Hello,I have created a board similar to the NFC03A1, and 6 different exchangeable antennas to be able to use the desired one. I matched all of the antennas to approximately impedance of 45-50 Ohms. Showcasing one here: Now I received a question on why didn't I match them to the impedance of 27 Ohms, which is stated in a datasheet to be the differential impedance. I found in the other post here, where you guys state that: The target impedance can be between 27 +0j and 50 + 0j. In that case I would be in the limits and should be no problem, my question is though...Why there could be this variety of impedances ranging from 27 to 50 ohms and what does it affect when I used higher impedance that the differential one from datasheet? Thank you so much for your time, I am so sorry but I am new to the antenna designing and just trying to understand it as much as possible. Mike

Hello,I am using an UM2516 (B-G431B-ESC1 Discovery kit) eval board with the STM32G431 microcontroller. In the documentation is written:"2 user LEDs: 1 green LED for 3.3 V level, and 1 red LED configurable by the user"I want to use the red LED as visual feedback but i am not able to figure out on which pin of the microcontroller the led is connected. Its not mentioned in the official documentation under the chapter "STM32G431CB pinout for motor control" and not predefined in the program example of the eval board given. Can someone help?Is there a schematic for this evaluation board (discovery kit)? Thanks for help in advance

Hi Technical team,Hardware Environment : SPC560P50L5I am using example program 'SPC560Pxx_RLA SERIAL Test Application for Discovery'I am able to transmit data to console window by using above example (using UART).I dont know , how to use this example for receiving data through UART.Can you guide me support to receive data from UART with ISR ?Can you give me Application note for UART receive ?How can i use existing API?

Trying to program SPC560B50L5 MCU with SPC560B54- Discovery board through JTAG.About 4 devices of discovery boards have No Target Error. Need to know is there any problem with debugger or the software's used or the MCU board.Complier used SPC5 Studio.Debugger UDESTK 5.0Regards, AK

We have the SPC572L -DISP dicovery board and the SPC5-UDESTK pluged in to the JTAG connector. When running UDE STK 5.2 our board is not avalible when selecting Target configuration. How can we get the connection to work? When will the SPC5 studio integrated debugger/programer be avaliable?Best regards/Lars

i'd like to intefare SPC58EC-disp with TJCTM24028-SPI 2.8 Inch Touch LCD Module, which mounts ILI9341 single-chip SOC driver.Does SPC5Studio software package provide an LCD library component which allows its use?Where can i find LCD library component?RegardsOrazio

Hello! I've tried to modify UTEST DCF Client but some questions (below) appeared to me.In RM0349 on the page 260 I see the it's Reset value. How can I read it? UTEST Flash memory with the address 0x00400308 is empty. At the same table I see "offset" column. Which means this offset? Address in flash or only Address bits of current DCF record? How can I ensure that my values are successfully loaded in MCU? Which registers should I check? I'm coding via SPC5 Studio and debugging via UDE STK. My MCU is SPC570S40E1.How can I modify values in this memory? I need reflash new data with the same CSn at next free address UTEST DCF Client, right?Sorry, I'm new here and maybe I've done something wrong. This is mine post below:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000NBVl1SAH/enabling-lockstep-core-in-spc570s-mcuUpd:I've found AN4557. And now I really don't undestand anything in the DCF records. How to make CS field? etc...=(Thank you,Nikolay Mannhof

I'm trying to edit the device tree of the distribution but there is no .dts or .dtsi files in all the distribution package directories. The only way I found to experiment modifying the device tree is doing it with developper package (I modified stm32mp157c-dk2.dts) but I now must add it to the distribution and I'm still not able to force bitbake to generate any dts file. How can I do it.Thank you in advance.

Using SP560B50 MCU, but programming the IC is the complex part.We used SPC560B54-DIS board to program the B50 IC, but the DIS board repeatedly fails with FDTI driver issue.Kindly suggest any other programmer or way to program them.Regards,AK

Hello,I'm trying to control a motor thanks to a SPC574S and L9960S board, but I didn't find example for L9960S configuration.I made my proper code to configure registers and others, but the H-bridge still not working...Someone can help me?Here is the link of L9960S eval board: https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/eval-l9960.html#cad-resourcesThanks you in advance.RespectfullyBastien

Just want to know if a STWINKT1B Kit can be configured to connect to a STM32MP157C-DK2 with X-LINUX-PREDMNT

I am always indebted.I have a ListLayout in touchgfx template. The list shows his icon and a fixed string.I want to add a variable string to this.I want to display a variable string using "% d", "% f", "% s" of sprintf ().How should it be realized?A screen example is attached. Please give me advice.

Hello,When I connect USB-C source power to our device, PD sniffer shows Source:DFP sends DR_Swap message to our device, which has a STUSB4500 PD controller. However, our device(Sink:UDP) always sends Reject command. My questions are:Does STUSB4500 support DR_Swap message? We want to swap data role based on PD negotiation, how to get the message and how to process it to reply Accept? Is there a register that record the DR_Swap message? From STUSB4500, is there a way to trigger to have PD source to send the DR_Swap message again? Thanks,Winston

My STM32MP157F-DK2 is powered by 5V 3A PSU. but at the boot up time, always it displays the warning *****************************************************    WARNING 500mA power supply detected    **   Current too low, use a 3A power supply!   *******************************************************At the end of the boot process, I do see following display as well:root@stm32mp1:~# [  33.112323] usb33: supplied by vdd_usb[  33.114843] vref: supplied by vdd[  33.118045] vref: disabling[  33.120724] vdda: disabling

Ok, I scratched my head long enough and now my hope lies with the ST Community. =) I would like to understand how this code in the header file stm32f1xx_ll_gpio.h works. In particular, what does (Pin >> 24) do? I suspect that the code sets two registers: GPIOx_BSRR and GPIOx_CRL. Here: Pin = LL_GPIO_PIN_5 GPIOx = GPIOCThank you.__STATIC_INLINE void LL_GPIO_SetPinMode(GPIO_TypeDef *GPIOx, uint32_t Pin, uint32_t Mode){ register uint32_t *pReg = (uint32_t *)((uint32_t)(&GPIOx->CRL) + (Pin >> 24)); MODIFY_REG(*pReg, ((GPIO_CRL_CNF0 | GPIO_CRL_MODE0) << (POSITION_VAL(Pin) * 4U)), Mode << (POSITION_VAL(Pin) * 4U)));}

I used ImageMagick to change a image into 256 colors that I want to used L8_RGB565 image. magick convert ***.png  -colors 256 ***_L8.pngBut the TouchGFX compiler returned an error : ERROR: Too many colors (762) for palette. Consider using RGB565. ERROR: L8_RGB565 image assets/images/***_L8.png has too many colors for palette. Consider using RGB565. Hi!I'm using FC-12M 32.7680KA-A5 LSE crystal and my STM32F373VBT6 won't start if I'm suing LSE crystal. But if I'm suing LSI crystal, then my STM32 will start.I have made two(2) boards and both of them LSE won't start.  My suggestions why are:To big capacitorsSTM32F373VBT6 is brokenThe crystal is brokenBug in STM32CubeIDE 1.6.1Crystal is to far away from the MCUWhat do you think is the right according to the information below? My setup looks like this. I'm using 15 pF capacitors because I computed them with the formula:C = 2(CL - Cs) = 15Where CL = 12.5 pF is the load capacity of the crystal.Cs = 5 pF is the stray capacity of the board. The PCB layout for the LSE crystal. PC15 and PC14 is it mounted at. I have followed recommended CubeMX setupI have selected the correct LSE crystal according from the recommendations from ST.And the crystal information looks like this:

What does BCD™ “offline? technology mean? Can someone provide a definition or explanation of what the BCD offline technology mean? Its in a datasheet I am reviewing for part number L6384E if that helps.

It does parse global variables in the corresponding .elf file of the same project, compiled in Debug mode (without optimizations). The introductory video (of Cube Monitor) said it can parse debug and release .elf files, but it does not seem to be the case.

Hello , I had started a project with STM32F410RB wish communicate with a keyboard and LCDActually i wrote my program that call SysTick_Handler from stm32f4xx_it.c to interact keyboard and detect if there is a button pressed and wrote caracter on LCD. Everything in going  well until here. Now i would like to integrate RTOS on my project to communicate with other board and i'm planning to create 2 task, one for (keyboard/LCD) and one for the other boardI would like to hear from your experience if i'm making mistakes and what things should i take care about?Thank you in advanceBest Regards,

I am using an IHM07M1 with NUCLEO-F446RE, and a rather large BLDC motor. If I use a 24V supply voltage the ST Motor Profiler 5.Y.1 is able to complete fine, but when I connect my 48V supply the profiler almost immediately fails once I start it, I don't see any movement in the motor.I looked at the jumper configuration on the board and I don't think there is anything wrong with it. The 48V supply is not destroying my setup, I can go back to the 24V and it works fine.Is there some rework or other configuration that needs to be done to scale a measurement or something to support the higher voltage?Thanks,-KylerEdit:Did some testing with a bench top power supply, the profiler seems to fail once the voltage supply is about 36V or more.
