I have downloaded the tool and checked it with the Apex One Virusscan and there was no alarm. When I open the tool the executable will be immediately quarantined. Is there a known bug and can you help me with that?BR Marco

 i want to flash program to target board and also debug which is suitable for my part number and also i want to flash program to target board without PC support for industrial purpose(SPC5-UDESTK-EVAL) is this ok for my requirement

I am using STMCubeIDE version 1.7.0 and I saw the generate code for the initializationhas different orders when I configured my ADC with DMASometime the code was generate with ADC init before the DMA init MX_ADC1_Init(); MX_ADC3_Init(); MX_DMA_Init();Sometime the code was generate with DMA init before ADC init MX_DMA_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init(); MX_ADC3_Init();Is there a rule for the auto generated code orders?

I tried HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit, HAL_I2C_Master_Receive, HAL_I2C_Mem_Write, HAL_I2C_Mem_Read and even the DMA functions but nothing works - The 8th bit is always 0 and the ACK is always 1.Due to the fact that I'm trying to read the WHO_AM_I value of a register 0x00 on device with address 0x68, I'm expecting write operation at the beginning, writing the value of the address of the internal register. This is my function and printf should print 0xEA.void I2C_readReg(uint16_t Slave_ADRS, uint8_t Reg_ADRS, uint16_t Size, uint8_t *pBufferRead){ uint8_t pBufferWrite[1]; uint16_t MovedAdrs = (uint16_t)(Slave_ADRS<<1); HAL_I2C_Mem_Read(&hi2c1, MovedAdrs, (uint16_t)Reg_ADRS, (uint16_t)1, pBufferRead, (uint16_t)Size, (uint32_t)I2C_READ_TIMEOUT); printf("val read %x \n\r", pBufferRead[0]);}Where's Slave_ADRS=0x68 and Reg_ADRS=0x00

Hello,I'm new to TouchGFX software.I'm trying to use the display for the STM32H757I-Eval board.I have configured a GUI template using the TouchGFX software. Below is the procedure I followed:Using STM32CUBEMX in the default mode and enabled the TouchGFX and specified the dimensions of the board for the STM32H757I-eval board. Then generated the STM32 cube IDE code. Now from STM32 cube ide I opened the TouchGFX .part file and selected the blank UI and selected some parameters and generated the code.Next when I built the code I am receiving the following errors.14:50:09 **** Incremental Build of configuration Debug for project DEMO_DISPLAY_CM4 ****make -j4 all arm-none-eabi-g++ "../TouchGFX/target/generated/OSWrappers.cpp" -mcpu=cortex-m4 -std=gnu++14 -g3 -DDEBUG -DCORE_CM4 -DUSE_HAL_DRIVER -DSTM32H757xx -c -I../TouchGFX/App -I../TouchGFX/target/generated -I../TouchGFX/target -I../Core/Inc -I../../Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/Inc -I../../Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/Inc/Legacy -I../../

I'm using NUCLEO-207FZGIn cubeIDE, HAL driver is provided by default.I want to change to the SPL(Standard Peripheral Library).Since I am a beginner, I would like to get tips. Before you try, ask a question.I wonder if it is enough to simply add the SPL folder, or if there is a function to change the library in cubeIDE?

I'm not an embedded Dev by any means, just trying to throw together a low energy project and I've been racking my head around this for a few weeks now, I can't get the STM32L0 to communicate with my VL53L1X via the provided API.I'll post code snippets here shortly, but I've been able to communicate with it with the HAL read/write commands and do not get a HAL_ERROR (confirmed by altering device address and the HAL_ERROR was returned).I'm able to run all of the API methods without getting an error status code but when I go to actually read the measurements it's negative, completely off (100s MM off) and it will always return the same measurement regardless of clear interrupt and start measurement. If anyone has some insights into this let me know. I've ordered a logic analyzer to ensure that the API is actually doing anything with the sensor. Also if anyone knows where I might be able to find any resources to using this sensor via HAL commands instead of the API that would be great. Hey, I recently ordered an ST25R3916-DISCO board for communicating with ST25 RFID tag antennas. I connected the board to my PC via the micro-USB cable and was able to detect my antenna via the R/W feature on the MCU. Furthermore, I downloaded the ST25R3916 discovery GUI software on my PC to obtain the RFID communication data (specifically RSSI values) on the computer. However, the software UI is grayed out and is not recognizing my board. I looked up the user manual for setting up the ST25R3916-DISCO board and it specifies installing the "DISCO_STM32L4x6.hex" firmware file. However, I am not able to locate the file in the installation directory. The file that I have in the firmware directory is "ST25R3916Demo_MB1414B_v1.2.0.hex". I also downloaded the "STSW-ST25R011" file which is the firmware for the ST25R3916-DISCO board, but couldn't locate the firmware file in there as well. Please let me know how I can get the discovery GUI to identify my board.

What is the default value of user memory and where is this stated in the datasheet for the ST25DV NFC EEPROM chip?

The STM32L5 reference manual states that there are "4 Kbytes of option bytes for user configuration" accessible via the Flash register interface (section 6.3.1), but no further details are provided on how to access that space for user data storage.I found a question here, which answers this question for another chip (STM32F0): https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkfPkSAJ/simple-example-program-to-read-and-write-option-bytes-on-stm32f042k6-using-hal-librariesMy problem is, the STM32L5 HAL code (1.4.0) doesn't define the HAL_FLASHEx_OBGetUserData function, or even the OPTIONBYTE_DATA type. How is the option byte flash page for user configuration accessed on the L5? Is this actually a supported feature? Thanks!

When creating a new Freertos Task like this: osThreadNew(StartDefaultTask, NULL, &defaultTask_attributes);prvAddNewTaskToReadyList(...)will be called and uses taskENTER_CRITICAL()to disable interrupts. This breaks down to the call of void vPortEnterCritical( void )void vPortEnterCritical( void )which increases uxCriticalNesting by one. Before leaving void vPortExitCritical()is called. This function should decrease uxCriticalNesting and reactivate interrupts if uxCriticalNesting == 0.However, uxCriticalNesting was previously initialized with  0xaaaaaaaa. So that uxCriticalNesting == 0 is not reached.A later call of osKernelStart();finally sets uxCriticalNesting to 0 and reactivates all interrupts. This results in deactivated interrupts between the first task creation and kernel start, which has undesirable side effects such as the systick timer being stopped, which results in a broken HAL_Delay() function.

Hi all,Referring to previous discussion I had.I just want understand what are the PWM limits for STM32MP1.I can't seem to generate PWM signal below 100ms. Any inputs will be appreciated. My target frequency is 1KHz.https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W000014y9ZzSAI/maximum-value-of-pwm-period

Greetings!I'm trying to update my STM32CubeIDE 1.6.1 to the newest version but I get the following error:More details are here: https://pastebin.com/NpDgAkMQDoes anyone know the solution to this besides reinstalling everything?BRDomagoj

Hi all,I have configured TIM1_CH3N as a pwm channel.I am trying to do some PWM functionality here.I am following current tutorial here. When i tried to provide a period of 10 sec it fails to take up the value. I get following error :root@stm32mp157a-visionsom-rgb-emmc-mx:/usr/local/firmware_demos# echo 10000000000 > /sys/class/pwm/pwmchip4/pwm2/duty_cycle pwm2 sh: write error: Invalid argument100000000Is there some limit to what value we can provide here?

Good morning,I'm designing a board based on ST25RU3993-HPEV development board. I'm finding some problems in understanding which oscillator to use. On both schematic and dm00717148 is said that only one oscillator between XO and TCXO should be used but on the (as bought from ST) board I have they are both connected, how is it possible? Did anyone has the same problem? Thanks

Hello,I created a simple project for a board NUCLEO-F303RE enabling USART2 and DMA for transmit and I believe there is a bug in the code generation that doesn't configure properly the peripherals.The generated code has: /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_USART2_UART_Init(); MX_TIM2_Init(); MX_DMA_Init(); MX_USART3_UART_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */Then the MX_USART2_UART_Init has: /* USART2_TX Init */ LL_DMA_SetDataTransferDirection(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_7, LL_DMA_DIRECTION_MEMORY_TO_PERIPH);   LL_DMA_SetChannelPriorityLevel(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_7, LL_DMA_PRIORITY_LOW);   LL_DMA_SetMode(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_7, LL_DMA_MODE_NORMAL);   LL_DMA_SetPeriphIncMode(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_7, LL_DMA_PERIPH_NOINCREMENT);   LL_DMA_SetMemoryIncMode(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_7, LL_DMA_MEMORY_INCREMENT);   LL_DMA_SetPeriphSize(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_7, LL_DMA_PDATAALIGN_BYTE);   LL_DMA_SetMemorySize(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_7, LL_DMA_MDATAALIG

Hello,I'm using a STM32G0B1CC and I'm trying to remap address 0x00000000 to SRAM like this: __HAL_RCC_SYSCFG_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_SYSCFG_REMAPMEMORY_SRAM();Unfortunately this does not work and 0x00000000 is still mapped to FLASH.If I try to remap to system memory it works just fine: __HAL_RCC_SYSCFG_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_SYSCFG_REMAPMEMORY_SYSTEMFLASH();Remapping back to FLASH is working just fine, too...This is just baffling me because this just works with my original application using the STM32F030CC. Is there a restriction related to remapping SRAM?Thank you for your kind help!

Hi,We are thinking to use the ST25R3911B for one of our products but we don't see any way or documentation to upgrade its firmware in cases when ST publish a new firmware that fixes any bug or a new version that improves anything. Is there any way to update its firmware? If yes, where is the documentation of how end user can upgrade it? Thank you

MCU is STM32L0.The file I use to program has option bytes added with read-protection turned ON. :020000041FF8E3 :0C0000000000FFFF7A80857FFF0000FFFA :00000001FFUsing ST-link V3, I'm having this error: (see attached screenshot)  Command line:stm32_programmer_cli -c port=SWD freq=8000 mode=UR -d "%FILE%" -vIt was ok if I use ST-link V2 with this command:st-link_cli -c SWD FREQ=4000 UR -P %FILE% -V while_programming

I am using the Bluepill board. I want to generate PWM signal on Timer2 and set up a timer interrupt at 20ms interval on Timer3. I realized that the PWM signal cannot be generated if I set up the timer interrupt on Timer3. How do I solve this problem?

This has been a reoccurring issue for me, whenever I raise the ADC frequency above 0.25MHZ the while loop gets interrupted, and when I use frequencies below that the ADC resolution drops to 8 bits for an unknown reason. Is there a way to fix this without having to use poll for conversion or IT?note: I'm using cubeIDE./* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * <h2><center>© Copyright (c) 2021 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved.</center></h2> * * This software component is licensed by ST under BSD 3-Clause license, * the "License"; You may not use this file except in compliance with the * License.
