When you create a project, CORE_CM4 symbol is added to properties by default.However, if you look at stm32mp1xx_hal_rcc.h, the CORE_CM4 area is still disabled. Is it a bug? Can I ignore it and use it? Or please tell me how to solve it.

Hi, I have a question the difference of waking up between LOW_POWER_SLEEP_MODE and STOP_MODE.I have used ADC for waking up from STOP_MODE and LOW_POWER_SLEEP_MODE respectively.According to STM32L051U6 datasheet, both modes cannot be waken up by ADC, however, in LOW_POWER_SLEEP_MODE, it seems that ADC works as wake-up. Is there anything that I misunderstood? How is it possible to wake up LOW_POWER_SLEEP_MODE by ADC?I attached snapshots of the datasheet about waking up just in case.Thank you in advance.the datasheet for wake-upEntering Stop/low-power-sleep mode/* Enable Ultra low power mode */ HAL_PWREx_EnableUltraLowPower();   /* Enable the fast wake up from Ultra low power mode */ HAL_PWREx_EnableFastWakeUp();   /* Select HSI as system clock source after Wake Up from Stop mode */ __HAL_RCC_WAKEUPSTOP_CLK_CONFIG(RCC_STOP_WAKEUPCLOCK_HSI);   /* enter stop mode */ HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode(PWR_LOWPOWERREGULATOR_ON, PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI);   /* enter low-power-sleep mode HAL_P

What are the power levels for the different settings when calling aci_hal_set_tx_power_level()? All I can find for sure is a max power level of +8 dBm in the datasheet. Other tables I find in the BlueNRG-1_2 DK documentation give conflicting answers and none mention the En_High_Power parameter.This question was asked before here: https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkfpySAB/which-parameters-are-suitable-for-acihalsettxpowerlevel-with-spbtlerf-but for a different chip. I'd like to know the answer for BlueNRG-2.

My project involves a Nucleo-64+X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 communicating with an Android phone via Bluetooth.I successfully sent data from the server (BNRG2A1) to the client (Android phone), but I cannot figure out how to do the same from client to server. Under Android, I can write data to the characteristic (in NO RESPONSE mode), but I fail to understand how to handle the write operation server-side.My characteristic is declared as follow:ret = aci_gatt_add_char(HWServW2STHandle, UUID_TYPE_128, &char_uuid, 2+2+4, CHAR_PROP_NOTIFY|CHAR_PROP_READ|CHAR_PROP_WRITE_WITHOUT_RESP, ATTR_PERMISSION_NONE, GATT_NOTIFY_READ_REQ_AND_WAIT_FOR_APPL_RESP|GATT_NOTIFY_ATTRIBUTE_WRITE, 16, 1, &EnvironmentalCharHandle);What is it supposed to happen server-side? I've tried to implement aci_gatt_write_permit_req_event(), aci_att_exec_write_resp_event() and aci_gatt_indication_event(), but they are never called. Also, nothing is displayed in the console (with full debug info) when w

version: touchGFX Designer 4.16.1I generated a ScrollList to contain 8 itemsIn the .touchGFX project (attached) I can see the expected lines"Type": "ScrollList", "PaddingBefore": 0, "PaddingAfter": 0, "Snapping": false, "IsHorizontal": false, "IsCircular": false, "ItemTemplateName": "lightSliderGroup", "NumberofItems": 8,However in the base class of the generated code I see this:touchgfx::ScrollList lightGroupList; touchgfx::DrawableListItems<lightSliderGroup, 6> lightGroupListListItems;The odd thing is that 8 items actually got created, however in my case the slider value of the last 2 items always follow the value of the first 2 items in the list?Hacking that line to change it from 6 to 8 does not fix the issue either.Am I missing something or is this a bug? If so, is there any workaround?

I would like to know how we can configure STM32H7's SAI(s) for 8-PDM microphone inputs (LR * 4 pairs). (16kHz sampling rate).It seems MX allows us 6 mic with SAI1 and 2 mics with SAI4 but I'm not sure how we can set SAI1/4 exactliy for 8 mics (synchronized data acquisition I want)

hi dear.I have some problems with the Flash bank configure.STM32F767 is used by setting Flash Bank to Single or Dual.So I want to set Dual Bank Mode on Flash Memory.However, the Dual Bank setting does not work properly. I changed the Option bytes to set Single or Dual Bank.Below is the code I wrote.bool flash_opt_init_func(void) { uint32_t ret = true;   FLASH_OBProgramInitTypeDef ob_bytes;   HAL_FLASHEx_OBGetConfig(&ob_bytes);   if(ob_bytes.USERConfig & OB_NDBANK_SINGLE_BANK) { HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock();   ob_bytes.OptionType = OPTIONBYTE_USER | OPTIONBYTE_RDP; ob_bytes.USERConfig = OB_NDBANK_DUAL_BANK | OB_DUAL_BOOT_DISABLE | OB_IWDG_SW | OB_STOP_NO_RST | OB_STDBY_NO_RST | OB_IWDG_STOP_ACTIVE | OB_IWDG_STDBY_ACTIVE | OB_WWDG_SW; ob_bytes.RDPLevel = OB_RDP_LEVEL_0;   HAL_FLASHEx_OBProgram(&ob_bytes);   if(HAL_FLASH_OB_Launch() != HAL_OK) { return HAL_ERROR; } HAL_FLASH_OB_Lock(); } else return ret;

Hello,I am trying to generate white noise using the DAC, much like was mentioned in this forum post:How to generate a white noise with the DAC on STM32L1However, I don't know if putting values into memory table and using cyclic mode is the only answer. From my research using Audio and waveform generation using the DAC in STM32 microcontrollers - Application note, it looks like you should be able to use the LFSR (Linear Feedback Shift Register) / Random Number Generator in Figure 5 to make white noise as is shown in Figure 6 on page 9: Here is how I have my STMCubeMX set:And here is my "Software Trigger": HAL_DAC_Start(&hdac, DAC1_CHANNEL_1); HAL_DAC_Start(&hdac, DAC1_CHANNEL_2);Yet, when I look at the oscilloscope, all I get is a DC offset just like my friend in the other forum post observed: Any thoughts on this? Many thanks in advance!

Hello all,I have STM32F439 MCU.I use STM32CubeProgrammer to program the MCU through ST Bootloader.STM32CubeProgrammer writes:Bootloader protocol version: 3.1According to AN2606 (STM32 microcontroller system memory boot mode) the valid version for STM32F42xxx/43xxx are: V7.0 or V9.0 or V9.1.Can you please advise why the reported version of Bootloader is 3.1?Thanks in advance.Yacob.

I have tried the HAL_OB function.No change was good.So I ran the code below.After that, ST LINK connection is not possible.MCU is not responding.Is there no way to get it back?MCU : STM32G07xCODE :         FLASH_OBProgramInitTypeDef OBInit;        if(HAL_FLASH_Unlock() == HAL_OK)         {          if(HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock() == HAL_OK)           {            PRINT("HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock OK\r\n");            OBInit.OptionType = OPTIONBYTE_USER;            // OBInit.USERType = OB_USER_nRST_STDBY|OB_USER_IWDG_STOP|OB_USER_nRST_STOP;&nbs

Hi,I am prototyping on a SPC570S-DISP development board, and I am trying to enable the checker core in the MCU. I read the technical reference manual, and it has stated that the checker core can be enabled from the UTEST DCF memory registers. How can I access these registers from the SPC5 application, because such a setting is not available in the configuration GUI. Furthermore, I would really appreciate if I could get some advice as to how to access other registers as well.Thank you.Nisal

Hello, my EVB is based on STM32MP151A SoC. The situation we are facing is that sometimes, the FSBL gets stuck and we would like to recover from it. i.e. reflash some Known Good FSBL.   As the FSBL in that situation is kinda functional, the device will not fallback to boot from Serial. On the other hand, as the FSBL is itself stuck, any SW based solution to do so is irrelevant. Ideally, we need some external mean to force a serial boot, either from the STCube programmer, or the JTAG, or the like.   As this seems like a very likely problem to appear during dev, there must be some classical solution to it, unfortunately, i couldn't find out a way from all the docs I could read.   Is that known to anybody ? Thanks, Jacques

I use SPC5studio to build code, there are some configurations of warning I want to reset, but it don't take effect. The configuration of path is my_project-->Properities-->C/C++ General-->Code Analysis-->Use project settings. I wonder wether is it right?

Hello,I'm working on the SPC574S-DISP board, I've set up FreeRTOS and I would like to have a way to do a non-intrusive scanf.I would like the program to keep running and wait for a key to be pressed to access a submenu.The problem is that with scanf(), the debug gets stuck.Can you help me?Thank you very much in advance RegardsBastien

I have used PWM in SPC560 MCU and in addition to that DMA is required for ws2811 addressable led.how to use pwm with DMA.Thanks in AdvanceRegards,AK

Hi, I am unable to go to the smart selector web page. When I click on the web link, I get this error (see the screenshot).

Given that the VL6180-SATEL breakout board has no mounting holes, is there a preferred method to accurately and rigidly mount it in the desired position and parallel to the mounting surface?I would prefer to have it removable, so a permanent adhesive does not appear to be the best solution.Thanks

Hi, I have to use STM32L562CEU6P on my project.This uP has two VDD12 pin for external SMPS.My question is simple, this SMPS supply is required or can I left this pins floating?I don't need this feature and manual is not very clear.Thanks in advance.

Hi,I'm experiencing a curious issue with the Real Time Clock of an STM32F746BGT6. When running a legacy project, the RTC is every bit as accurate as I'd expect it to be. When running a new TouchGFX template I've generated for the hardware, the RTC loses about 5s for each minute. I've combed through the startup code and the data sheets and there doesn't seem to be a good explanation for why this is. In both cases I am setting up the clock to reference the LSE in the RCC initialization, and in both cases I am using the same values for the synchronous and asynchronous divisors within the RTC registers. In both cases the time is being read using calls to       HAL_RTC_GetTime(&hrtc, &currentTime, RTC_FORMAT_BIN);      HAL_RTC_GetDate(&hrtc, &currentDate, RTC_FORMAT_BIN);//necessary for next readI can post more code if this would be helpful, but the RTC seems pretty uncomplicated so I'm not sure what I've missed. I

Hi all, I am trying to make an own private key on the SBSFU, if anyone has succeeded in this could you pass me the steps which I have to proceed with. I went through An5056, then I tried to change ECCkey1 but in some cases. it works and it is upgrading with the previous key generated firmware without any issues. in general, this cannot happen. it should reject while installing since it has 2 different keys. So can anyone tell me where I have gone wrong?

Hello, I would like to know if it possible to make RX interrupt with the serial driver initialize thanks to Runtime-IO Component RLA ?In reality, I want to use scanf() with interrupt to make it non-blocking.Thank you by advanceRespectfully Bastien
