I am using the 2 stm32wb55rev6 controller and i have uploaded the latest version of the FUS and the stack ble full firmware.I am not able to connect to the client by using the server.

Hi, I am debugging an STM32H563ZI with the following environment:OS: Ubuntu 20.04 LTSSTM32CubeMX: 6.15.0Visual Studio Code: 1.102.3Extensions:STM32Cube Bundles Manager: 0.23.3STM32Cube Debug STLink GDB Server: 0.10.1STM32Cube Registers View: 0.3.0Board: NUCLEO-H563ZIIn this setup, after launching the debugger, I cannot find a way to inspect the values in Flash, RAM, or the registers of the Cortex-M33 peripherals.Regarding memory, I tried installing the "MemoryView" extension, but I am still unable to view the values. Are there any alternative extensions with similar functionality?Regarding peripheral debugging, while I can see registers for peripherals like GPIO and ADC on STM32CUBE REGISTERS TREE, I cannot find the Cortex-M core peripherals like the SCB (System Control Block) and NVIC (Nested Vectored Interrupt Controller) . How can I view these?

In the STM32 model zoo github repo, only the STM32U5 is listed as a recommended platform for the Audio Event Detection models.I'm trying to work out why the STM32N6 (and other devices) are not listed. Is it because it has not yet been tested, or is there truly some reason the platform is not suitable? Thanks,Louis

When measuring my VIPER267K flyback power supply, I noticed that the frequency and duty cycle of its VDS waveform kept jittering. Is this normal? What could be causing this?

As they don't have the same functionalities, how to know to which circuit exactly we are addressing?ST25R3911B or ST25R3912 or ST25R3914 or ST25R3915ST25R3916 or ST25R3917 or ST25R3918 or ST25R3920ST25R3916B or ST25R3917B or ST25R3919B or ST25R3920BST25R100 or ST25R200ST25R300 or ST25R500 or ST25R501It seems each chip in the same group share the the same `ic_type` & `ic_rev`, so how to distinguish them in firmware?

Hi,I'm working on a design containing a STM32U535. I need to connect it to a SDHC interface (µSDHC connector). The STM32U5 documentation talks about a SDMMC1_CKIN signal. It is not clear to me if this signal is always required or not. I think the documentation is not clear on this.I do not use external transceiver and I don't need UHS-1 speed (1.8V mode). Is there a reference design with a STM32U5 and a (µ)SDHC connector ? I have not been able to find one.Nicolas

I am using the LSM6DSV80X to get roll-pitch-yaw from SFLP and gyro reading. I noticed that the sensor keeps reporting increasing yaw and increasing offset for X axis while at rest even though the data sheet suggests that it should have up to only 1dps offset. How do I fix this?Settings:Accelerometer full-scale: 16gGyro full-scale: 4000dps (also show 4dps offset and yaw at 500dps)ODR: 480 for accelerometer, gyro, and SFLPThank you

Hello,I'm just a begginer with embedded and STM32 so bare with me please.I was trying to follow a program tutorial to periodically blink an LED using a timer channel in PWM generation mode. I have an STM32 Nucleo h755zi-q board, I set the integrated LED on pin PB0 to it's alternate function which is timer 3 channel 3, I assigned timer 3 to core C7 turned on internal clock as source and set channel 3 to PWM generation. I used different setups but for example 200 Mhz on the clock, prescaler 19999, autoreload 9999, pulse 5000. I left everything else as default and generated the code and only added this line"HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim3, TIM_CHANNEL_3);"right before the infinite loop in the main function. This should make the user LED on pin PB0 blink periodically with 1 Hz frequency I think. But the LED isn't doing anything at all.I'm using CubeIDE obviously and using just a basic timer with interrupt works flawlessly, so where is the mistake?Sorry for low details, I'm currently in a rush

1.Does the STM32H743VIT6 microcontroller include a HASH peripheral that supports SHA-256 operations?I am planning to implement HMAC-SHA256 verification for my application, but I have not found clear documentation confirming the presence of a compatible HASH peripheral.2.If I implement HMAC-SHA256 purely through software, how much time will it take to compute the hash for 1MB of flash data?I would like to understand the performance implications of a software-based approach compared to using the hardware HASH peripheral.

Hello Everybody,Here are the software and boards in this case:1. MC workbench 6.3.22. NUCLEO-F401RE3. X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1I try to use the boards to obtain motor parameters. Now I got the result as illustrated in the picture? Should I set the parameter "placement electrical angle" to 131? Thank you!

Hello all, this post just to know if the L9788 Automotive Engine Management System IC can be interfaced to a microcontroller via SPI instead of MSC bus (single ended interface instead of differential one). Thanks a lot,Regards.AC.

As previously mentioned in the other post I am using the 2 stm32wb55rev6 controller.I have setted the initial node connected to the cube monitor (using the aci facilities menu) to sca mode. And set the pheripheral application running on the other board (BLE_p2p SERVER).In normal mobile app i am able to see the Ble p2p_server but while i am scanning in the transparent mode i am not able to see the p2p_server.This is the p2p_server that is showing in the app. This is the transparent mode peripheral (STM32WB) in the app while advertising. In the cube monitor p2p_server is ot showing. What is the issue? How to resolve this?

Hello,        In my case, the STHS34PF80 sensor module is powered using I2C communication with the ESP32 module, and I have tested its functionality only up to 2 feet; beyond that, it fails to detect any presence. However, the datasheet indicates that it should cover 4 meters without a lens in an 80-degree field of view. What might be the reasons for this discrepancy?

Greetings,   I am using STM32-L073RZ nucleo board for the testing of ADC watchdog and sleep mode. I want to keep my instrument in sleep mode and when ADC readings increased by few counts then I want to wake-up my controller.    I have written below mentioned code but it seems like my controller is not getting into sleep mode. "uwTick" keeps increasing and ADC watchdog interrupt is not getting triggered. Also, there are no other interrupts in use.    I have referred this other post and my settings are same as him but I am not using DMA.  (Link)   Code:  /* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * Copyright (c) 2025 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved. * * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE

Hi, For my application I need to output the same signal on 2 different IO Pins. I need to use a timer because the signal has to have extremely accurate timing. As a first iteration, I allocated 1 GPIO pin to TIM CH2 and the other GPIO Pin to TIM CH3. I then asked myself the question of why am I wasting a timer channel 3 (which I could desperately use for other things). If the 2 signals will always be the same, why not just take another GPIO pin and write set the alternate function regitsers also to TIM2 CH2, obviously that will then change the specific IO Pin. But that doesn't concern me at this stage of development. I then did this, and it works. I outputted the waveform from Timer 2 Channel 2 on two IO Pins simultaneously. I used Register Access level code to do this. For interest sake, I wanted to then change a IOC file in CubeIDE to do the same thing I mentioned above and it's impossible. CubeIDE prevents me from doing this using their IOC settings. I

Hello, I am working on a low-power STM32 system. In my original configuration I was running the core at 32 MHz (PLL from HSI16) with Voltage Scaling 1, and in this setup USB CDC worked without any issues. To reduce power consumption, I reconfigured the system to run the core at 16 MHz HSI (no PLL) while keeping Voltage Scaling 1. The USB clock source is HSI48. With this configuration, when connecting to a USB 3.0 host port, the device often crashes during enumeration. Sometimes it enumerates fine, but most of the time it fails. Interestingly, if I connect the device through a USB 2.0 hub, the problem does not appear. From my research, I found that:   - USB 2.0 controllers are more tolerant and usually accept HSI48’s +/-1–2% drift.   - USB 3.0 controllers are stricter, and if HSI48 drift exceeds +/-0.25%, CRC errors occur. This causes descriptors to get corrupted and Windows shows a crash or device not recognized. My question:What are the recommended ways to avoid this issue w

Hello everyone,This is my first post here, so if there's anything wrong with the way I've formatted or presented it, please feel free to let me know.My current task involves switching from USB HOST to USB CDC. I used CubeMX to generate the necessary USB CDC-related files and integrated them into my original program. On my PC, the program works as expected and is recognized correctly as a COM port. However, on my coworkers' PCs, the device is not recognized as a COM port. Both our PC are win11, and after checking, win11 seems no longer requires the installation of the STM Virtual COM Port driver. Is there anything we can do to further clarify or resolve this issue?

Hi,My question is in regard with SLEEP_DUR of the register WAKE_UP_DUR.Datasheet "LSM6DSV16X" (p98) mentions:Duration to go in sleep mode. Default value: 0000 (this corresponds to 16 ODR) 1 LSB = 512/ODR_XL time"Whereas the "AN5763" (p60) instead specify:SLEEP_DUR_[3:0] bits of the WAKE_UP_DUR register: 1 LSB corresponds to 514 / ODR_XL time, where ODR_XL is the accelerometer output data rate. If the SLEEP_DUR_[3:0] bits are set to 0000, the duration of the inactivity state to be recognized is equal to 18 / ODR_XL time. Not that the very similar specs impact product design itself, however I would prefer to know the correct one.Thank you,

Hello,     I am trying to write code for a transmit and receive program in FDCAN (Classic Mode) , I have configured the PCLK1 as 170MHz,  Can I select this PCLK1 as the FDCAN clock in the FDCAN Clock Mux?

STM32G474RET – When I try to set up a DMA, I get this message: “No available DMA request for this peripheral.”I haven’t configured any other DMA.With a different MCU, it worked fine before.I’m using CubeIDE version 1.16.0. Any ideas would be really helpful, as I’m new to STM32.

Hi, i am using a STM32F411 for the first time and i am not familiar with the crystal oscillator schematic symbol provided by EasyEDA. Can someone validate this circuit and, eventually, poit out what's wrong plase? Any help would be apreciated

Hello, I am using firmware STM32CubeF1 v.1.8.6, the STM32Cube MCU Package for the STM32F1 series. The folder name in the Repository is STM32Cube_FW_F1_V1.8.6 (version 1.8.6).In order to stay current I downloaded the latest the patch for STM32CubeF1, which is v.1.8.6, see the screenshot below. To my surprise the downloaded zip file 'stm32cubef1-v1-8-6.zip' contains the initial version STM32Cube_FW_F1_V1.8.0. Question: is v1.8.0 the correct patch version for STM32CubeF1 v.1.8.6? It seems 'down rev'.Thank you for your response!

Detail: I use CubeMX to create a CMake project and edit it in VSCode. My target MCU is STM32WBA54KGUx. I configured the STM32_WPAN, then clicked generate code. In VSCode, when I clicked the "build" button (or run task "Cmake: clean rebuild"), the build command returned an error of multiple definition. It turned out, the gcc build command linked two same file named "stm32wbaxx_ResetHandler_GCC.s.obj". Further investigation revealed that the "stm32wbaxx_ResetHandler_GCC.s" file located in /Projects/Common/WPAN/Startup/ is built twice:[build] [15/89] Building ASM object CMakeFiles/wba54_test.dir/Projects/Common/WPAN/Startup/stm32wbaxx_ResetHandler_GCC.s.obj[build] [81/89] Building ASM object cmake/stm32cubemx/CMakeFiles/Startup.dir/__/__/Projects/Common/WPAN/Startup/stm32wbaxx_ResetHandler_GCC.s.objTemporary Fix: Go to /cmake/stm32cubemx/CMakeLists.txt and comment out the "Startup" in the "# Project static libraries" section (around line 178). But CubeMX will overwrite it anyway when re-g

Hey all.As per tradition, my first post in this community will be a question. In the same way that I can run pre- and post-build commands that is run when I build a project in STM32cube, is it possible to run a post code generation command when I generate code from the .ioc file?- Moose
