STM32CubeMx version is 6.12.1.The power and thermal option is not available for STM32G474xx devices project in STM32CubeMx.The same is available for the STM32U5Xxx devices project. How to set the wake-up modes if the power and thermal option is not available?

Hello, I am trying to follow the Getting started with the STEVAL-WLC38RX document for FOD tuning attached. I am using STEVAL-WBC86TX, powered from a bench top PSU,  and STEVAL-WLC38RX, connected to an electronic load. Both are connected to the STMGUI. Following section 9.4 on page 60 of the above mentioned document. I have set all BPP FOD values to 0. When using the RX FOD tuning page, as per the document, the Prx value is being read correctly. However, the Ptx value is continuously reported as 1084. This value does not change despite and current draw increasing on the PSU.Why is it that the Ptx value is not changing?Kind regards,Lewis

Hi,I recently started working on a custom board using the STM32U5G9ZJT6Q microcontroller. I'm planning on using TouchGFX with LTDC, DMA2D and GPU2D to implement a graphical user interface and AzureRTOS as rtos.I am encountering a problem when, in the main function, the microcontroller hard faults during the MX_TouchGFX_PreOSInit function, in particular at the FrontendHeap& heap = FrontendHeap::getInstance() call.I am using STM32CubeIde 1.19.0 with STM32CubeMX 6.15.0 and TouchGFX 4.25.0. I also tried with TouchGFX 4.24.2 with no luck unfortunately. Here are the screenshots of the hard fault info, stacktrace, and disassembly as shown by STM32CubeIde:I also attached a minimal project in which I only configured the relevant intefaces and middlewares and in which the problem still occurs.I already made sure that the CRC peripheral is enabled as suggested in other posts I found.  Sorry if I made some mistakes as it is my first time posting, and thank you for any help you ca

Hello ST Community,I'm working on an STM32N6570-DK project where I've merged two example codes from the STM32CubeN6 repository:1 . DCMIPP_ContinuousModehttps://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeN6/tree/main/Projects/STM32N6570-DK/Applications/DCMIPP/DCMIPP_ContinuousMode   Used for capturing data from the IMX335 camera and displaying it on LTDC.2 . Nx_WebServerhttps://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeN6/tree/main/Projects/STM32N6570-DK/Applications/NetXDuo/Nx_WebServerModified to set a static IP and transmit packets over Ethernet and not using the SD card part and FileX.The merged code compiles successfully in STM32CubeIDE. I've attached a ZIP file containing the full merged project for reference.Initially, I used the linker script (STM32N6XX_AXISRAM2_fsbl.ld) , which allocates 512KB of RAM (255K + 256K) and manages Ethernet buffers, I attached .txt file named WORKING.Camera image is visible on the LCD.Ethernet packets (with static data) are sent at ~900

Hi all, I am working on a project based on the STM32WB55MMG, where I want to use the AES module to encrypt data using a previsouly programmed key in the FUS.I have downloaded the corresponding key with the command STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=JTAG -wusrkey XXX_key.bin keytype=1 but it would seem that the key has been written in index 1, not 0 as I was expecting. If I try to load the key using SHCI_C2_FUS_LoadUsrKey(0) it returns SHCI_FUS_CMD_NOT_SUPPORTED but if I try with index 1 instead it returns SHCI_SUCCESS.I cannot confirm the written index as the command line did not return the actual index where the key was written. In fact, I think this is a known issue when downloading a key using SWD.My question is if index 0 is reserved for another purpose and actually the first slot that can effectively be written with a general user key is 1. Thanks in advance.

Hi !I have troubles with using cmake and STM32CubeIDE on my laptop: I am trying to compile a project, and when I use the build (hammer) button, it errors out with this:**** CMake Configure of configuration Debug for project gamma_focal ****C:\Program Files\CMake\bin\cmake.exe -S . -B build/Debug -GUnix Makefiles -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug -DCMAKE_EXPORT_COMPILE_COMMANDS=ONCannot run program: "cmake": Ensure CMake is installed and available from the system PATH. However, when I type the command in my terminal, it works nicely (I have to insert quotes to format the shell command correctly). So Cmake is on my path. I verified it was inside both user and system level env variables. It is also inside the Pathenvironment variables inside Properties -> C/C++ Build -> Environment. I believe this is likely a bug, the same project on my co-worker computer's compiles OK. I am using STM32CubeIDE version 1.18.0, and it also didn't work when switching to version 1.18.1. I'm on a window

Hi Team,I have used this part EMIF06-MSD04F3 in my design. Now i'm moving ahead for production. Is there any drop in replacement or recommended alternates? Thanks Manikandan R

I have some Pulse induction metal detector analog designs that I want to "digitalize" using a Stm32f407vet6 board. Unfortunately, these designs use the battery positive as ground. My intention is to power the Stm32 from the +5v rail of the detector power supply and then use logic in the Stm32 to generate the pulse timings and to read the preamp output with the ADC to check for metal detecting and eventually add some kind of discrimination logic. My problem is the detector design that uses VB+ as ground so how can I power the stm32 properly and also give the ADC correct vref ?I attached the pulse induction detector schematic I want to use as base and also the stm32f407vet6 schematic. Thanks for the help.

Today I bought a new NUCLEO-H563ZI board and downloaded the STM32CubeH5 main software package from www.st.com. But when I compile the example "STM32CubeH5 main \ Projects \ NUCLEO-H563ZI \ Applications \ NetXDuo \ Nx_UDP_Cho_Server" with IAR, it prompts that some files is missing. I had to download the missing files from elsewhere and put them in. Finally, the compilation passed, but after burning the out file into the board, the program could not run properly. After debugging, it was found that there was a DMA error in the Ethernet. I changed an other example to compile, burn, and debug. the same mistake. I don't know how to solve it. By the way the net cable and the led of the ethnet socket CN14 is ok. Can ST provide a complete examples package for the NUCLEO-H563ZI board?   Title edited by ST moderator to reflect the content of the post.

I did not understand the significance of the number 65536 in the below codepHandle->OvfFreq = (uint16_t)(pHandle->TIMClockFreq / 65536U); /* Set fixed to 150 ms */ pHandle->HallTimeout = 150U; /* Compute the prescaler to the closet value of the TimeOut (in mS )*/ pHandle->HALLMaxRatio = (pHandle->HallTimeout * pHandle->OvfFreq) / 1000U ; /* Align MaxPeriod to a multiple of Overflow.*/ pHandle->MaxPeriod = pHandle->HALLMaxRatio * 65536UL;My main confusion is how the OvfFreq with division of 65536 help the code to reduce the calculations. According to my understanding if TIMClockFreq = 170MHz then the time is T = 1/170Mhz i get overflow after 65535, so if the number of overflows are OverflowCnt then the total time elapsed will be 65535*1/170MHz*OverflowCnt + Input capture timer registers.

Hi all,Please help to point me where I did a wrong.  I have different widget on the main screen, and when I switched back and forth, the main screen (where there are most widgets implemented) intermittently not display all the widgets.  Sometime I got text box not display, sometime I got the toggle button not display but just show the rectangular box showing the button box.  For example, in this picture, the whole square box (this is the area for the toggle button) dis empty showing the gray area. The behaviors seems like the widgets not display are the one toward the end of the widgets list.

Hi everyone. I have a STM32H745I-Disco board and I am using both TouchGFX and CubeIDE to make a project with the board. So the issue I am encountering is that when I wrote or made some adjustments in the both applications the project seems fine (when i built the project in CubeIDE it gave 0 errors or the simulator in the TouchGFX worked just fine) but when I try to debug to project in to the board using the debugger in the TouchGFX the application shows it debugged just fine but there is nothing showing up on the board afterwards. When I try to debug a blank new created project it shows up on the screen but when I'm trying to debug a project with some images or fdcan codes with it the issue I've just said shows up. I don't know what's the problem.

Hello,I have developed a custom board based on the MB997E reference design, which uses the EMIF02-USB03F2 for USB EMI filtering and ESD protection. Since this component has been declared obsolete, I would like to know:What is the recommended replacement part from STMicroelectronics for EMIF02-USB03F2?If no direct replacement exists, what are the suggested alternative solutions (e.g., other ST EMI/ESD filter ICs, or combination of discrete ESD diodes and common-mode chokes) that can be used in new designs? Are there any application notes or migration guidelines provided for updating designs that currently rely on EMIF02-USB03F2?This information would help me update my design to ensure long-term availability and compliance.

Hi,  I'm trying to use my P-NUCLEO-WB55.USBDongle with the BLE_TransparentModeVCP_reference.hex firmware.Following the documentation I have updated FUS and installed the latest (V1.23.0)  stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_extended_fw.bin wireless firmware:   Afterwards, I flashed BLE_TransparentModeVCP_reference.hex, put SW2 into run mode and reconnected the dongle. It shows up in device manager as a COM Port, but connecting with STM32CubeMonitor-RF fails:I also tried building the TransparentModeVCP Firmware from source, but it fails the same way. What am I doing wrong?

What is the default value of HP_SLOPE_XL_EN in the CTRL8_XL (17h) register of ASM330LHH?

Hello, I am using the STM32CubeMonitor software for the first time and find it very helpful. My question is about the root cause for erroneous zero values in the time series displayed by the STM32CubeMonitor software. It's first first use was monitoring the joystick x/y displacement signals of the Adafruit Gamepad QT. Question: What is the root cause for the phenomenon of erroneous zero values? Are parameters in my Basic Flow configuration incorrect? (Note: the zero values are not consistently present in the graphs, sometimes the signals are 'clean'.)Question: where are the Monitor Flow files saved on disc (Windows 11).Technical details:Figure 1 shows the test setup with the Gamepad and the Nucleo-G071RB board. Pairs of 16-bit data points were received by the Nucleo board using the I2C protocol (hi2c1). I confirmed that the x/y signal integrity was good: no outliers or erroneous values were received by the Nucleo board, the I2C master.Figure 2 shows a Basic Flow used with the

I use STWD100NY Watchdog IC and for now, i can not achieve what i want. The problem is about to get output from the WDO pin. I did not connect the WDO to the MCU but i connect it to drive a relay. I set up my timer to 4 seconds. Even if it exceeds the twd time, i can not get the signal from WDO pin. I attach my drawings below and needs your help. My Vcc is 5V( most setups use 3.3v but i think that i can choose it 5V according to datasheet ). R25 and R26 resistors are optional.

Hi ST Community ,Does this position of the board and the copper zone is OK for the STM32WB5M MCU and the antenna ? because all dev boards from ST places the MCU on the PCB's edge . Thank You !#STM32WB #Hardware #Antenna

I use keilMDK V5.42.0 and follow  apnt-333  to make a FLM file, and successfully got a FLM, when I use in my app Project,my internal flash works well but external flash got an error shows  ---------------------------CMSIS-DAP - Cortex-M Error---------------------------Sector (0): Address not Zero!D:\RnD\Keil\ARM\flash\stm32h723FLM.flmI checked all over again, I don't know how to deal with it, I search on internet but no result, can anyone help methank and thank

Hi team, We are working for redesign board which should not have any China parts, so we are looking for non-China origin / manufactured part.Could you please confirm the below details for LDO part - LDFMPVR1) Country of origin (Manufacturing / Assembly / Testing)Thanks,Radhika S

Hey everybody,I was wondering if someone could help me correct my firmware that I've written.I created a custom board using the STM32C011F4P6 MCU. I put an FTDI UART-to-USB converter on the board to be able to view outgoing messages from the custom board on my laptop. While writing the firmware needed to demonstrate this functionality of the board, I referenced the C011 reference manual. There, STM describes the following steps to take when transmitting a character via USART, on page 752. I have tried to follow their advice to the best of my ability, but I notice that my board hangs while waiting for the transmission of a character to complete. My testing code (in my main.c) is shown below:int main(void) { char msg[] = "d"; // initialize debug LED user_led_init(); // initialize the usart usart_init(); while (1) { // transmit string of characters (one character here) usart_write_chars(msg, strlen(msg)); toggle_led(); delay_ms(500); } return 0; }Here are the defin

Hello, I have made my own STM32F732RET6 board that has a USB FS configured as a Stereo, 24 bit 48kHz Audio Interface and SAI2 connected to an SN75176BDR (Differential Bus Transceiver IC) because I want to transmit AES3-AES/EBU (same as SPDIF) audio data coming from the USB). So USB Audio -> SPDIF TX. Problem is I cannot get it to work right and ALWAYS get noise in the output signal (I have hardware that can receive AES3-AES/EBU so I can hear it). I am suspecting this is a clock issue where the frequency of the SPDIF signal is not high enough to support 24 bit stereo 48kHz, from what I've read, this would require an SPDIF frequency of 6.144MHz. I don't know if "Real Audio Frequency" in the .ioc "Pinout & Configuration" on SAI2 should match this number (6.144MHz) or the Audio Sampling Frequency (48kHz). I cannot get "Real Audio Frequency" to be exactly 6.144MHz. I don't know if this should be the frequency the the SAI2 Clock Mux outputs (SAI2 Clock Mux sources from PLLSA

I am working with the STM32WB55VGQ6 and using the V1.23.0 / 02-June-2025 STM32WB Copro Wireless Binaries. Specifically,  stm32wb5x_FUS_fw.bin @ 0x080EE000 and stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin @ 0x080D0000.The STM32WB BLE API (hci_le) provides the function to read the values for the version information for the local Controller (`hci_read_local_version_information`).Per the BLE Core 5.4 spec:The HCI_Version information defines the version information of the HCI layer. The LMP_Version information defines the version of the LMP. The Company_Identifier information indicates the manufacturer of the local device. The HCI_Subversion and LMP_Subversion are vendor-specific.Since the Bluetooth Core Specification defines these as vendor-specific, could you please provide documentation on how to interpret them for your devices?Specifically, I'd like to know:Where are these values documented? How can we decipher them to understand details like the silicon revision or firmw
