STVP is hosed creating a huge file on exit and 100's of toolbar menu entries taking 30-60 seconds to load/save workspace

This started last week and is making it take 30-60 seconds to load and save my workspace. Also, the top menu bar containing the items for File, Edit, View, Debug, Project ... is missing! I can do Alt+F and Alt+P but I'd like it restored.

Right clicking a toolbar shows an endless list of choices. Sure enough if I open the workspace .WED file which is 700k it contains all these entries:

[WorkState_v1_2.DockState]
Bars=1192
.....

And 1192 childbar entries! If I delete this file after closing the workspace, these all return when I load and save again. Something is corrupted and I can't find anything in my files or registry to fix either issue. The other 3 workspace files appear to be fine.

This is making it hard to continue my work. I've already switched to the STM8 from NXP S08 and I do not want to switch again because of the quality of the tools.

Deleting the WDB and WED files that have the same name as the workspace restored the file menu and restored the loading and saving speed. I was forced to keep looking for a solution to this because it was taking 60 seconds to start debugging and over 90 to stop debugging. I don't know what made this occur but one thing I had enabled was large toolbar icons before I noticed the file menu missing. Unchecking large icons did not restore it.
