STM32CubeProgrammer 2.5.0 fails to open on macOS Catalina v 10.15.6

I have installed Java:

Successfully installed STM32CubeProgrammer:

If i launch in finder CubeProgrammer quits

If i launch in terminal java quits

I currently have STM32CubeIDE, STM32CubeMX, STM32CubeMonitor and STM32CubeMonitorRF all installed and working correctly.

Does anybody have any suggestions for a solution? I know this issue has been reported by a number of other community members using older software versions.

Hi there.

Is there a plan to update cube programmer to more modern java? AFAIK, this is the last of the tools that had not been promoted.

Yes, there is a plan to integrate OpenJDK in STM32CubeProgrammer.So, no need for any extra install.
