A VL53L1X has been soldered on a board, and the result I get from ranging are offset by at least 15%. Can it be caused by the soldering itself? Will calibration remove the offset?

Thank you for your response! We will check the 0 degree part. The soldering part wasn't done manually initially, but some rework had to be done. Maybe the device overheated. The next step is to test with a new VL53L1X on the same breakout board.
