I have noticed that the HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit code is only sending write requests to even numbered addresses. A hardcoded address of 0x21 becomes 0x20 for instance.

I've hit a snag in trying to debug a STM32f405 board. Everything works and verifies the connection when I hit debug from the main.c window, but when I try to run the program in the debug window it says the target is not responding. I'm using an ST-Link/V2
