update firmware using ST25 NFC App V.3.6.0

I am working on a hardware design using STM32L010K4T6. I want to implement the possibility to update the firmware via ST25DV NFC chip. My question: Do I need to tie the BOOT0 pin to Vdd ? Or do I not need the bootloader to implement the function?
