this is possible?

I am trying to find out whether is it possible to send 64bytes of data in one frame of Multiframe in CAN FD. i.e First frame will have 64 bytes, Consecutive frame will also have 64 bytes in STM32G0B1KBU6 basically in G0 series MCU

Hello, I'd like to know if ST could provide software package or any tutorial to realise the Vibro-Acoustic Sensor Fusion demonstrated in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bi4NenlnR-k? I have an STEVAL-STWINKT1B on hand. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,I'm currently working on a project using the STM32H723VE microcontroller and have encountered a problem with the SAI1 peripheral. Previously, I developed my code on the STM32H723ZG Nucleo and everything worked perfectly, including the SAI1 callback function. However, after writing the same code to the STM32H723VE, the SAI1 callback function is no longer triggered. All DMAs are configured in circular mode with word data width. What works on the STM32H723VE so far is the SAI4 in slave transmit and the I2S1 in slave receive. SAI4 accesses RAM D3 and I2S accesses RAM D2 while sending/receiving data from DMA.As soon as I include SAI1 slave transmit data in the code, all DMA operations of SAI4 and I2S1 stop. As soon as I stop the DMA from SAI1, everything works again.I am confused because the code worked fine on the STM32H723ZG Nucleo. Here is the RAM allocation for the DMA in the .._FLASH.ld file:  .dma_d2_buffer : /* Space before ':' is critical */ { *(.dma_d2_buffer)

With the newest CubeMx version 6.11.x, when selecting oversampling, a ratio is being set, and this ratio is a define, which are in "ADC_VER_V5_V90" that is not being set when a new project is created. #if defined(ADC_VER_V5_V90)#define ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_2 (LL_ADC_OVS_RATIO_2)#define ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_4 (LL_ADC_OVS_RATIO_4) #define ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_8 (LL_ADC_OVS_RATIO_8) #define ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_16 (LL_ADC_OVS_RATIO_16) #define ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_32 (LL_ADC_OVS_RATIO_32) #define ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_64 (LL_ADC_OVS_RATIO_64) #define ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_128 (LL_ADC_OVS_RATIO_128)#define ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_256 (LL_ADC_OVS_RATIO_256) #define ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_512 (LL_ADC_OVS_RATIO_512) #define ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_1024 (LL_ADC_OVS_RATIO_1024)#endifThis gives an error in the adc.c file as:hadc1.Init.Oversampling.Ratio = ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_4;The "ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_4" is missing/undeclared.

I'm trying to use touchGFX with an ILI9341 using SPI. I've gone through the steps to create my timer to call touchgfxSignalVSync() but I get the warning: implicit declaration of function 'touchgfxSignalVSync'.  Is there something that needs to be included in order to call the method?I'm using STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.15.1 Build: 21094_20240412_1041 (UTC) and TouchGFX Version 4.24.0.Kindest regards

Posted on March 10, 2017 at 11:16Hi,The communication between single microcontroller and pc is works fine through ethernet tcp/ip . problem occurs only when i connect two microcontroller to a single pc via ethenet cable,Here d-link 5-port 10/100 desktop is used for multiple connection.when connection made for multiple microcontroller ,the communication doesn't work properly.Either one connection will be in active condition other will be inactive.I need solution to overcome this issue. My requirment is from pc it sends query to microcontroller-1 after receiving response from microcontroller-1 .It has send next query to Microcontroller-2.Process should be repeat. Is it possible? If yes please please guide me. Please anyone reply as soon as possible......Thanking You....

I was using the sensor until now on an Raspberry Pi with direct access to the I2C bus without problems. Now I use an FT260 USB-I2C interface to communicate to the sensor from a PC via USB. In principle the communication is working, e.g. vl53l5cx_is_alive() works as expected. But the initialization fails. On the poll for sensor booted status I now always get a 9 as the answer instead of the expected 1 until the timeout is reached. In the documentation I haven't found any hint what the value of 9 at this point means. This is the place where vl53l5cx_init() fails:  /* Wait for sensor booted (several ms required to get sensor ready ) */ status |= WrByte(&(p_dev->platform), 0x7fff, 0x00); status |= _vl53l5cx_poll_for_answer(p_dev, 1, 0, 0x06, 0xff, 1); if(status != (uint8_t)0){ printf("vl53l5cx_init(): Wait for sensor booted failed\n"); goto exit; } And inside _vl53l5cx_poll_for_answer() I see that the returned value is 9. Because the expected value is 1 _vl53l5cx_poll_f

within the STM32 Cube IDE After creating a hex file, I noticed that some lines had less data than others due to linker separation. How can I use the STM32 Cube IDE to add dummy bytes to the memory?

Hello,I am working on H750 while the flash is limited.Because the LCD is RGB565, may I know if the the unrelated functions can be removed? such as functions related with ARGB8888 and RGB888.  Thanks.

I built a custom board and attempted to program it using both the ST-Link Debugger V2 and an STM Dongle, but I'm encountering issues and can't seem to program it successfully.Could anyone suggest what the problem might be?
