Posted on May 27, 2015 at 15:39When I read my M24SR02-Y tag from the Android app ''NFC Tools v3.8'', NDEF is no longer listed as available technologies.Any suggestions as to how this can be?I do need NDEF for my application.EDIT: The official Android NFC Reader app from ST cannot read my tag. and the other app is only capable of reading it when my device is disconnected from the power supply. #android-app #m24sr02-y #ndef-technology #m24sr

Posted on January 30, 2015 at 12:06Hi everybody, I would like to know if it is possibile to interface two CR95HF so that one acts as a tag reader and the other acts as a passive tag, and vice versa. Is this a P2P communication? If so... I know that CR95HF cannot acts as P2P player. Any other solution? Thanks in advance Stefano #p2p #cr95hf

Posted on February 16, 2015 at 07:45Microsoft in Windows phone 8.1 has added new Nfc related features including low level access(Non NDEF). I have Nokia Lumia 830 (PN547 NFC chipset is present in this device).Im not able to detect Nfc tag (ANT-7M24LR-A ,ISO15693) through Lumia 830, which im able to read/write using Nfc-V(ISO15693) in Android. I also have a Lumia 720 (old NFC hardware) but atleast it is able to detect the tag. Has anyone encountered this ? Whats the workaround ? #m24lr #lumia

Posted on February 24, 2015 at 12:04Hi,For a project I use the M24LR64E-R as memory and power supply. Everything works very well if I want to read or write the M24LR64E-R. But as soon as I read another sensor, this sensor value cannot write to the M24LR64E-R. For this application I use the MCU MSP430FR of TI.Following ANs I've read:AN1471 (http://www.st.com/web/en/resource/technical/document/application_note/CD00004295.pdf )AN3057(http://www.st.com/st-web-ui/static/active/en/resource/technical/document/application_note/CD00247968.pdf )Errata sheet for M24LRXXE-R(http://www.st.com/st-web-ui/static/active/en/resource/technical/document/errata_sheet/DM00052762.pdf )But I dont see any solution.Questions:1-      1- Can we use the M24LR64E-R constantly on the RF Field (For power supply)? And at the same time using the I2C bus with other sensors? (This has been going when I use only the MSP430 and the M24LR64E-R).2-      2- Does anyone

Posted on June 17, 2015 at 07:45Hello, For an upcoming project, I would like to use the SPC56EL54L3 controller. But when I was setting up a SPC5 Studio project, I can´t choose this controller in the platform settings because it is not listed. Is there a reason why this controller isn´t implemented in the ''Specific Model'' in platform component configuration? Best regards, Patrik

Posted on March 31, 2015 at 14:41Hi there,I have SPC5 studio installed and I updated all the components available (so my core and app wizard are 3.4.3). I am trying to run OS-less CAN test application from the wizard, having chosen the EVB I have (the SPC560BADAPT144S), and it won't compile out of the box.I get make: *** No rule to make target `all'. The standard thing to do in this case would be to have eclipse generate the Makefile it needs, but the option ''generate makefiles automatically'' is grayed out in the builder setting tab of C/C++ Build in the project properties.Any advice would be appreciated.

Posted on November 25, 2014 at 13:18Hello, Yesterday, I investigated a problem with my software project for an SPC560B. There are several calculations running on the controller and it additionally communicates over UART with a PC. When I tried to increase the UART baud rate, I got the effect that the controllers ''miss'' some bytes sent by the PC. I found out, that reason for that effekt has something to do with the UART RX interrupt and an interrupt created by the periodical timer PIT. After the PIT causes an interrupt, the UART RX can not trigger an interrupt. I always thought that a higher priority interrupt can break the program even when another lower prior interrupt is currently running? Best regards, Patrik

Posted on February 17, 2015 at 09:49Hello, I can't get either read or write (over I2C) to work correct. If I write the text ''Hello World!!'' from the phone (S3) and then read it over the I2C I get the following error. When I read the length it says 0x14, but if I try to read anything over 0x10 it will fail (only sending FF...), but if I read only 0x10 (or less) it will work?! Same when I try to write (over the I2C), then I will get the error code 67 00, but I can't see what's wrong. If I read it with the phone it says it's empty, but if I read it over the I2C I can find it there. Below is a summery over what I send (and get back) over the I2C. Anyone that can tell me what I'm doing wrong? Grateful for help!void InitNFC(){   //Send ''Kill RF and open I2C   Send AC 52   //Select NFC-T4   AC 02 00 A4 04 00 07 D2 76 00 00 85 01 01 00 CRC CRC   //Read back answer from M24SR   Write AD, READ 02 90 00 CRC CRC     // select CC   AC 03 00 A4 00

Posted on January 19, 2015 at 06:55Dear Sirs: We are using M24SR64. Now we met a problem with NDEF File Length in 36 bytes. Problem: 1. If the NDEF File Length is 36 bytes, it can not be a successful data in Android OS or NXP TagInfo app or NFC TagInfo app. Only the app of ST ''M24SR Demo'' can show the payload we wrote. 2. If the NDEF File Length is 35 or 37 bytes, it is a successful Tag data. At first, we used I2C to write the data and we met this strange behavior. Then we used the M24SR Demo app to test it, it also fail in 36 bytes (35 or 37 are OK). Here is a simple way to reproduce the stange behavior: - Tested in Samsung S3 (Android 4.3, may PN544) and Nexus7 generation1 (Android 4.4.3, may 65N04) - Use the app M24SR Demo (download from Google Play)   -> Choose the NDEF editor and TEXT mode   -> Key in the data (payload)         1234567890         1234567890

Posted on March 09, 2015 at 15:01using the SPC560B-DIS board I'm having trouble with eDMA. I've got a very basic function set up to write a succession of 32bit words from one array to another using the eDMA. but it doesn't seem to ever get on to the second (or subsiquent) major loop iterations (as in CITER decriments the once but then not again) If i manually reset the TCD.START, the next iteration happens (and if I keep doing this the iterations continue till CITER is zero and the done flag is activated) However I assume that subsiquent 'loops' should be started by hardware. Any help with this would be appreciated. #discovery #iter #dma

Posted on January 19, 2015 at 10:45Hello,I am trying to build a project created using SPC5Studio Wizard. The steps used are File->New->SPC5Studio Wizard. Afte this I selected SPC560D-DIS as the product line. Then selected all the drivers with OSLess version. I selected all the available applications for this configuration. I tried building one of the application - SPC560Dxx OS-Less Test Application for Discovery, it is giving following errors,- Symbol 'NULL' could not be resolved- Symbol 'uint32_t' could not be resolved- Symbol 'int32_t' could not be resolved- Symbol 'uint16_t' could not be resolved- Symbol 'uint8_t' could not be resolvedSimilar errors for different defines used in main.c file are there. Few errors are for the functions used like osalThreadSleepMilliseconds().Can you please help me resolve these? Is any project setting/configuration missing?Your earliest help in this regard will be highly appreciated.Thanks in advance for all your help.Mike.

Posted on February 17, 2015 at 15:46I am testing CAN filtering Function on SPC560P,But am not clear about how CAN Mask working. Configure as following: Rx ID =0, Rx Individual Mask = 0xFFFFFF8; BCC = 1; From my understanding, then the CAN Node can Receive ID from 0  to 7, but cannot , only still can receive ID = 0; stop at BUF00 Rx Flag checked; But , when I set Rx Individual Mask = 0; all CAN ID can be received (stop at BUF00 Rx Flag checked); So, How the CAN ID Mask Working? -----------------  CAN_0.RXIMR[0].R = 0xFFFFFFF8; /*Rx Individual Mask*/   CAN_0.BUF[0].ID.B.STD_ID = 0x0; /*Rx ID = 0*/ /*Check ID Receive*/  if(1== CAN_0.IFRL.B.BUF00I){    CAN_0.IFRL.B.BUF00I = 1;     // rx completed      }

Posted on February 12, 2015 at 15:09I am currently working on a BLDC control application using SPC560P40 (Pictus) microcontroller and making use of the CTU (Cross-Triggering-Unit) to trigger ADC channels related to BEMF reading in closed loop control. The conversion for the ADC channel configured in CTU mode works fine, however  while CTU is active (CTUEN=1) I cannot start a normal conversion for any other channel which is configured in NORMAL mode. Is this a limitation of the PICTUS? The user manual is not very clear here... Thanks for advice, Benone #spc56 #adc #bldc #ctu

Posted on February 03, 2015 at 16:11 Hello, I would like to use DMA to control the states of some GPIOs. The software should write the entries of an array to the PGPDO[0]register. For that case, I wrote a small demo program. The outputArray isuint16_t and contains 256 elements.Each element stands for a state of 8 GPIO pins. The software should write these elements circular to the PGPDO[0] register, but it doesn´t work. The configuration looks like that: edmaChannelStart(0); edmaTCDSetWord0(edmaGetTCD(0),&outputArray); edmaTCDSetWord1(edmaGetTCD(0),1,1,2); edmaTCDSetWord2(edmaGetTCD(0),512); edmaTCDSetWord3(edmaGetTCD(0),-512); edmaTCDSetWord4(edmaGetTCD(0),&SIUL.PGPDO[0].R); edmaTCDSetWord5Linked(edmaGetTCD(0),0,0xFF,1); edmaTCDSetWord6(edmaGetTCD(0),0); edmaTCDSetWord7Linked(edmaGetTCD(0),0,0xFF,EDMA_TCD_MODE_START); Can anybody tell me what I have to change in my configuration when I want the DMA transfer to run continuously as fast as possible? Posted on January 16, 2015 at 10:09 Hello, I have some problems using the PWM sample project together with the SPC56xL Discovery board. The project generates different PWM signals on the PWMA pin of submodule0. I was able to adapt the PWM configuration to generate the same signal on PWMB pin of submodule0. But now, I also wanted to generate PWM signals with submodule1 of FLEXPWM1. Therfore, I configured thetwo additional controller pinsusing thepin wizard and adapted the sample code like this: pwmStart(&PWMD1, &pwm_config_pwmcfg); pwmStart(&PWMD2, &pwm_config_pwmcfg); osalThreadSleepMilliseconds(2000); /* * Starts the PWM channel 0 using 75% duty cycle. */ pwmEnableChannel(&PWMD1, 0, PWM_PERCENTAGE_TO_WIDTH(&PWMD1, 7500)); pwmEnableChannel(&PWMD1, 1, PWM_PERCENTAGE_TO_WIDTH(&PWMD1, 7500)); pwmEnableChannel(&PWMD2, 0, PWM_PERCENTAGE_TO_WIDTH(&PWMD2, 7500)); pwmEnableChannel(&PWMD2, 1, PWM_PERCENTAGE_TO_WIDTH(&PWMD2,
