I am trying to use STWIN sensor tile for logging the sensors data every 30 minutes, could anyone please help me how to modify codes in HS-datalogin?

I am working with HTS221 Humidity and Temperature sensor on STM32L4 IoT node eval board. So far its working fine as far as inint and read data apis are concerned. However i have couple of questions reagarding de_init (disable) the sensor i.e putting it in power down mode.Below is the code i am using to de_init the sensor status_t de_init(int8_t DeviceAddr){ uint8_t tmp; tmp = SENSOR_IO_Read(DeviceAddr, HTS221_CTRL_REG1); /* HTS221 in power down */ tmp &= ~HTS221_PD_MASK;   /* ake HTS221 boot */ tmp &= ~HTS221_BOOT_BIT; SENSOR_IO_Write(DeviceAddr, HTS221_CTRL_REG1, tmp); }After executing this i start getting constant temperature/humidity value whenever i read from sensor. I understood that the sensor is power down mode and receving last stored (before power down) values from control registerd. Do we need to clear the control registers as well ? How to do that. ?2. Is there any way to only disable humidity or temperature alone. Currently If I put it in power down mode i cann

Context: Using STM3Cube. STM2L431CC. (256KB flash, single bank)I have RAM code that successfully erase and program page 64 to 72. The same ram-code is then used to program page 0..8.The problem it fails to erase any page in range 0..63.No interrupts are enabled. When the START bit is set it is cleared right away and the page isn't erased. Cache and pre-fetch are disabled, interrupts to. No apparent mechanism is enabled to protect page 0..64. The device isn't suppose to support dual-bank. The IDE shows undocumented bits in OPTR BFB2=1 and DUALBANK=1 .nBOOT1=1. Of course the SR.LOCK bit is 0 for unlocked. So what is the problem here?I can erase and program page 64 and up and can't on 0 and my code runs in RAM?

I’ve updated to IDE 1.2.1 and GFX 4.13. After a HARD uphill struggle, I finally figured out how to get a screen running on a 746 Discovery board. I can’t find how to enable the touch controller, though. In the previous software, this functionality was generated in a cpp file in the TouchGFX folder. That file contains nothing but comments now, with no code to initialize or service touch events. How do we get the touch function going? We need some clear example code or instruction. (And may I vent a bit here? This release can not possibly have been regression tested. I’ve done this long enough to recognize a train wreck when I see one. ST “broke the build?, and left their base to suffer the consequences. It is inexcusable.)

In the code it says the following:/** * @brief This function writes a data buffer in flash (data are 32-bit aligned). * @note After writing data buffer, the flash content is checked. * @param pFlashStatus: FLASH_StatusTypeDef * @param pDestination: Start address for target location * @param pSource: pointer on buffer with data to write * @param Length: number of bytes (it has to be 64-bit aligned). * @retval SFU_ErrorStatus SFU_SUCCESS if successful, SFU_ERROR otherwise. */ SFU_ErrorStatus SFU_LL_FLASH_Write(SFU_FLASH_StatusTypeDef *pFlashStatus, void *pDestination, const void *pSource, uint32_t Length) { ... }The brief says 32-bit aligned and the length parameter says 64-bit aligned so which one is it? I thought I read it is either 32 or 64 depending on platform, based on sizeof of SFU_LL_FLASH_write_t.Thanks,Arno

Hello, I am relatively new in this field, and need assistance for my project at work.Recently, in order to have more RAM, I switched from STM32F4 to STM32H7. I saw that STM32H7 has 1MB of RAM, and decided to base our system on this MCU. However, after compiling my code, I see that only DTCM RAM is used by the MCU and others are not used. The DTCM RAM is now full and I can not move any further with my code. How can I make use of RAM_D1 or RAM_D2 for my variables?I am using CubeMX and Atollic Truestudio. Please kindly help me as this is vital for my work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

in usbh_msc.cif(status == USBH_OK)   {      MSC_Handle->max_lun = (MSC_Handle->max_lun > MAX_SUPPORTED_LUN)? I have an existing stm32f439vitx custom board project which works fine when flashed at address 0x08000000 which I now need to make runnable from an existing bootloader expecting the program to have been flashed at address 0x8008000. Is it enough to change the linker script ROM origin and length?

I use STM32F091VI use LSI for RTC clock.I know that LSI is inaccurate.I set the RTC interrupt to 1 second. However, the interrupt interval was 860ms.Can anyone tell me how to calibrate the RTC?I am happy with the sample source code.

Hi,I am a new developer of stm32h750dk and not familiar with IAR.OS:Windows 10IDE:IAR 8.42.2Tools:ST-link V3 on stm32h750dk board.I generate stm32h750dk online application on touchGFX designer 4.12.3.I know the flash on chip is designed for bootloader, and the code stored in QSPI Flash.I know how to download the online application hex file to stm32h750dk on stm32Cube Programmer.I do not know how to download and debug the source code to the QSPI Flash via IAR.I want to know if any instructions for download and debug the source code in QSPI Flash via IAR.The settings of the IAR below. It compiles ok, but download failed, it show me that. Thanks for your attention.

I started a new project, and my security requirement states that user authentication is required when updating firmware.I wonder if there's a feature for this, and if not, can the bootload side be modified to meet this requirement?I searched and found a concept like SFU. The chip used is stm32l0x2.

Hi all,I have a STM32H743 running at 400MHz with simple USB 1 wiring to an USB A jack. It works fine, no issues, runs for hours with thousands of read and write operations. But there is one little issue that drives me crazy:If I plug in and unplug one specific USB Stick (Intenso 8GB) sometimes after removing the stick (no read/write ongoing!), I see "USB Device disconnected" in the log (which is perfectly correct when unplugging an USB stick) but just a millsecond later, I get also "USB Device Connected" again - even though there is nothing connected to the port! After this occures, there is nothing more happening in the USB subsystem. Reconnecting any other stick does not change anything - untill a reset of the STM32, there are no more reactions, no events, no USB (dis)connect anymore. This only happens from time to time and only with some sticks. With the SanDisk 64GB "Ultra Flair" for example, I never experienced this issue. At first, to me this looked like some hardware bounce effect

i'm working with spc570s and using gnu free gccc in spc5studio.In my program I need to apply __attribute__(( aligned(32))) to an const struct variable.I tried like this but it does't work.for example.typedef struct{uint32_t aa;uint 32_ bb;...}Astatic const A ***[2]  __attribute__(( aligned(32))) i want to allocate *** with starting address 0xdddddd00(20,40, 60).Thank you in advance.

Hello,I am total new to this field and need your help please. I have an application in which I measure data and collect in a matrix on ram. after the measurement is finished, I write the data on SD card and USART. I had a code that worked perfectly on STM32F407. But I now have to use STM32H7. I have configured the H7 SDMMC like the SDIO and also the FATFS the same as the config on STM32F4. However, the writing on the SD card stops after one time of writing, meaning that data can only be written once on the SD card. I am attaching the sd card function and my STMCubeMX settings here for your view. Any help would be greatly appreciated. void writeToSd8Ch() { free(SDFatFs); retSD = FATFS_LinkDriver(&SD_Driver, SDPath); SDFatFs = malloc(sizeof (FATFS)); res = f_mount(SDFatFs, "", 0); //changed way of the function if (res == FR_OK){ // Append a line for (int i = 0; (i < totalNoOfMeasurements) ; ++i) { res = open_append(&myFile, "oil_sensor_01.txt"); f_sync(&myFi

YStm32f042f6 tssop package , when i am powering, microcontroller is not starting ,even if i use hard reset . its only starting when i connect ST link( SW Debug)  mode.I am using external clock 8 mhz.I have attached Circuit diagram !! i tried with couple of MC but still same problem..

I've got an issue with the CubeIDE from STM (Version 1.1.0). I generated a Cube project, worked with it for 2 months, edited it,... no major problems. But suddenly the IDE deletes files like my main.cpp,.. I just did some adjustments, like adding another AD-Channel and generated the .ioc file with the MX-Editor in the CubeIDE.Luckly I've got a backup on Bitbucket but I cannot work on ths project because I really need the adjustments I've done.Is this a bug or am I too stupid to do some adjustments without deleting needed files?Has anybody this problem too? Or a solution? I would be really thankful.

Hi,I would like to announce measurement results also by text and change the text color based on the results. Green text for a pass, red for failure. How could I do this?

Hi,I have a few views. On each view there is a container (date, time) which has to be updated periodically (every minute) with the new date/time. This container is the same on every view.My idea is to go through the model with the modelListener. But this means that I have to implement the presenter method on every screen...Is there a better way to do this? So that I have only one method in the container?Thank for your help,Cheers, /jimmii

Hello,I read the input data over SPI DMA, but when I added the AI part ICache and DCache are enabled. The problem is that when ICache and DCache are enabled, the SPI DMA is not working. How can I overcome this problem?

I'm using the FMC of the STM32H743 to drive a 16-bit 8080-bus LCD controller.I've tried using DMA, MDMA and a CPU-loop to transfer data to the 8080-bus, via the FMC.The transfer frequency does not depend on whether DMA, MDMA or CPU-loop is used. This make me think that the DMA/MDMA/CPU-loop is not the limiting factor. At a 480MHz FMC clock, the transfer happens at just 1.6MHz, giving me only 20fps on a 16-bit colour 320x240 LCD.At a 240MHz FMC clock, the transfer happens at just 0.8MHz, and so on at slower speeds.I've also tried reducing the various setup and hold times to 1 and 0 cycles, but this has (surprisingly) not affected the waveform on the 8080-bus.My (Cube-MX generated) FMC initialisation code is:  /* FMC initialization function */ static void MX_FMC_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN FMC_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END FMC_Init 0 */   FMC_NORSRAM_TimingTypeDef Timing = {0}; FMC_NORSRAM_TimingTypeDef ExtTiming = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN FMC_Init

Posted on August 16, 2012 at 21:45I came across the following problem: I have a free-running timer, and a signal being input on its TIMx_CH1 pin. I want to capture timer value for two consecutive edges on that signal, so I set up the CC1 unit for capturing, and as these events may occur relatively quickly after each other, before enabling the capture (through CC1E flag) I set up the respective DMA channel to be triggered by the capture and transfer the CCR1 register to memory. The DMA is set to be non-circular, so it disables itself after the two numbers are stored. Now processing the numbers and several other things will occur and that might take some time. However, the input signal on TIMx_CH1 is still pulsing quickly, so several other capture events may happen until the capture gets disabled. After some time, there is a need to repeat the process again, i.e. the DMA is set up for transferring two numbers non-circularly, and then the CC1 capture is enabled. However, the first DMA tr

I have made a custom PCB with the Murata CMWX1ZZABZ-091 module. When I try running the LoRa End Node or PingPong example (for LoRa Discovery kit B-L072Z-LRWAN1) , I get "Tx Timeout" on UART. The GPIOs and UART are working fine. How do I solve this?

I posted a tread last week but it soon got buried....So I wasn't able to get any output when probe or read from MISO using Arduino due.and @Bart Herse  asked me in the post have i connected my IRQ pin. After reading the data sheet I am still not sure what to do with my IRQ signal coming out of ST25. Currently when I probe the IRQ output stays HIGH...I am using the EVAL ST25RU3993here is my Arduino code, I just want to read RSSI information under default set up.#include <SPI.h> //////////////////////////////////////////// //set up pins for arudino due //MOSI:ICSP-4 //MISO:ICSP-1 //SCK:ICSP-3 //NCS:52 //EN:2 //IRQ:22 ///////////////////////////////////////////////   // Set up chip-select pin as NCS and enable pin as EN const int NCS = 52; const int EN = 2; const int IRQ =7;   //SPI setting SPISettings settingsA(100000, MSBFIRST, SPI_MODE0);   void setup() {   pinMode (NCS, OUTPUT); pinMode(EN, OUTPUT); pinMode(IRQ, INPUT); digitalWrite(EN, HIGH);//set
