I was generate key-pair (privateKey.pem, publicKey.pem) by STM32MP_KeyGen_CLI and also got publicKeyhash.bin. After this i was sign FSBL TF-A bootloader and then make FIP (OP-TEE, U-Boot, configs) with "TRUSTED_BOARD_BOOT=1" option, kernel, rootfs. At now i have a question: is any easy way to put publicKeyhash.bin on device OTP (about hundred devices)?Usage "STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port=usb1 -otp program wordID=0xNNNN value=0xMMMM" command is not easy way, because absent command to read OPT. How to check programmed value after write, before lock device? And also need some script to convert "publicKeyhash.bin" to STM32_Programmer_CLI commands. How was solved this case on mass production?

When creating a new project I can not find EVAL-SPIN3201 in the inverter list. Are boards downloadable or what am I missing?

Hey everyone,I'm trying to make a project in C++. I tried the trick to rename main.c to main.cpp with the right-click > rename function. It works, but then if I change the IOC with the config tool, it will create a new main.c with the proper settings (and ignore main.cpp).What would be the proper way to use C++? Is there a setting to have main.cpp updated in case of a config change ?

I am writing a Flexray driver for SPC56. And I follow steps that mentioned in document. But there is not detail description in that document : SPC56XL70xx 32-bit MCU family built on the embedded Power Architecture® (st.com) . Like protocol initialization 1.c in flexray application information on page 903 : "configure the FR_PCR0,..., FR_PCR30 registers to set all protocol parameters" and there is no information that registers default values and which ones must be configured. Do anyone have detail flexray configuration document or anyone could help me?

The customer was looking for a lock function from its BLDC motor driver. They were advised to use the “dynamic braking? function of their motor driver, it seems - from what I understand. The Dynamic braking function does not offer a true locking functionality, unfortunately. Dynamic braking will allow the motor to drift from a stopped position, if the load can overcome the mechanical frictions and backdrive the motor and its transmission. Think of it as adding a lot of viscosity into a mechanism; that’s what the Dynamic Braking functionality of a BLDC motor driver chip provides. In the customer’s situation, closing the loop on position (simple Proportional closed-loop is probably sufficient in this case) would keep motor in its stopped position, even if the load tries to backdrive the motor. Application: Tourniquet. After reaching proper pressure, the tourniquet must stay in position not to allow the release of pressure. Dynamic Braking will allow a slow release of the press

Hello everyone,I'm struggling trying to compile an old project without having to regenerate the configuration files, this project was made under the ppc freegcc with vle support V4.9.2 ,I tried to compile using the last actual version(4.9.4) and I'm facing a lot of problems. From what I understood in order to correctly compile we need a PATH that include 3 locations :1-The Make.exe location2-gcc.exe location (Plugins/GCC-plugin-version/toolchain/bin)3-ld.exe location (Plugins/GCC-plugin-version/toolchain/powerpc-eabivle/bin)Thing with using that version is that we will need to update the crt0.s file otherwise we will have linking errors, (I don't know if updating other s file is necessary) Could someone please tell me how can I get the older version ? I'm just looking for that particular plugin<< com.st.tools.spc5.tools.gnu.gcc.ppcvle.win32_1.0.0.201611101103 >>Thank you for you help.

Hi,I'm trying to interface a nrf52840 DK with a LIS2DW12. I'm using the ST-Eval board for the IMU. I'm able to read the WHO_AM_I register and it gives the correct value(0x44). I tried setting the IMU to 100Hz and the high performance mode. When i tried to read the CTRL1 and CTRL6 registers, it returns a 0.Is there any specific sequence the ODR and power modes must be set? Thanks

HI,I am working on STM32F413zh and i am trying to enable FSMC_NL gpio pin. I dont't know what is the purpose and how to enable this pin in STM32cubeMX. Please give me the support.Thankyou.

Hello,I'm using StmCubeMX 6.5.0 with StmCubeIDE 1,9.0.I'm trying to set up ADC1 channel 7 (PA2 pin) in polling mode on STM32U585QII device.HAL_ADC_GetValue is always returning 0 while it should return something else.Below is a simple main function:int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ uint32_t adc_value; /* USER CODE END 1 */   /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init();   /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */   /* USER CODE END Init */   /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config();   /* Configure the System Power */ SystemPower_Config();   /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */   /* USER CODE END SysInit */   /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */   /* USER CODE END 2 */   /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1

Hi, Can we use ISM303 for a Tilt-compensated compass application? When checking the 'Applications' in datasheet, 'Tilt-compensated compasses' is not mentioned in the datasheet of ISM303, but it is mentioned in the datasheet of LSM303, which are both '3D accelerometer + 3D magnetometer' ICs. Can someone share your comments on what the difference would be in ISM303 vs LSM303 for computing tilt compensated compass values? Can we use the raw accelerometer and magnetometer data from ISM303 and compute tilt compensated compass values? Is there a library provided by ST for computing the Tilt compensated compass reading / is there an application note suitable for ISM303 for computing tilt compensated heading (just like the application note for LSM303)?ThanksAkshay

Hi,I'm trying to configure an LSM6DSO (sparkfun breakout), using a TWIM/I2C bus, master device is a nordic NRF52.For the most part, the communications appear to be working. I'm able to configure an interrupt to respond to a single tap. The interrupt works. So it would appear communications and hardware layer problems are not the issue and the chip is working (but only just!).My key problem is that when i write to certain registers, and read the values back, i get totally different values. An example is TAP_CFG0 when i write 0x45 to this (latching interrupts, y axis turned on) it reads back 0xFF ! which is mad, as the datasheet suggests the msb should ALWAYS be 0?What could cause this register to throw up some sort of error value or bad return value? I can find no useful documentation of this in the datasheet? Also, i tried to perform a reset, by setting the SW_RESET bit, (with acc & gyro in pwr-down mode), yet the bit never resets itself to indication completion of reset. Could the t

The RFAL library claims to support the ST25R3912 but has no definitions in the sources for this chip. How to use the RFAL library with the ST25R3912 chip? just use ST25R3911 definitions and sources?

Hi,I have a small problem during stm32mp1xxx bring up. The Uart4 is debug console and is connected to stlink v2.1 on virtual serial. The problem is that this stlink makes all the time interrupt U-Boot and stack in it (stlink not connected to USB). To go system father I need to connect stlink to USB and type 'boot'. I tried to addCONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2 CONFIG_SILENT_CONSOLE=y CONFIG_SYS_DEVICE_NULLDEV=y CONFIG_SILENT_CONSOLE_UPDATE_ON_SET=y CONFIG_SILENT_U_BOOT_ONLY=ybut without success. In the hardware, I added pull up resistorsTo prove my theory I make a shortcut on resistor R58 and the system boot-up all the time. How to correctly resolve this problemThanks in advancedBR Michal

Hello,I cannot use the STM32CUBEprogrammer standalone program, however my programmer works just fine with stm32CUBEIDE V1.7. During programming in STM32cubeide the configuration is visible and it loads STM32cubeprogrammer V2.8 I copied the settings over to the standalone program since those seem to work in STM32CUBEIDE but it still does not work. Hello, I have found out that connection from transceiver pins CAN_RX and CAN_TX are connected to CAN_TX and CAN_RX.I mean :from CAN transceiver to stm32f105CAN_RX -----------------------------> CAN_TXCAN_TX------------------------------> CAN_RXIs there anyway to fix the issue in software?Thank you.

Hello, is there a way to calculate and display the flash/memory checksum after build for example in MPLAB X IDE there is a checksum in the dashboard (see the attached picture).

Hello,I have stm32h757i-eval board here. I've used stm32cubeprogrammer to edit OB where I've unselected M7 core from booting and left just M4 selected. This was done in intention to boot just M4 core and leave M7 core halted. When I modified OB this way and then apply, after few seconds I got a message that CubeProgrammer is not able to connect to the target. I've tried again stopping and starting CubeProgrammer and it crashed clearly (ubuntu 20.04, cube programmer 2.9.0, known issue). I've found a solution for crash, installed 2.10.0 on ubuntu 20.04) and attempted to connect board again and in the log (no crash) I see "Error: No STM32 target found!".I've decided to duplicate the issue on Windows 10 + STM32CubeProgremmer 2.10.0 and again I see the same error.Whole log on Windows looks: 21:26:28 : STM32CubeProgrammer API v2.10.0 | Windows-64Bits 21:26:28 : ST-LINK error (DEV_CONNECT_ERR) 21:26:40:995 : STLinkUSBDriver.dll loaded 21:26:40:997 : STLinkUSBDriver.dll loaded 21:26:40:997

Hi,Iam student on Sheffield hallam university and I called by sulaiman Alsaffar discover bug when working on stm32f407 discovery board. This bug set the 5v for the vbus low which make it unactive in patch 6.4.0 .I had to read all folder that generate by the mx usb drive to fix this problem since it wont let you use usb because it wont get enough voltage and it not mentioned anywhere and wasn't there before. Fixing the issue with USB MSC The USB Mass Storage Class was not working because of insufficient voltage supply toVBUS. It was figured out that the usbh_platform.c file generated by the CubeMX software washaving issues.By making necessary modifications, the expected outcome was obtained. Before fix/***@brief Drive VBUS.* @param state : VBUS state* This parameter can be one of the these values:* -1: VBUS Active* -0 : VBUS Inactive*/void MX_DriverVbusFS(uint8_t state){uint8_t data - state;/* USER CODE BEGIN PREPARE_GPIO_DATA_VBUS_FS */if(state == 0){/* Drive high Charge pump */data -

Hi,I am trying to use malloc() in BlueNRG LP as I want to dynamically allocate some memory during runtime (not frequent, only when a set of commands are received via BLE). However, I am not able to allocate memory. The pointer always is returning NULL. I have set the Heap scheme to "Advanced" under project options in IAR Workbench, but am not able to allocate.char * ptr = (char*)malloc(5 * sizeof(char));if (ptr == NULL) return; The above is a code sample. I tried printing the size of character, it returns a huge garbage value for some reason.Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
