Hello, I'm exploring a new STM32L4S Discovery kit IoT node. After attemped to connect AWS but failed, the original Web server demo FW was erased. I appreciate your guidance regarding:How to restore the demo FW?Where can I get some basic CubeIDE examples for B-L4S5I-IOT01A?Thanks in advance,pic1: web demo fw goodpic: web demo fw broken

Hey,I built a project base on the STM32 G070RB Nucleo board. Now i want to take the cpu and design my own board for a project in my work.My question is how to connect the STlink v2 to the CPU, because i saw in 3 diffrent resources, diffrent numbers of legs to connect. PDF schematics - in the upper right corner(4 Legs)2.Datasheet of the board(5 Legs, number 6 is not used!)3.Datasheet of the STlink V2(20 Legs)Can any one tell me what is the corrent way ?

I'm planning to use 24V 0.5A Motor in application. It will be controlled from MCU which is taking 3.3V input and it's GPIO will give 3.3V when output pin is logic high. I'm thinking to interface the Motor to MCU via driver VNL5300S5TR-E.Now I have doubts in this driver VNL5300S5TR-E.This VNL5300S5TR-E IC is running on 3.5V to 5V. so I'm giving Vcc pin to 5V but input pin of this IC will be driven from MCU which will make input pin of IC to 3.3V. so 3.3V voltage is sufficient to turn on the Internal MOSFET ?2.There is a truth table 14 in the datasheet which says that STATUS Pin will get low for condition Output voltage < VOL. What is this condition, can you explain in detail.3.Also what is this Openload detection table 10. in the datasheet. Can you tell more about this.Regards,Bitesh

Can anyone explain a usage case or purpose for the 4 Internal and 3 External DACs?Can you operate all three external DACs simultaneously to provide 3 reference voltages?

HiI have a project where I am using RAM_D2 for DMA buffers and the .text section is loaded into QSPI flash. I need to use STM32_Programmer_CLI in my development.I added section in .ld file:/* Specify the memory areas */ MEMORY { FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 128K DTCMRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 128K RAM_D1 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x24000000, LENGTH = 512K RAM_D2 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x30000000, LENGTH = 288K RAM_D3 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x38000000, LENGTH = 64K ITCMRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x00000000, LENGTH = 64K }   /* Define output sections */ SECTIONS { /* The startup code goes first into FLASH */ .isr_vector : { . = ALIGN(4); KEEP(*(.isr_vector)) /* Startup code */ . = ALIGN(4); } >FLASH   /* The program code and other data goes into FLASH */ .text : { ... .memory_dma (NOLOAD) : { . = ALIGN(8); *(.memory_dma*) } >RAM_D2, and code to use variable in main.c:/* USER CODE BEGIN PV */   typedef struct { unsigned char buffer[1024]; int

I'm starting project with custom board that is controlled in STM32L031K6T6 MCU.I set up that with cube ide and wrote simple Timer code.Unfortunately, It isn't work. Not only that, Nothing is happend(uart, Hal_Delay, GPIO...)But oddly enough, it is working at same setting of Stm32L011K FW of Cube ide.Everything worked in the Stm32L011 setting, but nothing worked in the Stm32L031 setting. Is there anything I missed? I'm really confused...I set the cubeide with STM32L031, STM32L011(Both project is set in Nucleo Board version)The board is worked in Stm32L011 version although The MCU of that is Stm32L031K6T6, It isn't worked in Stm32L031K Setting...

Hey,I am using the STM32G070Rb development kit for my project.i downloaded from the CAD resources the cpu schematics. However in the libary there are 3 types of packages1.LQFP-64-M2.LQFP-64-L3.LQFP-64what package i have on my development kit?thanks

Hello....I have TIM1 clocking at 1ms. It rolls over at 1000 counts (ie 1 second). Within the pushbutton IRQ I add 50 to the timer register and disable the GPIO IRQ. I would also like to enable a compare IRQ here as well, such that after the counter counts 50ms it generates a compare IRQ at which point I will re-enable the GPIO IRQ and set a flag for main. I used LL code to set the timer and disable the GPIO IRQ but don't know exactly what registers to touch to enable the compare IRQ....can someone please tell me how to do this? I do not want to have a timer that gets enabled in the GPIO IRQ and counts for 50 then generates an interrupt as I want to make use of a continuous timer that is running at 1ms and rolls every second as this is available for other purposes. Thanks

Using CUBEIDE_1.11.0, TouchGFX_4.21.0,and STM32F429I-DISC0.Starting a GUI is easy using TouchGFX using an easy button and interaction program. I am having trouble understanding programming pins on the STM32MCU to correlate with the buttons on the GUI.  All video instructions use MX with TouchGFX inside the CUBE IDE. Every time I generate code in TouchGFX and import to Cube IDE, the MX file does not transfer or is not created. What am I doing wrong?

I am using STM32L031F4P.I want to use it Programmable Voltage Detector to detect the voltage of its power supply.I am not finding any library to use.I want to have some coding help and its library file.

According to my understanding, I can read/write data directly through the "DR" register. Why do I have to set the FIFO Threshold value? How to use the FIFO correctly during the reading and writing procedure?  And another question is that How to set the "CSHT[5:0]" in "DR1" register? For example How to set the "CSHT[5:0]" if I use "IS25LP064A" Flash?ThanksBest Regards

Hello,I would like to use TWO circular DMA buffers for ONE I2C interface.Depending on received address byte, in the ADDR interrupt I would always enable the correct circular buffer (disabling the other one - so at one time always only ONE buffer is active). So I would like, depending on address of the received I2C message, switch the CCR_EN bit of the two DMA channels ... would this work? (or would switching EN off / on somehow reset the internal CNDTR setting?).(In 12.4.4 DMA arbitration there is a note "If the channel x is disabled, the DMA registers are not reset... " ... so I have the slight hope that this might work?).

"TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'x')".I have attached the snapshot of the error message. Requesting support from community members.

Hello, I'm attempting to flash firmware to aforementioned microcontroller using STM32CubeProgrammer. I have connected ST-Link VCP port to PA2 and PA3 ports, and i can communicate with my application fine. I even erased flash memory so I could be sure that device is in Boot mode. Unfortunately, I cannot connect to bootloader, log from Programmer below: 13:48:06 : Serial Port ttyACM0 is successfully opened. 13:48:06 : Port configuration: parity = even, baudrate = 115200, data-bit = 8, stop-bit = 1.0, flow-control = off 13:48:08 : Timeout error occured while waiting for acknowledgement. 13:48:08 : Timeout error occured while waiting for acknowledgement. 13:48:08 : Error: Activating device: KO. Please, verify the boot mode configuration and check the serial port configuration. Reset your device then try again... I'm wondering if listing both PA9/PA10 and PA2/PA3 as UART ports in documentation has anything to do with it. How does bootloader determine which of both pairs to use? Can pull

Hi, I am trying to use an STM32G031J6-DISCO board to get a grasp on the 8-pin STM32G031J6 MCU that I consider for building small IoT sensors (for teaching purposes). I am new to STM32 products (or ST MCUs in general). I managed to write a few variations of programs (with STM32CubeIDE v1.10.1 on Fedora 35) for blinking the built-in onboard user LED and playing with the built-in push-button as well. However, after rebooting my computer, the user LED is not blinking anymore and I now face an error message when I try to upload my code (using STM32CubeIDE):STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. I was getting strange results with the deadtime prescaler of the H7 hrtim and it appears that the H7 reference manual (RM0433 rev 7) is incorrect: The DTPRSC field of register HRTIM_DTxR, is supposed to get binary values from 011 to 111 (000 to 010 are reserved) which correspond to multiplication of the  tHRTIM by 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16. The provided formula is tDTG = 2^(DTPRSC - 3) * tHRTIM.But, when I set the prescaler to the HRTIM_TIMDEADTIME_PRESCALERRATIO_MUL8 define from HAL, it places a 0 in DTPRSC, while according to RM0433, it should have been 0b110 (= 6). Then when I used HRTIM_TIMDEADTIME_PRESCALERRATIO_MUL4, it wrote 1 in DTPRSC, and so on. There is not a XX_MUL16 defined. The actual deadtime is scaling in the oposite direction! The delay with MUL8 is half of the delay with MUL4, which is half of that with MUL2, ....Therefore the actual formula is tDTG = 2^(DTPRSC) * tHRTIM, so the -3 should not be in the exponent and the values of 0b000 to 0b010 are valid. I found a slightly old project, and I would like to compile it with STM32CubeIDE.It is to add HUB function in USB Host:https://github.com/mori-br/STM32F4HUBDoes anyone know how to adapt this project to compile in STM32CubeIDE?Or how to compile the original project?

Hello everyoneI have a little problem with stm32cubdeide, when im trying to work in debug mode with the mcu stm32f469nih6 i can't modiffy or add any bit to enable the register RCC->AHB1NER->GPIODEN.I just want to set clock to activate other peripheriphal and blink any ledshows a little blue circle where should be modify and put 1 to activate, but i cant add etiher 1 or other number, i dont know what is the solution, any can help me? please Regards

I am using two PDM microphones(mems transducer) with STM32 to measure the intensity and if the intensity of the left microphone is higher than the right one then an LED should turn on and vice versa. We measure the intensity of analog signals like when the signal is higher than a certain threshold then do something(if(ADC_Val >= 3000)do something...), so is it possible to do such things with digital microphones? Is it possible to measure the intensity of sound level from PCM samples?
