Connecting Board to Laptop

Hello,

I am new to FW/EE design for one of my board that has a STM32G0B1CEU6N.

I got the board from our CM that has wifi modules and a battery connected to the PCB board which has the above mentioned STM.

What i would like to understand is how to communicate with the board for flashing the new FW/SW.

The board has a 2X2 (pin header) that has the SWDIO, SWCLK, NRST and GND.

Can this pin be connected to ST-LINKV2 to talk via USB from WIndows. I also have STM32CUbeprogrammer installed.

I tried connecting it the way as mentioned above but it does not detect. What could be the issue here?

The chip/board needs to be viable for the ST-LINK to work. ie board needs power, chip needs to be wired correctly.

The authentic, stand-alone, ST-LINK/V2 needs a power connection from the target on either pin 1 or 2 of the 20-pin ARM header.

STM32 Cube Programmer reports this voltage in the right pane.

Got the voltage detected, is J402 powering the ST-LINK/V2?

I have identified a VDD test point on my board but did not connect it and the STM32 Cube programmer is reporting voltage but unable to detect my STM.

See attached. What could be the error?

Improper pins connected? I have rechecked this and looks ok to me.
