I am trying to import STM32 example projects into the STM32CubeIDE. I am having a great deal of trouble doing so. I have the Nucleo-L496ZG-P board and want to be able to take the STM32 examples and load them directly.

 Is there a document that has the exact procedure on how to import an example into the STM32CubeIDE?

How do you turn on the code assistant and keep it on? I realize that <ctrl>+space turns it on for the current line, but it does not stay on. How can I set the tool to always have code assistant active all the time?
