Are there some working hrtimer examples for STM32H7 floating around?

Hi TouchGFX users,I saw a couple of people asking for help/requesting a cursor example when working with textArea widgets, where the user could navigate through a text with a cursor, and add/delete elements at the wanted position.So I made a small demo to help some of you and future users facing the same concern. The scenario is: the user wants to have the possibility to manually edit a "barcode-like" text (numbers and letters from A to Z), with a maximum size of 12 characters.The user can increase or decrease the value with the buttons assigned for it (goes from 0 to 9 then switch to A to Z, and then Z to 0). You can move the cursor around the text with the assigned buttons, but you are limited by the extremities of the text. You can add/delete a value at the position of the cursor with the corresponding buttons. The last four digits are highlighted by using a bigger font in this case (just so that I had an example of string handling/communication).There are 2 screens as I followed tw

hello. I have a question about LIS331DLH. under low temperature, LIS331DLH chip z-axis shows wrong value.it is almost 100 difference between -10 degree and 22 degree. x,y axis is fine but only z axis is problem. every chip I got have same problem except one chip. is there ways to figure out this problem ?

I have a NUCELO-L433RC-P dev board that was working fine for several days but is no longer visible in Win 10 Device Manager. STLinkUpgrade and STM32CubeProgrammer do not find my ST-LINK. STM32CubeIDE gives the error "Error in initializing ST-LINK device. Reason: ST-LINK DLL error."Connecting the dev board to a second pc, and everything appears normal. I did a full chip erase from STM32CubeProgrammer without issue. Back on my primary PC, I checked the Win10 Restore Points and found no changes in the past 7 days. I tried multiple cables and multiple USB ports with no change.When I plug the dev board into my primary PC, the LD1 light slow blinks red. If I unplug and re-plug a few times, I can get LD1 to fast blink red but the ST-LINK never mounts. While plugging/unplugging the USB, Windows10 never makes the "beep boop" sounds that it should when connecting USB devices.

If i try to create or run a function that uses a double as parameter it will end up in an UsageFault_Handler infinite loop.Why is this and how can i fix this ?(This prevents me even from using round() from math.h)I use System workbench for STM32on a Nucleo-F401REA simple Program like this will cause the Problem on my System:void foo( double v ) { }   int main(void){   foo( 1.0 ) ; return 0 ; }changing void in foo to something else wont help and no matter the function body it will never enter it in debug mode.The disassembly gives:080001f4:  vldr  d0, [pc, #16]  ; 0x8000208 <main+24>080001f8:  bl   0x80001d8 <foo>which will lead in the next step to     UsageFault_Handler:08000260:  b.n   0x8000260 <UsageFault_Handler>08000262:  movs  r0, r0

Hello All,I want to load AND debug a precompiled .hex file onto my STM32f469i Discovery board. I've looked around and tried several tools such as the STM32CubeIDE and the ST-Link utility, but no luck. The CubeIDE seems to be unable to flash the file, and the ST-Link can't debug. Any advice? Is something like this even possible?Thank You,Tom

I am trying to compile the original fw sources files provided in order to generate the same binary file before proceeding to fw changes. I have all the files using version 2.1.0.0 The only changes that I made are:1) Add the preprocessor define EVAL=1 (I am using the ST25RU3993-EVAL board)2) Add the preprocessor define STUHFL_HOST_COMMUNICATION=1 . I want to compile a project to use the GUI provided (for a toolchain validation)The compilation fails due an undefined "addTlvExt" reference. But this one is included in the stuhfl_helpers.h file which is included in the project. What it can be wrong in this case?Thank you

Hi, I work on the NFC01A1 and want to write in the M24SR with i2c protocol in python. My goal is to put a URI in, "abc.com" in this example. Here, I will put only the 3 important parts of the code, Erase Message Length, Write Message, Write Message Length :# erase NDEF messgae length wait("erase NDEF message length") data = [0x03,0x00,0xD6,0x00,0x00,0x02,0x00,0x00] tag.write(data, crc=True)   # write NDEF message wait ("write NDEF message") data = [0x02,0x00,0xD6,0x00,0x02,0x0C,0xD1,0x01,0x07,0x55,0x03,0x61,0x62,0x63,0x2E,0x63,0x6F,0x6D] tag.write(data, crc=True) # write NDEF message length wait("write NDEF message length") data = [0x03,0x00,0xD6,0x00,0x00,0x02,0x00,0x08] tag.write(data, crc= True)I can read it with the applcation ST25 NFC tap, I got this : I think I can't open the page because of the two bytes "00 08" and I don't really now why they are here..Do you have any solution for this problem ? Thank you all !

Hi greetings,I am using Murata module with STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.3.1 STM32L073RZ-Nucleo code. with below details1. GATEWAY KERLINK2. CLASS C3. UPLINK and Downlink4. Loriot Network Servercommunication is going well. but after fix 24 hour I am not able to receive data at network server side.and in case of B-L072Z-LRWAN1 code with development board I not face this issue.last from loriot networkside a DevStetusReq 06 {} command transmit from network server side after then no communication happen end node stuck after hard reset again work.please suggest how to continuous communication enable in STM32L073RZ-Nucleo Hw.

Hello everybodyController: STM32H743ZII have a const uint8_t array which I want to place in the flash at a specific location. The location is Address: 0x08180000. For that reason I created a *.sct file. The used tag is "MXG5XX". LOAD_FLASH_BANK 0x08000000 0x00200000 { EXEC_FLASH_BANK_1 0x08000000 0x00100000 { *.o (RESET, +First) *(InRoot$$Sections) .ANY (+RO) .ANY (+XO) } EXEC_FLASH_BANK_2 0x08180000 0x00080000 { *(.MXG5XX) } EXEC_DTCM 0x20000000 0x00020000 { .ANY (+RW) .ANY (+ZI) } EXEC_AXI 0x24010000 0x00070000 { .ANY (+RW) .ANY (+ZI) }   EXEC_ITCM 0x00000000 0x10000 { .ANY (itcm) } }The const array is called mxg5xx_firmware_binary and is defined as follows:__attribute__((section (".MXG5XX"))) const uint8_t mxg5xx_firmware_binary [] = { 0xB0, 0x14, 0x00, 0x20, 0xDD, 0x11, 0x00, 0x00, 0xE5, 0x11, 0x00, 0x00, 0xE7, 0x11, 0x00, 0x00 };After the build process the *.map shows the following for the array:Image Symbol Table ... mxg5xx_firmwa

Hi to all,I recently started to work on NUCLEO-L4R5ZI-P evaluation board; for my first tests I decided to test the current consumption using the JP5 jumper. I put an external 8MHz oscillator on X3 and using a pre-defined test project I tried to go into stop 2 mode; checking my current consumption with what datasheet shows I note an huge difference. Disabling SRAM3 and using the RTC to exit from low power mode, I measure on JP5 about ~75uA in stop 2 mode while in the datasheet this current should be about ~3uA. Please could anyone suggest me what I missing ? Regards

I'm trying to create a screen positioning screen, to adjust the location of the screen using the LTDC registers. I've used the BPRC registers, and the HAL_LTDC_SetWindowPosition() function methods.My screen has 4 buttons for adjusting all directions in X, and Y.When a limit is reached, I setInvisible() the button.==============================I've created a routine to adjust the BPCR registers, and this moves the display around.But is is limited to a small range of values in Y, only 0..23. Greater than that generates and LTDC_ER_EXCEPTION. (X-Range is 0..100+) I've also found if NOT called from the VSync interrupt (OSWrappers::signalVSync() routine), I get random LTDC_ER_EXCEPTION. I've created a callback mechanism, so this routine is called from the VSync interrupt.callback(){  // Need to change LTDC_BPCR register only.  hltdc.Init.AccumulatedHBP = x; // 46, 0..100 allowed  hltdc.Init.AccumulatedVBP = y; // 23, 0..23 allowed (24 locks up the GUI.) &n

The guide says that the band plan can be changed using the Lora_SetDeviceBand() function for the AT-Master example. /************************************************************** * @brief Do a request to set the country band code for LoRaWAN * @brief Need to write to DCT and Reset module to enable this setting * @param BAND in value 0(EU-868 Band) / 1(US-Band) * @retval LoRa return code **************************************************************/ ATEerror_t Lora_SetDeviceBand(uint8_t DeviceBand);It only shows the values for EU and US bands. What value do I use to change to using AS923? The symbol USE_BAND_868 is defined in the symbols. Does changing it to USE_BAND_923 change the band plan? I cannot find use of this symbol anywhere in the AT-Master code.

Hi,I'm trying to change screen with button on a screen and hardware button.But, I don't want to add another screen because some parameter is shared,So, I use pointers for some widgets and generate/delete the widgets at runtime.However, when I press the trigger key to change screen during pressing the button on the screen and release the button after the screen has changed, the program has crashed.I think that the program try to call "Button::handleClickEvent" of the button that has already deleted but failed, it has crashed.Here's a some sample code.class sampleScreen { ~~~~~~~~~~ virtual void setupScreen(); ~~~~~~~~~~ void buttonPressed(); void triggerKeyPressed(); void switchScreen(); ~~~~~~~~~~ Button* button; ~~~~~~~~~~ }   sampleScreen::setupScreen() { button = new Button(); ~~~~~~~~~~ add(*button); getRootContainer().invalidate(); }   void sampleScreen::buttonPressed() { switchScreen(); }   void sampleScreen::triggerKeyPressed() { switchScreen(); } &nbsp

I keep getting OVR (overrun) interrupts when running below simple code.OVR interrupt happens every 10~20th iteration of the loop. Overrun should not occur because the data register (DR) is read after measurement is completed.Why do I get an overrun and how do I prevent it?uint32_t highest_meas = 0, temp_meas = 0;   for(uint16_t i=0; i<176; i++) { // Make measurement ADC1->CR |= 0x4; // Start measurement while(ADC1->ISR & 0x4 == 0){} // Do nothing until EOC=1 temp_meas = ADC1->DR; // Get measurement   if(temp_meas > highest_meas) { highest_meas = temp_meas; } }This is the configuration of the ADC: hadc.Instance = ADC1; hadc.Init.OversamplingMode = DISABLE; hadc.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV1; hadc.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc.Init.SamplingTime = ADC_SAMPLETIME_3CYCLES_5; hadc.Init.ScanConvMode = ADC_SCAN_DIRECTION_FORWARD; hadc.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hadc.Init.ContinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc

Hi, I have my STM32F407 with the following clock configuration, as I want to use TIM2-TIM5, the input clock of those Timers is APB1, and it is working at 84 MHz, I want TIM2 working with an interrupt every 1 sec, so I set the prescaler to 8400-1 so the timer will work at 10KHz, and the the Counter Period to 10000-1, so I will have an interrupt every 1s...In the TIM2 Handler I have set a Toggle to one of the board LEDs, and it toggles every 3s, no every 1s, so I suppose that I have something wrong.Here I attach you a screenshot of the Clock Configuration screen.Thank you Best regards

It looks like ST is changing the Cube MCU packages. Up to version H7_1.7.0 the old-style huge packages can be found on github (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7/releases). But HAL drivers since v 1.8.0 are in a separate repository (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32h7xx_hal_driver), and CMSIS in a separate repository (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/cmsis_device_h7)Will ST release update 1.8 of the "huge" package, or 1.7 was the last update in this format?-- pa

Hi,I want to use the ST25R3911B with a MEMS clock source. Is there any possibility to do this? Regards, Simon

in bno055's datasheet adress shown as 0x28 or 0x29 (in decimal 40 and 41) but when ı use i2c adress finding function it returns 80. To be sure about adress I writed following code but there is strange issue. When code is like that firstly d becames 2 , after 10 second d becames 4. What is problem about and what should ı do?Note: I use stm32f4 and i2c1 with pb8 and pb9 pins. if(HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady(&hi2c1 ,40, 1, 100)==HAL_OK) d=1; else if(HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady(&hi2c1 ,80, 1, 100)==HAL_OK){ d=2; HAL_Delay(10000);} else if(HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady(&hi2c1 ,41, 1, 100)==HAL_OK) d=3; else d=4;Thanks for looking =)

Hello. I'm currently working with the STM32WB55 controller and the Nucleo demo board. I successfully used the BLE heartrate example. Now, I try to tailor the example for my needs because at the end I would like to run a similar application on the STM32WB50 controller.Right now, I'm trying to reconfigure the RFWakeupClockSource. The heartrate example specifies the LSE clock as RF WakeupClock. On my customized board with the STM32WB50 controller, I don't have an external crystal for the LSE. So, I would like to use another clock source. There is also the option to use the HSE divided by 1024.But if I select the divided HSE clock source, the controller is advertising but I'm not able to connect to it anymore. I enabled the serial debug output and this is what I see:Device Information Service (DIS) is added Successfully 000C Manufacturer Name Characteristic Added Successfully 000D Heart Rate Service (HRS) is added Successfully 000F Heart Rate Measurement Characteristic Added Successfully

Hi! I cannot open none of PFC pre-regulation designs. The browser says the flash is not enabled. In fact it is and it's working for few other elements in edesignsuite. Can you please elaborate people about why PFC pre-regulation designs does not work? The STNRGPF01 datasheet says edesignsuite is used for configuring the controller or sourcing BOM. So - without the working edesignsuite this controller is useless!Will you correct this or we should move to another market alternatives of PFC design?

Hello, I want to write time on LCD in format 00:00:00 (hh:mm:ss). I use simple text area object and font I use is Proxima Nova Semibold. But the problem is that text is moving around because each char have different width. I would like to each char stay in the position.I am new to Touch GFX framework.I manage to achieve what I need using a monospace font. But I need to use Proxima Nova Semibold. For now only though I have to write each character separately with different position, but is there some other option? Thank you!
