I bought the evspin32f0601s1 board.In the data sheet"Sensored or sensorless 6-step algorithm"It is described like this...Is it not possible to select 6-step in the st motor control workbench?And since there is no detailed information about the workbench settings, it is difficult to set up. What do I need to see to learn more about the settings?

We are trying to implement UART functionality in ST25R3911B-DISCO board.In firmware side we have implemented all the functionality on the board and it is working properly, we have tested it by sending data (formed using frame structure) by serial terminal to the board and receiving proper data frame from the board to the PC.But we are facing issue on the host side of the software we are trying to implement. We have ST25R3911DISCOComm.dll file which implement host side of code. All the code related to device communication is implemented inside .dll file which can't be changed without source code. Is there any way to get .dll source code?Also is the source code of QT GUI(STSW-ST25R001) of the board is also available to download?Further we have planned to implement wifi over this board using uart connectivity.@Ulysses HERNIOSUS_O

Hello,Is there a way to generate releasecode to release to the public without Debugging information in the File. But to debug the Code with some exta Debug Files later?I would like to build a seperate Hex/Bin and Debug file.In other IDEs or in GNU Compiles you can split Debug Information and the executable in 2 Different files, to Release the Executable to the Public but still Debug it (with help of the debug Files) if you need to.e.g. the tools objcopy and strip from the buildutils are made for this. But they are unable to work with the STM .elf format.Here is a described example: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/866721/how-to-generate-gcc-debug-symbol-outside-the-build-targetBut I am unable to set somthing similar up in the CubeIDE. Does somebody have a Idear, how to generate debuggable release build without publishing the Debug Information ?

Now I am using LSM6DSO sensor pedometer function. I found it is too sensitive and want to change it. I found four pedometer settings. They are ****_CMD_REG, ****_DEB_STEPS_C, ****_SC_DELTAT_L, ****_SC_DELTAT_H. I can just understand the function of the second one. Can you explain the other three meaning? I have changed them and will cause the pedometer stop.

Why/why not would I use one IDE over the other ?

Hi, I have found the driver for Teseo LIV3, is there a driver available for Teseo III GNSS?

I am testing STLINK Utility's Automatic Mode for mass-production,I set read out protection in option byte from level0 to level1(I have never set it to level2,for its irreversibility),so I just plug in and out the STLINK acting as the operation of mass-production.The times are less than 30(in my memory),but at last I find the flash contents are all 0x00 in flash(starting from 0x08000000,with the legth of the max size of 512K flash).I tried to revise the read out protection to level0(without read out protection),I could see the contents are all 0x00 all the same no matter what I tried,such as full chip erease , page erease or programing new hex file,the flash could not be revise,they are all 0x00.So anyone can help me? My ST chip is STM32G474E DPOW discovery on board chip,thanks.

folder is model ,main_page_screen, pw_touchgfxactivev_screen.I want to use the variables A declared in the model in main_screen and pw_page_screen. I don't know how to declare variables and how to use them.For example, variable A is declared in model.cpp.In pw_touchgfxactive_screen.cpp, enter 1 for variable A.I want to use variable A in main_page_screen.cpp.Thank you for telling me how to pass the variable A value entered in pw_touchgfxactive to main_page_screen.cpp.

I have an application where I am using an external signal to trigger TIM8_CH1 to do a capture and generate a DMA interrupt where I then store the counter value. I want to perform a similar action on an internal firmware (FW) signal. I want to store the TIM8 count value to a memory location when a FW event occurs.Is there a way to trigger TIM8 to perform a count capture based on a FW trigger? I'm using a STM32G431.

I have some code that removes a "secure area" on STM32H75x by so called "regression" from RDP level 1 to level 0, which causes full erase.(Actually this code is based on example very kindly provided by ST support) void EraseAll(void) { uint32_t flashUserOpt; printf("Launching erase all process. Requires RDPL1 already set\n"); __HAL_FLASH_CLEAR_FLAG_BANK1(FLASH_FLAG_ALL_ERRORS_BANK1); HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock(); FLASH->OPTSR_PRG = 0x13BEAAF0; /* RDP level 0 */ FLASH->PRAR_PRG1 = 0x80000FFF; /* No PCROP */ FLASH->SCAR_PRG1 = 0x80000FFF; /* No secure area */ FLASH->WPSN_PRG1 = 0x000000FF; /* No WRP */ OBLaunchWithCheck(); HAL_FLASH_OB_Lock(); }   void OBLaunchWithCheck(void) { HAL_StatusTypeDef error; if ((error=HAL_FLASH_OB_Launch()) != HAL_OK) { printf("HAL_FLASH_OB_Launch failed. HAL_ERROR: %d Error code : %8.8x ...\r\n", error, pFlash.ErrorCode); printf("Flash->SR1: 0x%8.8x\r\n", FLASH->SR1); } }The erase usually (*) works, but after a power

What would be the register level equivalent of the following statement: LL_HRTIM_ClearFlag_REP(HRTIM1, LL_HRTIM_TIMER_MASTER);

Hello.I want to use TIM8 instead of TIM1 to drive a WS2812B Led Strip together with DMA2 in STM32F767ZI. The code works fine with TIM1 but when I try to switch to TIM8 (which should have the same features), the interrupt handler TIM8_UP_TIM13_IRQHandler does not trigger anymore. Besides renaming everything from TIM1 to TIM8 I know I need to use TIM8_UP_TIM13 instead of TIM1_UP_TIM10 and also the strean/channel tie ins to the DMA2 also change. I have enclosed 2 pieces of code TIM1_WS2812B,c which works and TIM8_WS2812B.c where the TIM8 interrupt does not trigger. Aren't TIM1 and TIM8 suppose to work exactly the same way?Thanks!

HiI'm porting my STM32F103 code to the STM32F303, and noticed the significant difference in the ref manual regarding the ADC module. Being a beginner in STM32 MCUs, I'm struggling to get my calibration run correctly.I feel like I am doing as I'm supposed to, but my calibration gets stuck in line 38. Debugging the register bits, ADCAL remains 1, even though it should be cleared by hardware once calibration is over.Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong?PS: If I don't run the calibration, my ADC works, but gives the wrong values, which is why I would like to run my calibrationThank you./** * STM32F303CC ADC * Uses ADC1 * Reads the temperature from the internal temp sensor. * Also, SWV is implemented. What is the diode junction capacitance for the ESDA7P120-1U1M TVS diode? Can it be used on a data line with 1-2mbps data rates?

PCB layout of STEVAL STSPIN3204 board contais critical bug as explained in attached report which prevents the design to work up to claimed 16Arms. This bug creates extreme radiated emissions (affecting nearby instruments) and prevents the proper function of phase current sensing triggering current limit too early. It could be fixed with simple PCB modification (with cutting knife and soldering iron).Randomly openning gerbers from other STEVAL SPIN32 boards I have found this exact bug (SPIN3202). This leads me to believe that some of your layouters and/or designers might want to refresh layout guidelines for motor control possibly with focus EMC.If you are interested my company could offer you personalized seminar/training/hands-on which covers those topics or others from theory through practical application to example of schematic or layout reviews before design freeze. Everything is working fine having the framebuffer in RAM_D1 (0x24000000).This is what I have done trying to move my frame buffer to RAM_D2 (0x30000000):I have setup the "TouchGFX_Framebuffer" in the .ld file to RAM_D2 TouchGFX_Framebuffer : {  *(TouchGFX_Framebuffer)  *(TouchGFX_Framebuffer*)  . = ALIGN(4); } >RAM_D2I'm enabling RAM_D2 clock in the beginning of main() __HAL_RCC_D2SRAM1_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_D2SRAM2_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_D2SRAM3_CLK_ENABLE();Configuring the MPU, setting the RAM_D2 region same as RAM_D1 regionWhat do I miss out for this to work?

Hi, Everyone.I wanna know this transistor's Vgs and device datasheet.As I know the device number is 'STD 6N80 series', is that right??Thank you for helping me.

Hi, I'm Emily Ha.I wanna know this component.'358 MZ839' and I attached the picture of it.Fortunately, I've got reference PCB from my senior, but I cannot find out what it is.I think this component as a amplifier (but I am not sure :( )Please, help me to find out this!

We are implementing USB Bootloader for our project. MCU is STM32F779NI and we are using ST HAL libraries for our implementation. After completion of checks, control suppose to enter into callback function via HAL_HCD_IRQHandler(). Device state changes in our usbAppCallback() function and with new HAL it is not entering into callback function. .We have not observed this issue with HAL library V.1.2.7.I have attached the snapshots of our code.Please help me to resolve this.

TouchGFX seems to mangle all of my .png images. The image is loaded directly into the flash and mapped in BitmapDatabase.cpp. Nothing special going on. Has anyone encountered this or have any troubleshooting ideas?TouchGFX Designer Screen Capture:TouchGFX Designer Screen Capture:Target Picture:

After creating a new project STM32CubeMX it automatically generates code. If I want to change any setting using STM32CubeMX how can it be restarted from within STM32CubeIDE ?I ran STM32CubeMX by double-clicking the .ioc file, but STM32CubeMX does not show the configuration tabs. What is the proper way to rerun and reconfigure STM32CubeMX ?

How to mark a qustion as answered?

I am struggling with debugging of STM32f407VGT6 mcu. I use discovery board as ST-LINK for debugging. Done below instructions:-       All connections between st-link and uC-       Power distribution controls (VCC, GND)-       CN3 jumpers not connectShortly, all hardware instructions have done. But I see below problem:I have tried lots of combinations of the settings like:SWD-FrequenciesNormal - Hot plug - Connect under reset -(Low,high power modes)- Reset modes. Also, NRST pin to ground and debugging simultaneously. But do not working every situation. Can you help me, please?
