Hi,i want to add a transition animation when the animation is over,i know the  Animated Image contain a callback name setDoneAction(), but i want to realize like H750 demo, when the button is clicked, the fan is still turn for a moment and then stop, i want to do that.what should i do in the code? Thanks.

I was wondering how I can measure a pulse duration that is greater than the timer resolution of 16 or 32 bits. More specifically, I would like to record the absolute timestamp of captured input pulses on multiple timer channels. These timestamps can then be used to calculate the intermediate duration. My feeling is that this is a common timer application but I can only think of a rather complex solution. Below I will describe my solution with a STM32F302CB MCU and HAL drivers. Because it requires both HAL driver modifications and race condition detection, I am curious if there is a simpler solution for this.Absolute timestamp calculationSince the timer period is too small for my application with the desired frequency, my idea is to combine 'input capture' and 'timer update' events. When HAL_TIM_IC_CaptureCallback() is called for a particular channel, the absolute timestamp is (TIMx_Overflows * (htim.Init.Period + 1)) + HAL_TIM_ReadCapturedValue(htim, channel), where TIMx_Overflows

Hi,Can anyone help me identify what ST component this is? It's used in an R/C transmitter I have, it's not old, built in 2019...But I cannot figure out what ST Micro part this relates to?I found the 'STUSB1600', but that doesnt seem to fit with the design in this circuit, and also the circuit design doesn't line up with how it's wired on this board..Thanks so much,Mike

Hi,We are facing a lot of problems with the SPI communication with an ST25R95 device. We are using as a main CPU an Silicon Labs EFR32MG13 with the next configuration: config.master    = true;      // master mode config.baudrate   = 1000000;      // CLK freq is 1 MHz config.autoCsEnable = true;      // CS pin controlled by hardware, not firmware config.clockMode  = usartClockMode0; // clock idle low, sample on rising/first edge config.msbf     = true;      // send MSB first config.autoCsHold = 1; /** Auto CS hold time in baud cycles */ config.autoCsSetup = 1; /** Auto CS setup time in baud cycles */For example, if we send the next stream of bytes in order to execute an echo command:{0x01, 0x55, 0x03, 0x03, 0x02, 0x03}We receive the correct answer only if we stop th

Hey there,I have an STM32F042K6 with 32 KB flash which works with a whole bunch of peripherals using STM32 HAL and a lot of code. Now that everything is configured, it is overflowed by nearly 1.5KB (region `FLASH' overflowed by 1464 bytes). What I'll need to do is a significant reduction of code size. I've already turned on all optimization flags -Os, -fmerge-all-constants, -ffunction-sections and -fdata-sections. What else do you do to reduce the code size?Active peripherals:ADC1, I2C1, SPI1, DMA for SPI1, Timer 2, Timer 16, DMA for timer 2, UART2, USB CDC as VCPI'm not using any (emulated) floating point and no division at all which saved a lot of space already, but 99% of the code feels like is taken away by HAL.Thank you for your help.

Hello,I have a container that is present in every single view (namely a header that contains a clock).I need this header to read 12h/24h time setting, and then draw time accordingly. If I use Model-View-Controller, I must implement activate() method in every single Presenter to load this setting from Model, and implement "setTimeSetting()" in every single View, which will call the container "setTimeSetting()". This is a bit overkill, isn't it?So instead of that, I just implement the function in FrontendApplication, and call it in the container only using application().getTimeSetting().Is it appropriate to store a global variable in FrontendApplication instead, that the container reads directly? Am I missing something here, is there going to be problems with that?To me, this seems to be easier approach in most cases, and less risk of typing errors when making lots of function calls between M-V-C objects. Thanks!

For my first foray into the STM32 world I've been trying to get to read nfc tags with a STM32L475 and ST25R95 custom board. It is taking me a while to get used to the CUBE IDE, since including libraries many times results in errors, specially since I'm coming from the Arduino IDE.As the title says I'm trying to adapt the included polling example(for the L476 board) to work with a custom board based on the STM32L475. I'm using the SPI2 port which I have inited in the main code, (pins PB12-PB15). I have made the changes in platform.h and st25r95_com.h to change hspi1 to hspi2. But still I always get initialization failed... any more places I should be changing SPI1 to SPI2?Thank you for your time.

Also uVision 5.29 generates a bunch of Font missing .cpp file errors? Is there an install guide I'm missing?

I purchased two different ST controller boards:B-G431B-ESC1NUCLEO-G431RB and X-NUCLEO-IHM16M1I also have two motors:MIGE 80ST-M04025MIGE 130ST-M10010I've tried to profile the motors using the ST Motor Profiler but it always errors with "Profiling takes too much time" at 94% of Electrical parameter detection. The exact same thing happens with both controller boards and both motors. I've tried different combinations of voltage, current and max speed. The motors have 4 pole pairs.I also tried gathering the information from the datasheet (https://hzmgdj.en.alibaba.com/product/60120702270-200533488/SERVO_MOTOR_OF_80ST_M04025.html) and run the motor in Workbench but I cannot get the motors to run smoothly. They just rapidly move back and forth.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here's an example of the parameters I've tried:

Hi everyone,I would like to know if is possible to add STM32F030K6 MCU at ST Motor Control Workbench. If it is possible, how can I do this?

Hello,I am new to NFC solutions and want to design a product that can read tags for 40cm distance with ST25R3911B , could you give me some suggestions ? And how to adjust the antenna driver output resistance (register 0x27) to match the impedance, also what is the suitable value for the capacitive voltage divider?Thank you very much for your help. Best regardsSky

Hi, how to add program to autostart in OpenSTLinux ?I tried adding initialization script to /etc/init.d and creating .desktop file in ~/.config/autostart directory, but nothing works.I will be very gratefull, if somebody could help me.

Hi, Is there a way to take screenshots on the STM32MP157C-DK2? thanks in advanceLukas

Hello,Is it possible to monitor local variables using STM32CubeMonitor?

Anyone know if the MCWB will include hall sensor control sometime soon? I don't see anything and the various documents are out of date and contradictory.

Not sure where to post this, just unpacked a STM32MP157C-EV1 and was following the Getting started instructions. The insctructions use USB to program a SDHC card. But, on this page:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP157x-EV1/Let%27s_start/Populate_the_target_and_boot_the_image"Connect USB Type A to Type C cable between PC and CN7/USB_OTG port of the STM32MP157x-EV1 board"But CN7/USB_OTG is on the STM32MP157C-DK2, not the -EV1 and there is no corresponding connector (I think). Will try to program the card using ST-LINK.Thanks!

Hi, how can I disable the autostart of the demo-application on the STM32MP157C-DK2 and make my own application autostart ?thanks in advanceLukas

When I tried to do it in STM32CubeProgrammer I receive the next error:18:37:09 : OPTION BYTE PROGRAMMING VERIFICATION:18:37:09 : Error: Expected value for Option Byte "SPRMOD": 0x0, found: 0x118:37:09 : Error: Option Byte Programming failed

I am using stm32G031K8 nucleo board. The board was working well, it started to reset itself continuously for some time, I could only see my uart message that says started, every time I erased the code and upload previously working versions. Then it started to not execute code, now I upload led blink project but still doesnt work. I can erase the flash then upload new code. When I try to debug it, run button is passive at the beginning. When I press the reset button registers filled with 0xffff.It cant go to reset handler at the beginning, how can I fix it? Thanks.

I started a project from scratch in CubeMX. and the set TouchGFX for portrait as :Middleware->Graphics->TouchGFX, changed width : 272 and Height : 480. In TouchGFX designer it displays correctly as Portrait(see PortraitFromTouchGFX).PNG) but when I compiled using IAR and deployed it on the target bd, it doesn’t display correctly (see From STM32F746-Disco Display.jpg )In Hal.hpp : It automatically sets the display orientation based on width/height, so I don't think I need to do anything else. (Changing LTDC etc) HAL(DMA_Interface& dmaInterface, LCD& display, TouchController& touchCtrl, uint16_t width, uint16_t height) :    dma(dmaInterface),    lcdRef(display),    touchController(touchCtrl),    mcuInstrumentation(0),    buttonController(0),    taskDelayFunc(0),    frameBuffer0(0),    frameBuffer1(

Hello, I am trying to write a simple hello world in order to make printf work with my setup. I have an own board, which I am programming it using ST-Link V3set (I also couldn't get it to work with ST-Link V2). I can program my board, debug it, I can see variables on live expression and everything is working perfectly. The problem is when I try to redirect printf to ITM. I overwrite the _write function, I can step through it, I can see it writing to the register, but I get nothing on my console. I basically followed this video and have also tried following articles, where everyone got it working. I have followed every possible step, but I still don't get anything on the console. What am I doing wrong?

Hello! I have 2 projects for two different controllers: one is the STM32F767 and the second one is the STM32H753. I'm using the Cube IDE 1.3.1.I have noticed , that when I generate a code, the the file structure looks different for both of them even when I try to ise exactly the same drivers. For example when I use GPIO and LTDC, the for the STM32F767 I get such a structure (looks better for me):And when I generate the code for the STMH753 then I get such a structure and the initialization functions are directly in the main (not optimal for bigger projects):My question: How to change the automatic code generator to use the same way of working like for the STM32F767 (modular code)?Regards,Gregor

Hi to all!I'm new to STM32, so i want to learn. I have a Nucleo-STM32F767ZI board and i try to interface this board with the MPU9150 sensor via I2c. The problem is that i can't able to communicate with the sensor. Using a logic analyzer i see that the board get-out the SDA and SCL signals, but the sensor answer with a NACK. Also If i use a read operation, i see the correct slave address (0x69) on the logic analyzer, but if i use a write operation i see a wrong value of the slave address (0x68).I use the STM32CUBEIDE to generate the project, and i use a default configuration for I2C1 with no filters enable, rise time and fall time set to zero. The output pins are mapped to the PB8 and PB9. Please, someone can help me to find where i'm wrong?
