I am trying to connect the SensorTile.box to my iPhone using the ST BLE Sensor app. However, when I go to "Connect to a device" in the app and select the SensorTile.box that I have, the app asks me to enter a code to connect to the box. What is this code? It says it is the code shown on the box, but I don't know what this code is.The full message is this:Bluetoothe Pairing Request"TILEBOX" would like to pair with your iPhoe. Enter the code shown on "TILEBOX". DO not do anything on "TILEBOX" until pairing is complete.I am running the ST BLE Sensor app on iOS.

Hi,What is the most efficient way to change controllers on a custom board?I have changed the STM32G473RE to an STM32G473RC, the project is build and compiled with cube IDE (so i have an ioc file too). Is there an easy way to change the controller in the ioc file to another one and rebuild the code? Or which other way causes the least work?

..

As part of maintaining one repository for the application SW, planning to make HAL separation and build configuration switch to be able to work with one STM32CubeIDE, ioc file.Controller change expected from the same Architecture. listed as below Current MCU: STM32F446RET6.New MCU : STM32F411CCU6TR

When I read the STuW81300 datasheet, I learned to need to use 10uF and small resistance at the output of LDO. I will share the Application Diagram below this. But when I read the UM2218 User manual, I saw the bellow figure.I don't know if I need that many links.I am waiting for your comments and help.

What am I trying to do?I'm trying to send CAN messages on a 500 kbit/s bus with a STMF769I-DISCO. At the same time I'm trying to have a screen running LVGL (v8.0.0) on which is dependent on having the HCLK higher than 200 MHz. Lower clock speeds causes "tearing issues " on the screen(see picture). When the HCLK is too high for some reason I can only read ERROR FRAMES on the CAN bus with a KVASER USB (CAN monitoring device). When the HCLK is lower than around 140 MHz I'm able to send CAN messages. What have I tried?I have tried different HCLK settings and it seems like when the HCLK speed is above about 140 MHz I'm not able to send messages.I have also tried different APB1 peripheral clock speeds and that does not seem to do any difference for me. I have tried having the SYSCLK at 200 MHz and having the HCLK at 100 MHz but that causes "tearing issues" on the display. The CAN transciever used is MCP2551 and is fed by the F7 with 5V. I have tried powering the F7 from my laptop aswell as a 1

When i turn on bank 2 of my stm32f439, the ethernet led flashes ,When i m on bank 1 everything work fine but when i swap bank 2 ( bank full erase only "FF") or with the same firmware then bank 1 nothing is worked and i don't know how but the led of the ethernet connector flashes.I already tryed this on the stm32f437 and its work perfectly but not on the STM32f439.It's suppose to be the same memory organization "https://www.st.com/resource/en/reference_manual/dm00031020-stm32f405-415-stm32f407-417-stm32f427-437-and-stm32f429-439-advanced-arm-based-32-bit-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf"Regards.

There is option generate report in STMCubeMX but I didnt find on STMCubeIDE. Where is the this option. ("generate report" )  With the Generate report, you export the configuration settings of the project we created in STMCubeIDE.

Dear reader,I was wondering if it is possible to use the Dynamic NFC tags series as a passive tag. I do not have a supply voltage available, so I was wondering what the effects would be. The I2C and the SRAM would not work. Anything else?

I have the following pinctrl entry in my 5.10 device tree to use the USART1 and the serial port fails, due to an incorrect pin configuration for PZ7 AF7.usart1_pins_c: usart1-2 { pins1 { pinmux = <STM32_PINMUX('Z', 7, AF7)>, /* USART1_TX */ <STM32_PINMUX('A', 12, AF7)>; /* USART1_RTS */ bias-disable; drive-push-pull; slew-rate = <0>; }; pins2 { pinmux = <STM32_PINMUX('Z', 1, AF7)>, /* USART1_RX */ <STM32_PINMUX('A', 11, AF7)>; /* USART1_CTS_NSS */ bias-pull-up; }; };Does anybody know why this is happening?Does the PZ7 require any specific setup to be used as USART1_TX?Best regards,--Mike

Hello everyone,I have recently upgraded my STM32CubeIDE to:Version: 1.9.0Build: 12015_20220302_0855 (UTC)With this version, my ADC settings have changed automatically to have the discontinuous conversion mode always enabled. There is no possibility to disable it:I would like to have a continuous conversion mode, which is now greyed out because the discontinuous conversion mode is enabled:I can work around this issue by just altering the init section of the ADC. It would be nice though to also change it in the .ioc file in order to have it clean. What do I miss here? How do I disable the discontinous conversion mode?I am using a STM32G030K6T6 BTW.Thanks in advance for your response.Felix

In our project, we are using ST micro NFC chip (ST25DV). So, the query is which card Reader be supported to read/write data for ST micro NFC chip (ST25DV)? Secondly, which PC-based applications can be used to see the data after reading or writing

Hello,I would grateful for some clarity on the expected bit order when writing to the configuration register of the LED1642GW.Whilst it is clearly documented that CFG-0 is the LSB, and CFG-15 is the MSB of the serialised word, it is not clear to me whether data is expected as LSB or MSB first?Section 8.8 - PWM counter setting and brightness register (CFG-15) Does however state"(first input bit of brightness word is MSB, 16th bit is LSB)", with respect to brightness values, so I'd expect this to be universally the case? So... Big Endian? Many Thanks

I chaecked the following:There are no variable definitions in my headers. I use #ifndef/#define/#endif in all headers. After 2 days of trying I don't know what to do anymore. What might have changed in V1.9.0?

Hi there!i try to configurate TIM14 for generate one interuupt every 1000ms just for try but dosent't work . the frequency is 16Mhz i setup a prescaler 1600-1 and the Counter period 10000, but i diden't receive any interrupt. Before the while i turn on the timer HAL_TIM_Base_Start(&htim14). Please some one can help me ? thanks Sergio

Hi, I've got an project in cubeide that starts in one project and then jump's to another at 0x0800C000. It's been working in the past and I've somehow broken it trying to do updates. Here is the main code in the bootloader. It's very simple. BOOTLOADER v/* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h" #include "fatfs.h"   /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */   #include <stdbool.h>   /* USER CODE END Includes */   /* Private variables ---------------------------------------------------------*/ CRC_HandleTypeDef hcrc;   I2C_HandleTypeDef hi2c1;   SPI_HandleTypeDef hspi2;   /* USER CODE BEGIN PV */   /* USER CODE END PV */   /* Private function prototypes -----------------------------------------------*/ void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(void); static void MX_SPI2_Init(void); static void MX_CRC

I have a project whereby I intend to cascade 13 LED1642GWPTRs, in order to control a number of RGB LEDs.As an "in-progress-check", I have currently placed only two LED1642GWs, each as the schematic below, with SDO of the first chip connected to SDI of the second. I have verified that the CLK, LE and PWCLK are common and within specification, also that the chips are powered and grounded. IMPORTANT: I have yet to connect any loading LEDs so as such, all OUTs are open (NC).I wanted first to check for cascading operation, however I have found: Data is only output from the SDO of LED1642GW Number 1, when there has been a digital key passed on LE. No data is "pushed through" otherwise. Specifically, if I serialise 2 16bit words to Chip 1's SDI, I would have expected the first word to have cascaded through, however, nothing at all is output. My thoughts are that either the chips are in an error state given that the loads are open or I have misunderstood something fundamental about their operat
