I can not find any complete project for USBX or TinyUsb library to drive. Can anyone to help me please?i need USB CDC VCP AND AUDIO DEVICE simultaneously in custom board.

Hi all.I'm using a TOF sensor VL53L0X to make a small short range probe. the TOF sensor is not suitable for direct exposure, so there will be a piece of lens to cover the TOF sensor. Now the problem is, in the low-temperature environment, the lens surface will appear fogging and icing, and once there is fogging and icing, the detected distance will be a big error, basically can not be used.I would like to ask the users, have you encountered similar problems and solutions?

Hi All,Probably easy question, I would like to use DMA with QSPI (e.g. HAL_QSPI_Receive_DMA) but STM32CubeIDE/MX (1.16.0) is not giving me any options to configure it.There are no options, my parameter settings are belowQSPI is working fine in Indirect/Polling mode and interrupts are enabled. This is for a STM32H743VIT,Any idea? Thanks,Hans.

Hi in custom design arrive problem , that seems as hard to solve. TIM3 CH1 and CH2 config:  TIM_TimeBaseStructInit(&timer); timer.TIM_Prescaler = 1-1; //48Mhz/1/2000=24kHz timer.TIM_Period = 2000-1; timer.TIM_ClockDivision = 0; timer.TIM_CounterMode = TIM_CounterMode_Up; TIM_TimeBaseInit(TIM3, &timer); TIM_OCStructInit(&timerPWM); timerPWM.TIM_OCMode = TIM_OCMode_PWM1; timerPWM.TIM_OutputState = TIM_OutputState_Enable; timerPWM.TIM_Pulse = 1000; timerPWM.TIM_OCPolarity = TIM_OCPolarity_High; TIM_OC1Init(TIM3, &timerPWM); TIM_OC1PreloadConfig(TIM3, TIM_OCPreload_Enable); TIM_OC2Init(TIM3, &timerPWM); TIM_OC2PreloadConfig(TIM3, TIM_OCPreload_Enable); TIM_Cmd(TIM3, ENABLE); /* TIM3 counter enable */ TIM_CtrlPWMOutputs(TIM3, ENABLE); /* TIM3 Main Output Enable */ TIM_ITConfig(TIM3, TIM_IT_Update, ENABLE); /* Enable the TIM3 Trigger and commutation interrupt */ NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannel = TIM3_IRQn; NVIC_Init

Hi  I am new to VL53L1X. Can anybody guide me as to how to get started with interfacing vl53l1x with nucleo f401re?

I am currently working with an stm32h725RG on a custom board and was previously developing the code in VScode. After flashing the code using stm32Programmer, I could visually see that the program was getting past the MX_USB_DEVICE_Init() function because the function is called in between two sets of LED timer initializations. However, I wanted to debug the SPI communication via SWD and have now switched over to use stm32CubeIDE as my IDE and programmer. Now, the code keeps getting stuck at the USBD_Init() call inside MX_USB_DEVICE_Init() when debugging. For more context, the board is being powered via USB through a LDO regulator with no VBUS sensing and I'm using a chopped up nucleof401re as my st-link. Both the USB and the nucleo are connected to my pc.This is my first time working with the stm32 family so any help is much appreciated!(EDIT: Resolved, after switching BOOT0 so that it is pulled low, I'm able to get past the MX_USB_Init() call. It hadn't occurred to me to change this bec

I've been working on an STM32L072 based project involving USB and USART4. I ran into an issue that puzzled me, so I figured I'd post about it here to help others. If there is a solution to this problem, even better! My original design used USART4 as a serial port for MIDI and also set up USB as a MIDI device. USB wasn't working no matter what I tried. I thought it was an issue with my USB configuration / implementation. It turns out it was due to USART4 being set to 31250 baud. Here is what I've observed:If I set USART4 to 31250 baud, USB does not work (enumeration fails)If I set USART4 to 115200 baud instead, USB works fine.If I use USART1 instead of USART4, USB works fine, even when the speed is set to 31250.I suspect there is some difference in clock source / implementation between USART1 and USART4 based on the fact that CubeMX only shows USART1 with a configurable clock source / source mux. Is that the case?

Hi,The datasheet DS13311 rev. 5 defines the max. SPI clock for the OCTOSPI only for VOS0, what is the max. SPI clock for other Power Scale settings (I'm planing to use VOS1)?best regardsmartin

I saw a video on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5RraVX_IuA)  about animation and I found the effect great. But I don't see the example code as other videos do,  so anyone can share the example or materials in this video?

Can anyone help me please?I'm using LWIP and CGI SSI and http webserver. I've written an html form on my webserver that when submitted sends 16 parameters (each of 32 byte length) as a get. This crashes my webpage and the code never reaches the cgi handler. The same code currently works however if I only send 12 parameters of the same format. Thanks in advance.Parameters I have tried increasing:MEM_SIZE 10*1024 Byte(s)LWIP_HTTPD_MAX_CGI_PARAMETERS 48LWIP_HTTPD_MAX_TAG_LEN 48LWIP_HTTPD_MAX_TAG_INSERT_LEN 1024LWIP_HTTPD_MAX_REQUEST_URI_LEN 2048LWIP_HTTPD_POST_MAX_RESPONSE_URI_LEN 2048

I am using:STM32CubeIDE  Version 1.11.0STM32CubeMX  Version 6.7.0I used STM32CubeMX to update itself to Version 6.12.0  (to location C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeMX)Problem:I cannot open/edit BLE_HeartRate.ioc file because it says it was created using CubeMX ver 6.11.0 and CubeIDE is using CubeMX ver 6.7.0.. When using STM32CubeIDE, the 'Help About' still reports STM32CubeMX as version 6.7.0. I have no idea how to tell my CubeIDE to use the newer CubeMX. I would think it would be taken care of automatically. What is going on?

Hello We have built OpenSTLinux(Openstlinux-6.1-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23.06.21) for stm32mp157f-dk2 Board and I have built st-image-weston image. Iam new to this Yocto,so I request you to help with the following:How to make changes in dts & dtsi files (u-boot & Linux) and source files and build the image. And Iam working on display, I would like to write an application and run it on the display. So hoping to get help regarding how to add Qt (Qt5) packages and the respective libraries so that i could run a GUI on the display.  Thanks & RegardsSrikanth.R

Hi,I am a research intern working on edge AI for anomaly detection.I am trying to integrate my anomaly detection NEAI model with a Network Management Card project which is in C++(cpp) running on STM32MP1.I would like to know the possibility of integration NEAI anomaly detection static library with a C++ project running on ST MCU.  Thanks in advance!

I have got 3 identical boards with STM32u5a5. For improving ADC accuracy I want to calibrate Vref using Vrefint. This is working fine on one board, but on the other two boards Vrefint reads as 0 using the same software. Other ADC channels seem to work on all boards.Vrefint has been enabled and a delay has been added giving Vrefint time to settle. On the working device I get ADC values around 24600 for Vrefint (left aligned), on the non-working devices exactly 0.Since everything is working fine on one device, I wonder what could be the issue on the other two devices.

Hello,   I am trying to use FDCAN but for some reason interrupt is not triggering. Im using PEAK CAN to send and recieve messages. With osciloscope I can see the data being transfared to the STM board but the interrupt doesn't trigger. The speed I want is 125 kbit/s . I've done this with the CAN before but with FDCAN just cant seem to figure it out. I have enabled FDCAN1 interupt 0 in the NVIC with priority 5. Any idea what should I check? I have a feeling that it might be the filter settings that are wrong but Im just not sure.       I've tried sending data to 0x11 and 0x22 but nothing happens.    Filter and fdcan setup:           /* USER CODE END FDCAN1_Init 1 */ hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1; hfdcan1.Init.ClockDivider = FDCAN_CLOCK_DIV1; hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = ENABLE; hfdcan1.Init.TransmitPause = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.ProtocolEx

The last custom board project I did, the ST contact told me to start with TouchGFX designer (4.20.0) and generate the project from there.  Then I was able to import the existing project into STM32CubeIDE.  However the new version 4.23.2 does not seem to generate the .cproject and .project files in order to import the existing project into STM32CubeIDE.  Is there something I'm missing?

Hello,we're considering to use ASM330LHB in the SIL2 functional safety application and we would like to use and take credit from ST's ASILB-LIBRARY. However ASILB-LIBRARY use-case as it's documented expects that two redundant senors will be employed. Can be ASILB-LIBRARY used only with single IMU source? Thank you for the answer and support@Denise SANFILIPPO thank you for your awesome article on this topic https://community.st.com/t5/mems-and-sensors/how-to-augment-your-automotive-safety-applications-with-the-imu/ta-p/670346

I want to use ThreadX and a Command-Line called letter-shell with CubeIDE, used a uart lib(lwrb) but changed it to HAL, but it will crash when send an costum command. Send string is "func 123 "hello word"".Here are a few of the ways I've tried: First, it works well without ThreadX when using CubeIDE, still used a uart lib(lwrb) but changed it to HAL. Here is the repository(link).Second, I tried porting the program to MDK, everything is same but compiler. The project of CubeIDE and MDK are both in this repository(link). Third, I increased the heap and stack when using CubeIDE and ThreadX, it does not work./* Entry Point */ ENTRY(Reset_Handler) /* Highest address of the user mode stack */ _estack = ORIGIN(RAM) + LENGTH(RAM); /* end of RAM */ /* Generate a link error if heap and stack don't fit into RAM */ _Min_Heap_Size = 0x800; /* required amount of heap */ _Min_Stack_Size = 0x1000; /* required amount of stack */ It's very strange, the question is not letter-sh

i am trying to use multiple channel on a single ADC to measure certain voltages. what i have noticed is that let say i have selected 3 channels now in configuration of cube MX i select no of conversion to 3 and as soon as i do that Ranks get added below where i can select channel for each rank and choose that.Code:HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1,HAL_MAX_DELAY); float voltage1 = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1)*(3.3/4096); HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1,HAL_MAX_DELAY); float voltage2 = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1)*(3.3/4096); HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1,HAL_MAX_DELAY); float voltage3 = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1)*(3.3/4096);now when i run this code i get same output for all the conversion. the output is of the channel with rank 3. If i set the channel with rank 3 to ground i get output as 0 for all the conversion as is the channel with last rank is dominating over other. Is there something wrong in my configuration or the coding part.PS: i am

Greetings,I have STM32Cube IDE installed, created some test apps, blinking LED's, RTOS threads, mutex and so on,writing on UART2 (virtual serial) is working well as I have working output on virtual COM port using putty on serial.I want to access UART3 as I have ESP-01S board connected on CN4 but no success. For the test I have removed ESP-01S and connected USB-RS232 (3.3V) RX/TX pins on CN4, opened another putty on this serial port to see output but whatever I send to it, nothing happens on putty. In test thread I'm doing this: void WifiTask(void const * argument) { uint8_t buffer[64]={0}; int len; for(;;) { len = sprintf((char *)buffer, "AT+GMR\x0d\x0a"); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart3, buffer, len, HAL_MAX_DELAY); osDelay(100); } } But nothing comes out. I have changed all possible combinations of GPIO mode and GPIO Pull up/dn, but serial port is silent as hill.Is there any hint on what should I do to proper initialize this USART3 port?As I said, USART2 is working as

I am aware of the special bits to stop the IWDG and WWDG while the core is halted, but is there a way (option byte, SWD command, SFR, etc.) to configure an STM32G4 so that it will ignore the nRST pin being pulled low? I am particularly interested in being able to reprogram the MCU using SWD without being disrupted by an external supervisory IC. I am guessing this is not possible without changing hardware (forcing reset high with debug pod or appeasing the supervisory IC) but wanted to check.

I am working on LoRa-E5 mini. And I am searching  some document or any informative things so that I can transmit and receive the data using point to point communication. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi,I'm running two timers on STM32F303 which do square wave output on two hardware pins. They are clocked by the 72MHz internal clock. They count down to 0 and reload from ARR register, which sets the output frequency. The two timers run perfectly syncronous, i.e the CNT registers of the timers have a constant offset. Then I permanently have to switch the frequency for both timers by modifying the ARR registers.  As a result the CNT registers of the two timers begin to slip, i.e. the offset is changing.I suspect the following: I modify the two ARR registers consecutively. I check for CNT counters to be high enough so no reload takes place while modifying the ARR registers.  Maybe an interrupt happens in between ARR update for the first counter and ARR update for the second counter. So one CNT register is updated from the old ARR value, the other from the new one. So the two counter values begin to slip. I use the eval board for STM32F303 and initialize all to the default
