I´m trying to calculate my LD1086PUR to output 5v and 3.3V for an ESP32 and somehow can´t get it right. Does someone have an idea which resistor I should use or how I can calculate the resistor? I tried the Vo=Vref * (1+R2/R1) but it doesn't seem to add up.

I'm trying to recreate one of the example projects from https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/x-cube-azrtos-f4/tree/main/Projects/STM32469I-Discovery/Applications/USBX/Ux_Device_CDC_ACM I have a nucleo-F446ZE board for this test. I created the bare project in CubeMX and added the Azure RTOS software components. I then added the methods from the above example and compiled. Running this on the board fails with a memory error unless I increase the ux static memory size to 74*1024. After that I can connect the USB port to my laptop and get a device appearing but it has 'device descriptor' errors. I'm confused about the dynamic memory comment in the example readme, even though the example itself suggests static allocation for the ux components. I'm not sure what to look at next to debug this further, any suggestions are welcome. My project code is here: https://github.com/jonbramble/rtos_usbx_barebones

I'm using STM32L4Q5CGUX on my project. I found some gpio errors. When I write on PB9, it's written on PB8. And I can't write on PB11. Could you guys check together, please?

Hi,I see that STWLC68 has a 32-bit 64 MHz ARM Cortex microcontroller core. How can I program or debug this device using STM32CubeIDE. I'm not able to create a project with this device.gaston

I have done a bit a research already to try and figure out if I could do this. First thing I tried was to use the ST Link update tool but that just updated it to the newest ST Link V1 file. I also found this link https://visserslatijn.wordpress.com/2019/01/20/upgrade-st-link-v1-to-v2/Which explains basically the same situation I am in. Seeing as this was posted in 2019 I thought It might be a bit out of date and I was wondering if there was any other way that I could do this? I have other nucleo boards so I was thinking I could use one of those to program the. STM32F103C8I also noticed that the nucleo boards use a STM32F103RB and not the STM32F103C8 which as pointed out in the link above has less memory and there are a few minor changes to the schematic. In the end he said he was able to to successfully modify it to a ST-Linkv2. I would be willing to spend a bit of time to try and figure this out but at the same time I also was hoping for an easier solution than what the link above ha

I am using the HSE and LSE for the STM32WB. I am under the impression that you must use the 32MHz HSE if using BLE. I am also under the impression that you should be able to set your CPU1 (app processor ) to 64MHz. I have tried all kinds of things in the .ioc file and it always wants to revert to using the MSI source / PLL to set CPU1 to 64MHz and CPU2 to 32MHz. Can someone tell me how to set CPU1 to 64MHz while having CP2 (radio) at 32MHz using HSE?

I'm running FUS 1.2.0 on an STM32WB55CEU and every time I try to update the BLE firmware over USB I get a FUS image write error. It appears to download and verify successfully but always fails during the actual firmware update. I can't seem to find this error anywhere else on the forum (or Google) so am I the only one having this issue?  08:58:38 : ST-LINK error (DEV_CONNECT_ERR) 08:58:45 : USB speed  : Full Speed (12MBit/s) 08:58:45 : Manuf. Hi everybody!I have an STM32F411RE Nucleoboard and an ADXL345-M accelerometer. I have 2 problems.I want to read 1 byte data from the accelerometer. In this case I want to get he device id (0xe5) and store it in a variable. In debug mode it seems that the device id gets into the data register, but when I want to store it in a variable nothing happens. When I debug my code and if I stay a bit more time on a line where I'm waiting e.g. for the ADDR=1 (while(!(I2C1->SR1 & I2C_SR1_ADDR)) {}), after click to "Step Over" it seems that it get's into an endless loop.I attach my code and a picture about register values.Thank you in advance for your help!Best regards,Martinvoid I2C_Init(void) {   //I2C_1 SCL: PB8 //I2C_1 SDA: PB9   //Enable clock access to I2C RCC->APB1ENR |= RCC_APB1ENR_I2C1EN;   //Enable clock access to GPIOB RCC->AHB1ENR |= RCC_AHB1ENR_GPIOBEN;   //Set alternate function mode AF04 GPIOB->MODER &= ~(0x3 <<16); GPIOB->MODE

Hi all, please suggest some solution for this,I am trying to produce 14.7khz PWM signal with below timer1 configuration for 16Mhz clock frequency and i am getting 14.53Khz to 14.83Khz.Why am i getting this frequency variation. Is ST timer can not produce exact output PWM frequency?F_CK_PSC(prescaler frequency) is 16Mhz and Timer1 configuration are as below.More than 1 timer channel have been used and all shows same frequency variation  // enable peripheral clock  CLK_PCKENR2_bit.PCKEN21 = 1;  // PWM Mode 1 (output low while TIM1_CNT < TIM1_CCR1); Output-Compare preload enable; CC1 output  TIM1_CCMR1 = 0x68;  // PWM Mode 1 (output low while TIM1_CNT < TIM1_CCR2); Output-Compare preload enable; CC2 output  TIM1_CCMR2 = 0x68;  // PWM Mode 1 (output low while TIM1_CNT < TIM1_CCR3); Output-Compare preload enable; CC3 output  TIM1_CCMR3 = 0x68;  // Enable Timer 1 Ch 1+2 output  TIM1_CC

I have an application where there is a potential for lots of text. It would be nice to break up the next into a bulleted list or a numbered list. Is there a clever way to do this with the Touchgfx framework? I think making typed text values for each block will be too tedious for the amount of text I will be working with. The only other option I can think of is creating an image of the formatted text and using that. Thanks.

Hello, I'm currently working with a board made by my team using a STM32L476RG. I started my project from the dataLog Fusion Project from the Mems examples. My issue is that the UnicleoGui communicates with the mcu through STLink by using USART2, connected to the ports PA2 and PA3.However those ports weren't routed and now I have to solder by hand my STLink UART Ports to the MCU pins. By chance, my team routed the port PA9 and PA10 in order to have uart access to the board, in bootstrap mode to program it. With my handmade soldering i can communicate with the ST link but when the device will be manufactured, we will have to test some outputs of our device ( the heading output from motionFX for example ), and we would like to be able to do so through our connector, routed to pA9 and PA10. (those ports would the be connected to the STLink device, but without needing any soldering)So my question is : Is it possible to connect my PA9 and PA10 ports to USART2, which doesn't allow those ports

Hi, is it possible to get a round-about info on the expected Hal-Eth update? In the release notes of the Hal-Driver it is flagged as "A full rework of the ETH HAL driver is planned.." , but the last release has been in February. I would like to avoid spending time rewriting the current driver, only to have to rewrite it again after the next release to get it back to canon again.@Imen DAHMEN @Amel NASRI Do you maybe have the possibility to make an estimate here? E.G. in the next weeks, or within the next months, or still in tbd stage?PS: In the Milestone for 1.10. of github I did not see any tickets regarding the driver rework.

Hello! For my development, I need a sensor capable of determining the angle of deviation of the platform from the equilibrium position. Also, this sensor should determine the angle of rotation of the platform. Will the ISM330DHCX inertial module be able to perform this function ?How long will the accumulated errors not make a serious contribution to the measurement result?Sincerely Anton.

Hi everyone,I am using two mosfet as a switch (in order to open or close a contactor, turn-on or turn-off some PCBs, etc, not high frequencies are required), one high side mosfet and one low side mosfet. I want to control them with the L6395 driver.Well, I have read about mosfet and its duty cycle but It is not clear for me:1) Using mosfet as I use, is the duty cyle important?2) The L6395 driver Bootstrap configuration not allow 100% of duty cycle and the Charge Pump configuration allow 100%? am I wrong?AND THE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS:The charge pump configuration of the L6395 is not clear for me. The figure 7 in the datasheet shows the schematic. But the problem is the load: I want to use a load in series as Figure 6, but with the charge pump configuration of the Figure 7. Is it posible? It would resolve the duty cycle problems? I hope you can understand my english.Thank you for you help

I am stuggling with following task:My system is running with SDCard perfectly when either SD card is inserted or not at power on. So file system is working if card is present at power on.It also detects when the card is extracted while system is running and unmounts the file system. Now I thought it would be nice to reinstall the file handling if I reinsert the card again. But BSP_SD_Init (in bsp_driver_sd) returns 1 (Error). Is anybody out there, who did this before and can help? What has to be done to properly deinstall the SD card handlers when the card is extracted?Any help is very much appreciated!Best regards GS

Hi at all,I'm facing a ‘tag lost’ problem with two different chips connected to one I2C bus. I didn’t find a similar scenario, so here is mine:One chip is a ST25DV04KThe other chip is another Memory-EEPROMBoth have the same device identifier, but different bits in the chip enable address => AFAIK this should be possible, correct me if I’m in the wrong here I’m using an Android app for NFC communication. The mailbox in the ST25DV04K is used to exchange chunks of data in both directions.Since RF and I2C is not supported at the same time, delays/timeslots are added to avoid access the ST25DV04K at the same time. The MCU using the GPO with an interrupt.=> As long as there is only exchange between the Android app and the MCU (STM32) it works just fine.If there is a write access to the other Memory-EEPROM (save data between 100B and ~16kB), the Android app detects a ‘tag lost’ in most cases. The exchange can be seen like this:Chunks are sent from app to MCU via ST25 mailboxMCU checks da
