Hi all i am facing a problem with sprintf . the %u,%d are working fine in sprintf but the %f is throwing some garbage value in my code any thoughts please share me here. i have shared a snippet of my code over here.float Channel_5_Volt; Channel_5_Volt = ((float)Adc_5_Data/4095)*3.3; sprintf(Buf,"adc0 %f \r\n", Channel_5_Volt); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1,Buf, sizeof(Buf), 100);

After been testing VL53L3CX in my own board based in a STM32F407 micro, I want to test VL53L1CB now. But I am not wiring (satellite board) to a Nucleo board. I have connected it to my own board and trying to reformulate the project with STM32CubeMX. However I cannot find the right software support, neither in X-CUBE-TOF1 library nor in X-CUBE-53L1A2 which seems not to support a bare driver API for custom hardware.Do you think I can use VL53L3 parent API, VL53LX, to support VL53L1CB?

I am trying to get my STM32WB5MM-DK to output a PWM from LPTIM1 clocked from LSE in STOP mode.I created a fresh project with STM32SCUBEIDE selecting HSI clock for the main CPU and LSE clock for the LPTIM1.Then in User Code 2 section i put the following: LL_C2_PWR_SetPowerMode(LL_PWR_MODE_SHUTDOWN); //Shutdown CPU2   HAL_LPTIM_PWM_Start(&hlptim1, 999, 499);//DIV2 = ~16.4HZ 50% Duty   HAL_Delay(500); //PWM can be seen on scope here   HAL_PWREx_EnterSTOP0Mode(PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI); //PWM stopsHowever when i get to the stop mode, the pwm signal stops... what am i doing wrong?

Hi,First of all nice application note for getting started with SBSFU cheers :thumbs_up: Let me provide details of steps which I followed Device - STM32H7B3I-DKFollowed AN5056 - Integration guide for the X-CUBE-SBSFU. I was investigating NFC functionality on STEVAL-SMARTAG1 board, and something went wrong. Most likely I mistyped a symbol while writing one of the registers using NFC Tap iOS app. The tag is no longer recognizable by the app, see the screenshot attached. I could not find any firmware to restore the tag. Is there a way to restore it?

I have STM32G473VCT6 MCU. According to part number this device should have 256kB flash (Size code C). Flash size register (0x1FFF75E0) also shows 256kB (reg. value 0x100). However I can read and successfully write 512kB of data. STM32CubeProgrammer also shows 256 pages with 2kB each. Memory layout works as for 512kB device. This is genuine ST chip. I bought it from mouser.I understand that all size versions are manufactured identically and later sorted into three size groups to optimize sales in multiple price categories.Question 1. Why this extra flash is not locked or hidden from the users? This extra flash causes some confusion because datasheet is very ambiguous on this topic. Quote from STM32G473xB/C/E datasheet: "The STM32G473xB/xC/xE devices feature 512 kbytes of embedded Flash memory which is available for storing programs and data." This would mean that all 3 type have 512kB of flash memory, but when you look into feature table or ordering information, then it says B=128kB, C=25

Hello I need to receive the value of multiple Channel of ADC 1 I followed this tuto : https://controllerstech.com/stm32-adc-multi-channel-without-dma/But when my pin 1 is connected to GND i have 1500 of numeric value Already tested in Arduino and the adc work perfectly It is a nucleo l432kc without modificationDo you have an Idea Thanks

Hello folks,I am trying to interface LIS2DH12 with NRF52840 DK(nordic semiconductor's Development Board )by using SPI bus protocol for which I have used the ST drivers from the link below,https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Standard_C_driversand used example "lis2dh12_read_data_polling.c"and configured the example with the below settings,ODR = 10Hz (even tried with 1Hz)LOW POWER MODE (8-bit mode)FULL SCALE - 2gTEMPERATURE SENSOR - DISABLE I am getting around 137-140 uA which is way more than the mentioned value in the Datasheet(around 2uA - 3uA).And for testing, I even tried with the I2C bus protocol but still got a 140 uA+ reading. So, any suggestions where I might be going wrong. Thanks and regards,Abhay Singh

Dear all,I have a STM32L562E-DK board (DK32L562E$AT3) and when i use the CubeProgrammer GUI, I cannot see TZEN bit in OptionByte panel nor any configuration bit related to trustzone. RDP0.5 does not appear neither (only RDP0,1 and 2). The revision of my board is quite old, could it be the problem? Do i need to buy a newer board?Best regards

Hi,I want to know if two ant7-t-st25dv04k modules can communicate with each other. If not why?

There is a difference between the protocol description in the AN5512 and the embedded library package (STSW-ST25R-LIB). This seems to concern encrypted transmission.ST25FTM_SEND_WITH_ENCRYPTION is not defined in STSW-ST25R-LIB.Bit 0 in ST25FTM control byte differs from the code in STSW-ST25R-LIB.Is 1.3.0 the latest STSW-ST25R-LIB version or is there a newer one?

How can i write/read via Fast Transfer Mode using st25dv app for my special designed board that have st25dv64k ic ?I have a special board that have st25dv64k ic and also i use st25dv mobile application . i can implement whole commands using st25dv app and my board but i can't find how can i read/write via FTM buffer using st25dv app. I can read/write only EEPROM area in chip using mobile app.

I have the X-Nucleo-NFC30A1 with the Cr95HF chip.I used the X-Cube-NFC3 v2.1.0.I have changed the platfrom.h file and I am able to read UUID, but I need the device to be in card emulation mode if i set RFAL_FEATURE_LISTEN_MODE to trueI am getting a linker error:In file rfal_rfst25r95.cundefined reference to `st25r95Listen'undefined reference to `st25r95RearmListen'undefined reference to `st25r95SetACFilter'undefined reference to `st25r95SPIGetLmState'And it seems that this functions are not implemented! Is there any working example, or documentation to implement card emulation?

On a STM32F412 I need to have an I2C slave that may be required to transmit or receive data without knowing it first. The problem is that we have two separate functions:HAL_I2C_Slave_Receive_IT to receive data from the master, but the driver will hang if the master will try to read dataHAL_I2C_Slave_Transmit_IT to send data to the master, but the driver will hang if the master will try to write dataIs there anything useful in HAL or any other library, or have i to hardly write low level code by myself to do it?Any other suggestion? Thanks in advance*****

Hi, I'm working on a project which involves STM32L476QEI. It has external dedicated OPAMP1_VINM and OPAMP2_VINM (M3 and M4 pins). If I'm not going to use the opamp functionality, do I have to connect them to the ground or leave them floating? What I learn from CubeMX is that I can use them to remap connections to free up GPIO. Are there other possibilities that I missed?

Range Status value 3 is "Min Range Fail", which is checked by reading from VL53L0X_REG_RESULT_PEAK_SIGNAL_RATE_REF.What is the Peak Signal Rate Ref.?I'm finding how to differentiate between a reflective sheet and a high gloss stainless steel like a mirror.I hope this value helps me.Best Regards,Woojin

As you know, the reflective sheet is very bright regardless of the reflective sheet surface angle. However other reflective materials, such as mirrors, are only bright when the surface angle is perpendicular to the VL53L0X.In such cases, it is difficult to distinguish only by the difference in brightness. Is there a way to differentiate between reflective sheets and other reflective materials like mirrors with the VL53L0X?Thanks in advance.

I believe HSE is 24 MHz, DIVM3 is /2 (12 MHz) DIVN3 is X34 (408 MHz) DIVP3 is /2 (204 MHz) But the screen says it is 208.87793.   I thought I knew how the PLL worked. And it is not like this.   I have a screen shot.

It is Debian based distio (crunchbang plusplus), after installing IDE using sh script provided, the IDE is found in the list of programs, but it is not in the PATH, and I could not find location of the installed files. Also attempting to run installation again would tell me "Nothing to install", so I assume that installation was successful.Any idea how to run program that is nowhere to be found? :)

Hi. We are starting a new automation project that needs to detect distance to objects as small as 5 cm by 5 cm, at a distance from 5 cm up to 200 cm. I have been testing VL53L3CX, and VL53L1 through Satel eval. boards. Connected to a proprietary hardware with STM32F407 micro. All the set up is done using STM32cubeIDE. As our application is intended to be an indoor device we didn't worry about ambient light at first. But I observed that using the device next to a window, no direct sunlight, max. ranging distance degrades severely to a maximum of 60 cm or less depending on target surface and size. I see max distance will be a challenge for our project. I assume we have a laser power and or sensitivity issue here. I would like to know if you have some advice in order to enable VL53 line of tof sensor to be used here. Any comments will be appreciated.RegardsAdele.1

I added an -fexceptions flag to the linker script using the Properties menu, but can't find how to remove --specs=nano.specs from the scriptProperties->C/C++ Build->MCU G++ LinkerThe "All options" is grayed out so I can't edit it.Properties->C/C++ Build->MCU G++ Linker->General Properties->C/C++ Build->MCU G++ Linker->Miscellaneous
