Upgrading to STM32CubeIDE 1.17.0 (on MacOS Sequoia 15.1.1) solved the issue for me.

Exactly the same here - I cannot revert to my French keyboard.

In fact it now works - but I am using a French keyboard and using sudo, it is seen as a UK one and I cant switch back.Inconvenient but at least I am not stuck.Thanks for your help
