Hello,    I am working on a custom board based on STM32F407 CPU with the LSM6DSV16XTR accelerometer+gyroscope and LIS2MDLTR magnetometer. The aim is to get board inclination and compass information with the maximum accuracy. The MotionFX library seems to work fine but the data from magnetometer are not correct since it requires calibration. On CubeMX even if I select the MotionMC software package, the MotionMC library is not added to the output.  I supposed this happen because the Magnetometer calibration functions are already available on the MotionFX library. The MX_MEMS_Process() is called from a FreeRTOS task, SensorReadRequest is set to 1 from a timer as done in the application demo. The problem is that MotionFX_MagCal_getParams(&mag_cal_data_out);does not update the mag_cal_data_out variable. All the hi_bias output values are 0, cal_quality always 0. During calibration I move the board with the typical "8" pattern but nothing happen.

Dear forum,We plan to assemble five LPS22DF sensors on the same I3C bus and (off course) to address them individually. According to the datasheet (7.4.1 MIPI I3CSM CCC supported commands) the answer to GETPID can only have two values, depending on SDO state. Beside that answer to GETBCR and GETDCR are fixed. As far as we understand Dynamic Address Assignment of the I3C protocol, there is an issue. We cannot use the I2C static address, because again it can have only two values, depending on SDO state. We cannot use Enter Test Mode (ENTTM) command, because it is not supported by the LPS22DF. (Even if we could, we might have 5 different random values in the Provisioned IDs, but it would not help so much to identify each sensor.)Thank you in advance

Hi,Backgorund: I am struggling with getting DHCP to work through a W5500 ethernet controller, and have been searching for working examples with limited luck. The SPI connection works fine, and my router can (usually) see the W5500, including the MAC address. DHCP works, at least partially, because my device gets an IP address from the router. However, I cannot connect to the controller from a piece of software. (I get network error 10060)So – I have been spending some days trying to find a working DHCP example, so I might be able to figure out what I am doing wrong. And I just thought that I found one. A complete CubeIDE project for an STM32F103 by @SGatt.1, designed for a W5500. I am trying to generate code using CubeMX (version 6.11.1), using the NUCLEO-H563ZI board to start the project. But, I am getting the following pop-up when trying to use the USART3 peripheral which seems to be unavailable:Because of this, I had to downgrade the version of CubeMX to 6.10.0 to use USART3. However, I observed that even after saving the ioc file, later when we opened the file again CubeMX had overwritten the pins to the default state. Why is this happening and is there any workaround for it?

Hello, Im trying to get a USB PD 3.0 connection betwe en an ST X-Nucleo-DRP1M1() and an power bank or wall adapter. If i ask for the source to give its capabilties, and set up an 5, 9,12, 15 or 20V Vbus voltage the nucleo says it has an capability mismatch. Also it says it can only handle an maximum operating current of 440mA. But i cant find that number anywhere. Hello, I am currently on the (official) example application of BLE_p2pServer from STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.0.0. I am trying to make it work with standby mode and I disabled the advertising timeout for this particular test.BLE is still advertising when in standby mode (before waking up). But it stops after waking up.EDIT: BLE actually stops advertising as soon as it enter standby mode.if( (__HAL_PWR_GET_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_SB) != RESET) && (__HAL_PWR_GET_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_C2SB) != RESET) ) { /* Clear Standby flag */ __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_SB); __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_C2SB); } else { MX_RTC_Init(); APPE_Init(); }From the code, i didnt reinitialize RTC and BLE after exiting standby mode as i thought the microcontroller starts from RESET after exiting standby mode. The microcontroller will enter standby mode when the SCH_Idle() function is called.void SCH_Idle( void ) { #if ( CFG_LPM_SUPPORTED == 1) LL_C2_PWR_SetPowerMode(LL_PWR_MODE_STANDBY); HAL_PWREx_EnableSRAMRetention

I'm using RVT101HVSNWC00-B.I use TouchGFX 4.24.0 to generate initial code. There's no MX_USART2_UART_Init(); , even though I generate code again through CubeMX. I have to add it by myself to initial USART2.

I have tryin many versions of stm32cubeide + reinstalling them + also reinstalling windows 10 and still cannot get running device configuration tool inside ide etc..

I have chosen the STM32F765ZIT7 for my project due to its suitable number of pins and bus interfaces. However, this microcontroller does not support Error Correction Code (ECC) for SRAM. Therefore, I kindly request your recommendation for the best replacement for the STM32F765ZIT7 that includes ECC for SRAM and offers a higher operating temperature range.Thank you!

I'm using cubemx for stm32f401.I have to address several SPI devices using a sing spi bus, and different chip selects. Each SPI device requires a different configuration of CPOL/CPHA.So when the bus is idle (when all the chip selects are high) I use HAL_SPI_Init () to change the settings SPI settings accordingly. This works fine with the exception of the initial idle clock level.Apparantly the SPI controller does not set SCK to the correct idle value until after the first message is sent. The reference manual (RM0368 Rev 5) states on page 564 that:The idle state of SCK must correspond to the polarity selected in the SPI_CR1 register (by pulling up SCK if CPOL=1 or pulling down SCK if CPOL=0) It seems that this isn't implemented in the HAL SPI driver?

hi,I am looking for an example .hex file for the M24M02-DR 2Mbit EEPROM (256k x8 format memory). Could you please point me to it?

From the beginning, I have been using EWARM to build the external loader. However, when following the provided steps for the QSPI flash type, I couldn't fully adapt to them. So, I imported a GitHub file, changed only the dev_inf.c, and generated the ST-LDR file, but it resulted in partial data showing as 0xFFFFFFFF. Now, I need to properly generate the loader. Should I continue using EWARM, or should I switch to generating it in CubeIDE? If it's in CubeIDE, where can I find the linker file for it? I am trying to use the VL53L4CD as a low power tamper sensor so that it interrupts when someone removes a lid.  I am using the ULP driver and I pulled in SetDetectionThresholds from the other driver.  I have been able to configure it to interrupt whenever the lid is outside of a threshold range (in case the lid is smashed in or removed), which seems to do exactly what I want.  However, if I quickly remove the lid completely so that the sensor detects nothing, it does not generate interrupts. Is there a configuration that tells it to interrupt when it sees nothing?

Hi All, I am wondering, does the STM32WL SubGHz MCU support piggybacking, lik the S2LP radio does?thank you, Arjan

Hi,I would like to use the BLE_p2pServer example with the NUCLEO-WBA52CG board as shown in the MOOC example with the NUCLEO-WBA55CC board. Unfortunately, I can only find this example for the NUCLEO-WBA55CG via the “Example Selector”.Is there a way to use this example for the NUCLEO-WBA52CG board?

I know that the library X-CUBE-AUDIO is not compatible with H7 series (only F4 and F7 is supported), but it can be very useful on the H7 mcu, too.Is there any way to make it run on the H747 cpu on M7 core?I want to use mainly SVC (SmartVolume) functionality, but CDC, SCR236, GAM, SDR.Are there any way to run any of these functionalities on H7 cpu?

Hi!Will/Can OpenSTLinux run/support C++ applications that are made with wxWidgets? If not: Can ST Dev team implement it? wxWidgets is using GTK native widgets on linux. GTK is written in C.I recently found that wxWidgets isin't so bad after all, compared to other large frameworks.Check out this ultra pedagogical GUI tutorial for C++.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjQhp0eHmJw&list=PLFk1_lkqT8MbVOcwEppCPfjGOGhLvcf9G&index=1

Hello,I'm using a Nucleo-WB55RE board with Quad SPI in single mode.  I'm trying to start very simply by just reading the chip id from a Riverdi BT81X display.  I have captured two waveforms, one via a Nucleo-446 board using regular SPI and one from the WB55.My QUAD SPI settings are as follows:Per the datasheet, REG_ID is at address, 302000h:This is my function to try and retrieve the chip id, everything is hard coded at the moment, just trying to understand the process of using the Command and Transmit/Receive functionality.  The datasheet uint8_t TFT_qspi_read_id() { uint8_t pData[4] = {0x00}; QSPI_CommandTypeDef sCommand = { 0 }; /* Enable Reset --------------------------- */ sCommand.InstructionMode = QSPI_INSTRUCTION_1_LINE; sCommand.Instruction = 0x30; sCommand.AddressMode = QSPI_ADDRESS_NONE; sCommand.AlternateByteMode = QSPI_ALTERNATE_BYTES_NONE; sCommand.DataMode = QSPI_DATA_1_LINE; sCommand.DummyCycles = 0; sCommand.NbData = 4; sCommand.DdrMode

Hi,I have a bootloader for my application, at the moment they exchange their working status by flash write. I think a better way is to declare a variable in RAM with the same address in both bootloader and application. Someone mentioned, in a post, that the linker script could be used for this, but didn't give an example.Anybody could do me a favour and show me an example ? Thanks.

Hi there! Are there any plans to add a hardware math accelerator in addition to the cordic and fmac that supports FFT's and other matrix operations entirely in hardware and runs in parallel to the CPU and communicates via DMA? A good example of this is the NXP PowerQuad hardware: https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN12282.pdf. I am using STM32 MCU's for audio synthesis/synthesizers and whilst the cordic/fmac is useful, having 2 cordics and 2 fmacs would be a LOT more useful, and even better, having a dedicated FFT hardware or vector processor with math capabilities that is independent of the main processor would be super useful.  Are there any plans to add something like this to your MCU lineup? Thanks.

Hello all,   I am trying to add two virtual COM ports on STM32WB5MMHGx device. The initial code is based out of STM32Cube example: Ux_Device_CDC_ACM. I initially added this piece of code to register the class.       cdc_acm_parameter2.ux_slave_class_cdc_acm_instance_activate = USBD_CDC_ACM_Activate2; cdc_acm_parameter2.ux_slave_class_cdc_acm_instance_deactivate = USBD_CDC_ACM_Deactivate2; cdc_acm_parameter2.ux_slave_class_cdc_acm_parameter_change = USBD_CDC_ACM_ParameterChange2; uint32_t code; if ( code = ux_device_stack_class_register("ACM2", ux_device_class_cdc_acm_entry, cdc_acm_configuration_number, cdc_acm_interface_number, &cdc_acm_parameter2) != UX_SUCCESS ) { UNUSED(code); /* USER CODE BEGIN USBX_DEVICE_CDC_ACM_REGISTER_ERORR */ return UX_ERROR; /* USER CODE END USBX_DEVICE_CDC_ACM_REGISTER_ERORR */ }        Memory pool and USB stack sizes were increased so that this registration process succeds. Hello all, Following up on https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/usbx-dual-composite-cdc-acm-not-working/td-p/708277, I tried to implement the same Dual CDC-ACM on STM32H723 Nucleo. I have run into the same issues. With just one CDC_ACM class registration, the example works well. But when two classes are registered, it is gibberish on the COM port (UART). uint8_t UserClassInstance[USBD_MAX_CLASS_INTERFACES] = { CLASS_TYPE_CDC_ACM, CLASS_TYPE_CDC_ACM }; Similar to the previous post, I have modified ux_device_descriptors.c to correctly add the endpoints to the device framework string. With this change, I am able to see two ACM devices on Linux. [ +5.485446] usb 1-4.3.2: new full-speed USB device number 48 using xhci_hcd [ +0.191080] usb 1-4.3.2: New USB device found, idVendor=0483, idProduct=5740, bcdDevice= 2.00 [ +0.000006] usb 1-4.3.2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3 [ +0.000002] usb 1-4.3.2: Product: STM32 Virt
