Hello, I got board STEVAL - SPIN3202 and i want to use it with BLDC motor. how i will get getting started with it? i even not found any example. can anyone direct me to that? Thanks.

Hey, I'm currently trying to get myself away from HAL, insteed using a more direct implementation. So the first thing I am trying is a simple blinky programm, with as little as possible number of files. I downloaded the StdPeripherel Files for my board (STM32F103RB-Nucleo), but I cannot locate the startup_stm32F1xx.s file. So my question is, do you actually need it?And if yes, where do I get it from?

Hi,I want to set a publish address in node-1 in BLE mesh without using the mobile app. This address can be either unicast address of other node or group address. Node-2 should be able to receive messages from this node without setting its subscribe address. In the node-1, I have tried using :AppliConfigClient_SelfPublicationSet -> ConfigClient_PublicationSet -> ConfigModel_SelfPublishConfigHere, publish address (unicast address of node-2) is successfully set (checked the return value of the APIs) but publication error occurs on the sw1 press and the node-2 does not receive any message.I don't want any mobile app intervention after provisioning the nodes.Which API can be used for my use case ? What am I doing wrong ?Can I get 'configuration server' code files ? If yes, then how ?Kindly help me out.

Hello,I am struggling with getting a display connected to FMC bus up and running. The problem is that the display remains black all the time.I have followed the TouchGFX documentation, and implemented code according to TouchGFX AL Development. I used the scenario "FMC and SPI display Interface" and implemented the code described in that chapter.I use STM32CubeMx for setup the hardware and generate code (for IAR EWB). Then TouchGFX Designer for generating graphics. Then remade code in STM32CubeMx, and then using IAR EWB to implement the rest. I have enabled FreeRTOS in STM32CubeMx, and the MX_TouchGFX_Process() is running in a task.I have made setup code for the display (Winstar 2.4" 320x240 with ILI9341 driver). The setup code is tested, and I can send and recieve data to/from display.Vsync (FMARK) is working and updating semaphore for touchgfx vsync (OSWrappers::signalVSync();).I can see that tick() for touchGFX is updating constantly. But display is constantly black.I have made a simpl

Could you provide source code of ST25R3916 Discovery graphical user interface Part Number STSW-ST25R010 v1.1.0 (ST25R3916_Discovery_GUI_v1_1_0.exe) ?It will be very useful in order to add specific treatment / tests ...

Hi Guys,I am in the mist of changing my linker file as I just recently found out that my DMA buffers are located in 0x2001FF0C region which is the DTCM (DMA can't access this region). I have tried changing the "RAM" to "RAM_D2" that didn't do anything. The only way I got it to change was change the DMA buffer to a static then change the linker, however I dont want it to be static. I also notice when I change any of the linker .bss or .data anytime I try to insert a new() into an array it hardfaults now. Linker file:/* ****************************************************************************** ** ** File : LinkerScript.ld ** ** Author : STM32CubeIDE ** ** Abstract : Linker script for STM32H7 series ** 2048Kbytes FLASH and 192Kbytes RAM ** ** Set heap size, stack size and stack location according ** to application requirements. ** ** Set memory bank area and size if external memory is used. ** ** Target : STMicroelectronics STM32 ** ** Distribution: The file is distributed as is, with

Posted on July 13, 2018 at 02:03Hi everyone,I have what I hope is a quick question about using an ISO14443A type 2 card with the CR95HF.Page 53 of the CR95HF datasheet shows the output of an anticollision algorithm (copied below).  And I've implemented similar functionality using the CR95HF and an NTAG216 (NXP NTAG). In the responses in my system, and the CR95HF datasheet example, there is a 0x28 that sometimes follows the data received from the tag.  This byte seems to mean that there is a CRC error, and that the 'first byte' has 8 significant bits (page 22 of the CR95HF datasheet).  I have no idea which byte is the 'first byte', but assume it is related to collisions.I'm most curious where the CRC error is occurring.  It seems to be ignored in the output of the anticollision example, as though it doesn't matter.  And there seems to be no CRC error associated with the Select 1 command (response is 0x08, not 0x28). I also see that

Drone firmware like betaflight or cleanflight come with GUI configurator software that allow settings/variables to be changed using the UI and then built uploaded onto an STM32 MCU all through the config software. I know the configuration software uses make to compile but I'm not sure on how it can actually change the variable values within code.I have a basic robotics project but requires a lot of calibration and changing of physical parts for testing, as a result some variables and source files need not to be defined or compiled and some do depending on many different tests. I want to write a basic UI configuration software like the ones for drones, but I'm not sure on how the config software is able to acccess and change variables in the source code. How is this done?

Hi,How to calculate the ISO14443-a CRC value(16 bit). Please help me how to get the CRC.ISO14443-A >>> CR95HFDLL_SENDRECEIVE, 300028<< 8015 6A1E4DB17E00004B3592000000000000 9BC3 0800000x9BC3 ISO14443-a CRC valueKind Regards,Merin

Hi,Parsing the datasheet DS13560 of the STM32G0B1RE device, there is a discrepency between table 12, where some pins of port C have the FDCAN peripheral listed as alternate function, however it is not present in table 13.On the contrary, PE0 and PE1 are listed as alternate function of FDCAN in table 13, but not in table 12.Please ST, fix this datasheet ASAP and provide me the correct alternate function pins for the FDCAN peripheral.Best regards.

I i am trying to follow the AN5604 (STM32WB Series BLE interoperability report) but im unnable of enabling the debug UART. Hi,I have been attempting to find out why I cannot get a usart to transmit (or presumably receive) in the above project.I have set up a simple cubeide project for usart6 (below) and this works fine.I set up the same sequence in LwIP_HTTP_Server_Netconn_RTOS H743 project (example in STM32Cube_FW_H7) on the same board (below). I also removed the MPU_config and CPU_cache sections. I cannot get a peep from usart6 even when I do not enter any of the LWIP/Netconn/RTOS sections (which work fine on the original project). It must be something to do with memory allocation, or perhaps GPIO allocation, or maybe the flash.ld but I've spent hours and I cannot find it. I realise that there is no specific GPIO allocation in the project, but do you need a gpio_init section for just a usart?Could you please help? Simple Usart6 from cubeide - works OK*****************int main(void){ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* Configure th

Help, I want to create a GAMEPAD  USB HID stm32F103, I am lost, can you tell me an example?

Recompiling Linux kernel I have to rebuild the whole image because of kernel-modules, that are dependent on kernel version. After that I have to upload the whole image into STM development board via CubeMX Programmer which takes quiet a lot time. How can I recompile only kernel modules package so that I can deploy it into target with kernel itself, install (via package manager) and get new kernel without building and uploading the whole image ?

I am looking for the CE declarations of conformity for the two boards. This is also actually to ask whether these two boards have the CE certification marking. The MB1180 user manual mentions only FCC and IC certifications, and the MB1136 user manual doesn't mention any certification at all.

I want to test on the capture module to find out the pulse width of arrived pulses at timer pins in my real application. So, here I want a development board for the STM32L475 to work on this application like generating pulses from one-timer PWM and loop back to another timer capture module. Can you help us find the development board? I have not found anything better on the web.

according to https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00373474-digital-camera-interface-dcmi-on-stm32-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf sec 4.4.3, it says request 74. But according to the reference manual https://www.st.com/resource/en/reference_manual/dm00314099-stm32h742-stm32h743-753-and-stm32h750-value-line-advanced-arm-based-32-bit-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf Table 121, it says request 75. I have STM32G070KB MCU connected with M24SR02-Y via I2C and GPO. I have no problem to write some NDEF message through I2C and then read it with my phone app. But what I need is to read actual (!!!) data with my phone. That means I write periodically some data in NFC tag through I2C.But what I like is to write data by demand. As I see this pin GPO could be used to detect that RF session is started, and I tried to write at this moment some data into NFC Tag. But this action destroys RF session and phone app shows error. Is there some way to update NFC Tag NDEF message “on the fly? during RF request or not? Thanks.

I try to learn how to use OPAMP by testing the example code Examples/OPAMP/OPAMP_PGA/.The MCU board is Nucleo-G431RB.This is the case of OPAMP_PGA_GAIN_2_OR_MINUS_1: blue line is output by DAC and red is by OPAMP. My 1st question: why the amplified signal is distorted. Isn't it supposed to be another sine wave? This is the case of OPAMP_PGA_GAIN_4_OR_MINUS_3.My 2nd question: the amplitudes of the amplified signal seem not matching the gain.Once the gain >= 8, the amplified signal becomes almost straight line. I also wonder why.I want to modify the example code: I want to route the OPAMP output internally to a ADC channel. What steps I need to do?

Dear experts,I am new to STM32 world, so I apologize, if my question is inappropriate. Is there a way how can I see the program differences between saved project (PC) and the one that is loaded in the MCU?I'm using System Workbench IDE to program stm32f405rgt6. MCU is integrated in working device, that needs some changes to be done. But I'm not sure if I have the correct revision of project.Mostly I work with PLCs, and there is a possibility to compare program, that is loaded in CPU memory, and the software project in programming device. But this is totally different world.

Hi,I try to display a float with a precision of 9 number after the digit. My wildcard buffer size is set to 20.Unicode::snprintfFloat(textArea1Buffer, TEXTAREA1_SIZE, "%.9f", 0.123456789f);   textArea1.invalidate();My output when running the simulator is the following: 0.123457Is the snprintfFloat format limited to 6 digits ? I'm using TouchGFX Designer 4.17.0.Thanks

Hello STM-Team,We are developing a custom board based on STM32MP157C-Eval board. In that, we are planning to have MLC NAND Part number #MT29F16G08CBACAWP:C instead of SLC NAND.For Software point of view, I want to understand that if the existing NAND drivers will work for MLC NAND devices or any changes/support required in exiting kernel driver?Thank you.Regards,Pratik Manvar

I'm mounting my MCU on PCB. I have done the schematic referring from https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/stm32l476je.pdf . Please help me verify this. My conditions are as follows.I am using 2 Digital sensors and one LoRa as communication module. All are digital devices and don't deal with analog signals. My circuit provides 3.3 V DC to MCU.I will use few digital pins are I/O to my system.I'll use the MCU counter and timer.NOTE: Please let me know does VDD USB pin can support 5V DC? If not, then how a program should be uploaded to the MCU?
