Hi Pascal, We have designed a custom PCB, and I’m attaching the schematic for your reference. Since we don’t have a dedicated UART, we have not enabled trace embedding. We are using X-CUBE FreeRTOS 1.3 with STM32U575VGT6. The USB dual-role functionality worked correctly when tested on the Nucleo board (STM32U575), but it is not working on our custom board. We encountered the following errors: OS_CAD_PRIORITY OS_PE_PRIORITY DPM_Sleep_start I have attached the error message and code files. Please check and guide us on resolving this issue. Thanks & Regards, Rajkumar.

Hello everyoneWe are developing a prototype of vibration monitor system . Now we are in optimization stage , reducing the power of the device . We are using SeedStudio Lora E5 HF (STM32WE5) (US915) https://files.seeedstudio.com/products/317990687/res/LoRa-E5+module+datasheet_V1.0.pdf  , and programing it using STM32CubeIDE and this code base https://github.com/Seeed-Studio/LoRaWan-E5-Node/tree/qian.  Our target is to reduce the tx power . However there's many configuration around that and it's not clear the final dBm . This module can give up to 22dBm on TX according to the specs . We would like to reduce it to 6dBm to save power .Right now I'm playing around with SUBGRF_SetTxParams function and I was able to see a change in current consumption when the device is transmitting .But still having some these questions :How can I calculate or know what is the final dBm ? to achieve the 6dBmUsing this official middleware guaranteed the FCC certification or

I'm thinking to control for VDDA on the STM32H563.I'm considering by the red line in the diagram below, but are there any problems?I'm considering when VDDX independent from VDD, can be rising and falling VDDA.Please advise for me.Best regard.

How to use TouchGFX with an MCU and a TFT that isn't listed in TouchGFX ? My board is a Nucleo-STM32H753ZI and the TFT is an ILI9486 420 x 380. Thanks.

Hi everyone,I am working with the STEVAL-25R200SA evaluation board using the ST25R200 GUI software, and everything is functioning correctly. However, I would like to develop my own software instead.Using X-CUBE-NFC10 Middleware:Can I use the X-CUBE-NFC10 middleware to read and write NFC tags with this board?I attempted to generate the necessary files, but the generator is not working properly. Specifically, the file "nfc_conf.h" is not being generated as expected, causing errors.Understanding the Existing Firmware:I have access to the firmware code for the STEVAL-25R200SA, but it is quite complex.I am unsure which parts of the code are essential and which can be ignored.Could someone guide me on how to approach this or point me to relevant documentation?i don't need to use uart for example.Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I purchase one M5STAck COREMP135, it noticed work for linux, but when I use the software, it can't handle user account , only use root login. Then I try build image by myself, the github support was 2-3 years ago.I see one training company - Bootlin support STM 135 , but they didn't support COREMP135.Compare with Beaglebone black, the M5STACK-COREMP135 is too bad in software side.

Hello. I follow your instruction to generate a touchGFX project.  „How to TouchGFX: Creating my first GUI with TouchGFX Designer for STM GUI aplications“I‘m using the latest version of all Program for the STM32Cube family. The project compile in TouchGFX with no error. It so possible to download it to the board. All work fine. But after import to CubeIDE there is no xxx.ioc file include. I‘m not able to change hardware setting to onboard LED turn on and off.

Hello Community,I have been working on CAN for two days, and I haven't been able to figure out the baud rate issue I'm facing. I'm using the HSE as the clock source with a value of 25MHz, as mentioned in the UM2248 document (I'm using the STM32L4R9I-EVAL evaluation board). I've configured the baud rate to 500kbps, but it doesn't work. I suspect the microcontroller switches to the HSI clock at 16MHz. When I reconfigure the baud rate to 500kbps with a 16MHz clock, it works fine. However, when I check the schematics of the board, I see that the X2 crystal is at 16MHz. This creates confusion between the clock value defined in the UM2248 document and the board schematics. Could you please explain why there is a difference between the X2 value in the UM2248 document and the schematics of the evaluation board?Additionally, could you share the schematics for the STM32L4R9I-EVAL MB1313-B-03 board? I couldn't find this exact version online.Thank you very much for your help.  Schamtic li

Good afternoon,we are facing issue with AES GCM Tag generated with STM32U585.In particular we compare the results generated by the microcontroller with the ones generated by an application developed with C#.This is the code running on the microcontrollerKey size is 256 Bit set to all 0 just to speed operations. Tag size is 128 bit. I know that the IV vector must have the last byte set as 2 an I dit it as requested.    uint32_t pKeyAES[8] = {0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000}; uint32_t pInitVectAES[4] = {0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000002}; __ALIGN_BEGIN static const uint32_t HeaderAES[4] __ALIGN_END = { 0x24825602,0xbd12a984,0xe0092d3e,0x448eda5f};   Plaintext is a simple 48 bytes buffer (so a multiple of 16).The EncryptedText is identical to the one generated by the application: good.On the other hand the generated Tag is always different....maybe we are doing something wrong....could

I'm just starting to learn about MCUs and am reviewing the datasheet for the STM8S003F3. In the pin description table, I came across some symbols that I'm not quite sure about, such as bold X with underline (X), regular X (X), and dash (-). What do these symbols mean?

Hello everyone,I’m working on a project in STM32CubeIDE with C, and I’d like to add a C++ library. I’ve read that it’s possible to mix C and C++ using different compilers, but in my project settings (C/C++ Build > Settings > Paths and Symbols), I only see the GNU C compiler (arm-none-eabi-gcc).How can I add the C++ compiler (arm-none-eabi-g++) in STM32CubeIDE?Do I need to change any other settings to properly handle mixed C and C++ code in the project?Thank you for your help!

Hi All, I was testing my new STM32H746XIH6 board and met the post below by @GSpre.1 during a search about SDRAM  performance. GSpre.1 - Performance characteristics of SDRAM on STM32F7508-DISCO board I don't have a lot of time to read MPU documentation, maybe someone has an idea about the code piece below that @GSpre.1  adviced.  I did not perform a precise measurement but used Systick for both internal and external (32-bit SDRAM) memory array manipulation time for the same data length. (I-Cache and D-Cache are both enabled as expected.)Internal memory test:  12ms External memory test: 47ms without the code below  External memory test: 13ms.with the code below * What exactly the code below does ? * Am I compromising from anything for speed ?  There are a lot of job to do during board bring-up I have no time to read a lot of documentation. I will be appreciated if

Hi,I'm using STM32WB5MMG and placed it in the top left corner of the PCB as recommended. The component assembly is top side only so I can't place the decoupling capacitors for VDD, VDDA, VREF+. Also, the schematic of Sparkfun's MicroMod Processor using STM32WB5MMG has a Note: "Decoupling capacitors are integrated onboard the module." So, I'm confused now. However, I've enough space to add 4.7uF Capacitor which is recommended to eliminate ripple on power supply. So, is it okay to completely drop these 100nF decoupling capacitors from the schematic itself which are shown in MB1292 (STM32WB5MMG Discovery Kit)? Will it make a difference for being there or not in this module's case? Thanks & Regards,Sumit

Hi allim using the STM32L4R9AI evaluation board ,with IS66WVH8M8BLL HyperRam memomry.with the help of AN5050 i try to communicate with this device in memomry map modeand also toke for reference the memory map mode in STM32CubeH7 package (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7/tree/master/Projects/STM32H735G-DK/Examples/OSPI/OSPI_HyperRAM_MemoryMapped)) i notice that during my memoey allocation operation the MCU not putting the data in the desire location and it not working as expected.the behavior that i saw in that the data was written into the device but not in order. Is it due to this device in PSRAM ?i saw at ERRATA es0393-stm32l4rxxx @ 2.8.22 that OSPI not supported in PSRAM ,but i am working with the HyperBus and also in the device DS also noted that itusing a self-refresh DRAM array organized ( so it is not regular PSRAM )please see below my code that i'm using.the FREQ is 120 MHz..please find attached my code ,INIT, HperRam Deviceappritiate an

Hi,this is my MCU code: STM32H563VGT6. I'm working to a porting from Texas to ST.I need to efficently use the two Rx FIFO (3 messages depth) of the FDCAN module. In Texas I had 32 mailbox divided into transmission and reception. Each FIFO has four buffer.I need to accept all messages I receive.I would like to find a way to fill FIFO 0 and then move to FIFO 1.The only solution I found is to create two range filter: one for the first half part of IDs space assigned to FIFO 0, the second for the rest of IDs space assigned to FIFO 1.In this way I'm going to overload FIFO 0 or FIFO 1, depending on the IDs that I receive. There is a way to maximize the use of two receive FIFO ? Thank you.Regards.

I am making a board using your WLC38RX chip.I had a problem during the experiment. When I applied a load and then disconnected it, the board rebooted. So I found a solution. When I updated the Rx f/w, the reboot did not occur. In order to find the parameter that affected it, I manually changed the config settings from the initial state without f/w update to the same as after the f/w update, but the board still rebooted.I wonder why there is a difference when the Rx registers config settings are the same.Is there an invisible setting value? The f/w used is STEVAL-WLC38RX_config_1F46_EPP.memh.

Hello, i need help with na stm32l031k6, I want to just start the processor and read it with an st-link v2, I have connected BOOT0 to GND(i haven't added a 10k resistor, but that shouldn't be the problem ), NRST with pull-up 1k to VDD, VDDA and VDD are connected together. From what I read online I can pass without the external crystal because there is an internal one. So when I connect the VDD to 3v3 on the st-link, the GND to the st-link GND, SWCLK to PA14, SWDIO to PA13 and the chip isn't recognized. I have ruled out an faulty st link because it recognizes a blue pill f103 board. Please tell me if I am forgetting something

I am starting some test with this modulehttps://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005002482177244.htmlwith 7” lcdI have found only one example that run but with TouchgfxI have got the same ioc from this example to generate a new code and insert the functions to switch on lcd but still no resultI would like to use the normal functionsBSP_LCD_Init() ;BSP_LCD_DisplayStringAt(10, 80, buf, LEFT_MODE);BSP_LCD_DrawBitmap(0, 0, (uint8_t *)(&BackGround0));

I can connect in STM32CubeProgrammer my BluePill but can't do that in STM32CubeIDE. I fixed that my ST-LINK's pins were reverse in it. The problem I get is,Error in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: ST-LINK: Could not verify ST device! Abort connection.I have downloaded STSW-LINK009 already. Can you help me?

Hello Guys,I am searching for a MCU to drive dual LCD screens. Although I see some MCU (eg, STM32U5G9ZJTXQ) providing both DSI and RGB mode interfaces without pinout collision, I didn't see any description about whether the LTDC can output 2 different images to the different interfaces respectively. Can I get your experiences sharing? Thanks in advance,SRONY

Hello,We have a project that uses STM32WB55 as the main controller. This project has certain requirements for power consumption and wants to enter sleep mode through stop2 mode. But I tested the power consumption current of stop2 mode on the STM32WB55 DK board (Nucleo-WB55) and it was 107uA.  We have configured RTC and external interrupts to wake up stop2 mode, and we want its power consumption current in stop2 mode to be less than 5uA.May I ask if the power consumption current can reach 5uA when enabling RTC Alarm A and external interrupt to enter stop2 mode?I used the routine on the stm32wb55 official website to test the stop2 mode: STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.22.0\Projects\P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Examples_LL\PWR\PWR_EnterStopModeI added serial port printing and configuration before entering stop2 mode to this routine. Now I have configured the MSI clock to 100Khz.void EnterStop2Mode(void) { LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef gpio_initstruct = {LL_GPIO_PIN_ALL, LL_GPIO_MODE_ANALOG, LL_GPIO_SPEED
