Hi ST , I have 100 qty of STM32L4R5VG with bootloader version 9.2 which is fault bootloader . AN2606 says that the bootloader version 9.2 has a trouble with system reset repeatably so can not be used for bootloader.  I tried to fix this issue by myself, but I found there is no solution from this Q&A : https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000BTbseCSQR/stm32l4r5vg-bootloader-version-92-not-working-only-system-reset-repeatablyHow can I exchange the fault STM32L4R5VG with normal bootloader V9.4 or STM32L4R5VI ? What's the process to exchange ?

Hi,I am using STM32l4 nucleo-144 board to create an example application for LPUART1 communication.Part number - STM32L4R5ZII have configured the GPIO and required clocks. But still not able to do a successful transaction. /* Enable Power Clock */ LL_APB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB1_GRP1_PERIPH_PWR);   /* Ensure that HSI is wake-up system clock */ LL_RCC_SetClkAfterWakeFromStop(LL_RCC_STOP_WAKEUPCLOCK_HSI);   /*##### -1- Enable peripherals and GPIO Clocks #####*/ /* Enable GPIO TX/RX clock */ LL_AHB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB2_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOG);   /* Configure TX Pin as : Alternate function, High Speed, PushPull, Pull up */ LL_GPIO_SetPinMode(GPIOG, LL_GPIO_PIN_7, LL_GPIO_MODE_ALTERNATE); LL_GPIO_SetAFPin_8_15(GPIOG, LL_GPIO_PIN_7, LL_GPIO_AF_8); LL_GPIO_SetPinSpeed(GPIOG, LL_GPIO_PIN_7, LL_GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_VERY_HIGH); LL_GPIO_SetPinOutputType(GPIOG, LL_GPIO_PIN_7, LL_GPIO_OUTPUT_PUSHPULL); LL_GPIO_SetPinPull(GPIOG, LL_GPIO_PIN_7, LL_GPIO_PULL_NO); &nb

Hello,I'm trying to get the MEMS microphone (components U21 and U20 on the STM32F746g-disco) to work with SAI. I save my microphone inputs into a buffer with 1000 8-bit values via HAL_SAI_Receive_DMA. Below I have written my MX_SAI_Init() and HAL_SAI_MspInit(). I realise that the slots in the SAI audio frame are important, and from what I have learned I have initialized 4 slots with 2 active, 1 and 3.As of now, the input buffer fills every adress with the value 255. I have been looking around the forum for quite some time and gotten a bit further, but it would be very helpful if someone with more experience with SAI could give me feedback on my initialization. Is this initialization correct in order to get input working with the MEMS microphones?Initialization code static void MX_SAI1_Init(void) {   hsai_BlockA1.Instance = SAI1_Block_A; hsai_BlockA1.Init.Protocol = SAI_FREE_PROTOCOL; hsai_BlockA1.Init.AudioMode = SAI_MODEMASTER_RX; hsai_BlockA1.Init.DataSize = SAI_DATASIZE_8;

On the first power on, Graphical demo ran. After running GPIO example program provided in the STM32H7 FW package, IAR complains that No STM32 MCU detected. Same issue with the STM32CubeProgrammer tool. Why is this board is difficult to work compare to other ST boards?

Hello everyone,I am trying to build an application where I can copy whatever is displayed on the CusotmKeyboard's text area to my own custom text area in my MainView. The keyboard I am referring to is the one provided with the examples . I would really appreciate any help regarding this problem.@Martin KJELDSEN

Hi all,i initialized the TIM5 CH4 PWM with the cube mx interface and then i used :HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim5, TIM_CHANNEL_4);The output is supposed to be observed on PI0 - D5 on the CN4 on the back. There is nothing on the oscilloscope though. Do you know the reason? Thanks.

I'm trying to get 96kHz/24-bit I2S to work in full-duplex master mode. I select SAI 3A to be master, but "synchronous slave" is grayed out on SAI 3B. Is there something I'm missing in the settings to get it synchronize with sub-block A? I'm using a STM32H745ZI. The changelog says this problem was supposedly fixed in v5.2.0, so I'm not sure why I'm having this problem.

Hi everyone,I am using STM32L4A6 with FreeRTOS running on it. I integrate SBSFU according to UM2262 and AN5056. After jumping to application, the firmware triggered Firewall reset when calling osKernelStart() .I already turned SysTick off before jumping to my application. I used one LED to indicate the current code running and firmware was good before calling osKernelStart().I also tried to use non-os application integrated SBSFU and it ran without problem.Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks.Sean

Try to get demo firmware sources for USB dongle MB1293C. Also a .hex file will be useful.I am trying to use STM32Cube utility to generate code from the .ioc file but the code generated does not support the usb driver properly. Any hints to how to get usb driver code working will be useful to me.

I want to use ST25R3916 in our bank card NFC reader.There can i find example code for X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1, that implements Tag detection, Anticollision, SELECT, RATS, APDU...?

While writing the simplest example I could come up for using the HAL I2C routines, I came across what seems like a clear-cut bug. This is for the latest version of STM32CubeF4 (1.24.0), identified in stm32f4xx_hal.c as "STM32F4xx HAL Driver version number V1.7.5".To be clear, I only want to write some data to an I2C device using HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit_IT(). I configured the I2Cx EV interrupt and I2Cx_EV_IRQHandler() simply calls HAL_I2C_EV_IRQHandler(), passing in the proper I2C handle.Running the code with a logic analyzer hooked up, I notice only the slave address is sent. After that, SCL is pulled low indefinitely, the next bytes aren't transmitted, and the I2C stop signal isn't sent.Debugging the code shows that the code is stuck rerunning HAL_I2C_EV_IRQHandler() endlessly -- just as it leaves the ISR, it immediately comes back there.Cutting the story short, here is the issue:In the I2C_Master_SB() function (inside the file stm32f4xx_hal_i2c.c, line 5452),

Using an Aukey PA-Y10 supply with the STUSB4500 works fine for all the five fixed-voltage PDOs (5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 20V).However, the supply's manual says that it features a PPS output with 3 to 16V but I found no way to access this with the STUSB4500. The source-capabilities message just lists the five fixed-voltage PDOs.So how can I access the PPS (programmable power supply)?

For the project I am doing, I have to make a solar charging circuit. So, I chose SPV1040T as a DC-DC boost converter. For this feature, I used eDesignSuite to create a solar charging circuit. The circuit should convert the 3v from the solar panel into 4.2v. After receiving the PCB board, I found that the circuit is not working. I have been trying to figure out what went wrong for last one week. But I couldn't. Could anyone please explain how SPV1040T works exactly?. It may help to figure out what went wrong in my PCB board. Thanks

From the document, the sink will check:A SINK must present an Rd resistor and detection is done in two steps:1. detect the presence of Rp resistor2. detect a VBUS ON.I tested in stm32g431rb, connect ucpd_cc to a power adapter(source), Source send the source capabilities, but sink without response. btw, sink did't find the cable is pluged, because `USBPD_DPM_CADCallback` was not called. I guessed the reason is vbus and how to connect vbus? thanks.

"The operating temperature has an impact on the accuracy of the RC oscillators. At 25 °C, the HSI16 oscillator has an accuracy of ±1% typically, the MSI oscillator has an accuracy of ± 0.5% and the HSI48 oscillator has an accuracy of ±4%."It is described on page 1 of AN4631 How to calibrate an STM32L0xx internal RC oscillator.One of the Ceramic Resonator(HSE ) has Frequency Shift by Temperature +/-0.20% max.Frequency Tolerance +/-0.50% max.Operating Temperature Range - ℃ 20 to ℃ Just want to know what is the frequency shift by temperature for STM32L0xx MSI(Multi-Speed Internal)?Thanks and Best regards,E-John

I have a custom board with STM32L4R MCU (STM32L4R9ZGJ6). While the application software and its USB interface is running I can't enter the USB bootloader. I checked AN2606 but found no issue. STM32L4R takes its internal clock for USB so it seems easy. 3.3V is connected to VBUS pin PA9 and when I connect pin BOOT0 to high the application is no longer starting but the USB bootloader does not, too. In my opinion it seems that an other bootloader (UART, I2C, SPI) is entered but I don't have any active peripheral. For power saving I can turn off all peripheral by a power switch and even disabling this power does not help.Michael

I found my STM32L4R5VG 's bootloader version 9.2. The AN2606 says that the bootloader version 9.2 has a trouble with system reset repeatably so can not be used for bootloader. The version 9.4 resolved this issue. How can I update my STM32L4R5VG 's bootloader version from 9.2 to version 9.4 ? Where can I download bootloader v9.4 and How can I write to system memory?

Hello,Looking at the datasheet and the reference manual, I can't find the values of the hysteresis that can be used for the comparators, the datasheet simply states Low, Medium and High values, which is not very precise. Anyone knows the exact values ?Best regards,Laurent

Hi,In my M4 program within while loop, I have made a for loop which iterates infinitely for 0.75 seconds like this but didnt work at all. I used time.h for that. Are we allowed to make this kind of loop within the while loop in M4 program ?Do you have any idea why it didnt work ? clock_t begin; double time_spent; unsigned int i;   begin = clock(); for (i=0;1;i++) { /*do my staff */ if (VirtUart0RxMsg) { Check_Delay(VirtUart0ChannelBuffRx, VirtUart0ChannelRxSize); VIRT_UART_Transmit(&huart0, VirtUart0ChannelBuffRx, VirtUart0ChannelRxSize); VirtUart0RxMsg = RESET; }   time_spent = (double)(clock() - begin) / CLOCKS_PER_SEC; if (time_spent>=0.75) break; } }

I am new to stm8s. I have recently installed stvd on windows 7 32 bit. I have written proper code. Their is no compilation error and build is also successfull. But as soon as I click on programmer a window appears that shows stvd has stopped working. Please help me out from this issue

Hello,I am using Touch GFX on my hardware (STM32F429).When I create a text area and change the name of text,i encounter error that say "error during code generation" then opens a window that say" ZIP entry size is too large"It was working better before but It does not work officiantly now.could you please help me to solve this problems?thanks in advance.
