Hi, it's possible to use an external clock of 8Mhz (HSE generated by a crystal) on STM32G0B1KBT6 (LQFP32 pinout) on PC14 or PC15?

Hi @MPenz.1,

You can use an External High Speed clock mapped on OSC_IN with HSE in bypass mode.

But not a crystal resonator because which would require OSC_OUT pad to maintain the resonator effect. And the OSC_OUT isn't available with LQFP32 package.

Hello @MPenz.1 and welcome to the Community :),

If you refer to this STM32G0B1 datasheet, and precisely table 12, you can conclude that the PC14-OSC32_IN support the OSC_IN and OSC32_IN for LQFP32 package.

Thanks for the reply. I want to use HSE therefore I need OSC_IN and OSC_OUT. Where I can find OSC_OUT on the LQFP32 package?

Other STM32 32-pin devices host CK_IN / OSC_IN on the PA0 pad. Also 20 and 28-pin variants (see L011 for example)

Is this different here, or an oversight in the bond-out ? Rather disappointing..
