No, it didn’t help, this was far to simple!I am looking for a safe way to detect if somebody is connected to the CDC interface, i.e., that a program on the PC has opened the VCOM UART connection. Pls. advice?

STM32F407, STM32CubeMX, USB FS Device, CDC. How do one check if a VCOM connection are established? Not just if the cable is connected, but that somebody on an attached the host computer, has opened the VCOM port and can accept data?

When using STM32CubeMX and FreeRTOS and latest Keil uVision compiler version 5, it works fine, but when using latest compiler version 6, several macro definitions etc. fail to compile. Is there a fix for this or when can I expect this is fixed?
