Posted on May 11, 2012 at 08:23Hi, im working on a school project trying to get some UART communication through to SP485 transceiver. But since im more the hardware guy, I quite lost where to begin when it comes to set up my UART. I have a STM8S Discovery kit to practice on but it has not the same timers etc. as the STM8S103 which is the chip used for the final product.
Are there any ''easy to read beginners guide'' for setting up UART on such a MCU
